So, in the greatest season of your life, if you will take responsibility. Just look around the world of sports. The stars at all levels are young folks. Most of them not married yet, 'cause I'm not in the age of marriage. [music] Yet they win Olympic gold medals, and a child shall lead them. Now we have authors who are 16, and a child shall lead them. We are seeing who are 15, and a child shall lead them. [music] Stop playing baby. Don't waste away your destiny. And a child shall lead. Our last daughter, with two others, wrote their first book, "White and Secondary School." And a child shall lead them. A child shall lead them. [music] Stop being a crying baby. They are not called queens by accolade. It's a covenant. Start taking queenly steps. Start taking royal steps, and a child shall lead.
I was 16 when I knew I'd be redeemed as a priest and a king to reign on the earth. Not to reign in heaven, but laying on the earth first. And that got true to me that I will ask myself at any time, "Will a king do this?" No. "David, stop it. Will a king shout on the street?" No. "Will a king get into a fight?" No. And a child shall lead them. "Will a king dress like this?" No. And a child [music] shall lead them. I was 16. And a child shall lead them.
It's commonly said, "Early to bed, early to rise." Zero. Al to rise. Al to shine. Al to rise. Al to shine. "A little folding of the hands to sleep." Your poverty will come as a man. I wonder about. [music] Al to rise and take responsibility. Alle to shine. I let it to rise. I to shine. Your destiny is too precious. Be a wonderer like we are told. [music] Too precious. Too precious. I was 16 when I heard, "It is good for a young man that he bears his yoke in his youth." Lamentations 3:27. What are you looking for? Lamentations. [music] I was studying my Bible. I was told when I knew that toying with something that's not your own, being friend [clears throat] will cut short your lifespan, as the lay eggs and hatches to a man that gets bit and not by right he shall live in the midst of his days. At the end, he shall be a fool. I was 20 years when I had that no one ever arises at the future he's not prepared for. Joan became great because he prepared his ways before the Lord is come. Life is not a race of chance. You live your life to chance, you don't have a chance. You live your life to chance, you don't have a chance. Four weeks too much to make something on you out of your life. Four weeks too much. Four weeks too much. Four weeks too much to go through a kind of situation like this without having an idea of what your future holds. By standing before the Lord, "Where am I heading for? What's your plan for me?" It's not correct. [music]
I was 23 when I heard, "Your future is not [music] in your plan. Your future is in my plan." So I began to say, "God, your plan only. Your plan ever. Your plan only. Your plan ever." [snorts] I wasn't going to ministry. That's not part of my plan. I just love Jesus. I'll go anywhere, any length to serve Him. [music] Or going to miss was not part of my thought because I've learned that His plan is what was my future. I joyfully, willingly, exactly surrendered, and I have no regret for it. If you go through here as going through a public school, you have wasted your time. [music] God wants the best out of you. That's why He brought you here. And your parents had to pay the way to me. That's why do some scholarship, no scholarship to be here. [music] You have a great future, don't sell off. You have an awesome future, don't sell off. You are too much for teenage pregnancy. No, it's an abuse of destiny. Kids don't wait on wine. So being on alcohol at this age of your life, coming from here, is an insult, an insult. [music] We came here at this morning responsibility. We just closed whatever one night with the king early this morning. I'm coming all the way again. I want the best out of your life. [music] Jesus wants it. The best of the best. The reason we are all here, those of you [music] may this break be the best of your experience in life, where you will set yourself apart to meddle with wisdom. Meddle with wisdom. Put some book projects in place. I read, I read, I read a few things. I read a few things. Read a few things. I go after subjects of interest to me that will help me secure the future that I was looking at. [music]
I was once with the president, and he said to me, "You know, it's so difficult to know what your exact discipline is. Every subject you bring something most valuable to you." [music] You are sighting. If you can just think a bit that those who founded education were not themselves educated. So why should what they are teaching you be difficult? So you can spend this time to demystify your areas of difficulty. You can demystify, demystify. [music] Michael Faraday, in the sciences, had only two years primary education. He read himself through to might, the giant of science. Wake up. Wake up. Life is not about chatting Instagram. You know all the devil just hanging around your life. Can I tell you what I just found out this week as I tuned into my mentor's page, uh, Kenneth Copeland? He read newspaper last 56 years ago. How many years? 56. Now that I knew it, I just knew it last week. 56. I read newspaper. I bought newspaper last 1993. 1993. What am I doing there to now sit down with telephone and settle down as if it's a profession? All this shows you don't have a plan. You are not thinking of your future. You're not programming yourself for progress. The destination is not all valuable to you. Wake up. Wake up. I've never been out anywhere in my life without people knowing where I went to, where where I was going, when I'm coming back. Everybody knows. For you not to be located, if he's hunting for your life, they ask, "Where are you?" "We don't know where he is." That's where he goes at every day. "When is he coming back?" "Ah, maybe tomorrow." Is that life? Is that dignity? Is that self-respect? Is that honorable? Can I tell you some mysteries? I wrote the book "Miracle Seed" in 5 days. Wrote and edited, published. I wrote "Praying to Get Results" in two days. "Praying to Get Results," two days. A small book. >> [music] >> This is the best season of your life. Not only to develop capacity, to demonstrate capacity, to demonstrate capacity, and a child shall live. One of the greatest kings in the Old Testament was 16 years old when he began to reign. [music] His friends went abroad, all the earth. Uzziah, he was 16 years when he began to reign. Most of us are more than 16. He had no Bible. The Holy Spirit was not here. He only came to visit and go and go. That is living in you. You have all the potentials in the world loaded inside you. Then to now waste it away and go for 4 weeks without checking on anything that life and say, "What's going on? I'm doing Christmas." [music] Only a serious approach guarantees a glorious result. There is no free lunch in life. There is no free lunch in life. There is no free lunch in life. I met a young chap years ago. He was studying political science in Europe. And then when he was discussing the politics of Europe, you are looking at the potential prime ministers. Depth, depth, depth. People just about balloon visions. They're not doing anything to make it a reality. Nothing. Nothing to make it a reality. Nothing. But that's not you. Something has changed just now. Your perspective has changed just now. [music]
>> Here is the process. "Unto us a child is born. Unto us a son is given. And the government shall be upon the shoulders of the son on the child." Isaiah 9:6. So we develop from [music] childhood to sonship, to take our place. That is a personal responsibility. No one can exercise yourself for you to excel in sports. You have [music] to do it. A great coach does not make a star. It is the commitment, the dedication, the discipline of the sportsman that determines who becomes a star. The coach has coached quite many. Only one or two emerge as stars. What happened to them? They got the same instructions, but different responses. Different responses. Will you respond to these things? Now, the future of this nation and the country where you may have come from [music] has a place for you if you will care to develop your God-given capacity. Has a place for you. Essenti he bitterly afterwards. There was no space for repentance. No one will weep at the end of the day. No [music] one will suffer regret in life. No one will suffer regret in life. No one will bring shame and report to their parents. No one will bring heartbreak to their parents by taking responsibility. By taking responsibility. Christ came as a baby. Every giant began his journey that way. Luke 2:12: "Shall find the babe in raveling clothes." Also in verse 16: "And they came with haste and found Mary and Joseph and the babe." The Messiah came down as a baby. So it's not it's the process. The process. We all start our journey as babies. No one began as an adult. No one began as a giant. Even the man that has six fingers, I mean six six fingers on each hand and six toes on each leg, was born a baby. Everybody began as a baby and began naked. People walked their way to be clothed. [music] You won't live your life in nakedness. And then they saw the child. Luke 2:14: "And the child grew." [music] The child grew. You can't become a son without growing. And the child [music] grew. And the child grew. "And walk strong in spirit, filled with wisdom. And the grace of God was upon him." [music] Wisdom is a function of knowledge. Applying knowledge is wisdom. So he's committed to knowledge. He was found sitting among doctors and lawyers, both hearing them and asking him questions. So he grew from a baby to a child, from a child to an adolescent. Luke 2:47-49: He was 12 years when they went to Jerusalem, adolescent. And he said, "Don't I should be about my father's business?" God expects you to locate your business early. Early to rise, early to shine, early. At 12, he knew. At 12, he knew. Some of us came late. At 12, he knew. [music] At 12, he knew. "Don't you think I must be about my father's business?" And then when he began to be 30, my God, he became a young adult. "This is my well-beloved son, in whom I am well pleased." Luke 3:21-23. Became a young adult. And then in Luke chapter 9, he became a son with authority. A son with authority. "Hear ye him." Luke 9:35. "Hear ye him." So there's a developmental procedure. You just go through it. Don't jump the accuser. So if you want to, there's no way to develop it in future. Amen. I can't go into sports anymore. It's late. [music] No one will leave me. I'm no longer trainable. If that is my dream, the dream is lost forever. Lost forever. I can't imagine astronaut anymore. I'm too old for it. [music] You're not enlistable after 20. So, how can I become one? I can't rewind my age. Don't sell off your tomorrow. Wake up on time and lay hold of it. Make it work. Thank you, Jesus. Make it work. From a babe to a young child, to an adolescent, to a young adult, and then to a son with authority. The government shall rest upon his shoulder. In Galatians chapter 4, we are told that and here when is a child is not even from a servant under governance and tutors until the time appointed of the father. [music] Is he grown enough to be confirmed with authority? No. Can he be trusted with authority? No, he's too loose. He's too careless. No commitment to self-development. No commitment. No commitment. Capacity building. No commitment. Please take responsibility. Your life is precious. The world has a place for you. God has ordained a place for you. Don't sell off. Your future is bright. Your future is gorgeous. Don't sell off.
Now, a round-up. Spirituality is the anchor of every great destiny. The anchor is security. "To be spiritually minded is life and peace." Carnally minded is death. No believer has a future greater than his spiritual stance. Where you stand in God determines your place on earth. "I wish above all things," third John verse two, "that thou mayest prosper and be in health even as thy soul prospereth." Even as thy soul. So the prosperity, your spiritual prosperity, is what defines your overall prosperity in life. Pay attention, sir. Pay attention. I call it the alternative knowledge. Pay attention. Be committed to enhancing the quality of your work with God. It confers security on your path. Your destiny is at rest in God. The enemy looks at you and walks away because they can't do anything about your life. Pay attention. Pay attention. As someone brought to me years ago, PhD from Harvard, but off, off mentally, off mentally, off. But when you key into Jesus, He shields you from all sorts of the wicked. "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the Lord is my strength, my buckler, whom I with. Surely deliver me from the noise some pestilence." There are noisome pestilences. The wicked has agents all around the world. They just hate to see you laugh. Take cover in Christ. Take over in Christ. Take over in Christ. Before this kind of devices came in, I I counted 33 Bibles I've used in my life. When I say I've used, I've used it. We not find where to mark much. My God. Otherwise, I would have been out of the face of the earth by reason of the angry attack of the wicked. Thank God for security in Christ. Please take over. Take over. Take over. Take over. Take over. There are those who came through here. You can't even tell that they went through here anymore. You can't tell. They just lost out. Everything upside down 'cause they won't take responsibility. Can I say this in closing? Your destiny is in your hand. [clears throat] Do what you please with it. Your destiny is right in your hand. Do what you please with it. [music] Whatever gives you a good grade in one course shows that to get the same grade in other courses. It is your interest and commitment that determines where you find yourself. >> [music] >> It's the same brain that you need for any course. Why must you be flying in one and crying in another one? I knew by myself in year two, no, this is not the way to go. So I gathered these materials called African Writer Series, Tolu, Saffron, Quincy, Lei. I began to read to find out how these folks are putting words together. There I found out that Tolu was a mechanical engineer. One man, Chief Honorable Minister, I mean by [music] and then "Pray the Bill of Country" by Alan P. I read those things and before [music] I was through, I became a wordsmith. I could put words together with ease, without struggles. I can pick a subject under any condition in 5 minutes to the time and speak to it. I saw my weakness. [music] I moved in to address it. How can you at this age see your weakness and believing with it and living with it? It's your turn, [music] sir. Three days can make, three days can make a world of difference in a man's life, just to sit and call yourself back to order. The step I'm taking, where is he leading me to? Is he leading me to where I want to go or lead me anywhere? He takes me nowhere I want to go. Praise God. You get home and somebody come and let's go out to where is anywhere, and then you went out to anywhere. Out. You have no business. [music] You have no business. [music]
May I therefore counsel, have a timetable for your life. The time to develop spiritual capacity. The time to check on your programs and see where you are not performing and settle down, work on it. And very importantly, we have diverse conferences going on at this time. Plug into one and let understanding be enlarged on the things of God. It will add color to every aspect of you. I was in a conference when I was 16. "God is not slow" was my takeaway. [music] "God is not slow." It got me baptism of patience about life. All this make 2 million in one minute is the devil. I've not seen anybody that won a lottery in life and made any hell out of it. Every lottery ends up with mockery. Any labor for one last, anything labor for one last look. I was 16 when I heard, "God is not slow." Take it easy. God is not slow. God is not slow. I used to live in one room. Am I in one room today? No. 22 people using the same toilet. 22 people using the same toilet. You line up to take your turn. Was having a good time. But even the church building, when the church started in Kaduna, church building, one toilet for the entire church. The entire church [music] is how many? 10, 15, 21, and then 100. We're still in that place. God is not slow. Hurry always leads to horror. God is not slow. [music] Stop attempting to jump the queue. God is not slow. You're starting a business and then you're looking for a brand new car to do what? What's your capital? [music] He doesn't have a capital. He's looking for a car. You know, public image these days. In this days of great deception, deception. Who should you listen to? People with proofs of what they are teaching. People with what? Proofs. There are many self-tied pastors in town. They have no proof and anything they are saying. They're just blowing grammar. Ba ba ba. There is no track record of what they are talking about. [music] They don't, they're not worth your audience. They're not worth your audience. Follow them. The Bible says, "Don't mislead them through faith and patience. Inherit." There must be proof of what they are saying. I follow people with proof till now. My life has no proof. I chose people who have put the word to work in that world, and I have no regret for it. Your children will be great in your lifetime. So let's be careful. There are so much demonic things coming to the world. We've never had this kind of trouble before. Demonic things. Europe just announced that you can't bring America here. Olympic is coming. We don't take anyone who has transited from one sex to another. No. What kind of devilish transition? Don't fly. So not everything white is right. No. There are many crazy things going on there. Many. May your own son all come home one day and bring another son as a wife. May your own daughter not come home one day bring another woman as the husband. >> Thank you Jesus. Thank you Jesus. [music]
So over to you, your destiny is right in your hand. Yeah, we are covenant. We have no funny input whatsoever, either financially or manually. None. And it's working. What makes it work is within you. Is within you. It's not in one country or another. It's within you. Many of you imagine as great solution providers in this nation, >> great solution providers in Africa. Then what we celebrate the day you are born as you wake up to take responsibility early. You have a great future. You have a great future. You have a great future. You have a great future. No devil will pry into your destiny. >> No devil make a mismat of your life >> in the name of Jesus. Now wait, you'll be married for all your life by the grace of God. So what is the holy form? Advise yourself. Speak to yourself. [music] Why am I with my eyes open heading for horror? Adjust yourself. What am I looking for? Borrowing at this stage of my life. Won't you become a lifestyle? [music] Can I keep on deceiving my parents like this? Do I want my children to deceive me tomorrow? Speak to yourself. [music] I met some drug [music] folks in one place. I went to minister to them. They were smoking in their hemp. Everything was smelling. [music] And I said, "Hello, wait a minute. Do you want your children to be like this?" They said, "No." "Do you want your children to be like this?" He said no. "Why are you doing?" Said, "We don't know." So that's why I came. I came to let you know the devil is the one manipulating your life. This is not the way a normal human being should live. [music] Amen. But you know, you know you have been taught to now abandon what you have learned and keep going for what is wrong is still a mystery. I want to see you return on fire for God. She will return enlightened. >> She will return more disciplined. >> She will return more orderly. She will return as a man and woman of purpose. >> In the name of Jesus, your tomorrow is great. >> My prayer is that you will go beyond where any of us will stop >> by following the protocols of development and enjoying every stage of it. As you take responsibility, stand to your feet. Give the Lord a big hand of praise. [applause] Amen. I got on a project recently. We call it "From the Archives." Treasures from the archives of David Oedu. They are my diaries, minings, excavations from my diaries [music] over the years. If they not find them, try to document your findings. At the age of 12. Ask God for grace. Everybody that this Christmas holiday will be the best of your experience in life to separate yourself to develop yourself in areas of your weaknesses. Develop your spiritual life. [music] Grace to say no to what destroys and yes to what divides. Take that grace. Grace to detest sin and every evil. Grace to be free from every youthful lust. Take it. Take it. Grace not to be a concern but a blessing. Take it. Grace to arrive home or wherever you are going to any of your relations or your guardians to say a clear difference that a new you is here. Take that grace. Grace to be free from every form of hypocrisy and face life as an adventure of reality. Take it from the Lord right now. Take it from the Lord right now. Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. Who was the joy that was set before Him? Paid the price. And today, start of majesty on high. Thank you Jesus. Amen. >> I pray that no time will be lost in your life this time. >> You are returning back here a blessing. All your friends will know something has turned because you will catch new fire. You are not returning with any disease in your body. A clean health bill. Everyone carrying any form of terminal disease, SS, whatever it is, [music] cancer, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the one that has special specialty in dealing with all manner of sickness and all manner of disease, I curse those diseases from the roots. Every one of you that is on on this campus today, no one will be carried away dead. >> No one will be reported dead. You are going in peace. You are returning with testimonies in the precious name of Jesus. So shall it be. Every of your steps throughout this season shall be divinely guided. You will not make a wrong trip. You will not go with the wrong company. No one shall become a victim of the evils of the day. In the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. The good news about Shilo is that it holds across the nation. It holds across the nation and so and holds across the nations of the world. We're in 146 nations today. Amen. So you can always plug in to be part of [music] the keys that will help you through hard times that will hit the entire world, not some part. A time is coming when there will be no nation to run into. I've been saying that for a long time. The time is coming when people say, "Okay, go back to your nation. You have enough trouble here. How do I triumph and thrive?" I saw times when it shall be to your Israel. Get to know what to do to ride the storms and then you'll be smiling on the sea.
