We are going to officially make a change here for the S tier of our playoff rankings wide receivers. Um, for quite some time we've had JSN, Puganua, and Jamar Chase all in the S tier. I don't think anybody comes close to JSN or Pukanua though. I mean, these guys have been so damn good where if you're looking at Jackson Smith and Jigba since week five, yes, week five, that's about two and a half months ago, he's had one game with fewer than 20 fantasy points.
Going over and looking at Puka Nua, he has been incredible with the blowup game this past week. 167 receiving yards, multiple receiving touchdowns, and that was not even his best game this year. I will say with Puka though and with JSN, they're going to have a tough matchup playing against each other in week 16.
Going over to Jamar Chase, Jamar actually maybe has a better schedule. He just hasn't seen the same level production with Joe Burrow under center in comparison to what you had with Joe Flackle. Like you really did have those three games against the Lions, the Packers, and the Steelers in weeks 5 through 7, skewing the data that you've had for Chase this year. Like Chase over the past three games has actually not clipped 20 fantasy points, but he is currently the number one wide receiver in the league in targets per game. So I still think Jamar Chase very easily could be the wide receiver one the final three weeks here.
Now a massive L that I have to take from this past week is I had thought Aman Ross St. Brown was going to miss time. A Monroe St. Brown in week 13 had the ankle sprain at the beginning of the game. I thought he was going to be missing for two plus weeks. He plays literally the next game against the Dallas Cowboys. Obviously, a little bit banged up against Dallas, but I'm going to assume that St. Brown is 100% good to go against the Los Angeles Rams in week 15. And if you remove that game against the Green Bay Packers where he left early with that ankle sprain with zero fantasy points, St. Brown's arguably giving you the highest floor of any wide receiver not in the S tier this year.
Going over to Rashid Rice, I know that there are going to be a lot of emotional people that want Rice much lower than this because the Kansas City Chiefs looked very, very bad against the Houston Texans on Sunday night. Rasheed Rice dropped that big ball at the end of the game, but Rasheed Rice still had eight targets. Rasheed Rice this season is still averaging 19.7 points per game. This team is still in the playoff hunt. So, I don't think they're going to let the foot off the gas for the fantasy playoffs here. So, yeah, I'm just going right back to the well with Rasheed Rice. I think Rice is going to absolutely crush.
And then we will have George Pickkins. George Pickkins was also very disappointing on Thursday night against the Detroit Lions in a game in which CD Lamb left early with the concussion. I am making this ranking under the assumption that CD Lamb is going to miss this next week and then play week 16 and 17. Do I have anything to base this off of? No. The only thing I have to base this off of is it looked pretty nasty the concussion that CD Lamb suffered on Thursday night, but he has 10 days to recover. So, there is a nonzero percent chance that Lamb is back this week. And if that were to occur, then honestly, I probably would need to go ahead and move Pickins down and move Lamb up these ranks.
Then Nico Collins is going to be the wide receiver one for my own fantasy team. I really like the floor that Nico Collins gives you with the target volume, the receiving yards, the receptions. What's actually crazy here with Nico is that over the past six games, you've had at least 14 and a half fantasy points in five of them. He's been at least the top 24 wide receiver in five of them and he's only scored one touchdown. So, if the touchdowns are there soon, I'm going to be a lot more excited. Week 15, we get a great matchup against the Arizona Cardinals. Sadly, I'm not going to be able to take up this matchup because I have a by-week for my own team.
Then, Devonte Adams will be our next receiver. Devonte Adams was disappointing in week 14, but we know who Devonte Adams is at this point. Devonte Adams in weeks seven through 13. Let me do some quick little math in my head here. I believe if this math is correct, he has scored 11 touchdowns in six games. He was almost averaging two receiving touchdowns per game in his six game stretch. So, of course, efficiency is eventually going to hit. Um, if you're looking at this next week against the Detroit Lions in week 15, possibly is the highest scoring game of the week.
Then going over to CD Lamb, my ranking of CD Lamb here is operating under the assumption that he misses this week with the concussion, comes back in weeks 16 and 17 where presumably he will be a top five option for me in my ranks.
Now, moving over to Drake London. Um, I have a very difficult time ranking him right now because I thought London was going to have a shot to come back this week and it seemed like he wasn't close to coming back. He wasn't practicing at all. Now he's missed three games straight. The next three weeks he plays at Tampa, at Arizona, and against the Los Angeles Rams. I'm ranking London here as if he has a very real shot to come back this week. And if he's not back this week, he's back week 16.
Um, T. Higgins flying up these ranks now that you have Joe Burrow back in town. Um, if you are looking at Higgins missing week 13 with a concussion, not predictive of future injuries and the target volume has looked very good in the last four games that he has played. He's sitting here averaging about eight targets per game and the touchdowns are there as well. And pretty good matchups. You get Miami and Arizona week 16 and 17.
AJ Brown, we'll have to see what he does in the game tonight. Then obviously I'll update these rankings for y'all in the live stream after the game. But back-to-back games where AJ Brown's been incredible finishing as the top five wide receiver, 25 plus fantasy points, and he's actually at least 10 targets in three straight contest.
Um, Tedoy McMillan was just on by, but it does look like Bryce Young is getting better. And with Tedo McMillan, he's had four straight games with double-digit fantasy points and obviously the big blow up that he had against the Atlanta Falcons and three straight games with receiving touchdowns.
Um Chris Ave disappointing this past week, but I still want to believe that Ave is the number one wide receiver for this New Orleans Saints team. Even dealing with this back injury, I think he's going to have a ton of volume. Now, an issue that I'm going to have, of course, with the Saints offense is I'm going to assume that's not a great offense.
Now, Jaylen Wadd is the wide receiver, two, for my own fantasy team. So, I'm very much hoping that he's going to perform quite well. It does seem like Wadd's uh touchdown or bust wide receiver at this point where he's going to get six, seven, eight targets any given week. And if he scores a touchdown, he's great. If he doesn't score a touchdown, he's very disappointing. Um I would hate to have him as my wide receiver one, but wide receiver two, I'm fine with it. you do get that really strong matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals in week 16.
Now, going over to Devonta Smith, Devon Smith averaging 13 fantasy points per game. He was actually the wide receiver one for the Philadelphia Eagles early in the season, but then obviously this past week, you do have AJ Brown taking that massive leap forward and jumping him in points per game.
Um, Jameson Williams I thought was going to be the next league winner with the Aman Raw St. Brown injury. Um, J Mo still has performed incredibly well and seeing more volume over the past few weeks than he's had in his entire NFL career. And I previously viewed J Mo as a boom bust flex option. That would be very difficult to call him a must start name. But that's the way that he's trending towards.
Now, moving over to Justin Jefferson. Actually, we can't get to Jefferson yet. We're going to have to put Lad Maki here. Another thing that I got wrong with these rankings this past week that I'm having to update is I thought Justin Herbert was going to be missing time with his injury. And it looks like Herbert's going to miss a total of zero games. And with that in mind, obviously we're going to be a lot more excited about the passing volume in Los Angeles. Now, that being said, it's not like Vlad Manki has been great. He's fallen from 15 fantasy points per game as a rookie down to 13 in his second season.
Then Justin Jefferson will be our wide receiver 19. Justin Jefferson so far this year, I mean, has been unbelievably bad. Over the past five weeks, he has scored 10 fantasy points one time, and that was 11 points. This past week, the Minnesota Vikings dropped 31 points, and Justin Jefferson still wasn't usable because Josh Oliver was the guy. Like, it's unbelievable how bad he has been. I'm gonna have a very difficult time ranking them lower than this though because I personally am an idiot. That's why I have to wear this freaking thing on my head for this one last video. Um, and I can't rank Justin Jefferson in the 20s physically. It would pain me. And again, I'm just not mentally tough enough to do it.
Now, Michael Wilson is steaming up and nobody is rooting for Michael Wilson more than I am. I'll just go ahead and pull this up for y'all. But if I am looking at my underdog baseball exposures, which my teams are absolutely crushing it right now, and a big reason why is if I sort by entry fees, my most drafted wide receivers this year, Quinton Johnson one, he was going wide receiver 79. Immaculate. Xavier Legette 2, he was going as wide receiver 63. Total bum. Devont Smith 3, he was going as the wide receiver 29. Immaculate. And then Michael Wilson four. Michael Wilson was my fourth most invested into wide receiver this year at the cost of wide receiver 80. So you better believe I am very happy that he was the wide receiver one overall in week 11, wide receiver one overall in week 14, and you better believe that I'm printing cash because of it.
Now, I also very much faded Marvin Harrison. Um, but with that in mind, I can't sit here and tell you for certainty that Marv's not going to come back and Marv's not going to be the wide receiver one. I hope he doesn't. I hope this um heel injury lasts for quite some time for Marvin Harrison and we just can rank Michael Wilson as a top 10 wide receiver every week that Marv's out. But Marv may come back and we can just go back to last week when Marv did play. Michael Wilson scored 6.6 fantasy points. It's a night and day difference if you have Marvin in this offense verse not.
Now Wandell Robinson's going to be our next name. Wandell safe target volume with a Malik Neighbors injury. He's had eight targets in the last six games that he's played.
Um going over to Courtland Sutton. Looks like the wide receiver one for Bo Knicks. Really tough matchups though where you have to play against the Green Bay Packers in week 15 and then you have to play at Kansas City in the championship week.
Z Flower is trending in the right direction. Obviously, he's just so dependent on Lamar Jackson and what the passing volume is for this offense, but ultimately at the end of the day, it's going to be difficult to be excited about Flowers knowing that he has not scored a touchdown since week one.
Now, moving over to E tier, we're going to be led off with DK Mechaf. I have DK Mechaf on my own fantasy team. Maybe I am being a little too optimistic here based off the really strong performance that we had this past week. Sees a season high 12 targets, season high 148 receiving yards. Some pretty good matchups in the coming weeks as well against Miami and at Detroit where those games should be relatively high scoring.
Um Stefon Diggs obviously was much better when you add no Kan Booty in New England. Over the past two weeks, Diggs has scored four and 5.6 fantasy points, but you do get the revenge game against Buffalo this next week, which obviously we saw earlier in the season. Stefon Diggs have a season high 12 targets, 10 receptions, 146 receiving yards, and 24 and a half fantasy points. All of which were season highs for him.
Mcbuka will be our next name. Ibuka has turned to crap. Like I he's turned into egg cuckoo. I I don't even know. I'm an idiot. But um the volume is still there, but the efficiency has gone down the drain. Like if you look at what he has done week six onwards, he has had one game with double digit fantasy points, he's still seeing so much volume and he's still averaging 13.3 fantasy points per game this year that I want to give him the benefit of the doubt. But dear God.
Um Christian Watson has been great. Like over the past two weeks, he's finished as a top 12 wide receiver back to back. And over the past four weeks, he's finished as a top 12 wide receiver three times. Now, with that being said, it's all off of touchdowns, not off of volume whatsoever. Like, realistically, he's had 26 targets and five touchdowns over the past month. That is going to go downwards. And you have Jaden Reed as well back in this offense taking work and just spreading it out even more.
Um, Terry McLaren, Debo Samuel will be our next two names. Um, if you're looking at both these Washington players, it it's over. Like I I don't know if I'm overreacting because how bad they were this past week. They got shut out and lost 31 by 31 points to JJ McCarthy. You have a tough match up against Philly in week 16, but you do get a great matchup against the Dallas Cowboys in week 17.
Michael Pitman Jr. I drafted in a ton of basketball drafts. I really hope he's better than this. He's been great this year. The holdup I'm going to have with Pitman though is you now have a no-name quarterback under center. You have a really tough matchup this week against the Seattle Seahawks where I would assume the Indianapolis Colts are double digit dogs. So the Indianapolis Colts options sadly have to get nuked.
Mike Evans is going to be our next player. I mean it's crazy. Mike Evans got dropped in my fantasy league. I had an open injured reserve slot and I still was not smart enough to be the guy to pick up Mike Evans for God knows why. Like I complete laps in judgment because Mike Evans could come out here, he could crush in week 15 and then turn into a player that you're very excited about starting in weeks 16 and 17. Now, please do not start him this week. It's just going to be way too risky. But if he plays this week, it's going to give you a great idea on what you're doing in the semifinals and the finals.
Um, Garrett Wilson, the report came out saying that he is probably going to come back this season, but again, when they tell us he's going to come back this year, we don't know if that means he's coming back in week 18 for a single game. Marvin Harrison, I'm not a Marv guy whatsoever. It, in my mind, is very clear that Michael Wilson is the better wide receiver between the two. But if Marv comes back, he's the guy with all the draft capital. He's the guy that they invested into, and you could see Marv being the wide receiver one again.
Now, dropping down to our F tier, you had Brian Thomas leading the Jacksonville Jaguars and receiving this past week, but um Jacobe Meyers is the guy leading them in targets while at the same time they are manufacturing touches, getting Jacobe Meyers what I mean, three carries as well. So, I would go ahead and I would say that Jacob's still the wide receiver one here in Jacksonville. Looking at the matchups, you'd have a really tough spot against the Denver Broncos in week 16.
Um, Alec Pierce had been playing quite well over the past month, but the injury to Daniel Jones is just going to nuke him.
Um Jawan Jennings, it's very difficult to come out here and say that we know he is great going into the future. Even though he's had the past five weeks averaging about 14 fantasy points per game and look like a top 24 receiver, he hasn't had a single game with 10 plus targets since week two and he's really been living off those receiving touchdowns over the past month.
Um, Chris Godwin expanding his role slowly, maybe turning into the wide receiver one in Tampa. But the hesitation that I'm about to have with Godwin is, well, you may have Mike Evans back this week, just spreading out all the targets.
Now, Luther Burton's going to be the wide receiver one in my rankings for the Chicago Bears at this point. Really tough matchups the next two weeks playing against the Cleveland Browns and the Green Bay Packers. So honestly, I don't know if it matters that much. But yeah, Roma maybe comes back this year. Maybe he doesn't. I definitely wouldn't rely on Rome in week 15 or honestly, it's going to be tough to even say that you could rely on him in week 16, 17 because Rome had been so bad before the injury.
Um Quinton Johnston, my number one drafted player in baseball. He had already returned value with what he did at the beginning of the year. Anything we get at this point is just sprinkles on top of the cake. The big Q come through for us tonight, buddy. Really rooting for you. But if I'm going to be honest with everyone here, Quinton Johnson, not reliable. I would never want to tell anybody to start him.
Clear, really cool touchdown for the Buffalo Bills this past week, but he had three targets. Clear, I would never want to tell anybody to start him. I'd never want to tell anybody to start Jordan if he's the second option for JJ McCarthy. I mean, I drafted a lot of Xavier Worthy as well, but I'm never going to want to tell anybody to start Xavier Worthy. Never going to want to tell anybody to start Romeo Dos, Ricky Pier, Saul, Jaden Reed, Kenan Allen, DJ Moore, like all really, the only wide receivers that I'd want to tell you to start would be the guys in F tier or above. Like, if you're having to dip down below that, I honestly question how you even made the playoffs if we're going to be honest with each other. But I really appreciate y'all and really hope that I was able to help you out in some way. Again, I want to remind you if you made the playoffs, you're welcome. I can take all responsibility for it. I'm the reason you got there. However, if you missed the playoffs, you need to do a better job managing your fantasy football team. I take zero responsibility for you not making it. Much love, ladies and gentlemen. really appreciate you and I'll see you in the live stream later.
