Hello everyone. Welcome to ZCI Awards and welcome to session three.

Now, a lot of people are joining. So I want to wait several more minutes. But while waiting, I want to make some announcements.

As we mentioned several times before, please bookmark these links so that you can access them easily. Especially the student guide is the most important. So don't forget to bookmark the student guide.

And next, please change your Slack display name to match your OmniCampus account name. You may lose your results if your name doesn't match. The good point of this rule is that when you face some problems in OmniCampus, we can advise you quickly if you follow this rule. So please change your Slack display name to match your OmniCampus account name.

And then, the office hours. We host regular office hours. Office hours are not mandatory, but they are designed to help you solve your problems. So if you have any questions about ZCI Award, um, please feel free to join them and ask your questions. Also, many former outstanding students will host office hours. You can, I think you can listen to um, very interesting stories from them, so I recommend you to recommend you that you join the office hours from the outstanding students. The schedules of them are shown on the calendar in the student guide. So please check the calendar and join them.

And next, I want to introduce the universities based on the retention rate. We'll choose universities to visit for session seven and 14 according to this retention rate. I'm sorry, my pronunciation is bad. But yes, congratulations. And um, the list of the ranking is like this.

Okay, I think a lot of students have joined now. So let's start today's lecture. Today's instructor is me. My name is Rimur Anaka and I am a teaching assistant of the Matsumoto Iwasawa Lab. And I am a second-year medical student in Japan and I completed ZCI last year. I host my office hours every Friday. So if you have questions, please feel free to join my office hours.

Let's recap the last lecture. In the last lecture, we learned about NumPy. NumPy is a method used for complex, calculate complex computations in Python. For example, we learned about ND array, universal functions, broadcasting.

And this is the overview of today's lecture. We will learn about Pandas to clean the data. Even though watching, even though here watching lecture video and doing interactive hands-on exercise are listed separately, we want to go back and forth between them. So between them and after we watch the part of the lecture, we will um, we will answer some questions. So please listen carefully.

And in this course road map, today's lecture three is here in the basics. Today's goal is to learn about how to process table data using Pandas.
