Don't be so sensitive. People are too sensitive. Let me just tell you this for who here. One of your goals in 2024 is make a hell of a lot more money. It's tough when you're sensitive.
I'll tell you this because I recorded a video on this a while ago. I called it "Do You Want to Go Into the Jungle?" You know, everybody says they want wealth and all this. And I'm like, here's the best story, the best analogy for every one of you. Here's you. Here's, we'll call this the grassland. Okay? Here's the grassland. There's a few trees. It's pretty nice and safe here, okay? The Savannah is the technical word.
Then you keep moving in. There's a jungle. There's a wall of trees. And you can go one foot into the jungle and one foot out in the grass, or you can move further into the jungle. You can move further in. The problem now, the, the pot of gold is in the middle of the jungle because nobody wants to go there. Because inside the jungle is snakes, lions, leopards, quicksand, spiders that also want the pot of gold. And they're willing to do whatever it takes, bite you, sting you, kill you to get what they want.
And so I often ask people, are you sure you want to go into the jungle? Because it's a competitive world that we live in now. The Forbes list has, let's say, four or 500 people on it. The top four or 500 people, they've killed before. They've killed before. There's people bodies buried. Literal. I'm not doing an analogy anymore. Read about the Kennedy family, the most famous family in America for the last hundred years. Read about the father, how he built his wealth. He put people in prison on false accusations against men. He killed people. Most likely, no one knows for sure, but read the story. He wanted that money. He was one of the top wealthiest Hollywood movie producers. He got rid of people all day long. He wanted that money. There's a famous story of a false accusation against a man. He got, he paid a woman to say something crazy. So whether we're talking to Kennedys or at any point in history, if you're sensitive, how you going to survive in the jungle? I don't know how it'll happen.
Now, does that mean you should never be sensitive? No. But I'm saying if you're thin-skinned, this jungle is not for you. Trust me. This is what I would tell my 18-year-old self. This is what I tell my, my brothers, my sisters, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren. Be careful what you ask for because when you go into this jungle, it's a real deal. It's a real deal. So it's important that you count the cost of what you want. Count the cost of what you want. It may not be worth it. You know, fame may not be worth it. Look at the most famous people in the world. Do you think they have any easy life? They got all kinds of crazy legal. I saw Elon Musk now, his mother of his child, Grimes, is they're about getting ready to go to court, okay, over children. This, I mean, you're rich. He's the richest man in the world. What do you think's going to happen? Lawyers are wolves. They're jaguars. They're lions sitting.
So I want each of you. I don't want to dwell too much on the negative out there because it's better to dwell on the positive. Focus on what you want, not what you don't want. Um, but I just want to put a reminder that ambition should be limited. Unlimited ambition is a cancer.
