This conference is to prove that I have filed a complaint on August 24, 2023—last month. This is not a minor complaint; it concerns a massive illegal operation running in Maharashtra, specifically in Nandurbar district, Navapur police station. It's a huge business operating without any government permission, yet it continues. After mentioning this in my complaint, no action was taken. Four days ago, I WhatsApped the SP; he could stand there and live record this. If you've complained directly to the Chief Minister, the Governor, or the Home Department—to all sectors—and also to the Superintendent of Police responsible for the entire district, you'd expect your complaint to be handled properly. You would think you should now wait to be called by the police. Today, I will give you a clip; I want you to release it. When I told the officer I was coming, within 10 minutes, I started receiving calls from all the major Galing Mafia channels. Just as journalists are in front of me—I have many journalist supporters—they informed me, “Madam, it's a trap; don't go.” It's not guaranteed you'll reach Navapur, and even if you do, it's not guaranteed you'll leave. Your vehicle might be rammed by a truck on the way. Three days ago, I stated that if anything happens to me, Senior PI Gyaneshwar Ware, Navapur Police Station, PR Patil, Nandurbar District Superintendent of Police—who officially mandated this entire complaint—are responsible. And I am surprised, the day before yesterday, there was an IG night round. Journalists understand night rounds; it means addressing illegal activities. Whether it's a Senior PI, ACP, DCP, or even IG level, their job is to stop such activities. The day before yesterday, as soon as I sent them the message, the SP blocked me. Let me tell you, I am a national social activist. My work is that if I see a worm anywhere in the country, I will remove it, because I have a very different kind of worm inside me. You thought it best to block me. Today, I received a mail reply from the CM's office stating my complaint is registered and they will follow procedure. They also mentioned a number for emergencies. I called; I learned that all such illegal businesses across the state should be reported to the Home Secretary directly. Because until you report to the Additional Home Secretary, the complaint is not officially registered with the state government. So please remember this. You all understand the point of today's press conference: I might have looked defeated, but I am not. I have loving journalists, a large circle—not just in Mumbai or Maharashtra, but all over India. Let me talk about my determination. I want to share an FIR. A girl came to me; she said she is a Shia girl, belongs to the Muslim community, and committed the crime of loving a Brahmin boy. We hear a lot about Hindu-Muslim relations, love jihad, etc. Let me bring it to the forefront. This girl was humiliated by officers at a police station. I won't name the station; I'll give you a copy of the FIR. They humiliated her, saying they could do whatever they wanted. The FIR was against the Brahmin boy. From January to August, the girl ran from pillar to post at that police station. A journalist told her, “They won't listen here. I'll give you a number; take an appointment and go there. If you reach there, your work will be done.” The girl came to me with a lot of hope. She said her sources claimed her relative was an ACP, etc. She heard big things from the boy's side. Forget marriage; a virgin girl was sexually exploited for a year. Then they said, "Our communities won't accept it. We can't marry each other. If you want money, take it and leave." The girl wasn't willing to take money. If she had, I wouldn't have taken the case. When I create an FIR under Section 376, I get government money for the girls. When a POCSO FIR is filed, I get government money for the victim. That's my job. If the girl takes money and doesn't file an FIR, her dominance ends. But the humiliation is there. The FIR lies on the table; it was created by the same officer. That's my power. It didn't even leave the premises; it's on my table. You wear a uniform, you receive a salary. You know who we are. We are the ones who pay taxes. We didn't open a new company without getting our accounts ready, obtaining licenses from the Gumasta, connecting with our CA. The expenses involved, we'll bear. Our tax contribution is substantial because we know our comfortable home life is because of a huge security force—and it costs the government money. As responsible citizens, we do our duty. But if the money from the uniform is more important than the uniform itself, why wear it? You have good sources; earn in the black market. Become good contractors. My complaint will go directly against them, by name. I'll give the media all the complaints I've filed. Anyone who knows me knows I do what I say. This is about my determination and dominance. No mafia, no police middleman, should call me. Officers don't; they know they'll have to face the consequences. Let the remaining worms and insects who consider themselves something, think they can contact me. I'm sorry, this table isn't for sale. If this business isn't shut down, I will take it upon myself to ensure the responsible officers are dealt with. I want to know why the Home Department needs so many corrupt officers. Through RTI, I will demand a report on all the complaints I've filed. I received a second call from Navapur Police Station; a PSI Patil called again saying, "Madam, send your associate. Come yourself." I said, "Sir, I'm ready to come. But once I confirm where I am, my contract will go out into the market. It will be announced: ‘Shabana Sheikh’s contract is up’”. You're offering me a Mahin’s Halwa – you put it in your mouth and it will come out from your stomach. Try to come closer. I want to see what man dares to come before me. What illegal things do you do? You fight a lot, play games, do field work. So? Come; whether in uniform or not; and try to kill me. I'll return the favor. I’m not afraid. If the DG sends their staff from Mumbai, I'll bear the travel costs, take them in my car, and drop them off. But if the Senior PI of Navapur or SP of Nandurbar district thinks you can make a plan and I'll fall into your trap—I'm so sorry, friends. This is Nandurbar district, our area, near Bander. I have complaints, videos, I’m not creating them. 200 people are sitting in the field, 300 standing. When you see the field, you realize the magnitude of the gambling happening there. Crores of rupees lie there. Why don’t the police see it? When a man loses, he sells his house, his wife's jewelry. People have lost even their children's school fees. It's not just the man losing; his wife and children are losing; the whole family is losing. For your one day's sitting, what they call “petty cash,” from this sitting, how much money are you collecting? Which officer is receiving one petty a day? Which officer gets one and a half? I’m talking daily. This is gambling. If someone has set up a police station, the Superintendent of Police, the DG is above, the Governor, CM, and the entire Home Department. When a gambling man gives an officer one lakh rupees a day, one lakh rupees a day... can you imagine the ratio of gambling and how many lives are being ruined? I don't want calls from middlemen; I want this business to stop. If it doesn't, I will show my power. I won't be quiet. Since I've followed all official steps, I will personally meet Shinde Saheb, our CM, and hand him the complaint. I will show him the video and ask, "Sir, if I can see this with evidence, why can't your officers who wear uniforms see it? If they can't see it and don't do their duty, please, with utmost respect, remove those officers from the department. Bring in a new generation, give them a chance to serve the country. People are roaming unemployed, graduates are roaming. The department is full of corruption. I won’t just talk about the police. Go to the Collectorate; you’ll see a different level of corruption. You don't have enough space to build your little plot of land, yet the entire surrounding area is empty. You don't have the space, but you get FSI approval. How will you build and bring the building? You'll cover all government roads and footpaths. When such complaints are filed, which company is it? I saw Larode, a company. I was told, "Madam, the people you're complaining about are very powerful." I asked, "How powerful? What do they do? Eat supari, eat paan? What?" I am not afraid of powerful people; keep your power.
