Christ is in me now, and He's the hope of glory. I didn't wake up to wait to go to heaven when the time comes. I woke up to live with Him and walk with Him and live by the Spirit. For those who live in the Spirit won't even fulfill the lust of the flesh. To walk in the light as He's in the light, yeah, yeah. That's why we're Christians, guys.
And guilt, condemnation, and shame will take you from that place where you won't feel about yourself how He sees you, where you won't have confidence and come boldly into the throne room of grace. Hebrews 4. You have a high priest. He's Jesus, the Son of God, who's passed through the heavens, sitting at the right hand. And you see that you have a representation there, representing all man to God. Paul said, "We have one mediator between God and man," and He's the capital M-A-N, the Man. Isn't that something?
People get mad at scripture. They, they, they attack you for preaching scripture. You say, "He's, He's the Man's usual." He's still God. He's the Son of God. Nobody said He's not the Son of God. Relax. [Music] But you have to understand. He's the Man. He's still a Man, flesh and blood. He said, "Feel Me." After He raised from the dead, "Touch Me, for a spirit doesn't have flesh and bone as I." What's He trying to say? Oh yeah, "I'm King of Kings and Lord of Lords. I'm the name above every name. I'm the Son of God. I'm the One who was and is and is to come. And nothing was made that wasn't made through Me. But make no mistake about it. I still have a body. I see myself as the Son of Man/Son of God, and I'm going to sit at the right hand of God with My blood on the mercy seat and sit down on that blood and forever with My life promise that everything I said shall be upheld." [Music]
He said, "Touch Me, a spirit doesn't have flesh and bone." His eye. Why would He do that? Why would He take the time to do that? Because He's trying to say, "I still have a body. I'm representing you in the heavenly tabernacle." And that's a big deal. Yeah, His blood on the mercy seat of heaven, the thing that Moses made a replica of, the thing that Moses saw and modeled. Jesus is in the real deal with His blood on the mercy seat, speaking better things over men.
You have a mediator, a go-between, an intercessor. We always teach He's up there praying for us. The word intercession means a mediator. He's there on behalf of representing us to the Father. That's what the word intercession means. It doesn't mean He's praying for us. It means He's representing us, and He's sitting there at the right hand so that we have access through Him to the Father. Come on. If that's true and we have faith, we ought to be with the Father.
I hope you woke up and said, "Good morning, Father. Hey, I love how You love me. I so appreciate You living in me by Your Spirit. Thanks for seeing me clean. I so appreciate the forgiveness of everything I've ever done so I can get on with life and truth in You. And now I got the present things to come. Yay, God. Come on." That sure beats, "Oh boy, six o'clock. I didn't sleep real good. God, I'm gonna need Your grace if I'm gonna get through work." That's a little different mentality to where I'm coming from. Oh, I'm going to have fun this morning.
