We often hear calls to speed up lymph, improve outflow, do lymph drainage, get the water moving. Everyone understands that we are talking about the lymphatic [music] system. We have heard a lot about it, but few understand what it actually is and how it works. [music] And even in the medical community, this has only been understood recently, only in this century. So let's look at what lies behind speeding up lymph. Is it necessary to do this and how not to harm yourself? I will show what actually works, what doesn't work, and together with you, we will do a technique that reduces swelling of the body and face. [music] Why is lymph needed? It has four tasks. Very simple. First – to maintain fluid balance, [music] if it weren't for the ability of your lymph system to collect interstitial fluid [music] from tissues, your body would be one continuous swelling, like a bubble, a water balloon. The second task is immune. Lymph carries immune cells, lymphocytes, and delivers them to lymph nodes. Third – it is the transport of fats. Everything fatty you eat enters the bloodstream not directly, but through lymph. And the fourth function – the removal of cellular waste. The lymphatic system collects, well, conditional garbage from tissues and delivers it to the blood. This is the first link of detoxification. And then the liver and kidneys take over the work. The lymphatic system does not have its own central pump, a heart, to pump it. Instead, it has three other pumps. The first is the walls of the lymphatic vessels themselves, which can contract and push lymph. The second pump is external – it is the contraction of skeletal muscles, well, pure biomechanics. And the third is the diaphragm. On a deep inhale, it lowers and creates a pressure difference. And this literally, well, let's say, sucks in lymph like a vacuum cleaner. And understanding this, we can finally answer the question: how can we help our lymph move better? How can we speed it up? And the first, obvious thing is movement is life. Any load, walking, running, swimming, physical activity causes your muscles to contract and push lymph. The second way, which is rarely talked about, is working on posture. The largest lymphatic vessel, the thoracic duct. It carries 75% of all lymph. It is located along the spine. And with stooping, postural disorders, it is compressed. And this is where swelling begins. If you want to get rid of swelling, for example, of the face, then focus on opening the chest, working with the muscles of the back and neck. This is why those who practice re-toning notice, well, simply colossal changes in their face. Swelling disappears, facial features become more defined, and, by the way, humps on the shoulders disappear, the back becomes more elegant. And often, by the way, without any change in weight. And third, my favorite, deep diaphragmatic breathing. If you have swelling, then the exercise we will do is a must-have. Learning to breathe correctly is one of the most powerful tools for lymph movement. And now we will do a technique. You need a fabric belt for it. But if you don't have one, just place your hands on your lower ribs. What do we do? Inhale [music] into your waist or into your hands and exhale. And with each inhale and exhale, assess the quality and amplitude of muscle contraction, not just under your hands, but across the entire [music] diameter, well, of the conditional belt. Front, back, sides. Everything should be very even. And don't worry if you don't feel the movement of your ribs or it's only slightly noticeable on one side, [music] over time your breathing will contribute to the movements becoming even, well, and free, [music] and amplitudinous. If in the first stage we were just breathing, now we are taking maximum inhales and exhales [music] and increasing the amplitude of rib movements in front and behind. If you have [music] a belt, help yourself with your hands. You tighten it firmly and [music] loosen the buckle. If you are working with your hands, then on exhalation [music] gently press on the ribs. Feel how intensely [music] the entire muscular corset works along the entire diameter. Again, not just [music] in front, along the entire diameter. Release the feeling of heaviness, [music] tightness. Just allow this area to open up, to bloom. Essentially, this is a motor re-education technique. [music] We remind our body that rib movements [music] can be wide and amplitudinous. What is this technique for? [music] It increases the excursion of the diaphragm, the vital capacity [music] of the lungs. Diaphragmatic breathing literally changes the pressure difference in the thoracic and abdominal cavities. [music] And this literally, well, I don't know how to say it, sucks lymph differently [music] into the thoracic duct. How long to perform the technique? Approximately 1-2 minutes. And it is, you must admit, very pleasant, [music] very calming. And if you have any questions about this technique, [music] write in the comments, I will definitely answer everyone. We have already understood that we need to master posture techniques, master diaphragmatic breathing perfectly. All this will speed up lymph flow. And, by the way, if you start to feel dizzy during this technique, it's nothing serious, just take a break. It's absolutely normal. A few minutes break and then you can breathe again, for example, while watching this episode. And in general, friends, it must be said that fluids in our body have a colossal impact on our youth and energy. And if you have swelling, then you simply need to understand this issue more deeply. Very soon my free master class will take place. It will be dedicated to [laughter] speeding up fluids in the body. Lymph, blood, interstitial fluid. We will make all this move correctly and at full power, and the results will be, as they say, visible. I conduct this master class only once a year, so don't delay. There will be a sea of practice. The link is in the description. And now, friends, the benevolent scientific note ends, because next I will be a hag and scold folk art, superstitions, and grandmother's recipes for speeding up lymph that are circulating on the internet. I have reviewed many YouTube videos on this topic and want to analyze six very strange ways people, as they say, speed up lymph. Let's start with the first. Many say that if you speed up lymph, then toxins and waste, all the garbage is thrown into the intestines, and you need to catch them urgently. And therefore, you need to take sorbents, and in double, and some recommend in quadruple doses. But this is the apogee of the Middle Ages, because lymph, friends, does not remove toxins. it doesn't have this function, it is, let's say, a courier. The liver and kidneys filter everything, and no sorbent is needed for them, it won't do their job for them. But high doses of sorbents, scientifically proven, can very realistically disrupt the absorption of vitamins and minerals. In general, detox, I beg you. Second. They often advise: "Want to speed up lymph, go for lymph drainage massages." And poor women really go, spend money, get, well, I don't know, 5% efficiency, because remember the theory we talked about. While you are lying on the massage table, your muscles are not working, but 30 minutes of brisk walking will give you incomparably more than this hour on the table. Therefore, just go outside, take a walk, it's free, and it definitely works. The third misconception is to believe that hardware lymph drainage procedures speed up lymph. Well, okay. But here it is important to understand the principle. All this initiates mechanical movement of fluid. That is, you were rubbed with this device, the fluid, well, let's say, shifted, moved, and you stopped going for these procedures. Everything returned. Therefore, you can do facial hardware massage indefinitely, but it gives no long-term effect, because you need to systematically work on your posture if you don't want to swell. Fourth. Detox teas and various lymphatic supplements. tea for weight loss. I'll say right away that neither tea nor any biologically active supplement directly affects lymph. And diuretic herbs, which are often part of these collections, they, on the contrary, remove fluid from the body through the kidneys, and this has nothing to do with lymph flow. Moreover, a diuretic effect can lead to dehydration, but this will naturally worsen the viscosity of fluids and hinder their movement. Well, as they say, what you fought for, you got. Fifth misconception is various detoxes, fasting, very strict diets for lymph cleansing. Guys, I've said it a thousand times and I repeat: any protein deficiency reduces the oncotic pressure in blood plasma and leads to protein-free edema. Fasting can move your water for a few days, but it will also trigger other types of edema. Another strange advice, sixth. Jumping on a trampoline as the main lymph drainage agent. Yes, one can understand that the gravitational load changes, but this is partially true. Vertical accelerations – when the body flies up and then lands – really help lymph movement. But a trampoline has no particular advantage over regular running, regular walking, or, for example, swimming. And these are scientific facts. It's just one type of physical activity and nothing more. Let's summarize. To awaken our lymph system, we don't need any expensive detox programs, [music] but basic human things are needed. And if you want more, to remove swelling, [music] restore facial clarity, feel lightness and energy in your body, come to my free master class. Again, there will be a lot of practice. You will see the first changes during the broadcast, so don't delay, [music] register using the link below this video. I'm waiting for everyone. Thank you for your attention and see you next time.
