I Spent $500 on This Fantasy Football Draft

I am not ending this live stream until we fill this $500 draft. Now, right now, there are 10 spots open, so it's going to take a little bit of time. Last time this happened, it took us about 20 minutes to fill it. Maybe tonight, a little bit shorter, a little bit longer, but I don't want to wait around here for 20 minutes. So, instead, we are going to get in a practice draft before we can do the $500 one. We are going to select Jamar Chase with our first pick here. This is a classic basketball mania draft that we are warming up in, but you bet your bottom dollar the $500 draft is going to be going down hopefully right after this one. If not, it's going to be a long, long night. And if you're watching this later and the live stream says eight hours, just know that I made the worst mistake of my entire life. But thank you everybody for coming out to hang out with us in this stream. Yes, it is a little bit late. I get that. I get that. But I had engagement photos with Mrs. Flock. So, we are busy taking those. Yes, the photographer said it was the first time anybody's ever gone to take him in a Brandon Aubrey jersey, but um it is what it is. First for everything. Wifey wasn't happy. But in this draft, maybe, just maybe, we can I don't know, take down Basketball Mania 42 million. We'll see if we can get it done.

Now, Jaden Daniels off at 10. So once you see that we are on red alert that this draft may get tossed and this draft may get refunded. Let's see what this team does at 15. I don't think a draft is getting tossed for one bad pick. But if all of a sudden we see this team at 10 decide to go through and make another obnoxiously bad pick where maybe they take Parker Washington at 15, then we'll have to go ahead and we'll bounce to the next draft because I'm just going to assume this one will get refunded. But let's see what they do. It allows the team at 11 to grab the combination of CD Lamb and Jefferson. So, yeah, this team takes Drake May. This draft's going to get refunded. There's no way that this actually goes down. So, I hate to do this to y'all, but we're going to have to go ahead. We're going to have to bounce right into another draft. And I'm not even going to bother about that other one because that other one is getting refunded.

Now, we are at pick two in this one, which honestly may be better. Here we get to have Bejon Robinson as our start, but it is what it is. Now, let's move this over. Elijah says, "Hey, Mason, just curious in last year's Flock League, um, did you really want Tagans or did S Genuin the McBride pick?" Yeah. So, last year, I mean, I wish the editors would have kept it in, but I was telling people that were sitting there next to me that I really wanted to take Trey McBride in round three. I thought that after Sal went running back, running back, he was going to go wide receiver in the third round and then he went Trey McBride sniping me, which absolutely sucked.

Now, let's swing this around. Um, Andy says, "How do I activate the tool for Sleeper? Do I have to install the extension after buying the season pass?" Yes, sir. If you haven't already, I mean, if you got the season pass, you should just be able to go to the draft sheets section and from there, you'll be able to go ahead and download the extension for everything. Okay, Jir Gibbs off the board. Obviously, that just means we're going to go ahead and draft Bean Robinson. No harm, no foul. Nothing to really think about. But hopefully we have nobody doing anything extremely wild in this one that we're having to be worried it gets refunded. Now, the other draft does look like we've actually had a couple people join, so we are not as far away from that thing filling, but like I said, we're going to be drafting until that $500 draft fills. So, for the love of God, let's fill that thing relatively soon.

Um, Jay Zizzle says, "How is the the Odyssey?" Okay, I saw I need to um the wifey and I need to go ahead and review it for a litter box, but I really enjoyed it. I went and saw the Odyssey last night. I thought it was incredible. I loved it. I I I don't have any massive statements on it, but if you haven't seen it, definitely worth watching.

Okay, Johnny says they refunded people throw. Yeah. So, if somebody throws a draft, say like you come in and you see somebody take because again, basketball mania, what the draft room we're in right now, it's a massive tournament with $25 as a buy-in, $2 million to first place. So, in theory, what could happen is you could have somebody come into the draft room, three or four buddies all join at the same time, then four guys go through and they take absolute bums in the first few rounds. like they go Chris Brazzle. I mean, they go ahead and they take Zachariah Branch as their first two picks and that would allow like a team in theory to be able to draft like Puka Nacua and Jonathan Taylor on the same team. So, how Underdog curbs that is if they see a draft room where somebody's going completely wild, absolutely tanking their team, typically that draft just gets refunded and it gets tossed out. So you don't have to worry about like a team winning the tournament that was from a busted drafter.

Now, let me move this over. Kenneth Walker goes 16. And I do not recommend throwing any drafts because I mean I don't exactly know the rules for Underdog. I don't make them, but I know it's a very easy way to get banned. So, after Walker goes to the James Cook team, think there aren't too many like super interesting starts so far through the first like 17 picks. We'll see if anything crazy happens to us at 23, but probably not.

Mike says, "Is the extension a pretty easy setup with the season pass?" Yeah, literally all you have to do, I mean, I'll go through here's the deal. Um, let me just open up Safari and I'll show you what it looks like. Drake London off 19. Massive fall for Devon Achain. That team had five getting JS into Devon Achain. I couldn't be more jealous. That is insane. So if you're on the draft sheets page, okay, Rashid Rice off the board, I'm going to take Nico Collins. If you want to use like the live draft assistance after you got the Sleeper season pass, obviously season pass also gets you like the draft sheets page that you're able to use with your exact league settings. We're going to take George Pickens here at 26 because we got the stars on the shoulder pads, right? We got the stars on the shoulders. We should at least take one Dallas Cowboy.

Now, Williams says, "Genuinely, what if that drafter was just new to the game and wanted Drake May and Jaden Daniels, though? They got to learn, right? Like, I don't think you can come into a draft contest that is $2 million to first place and take three quarterbacks with your first three picks." It just messes up stuff.

Um, 412 Ray says, "Mason, do you all have an app or just the site?" So, as of now, it's just flockfantasy.com. But we have good news on this front as well. I have finally got all the paperwork that we needed to to Apple literally on Saturday morning. So, yesterday morning, we're going to take Cam Scatabrooks here pretty easily. So, I got all the paperwork to Apple. We are just waiting for them to approve. Flock Network LLC tell us we're all good. And then hopefully we will have the Flock Fantasy app dropping for y'all very, very soon. One member of the dev team, shout out Austin, has been working on that a ton over the past few months.

Now we have Devonte Adams at 49. We're going to take Cole Kmet here. And doctor, if support hasn't got back to you, I'm so sorry about that. Do you mind just emailing them one more time? Maybe your email just got lost. Um, very rarely do I take Kmet. I talk about this a lot, but in the instance in which I'm going to go through I'm going to draft Cole Kmet myself, it's if I don't have Bowers, I don't have McBride, and Kmet makes it to the fifth round. If those three things happen, I'm fine taking him. Especially on a team that already has Bijan Robinson, Cam Scatabrooks at running back and wide receiver, we have Nico Collins, George Pickens. So, we're well balanced at running back and wide receiver through the first four rounds. I think that allows us to take the falling value of Cole Kmet and it does open up um the Caleb Williams opportunity for us at 71. If we were having to worry about any other teams taking Caleb, it would be this team that took Luther Burden at 43. Maybe they take Caleb Williams at 67. And then the Rome Odunze drafter, which Rome's not off the board yet. You'd assume that he goes off here at the 56 turn, though.

Uh, it says, "Do we get the start-sit um, do the start questions reset every week or do you only get one?" Also, great new feature. Thank you, my friend. Now, let me see. Rome Odunze off at 61. Oliver says, "How many kicker jerseys do you have respect?" I'm going to be honest with y'all. I have a lot of jerseys, but this may be our only kicker jersey. Maybe the most important kicker, which is why we got the jersey, but this may be my only kicker jersey.

Okay, Aosis Mason, do you ever play the weekly draft tournaments on Underdog? No, I do not play the Underdog drafts during this season. Um, during this season, I'm primarily focusing in on just straight redraft leagues, but good news, we just had another person join the $500 draft. So, at this point, we are pretty likely to fill this bad boy relatively soon. Seven spots open in that $500 draft for anybody wanting in. Until then, we'll just be ripping the basketball mania drafts. But, um, pretty exciting stuff.

Now we have Parker Washington off 67. Daniels goes 69. So Caleb is a possibility for us here. I'm assuming the Chase team ends up taking Burrow. Let's see what they do. They go Burrow. So here's the deal. Maybe I am stupid for this, but I have Jalen Hurts ranked over Caleb Williams. You can see I have Jalen Hurts in 14% of my drafts, Caleb in 6.6%. So, I'm going to get really weird here. I'm going to take Malik Nabers as my third wide receiver. And once we do that, I'm going to set ourselves up with the ability to either get the Caleb or the Jalen Hurts stack on the way back around. So, now we have Herbert off. Here's my deal. In like the worst Jalen Hurts season ever, he still only scored like 15 points fewer than Caleb last year. I think we get a Hurts bounce back with the change with the offensive coordinator. So again, given the rushing upside that we have for Jalen Hurts specifically, while I think maybe Caleb's a better real-life quarterback, if we are talking fantasy football, I'm going to go with the rushing upside that we get with Jalen Hurts. So we'll take Jalen Hurts here. We'll pair him with Malik Nabers. I'm sure that this team here that took Luther Burden at 43 is going to take Caleb in the middle of the seventh, but we'll see.

Okay, now I see people in the chat absolutely hate Jalen Hurts. Um, let me go ahead and let's pull up the Jalen Hurts profile on the site because maybe this is an interesting conversation to have because for me, I understand that like people are very concerned about Jalen Hurts from like a real-life talent perspective. And I'm a monkey, right? I'm not smart enough to figure out like, oh, take away the offensive line, take away the quarterback, take away the coaching staff. Exactly how talented is Jalen Hurts compared to the rest of the quarterbacks in the NFL. Hell, you can sit here and argue all you want about it. I don't really care about that argument. I don't really find it too interesting for fantasy football purposes because for fantasy football purposes, this dude just prints fantasy points. He has been a starting quarterback in the NFL for one, two, three, four, five seasons. And in those five years, he has had a peak of 25 points per game. And he has had a floor of 18.7. He's never finished lower than the QB 8 in points per game and he's never played fewer than 15 games. And for me, I think we get a bounce back with the Philadelphia Eagles offense specifically due to the change with the offensive coordinator. So, I like buying the Jalen Hurts dip. I like buying the Jalen Hurts bounceback. You can sit here and make all the arguments you want from a real-life talent perspective. How good is Jalen Hurts? Up to you to figure that out. But in terms of his fantasy upside, given the rushing touchdowns that have historically been there, he's a crusher.

Okay, let's pull this around. R.J. Harvey off the board at 89. Let's swing this over. So now quarterback we have Hurts stacked with Nabers. Running back we have Bijan, Scat. Wide receiver Nico, Pickens, Nabers, and then Cole Kmet at tight end. So pretty well-balanced team where I don't necessarily think we have like any massive team needs here. Obviously y'all can tell I am much higher than consensus on Mahomes. [cough] So I'd be fine taking Mahomes here. I have Mahomes in 13% of my drafts. I would have preferred getting like Mahomes at this pick than Xavier Worthy at the next one. If we go Mahomes, I'm done drafting QBs. In terms of stacking options, we will be limited. But like what's the alternative? We take Kyle Pitts. Obviously, in your ESPN draft, you draft Jalen Hurts, you're never taking another quarterback here. We have won a $100,000 tournament with an unstacked Patrick Mahomes before on Underdog. Specifically, we were getting them at this cost whenever that happened. It was the year that Tyreek left to go to Miami and everybody was extremely concerned about what that was going to look like for Mahomes. And then we will take Kyle Pitts as our third running back. But I am a simpleton. Again, I have a lizard brain. I see Patrick Mahomes being drafted as a high-end QB2, low-end QB1 in fantasy. I see sports books putting him as an essential lock to be the starting quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs week one. So if he's going to be good to go week one and we go through and historically look at Patrick Mahomes last season was at 20.4 fantasy points per game. Is the QB4 in points per game? Even if this regresses, even if he doesn't run the ball as much, even if they lean on the running game with Kenneth Walker a little bit more, we are pricing in so much regression for Mahomes for him to be so much worse than he's historically been. What if he's the same? Or what if instead of him being 20% worse, he's 10% worse for fantasy? And then at that point, it's still a profitable pick here at 95. So, I'm completely fine with this start. Now, of course, once we have Hurts and Mahomes both off, what we would like to see is at that point, we would like to see all these other QBs get selected because what is going to make this look idiotic is if we were to have some massive quarterback fall make it to us at 119.

Okay, Jazz says, "Wish I could see you all at the meetup. I live in Austin. Lived here all my life, but I'm only 19." The flyer said 21 plus. So, I actually emailed the owner of the bar. And I asked him like, "Hey man, are we good to let 18, 19, 20 year old kids come to the bar and you can just put X's on their hands or whatever?" So, I emailed the owner. He didn't get back to me. I mean, I've tried emailing him multiple times. He never responds to my emails. I'm just going to text him. Try not to bother him too much, but I'm going to go ahead and text him and ask like, "Hey, can we get people that are 18 through 20 at the meetup?" I'll let y'all know what he says, but as of now, we just I think for safety, you're going to put 21 plus, but in case y'all haven't already, uh, make plans to come to the Flock League meetup. Actually, this team already has five wide receivers. We're going to go with the stack with Kelce to pair him up with Mahomes. Thought process is this team behind us already has five wide receivers. They have zero tight ends. So, I thought there was a good shot. We got Cole Kmet on the way back, which is exactly what happens. We'll go ahead and we'll take him at 122.

Okay, now let me swing this around. So now we have Bijan RB1, Scat RB2, Kyle Pitts running back three. Wide receiver Nico one, Pickens two, Nabers three, Cole Kmet four. Tight end we have Kmet and Kelce. Quarterback we have Hurts stacked with Nabers, Mahomes stacked with Kelce. Okay, let me move this over. And we still need seven people to join that draft. So um let me go ahead. I'm going to send out a tweet telling people to join the big dog. Okay, so we can get this $500 draft going sooner rather than later. And okay, looks like six spots are now open in that draft. Okay, couple tight ends off the board. I think when we go Kmet at 50, Kelce at 119, it's very much a gray area on if we're going to be drafting a third tight end or not. I definitely think running back and wide receiver are our top priorities at this point.

Okay, Stefon Diggs 133. I got Pra Mason lock in for the 500. I will, my friend. And yeah, I see people in the chat typing season pass. Yeah, I'm probably sticking with two quarterbacks and two tight ends. So, Stroud off, we're going to take Woody Marks as our fourth running back. Okay, Cam Ward goes 144. Goddard's off the board. Goddard's going to outscore these guys. Screw it. Let's take Dallas Goddard. Didn't want to pull the trigger on the third tight end. Well, historically doing so would advance our I mean, raise our advancement rates. It would lower our ceiling in weeks 15, 16, 17. And instead we probably should have had the extra receiver. But thinking through this team, we're only going to need five running backs. We have Bijan RB1, Scat RB2, Pitts RB3, Woody Marks RB4. And if this team has any chance of turning $25 into $2 million, we kind of need like something crazy to happen like Kyle Pitts to be the starting running back for the Chicago Bears, right? So, we would really be banking on something to that extent. Tight end, we have Kmet, Kelce, Goddard. Obviously, we're not taking another. Quarterback, we have Hurts double stacked with Nabers and Goddard. Mahomes, we have stacked with Kelce. And then wide receiver, we have Nico one, Pickens two, Nabers three, Cole Kmet four. So we're going to need to take four more wide receivers and then one more running back. But it looks like this $500 draft is about to fill. And let's freaking go. All right, Hunter Henry off 152. Juwan Johnson 153. Let me pull up that $500 draft lobby on my phone. I just can't afford it filling without me looking. Literally and figuratively. Okay. How many spots? Okay. Yeah, we just need four more people in that $500 draft and then we're going. Okay, we have the run on tight ends here at the very end. Great for us. I mean, obviously when we're sitting here and we've taken Goddard as our third tight end, we desperately need to see tight ends off the board.

Okay, Kamara 157, Spears goes 158. Anything but wide receivers going is good for us. Again, we only have five more picks that we're going to make and four of them have to be wide receiver. Okay, Bigsby goes 160. All else being equal, I wouldn't love taking rookie wide receivers with our next few picks given the fact that I mean our wide receiver three and our wide receiver four are both rookies at this point.

Okay, Jennings goes 164. Boston 165. I have Algeier ranked ahead of Charbs myself. Stribbling goes. I'm going to take Deebo. Hope that we get a good landing spot. I mean, Deebo goes to Miami, he's an absolute crusher here. And then with our next pick between Charbs and Algeier. Yeah, we're Arizona head coach talking up freaking James Conner today. Let's just go to Zack Charbonnet. Like James Conner gets any work in Arizona. It'd be the strangest off season ever. Like let's be real here. If the Arizona Cardinals went into free agency and went, "What's the priority for us? Let's give Tyler Allgeier a good contract." Then they went into the NFL draft and they went, "What's the priority for us here? Let's take a running back at number three overall so we can make him the most the highest paid running back in the NFL." And then we get to the season and they decide, "What's going to make the most sense for our team? Let's lean on James freaking Conner." Again, it's July 26th, so in reality, none of that crap probably matters. It doesn't matter what he said in the press conference. It's just hilarious that that is the news that we are getting today. That freaking they're trying to tell us that James Conner of all players is going to be getting work.

Now, Isaac TeSla off the board. Calvin Ridley goes. They're only two spots open in that $500 draft. So, it looks like this thing's going to fill. And I I really need to lock in. I really need to. Okay. Antonio Williams goes 180. I mean, in this draft, I would be It's very easy for us to leave this one because we're just taking three more wide receivers, so we could literally queue up those three receivers and bounce.

Okay, Uncle Jud says they're trying to buff his trade value. I literally thought the same exact thing. Okay, now let me move this over. Geno Smith goes 182. I move this down. That subscribe animation. I probably got to get rid of freaking This is This is an absolute disaster class from yours truly. If Dalton Schultz makes it to us at 191 and I freaking took Cole Kmet at 50, I am the dumbest person that's ever drafted a team. Here's what this team really needs. If we were going to somehow turn $25 into $2 million, if we end up drafting Dontayvion Wicks at 191, we need the Philadelphia Eagles to bounce back to be the best offense in the league. We just need to see that every struggle they had last year was due to their offensive coordinator changing that one position and being a little more creative with the play calls instead of just run with Barkley, run with Barkley, vertical shot to A.J. Brown. We need just some type of creativity unlocking all I mean the entire offense. Fry Muth goes 189. So, we are one person away from that $500 draft filling. So, I don't even think I'm going to enter in another Basketball Mania draft after this one. If it doesn't fill, we are just going to go and sit in that empty lobby. I'll take Zachariah Branch. My plan was to actually take again Dontayvion Wicks for the stack, but it doesn't work out that way. And then I don't know if we want Mooney here. I think I'd rather have Ted Ginn Jr. Actually, no. We have three rookie wide receivers. If we have three rookie wide receivers, Darnold Mooney may actually be the play. It's obviously the thesis with Mooney would be you get the usable weeks whenever Malik Nabers is injured at the beginning of the season. And those weeks would line up with when we would need them based on our team just having a ridiculous amount of rookie wide receivers.

Okay. Yeah, Jarus is one spot left in the 500. So apparently Jar's in this one with us. Okay, the Caldwell says, "Any reason why the Rasheed Rice hype has grown recently? Was a fourth-round pick like a month ago and now going in the second to third round?" Well, a month ago, Rasheed Rice was in jail and we had no clarity with his knee injury. Now Rasheed Rice is out of jail. Looks like he's going to be at training camp no problems where you don't have to worry about the knee. So, I think it's honestly quite understandable of why Rasheed Rice has risen from being like a fourth-round pick to Oh, dear God.

Okay, we're locked into that $500 draft and we are in a very similar draft slot to what we've done a lot of these in. We'll queue up Taekwon Thornton for Mahomes stack and then Cup Bateman. I like taking Booty, Troy Franklin, and we'll throw a Fields in here, and then we'll just make sure we get a wide receiver with these last picks. But let me go ahead and let's pull us into that $500. And we're at pick four. Okay. Little nervous. Actually, I'm gonna be honest with you. I was going to say little nervous, a little excited. The correct way to say that is a little excited, very nervous. A little excited, very nervous. It's time to lock in, twin. Time to lock in. Okay, Gibbs goes one, Bijan goes two, Chase goes three, we take Puka four. Let's fast forward this. Come on. Draft doesn't start until the second round here. I mean, late round one, obviously things get a little hairy, but like you can see the board changing on this side. First four picks locked in the same way every single draft. So, we will see what happens with this at 21, but we're kind of coasting until then because we know we're not getting JSN, we know we're not getting Taylor, we know we're not getting McCaffrey. So, all these picks over the next four or five, they're meaningless to us. It simply doesn't matter. Okay. So, I'm I'm not going to get all worked up just for what is happening here because again, it's kind of meaningless for us specifically. St. Brown goes seven. [snorts] And if y'all are not gonna drop a like on the live stream for a $500 draft, I don't know what y'all are gonna hit that like button for. Please go down there. Show the stream some love. Please. And oh my gosh. You either take off the backwards Brandon Aubrey jersey or you take off the watch. And I said, "This jersey ain't coming off." So, had to take off the watch. Forgot to put it back on.

Okay. Now, A.J. Brown off the board. Henry goes 19. What are we looking at? Here's the lesson that I have learned. And you can see that I have updated my rankings to reflect this lesson. The lesson that I have learned is we do not draft Brock Bowers here. We take Nico Collins because here's the deal. We will be on the clock at 28 in this draft and there is a damn good chance that Trey McBride will be there and if it comes down to Trey McBride or Chris Olave I want to take McBride and I can't do it if I took Bowers in the second round. So for that reason we're taking Nico. We've learned the lesson. And what will be interesting is if people in this draft room are scared about the James Conner Arizona comments and if Jeremiah Love makes it to us at 28. But let's see. Oh my gosh. Um, Rage says, "Wish we could see our own rankings on the my teams page. Can you not?" If you created your own rankings on flockfantasy.com, let me know any tools that you've tried to use them with because the goal is you can use your own rankings on the trade calculator. You can use your own rankings on the my teams page to see the power rankings in your league. If you have the season pass or you're a mother flocker and you made your own rankings on flockfantasy.com already, um, let me know if there are any tools on the site you can't power with your own ranks.

So, this is where we wanted to be. I mean, not wanted to be. Let me take that back. This is where we knew we would be. I knew I would be on the clock in the third round looking at Trey McBride versus Chris Olave and wanting no part of Chris Olave in that interaction. I would rather have the 2v2 of Nico and Trey McBride over Chris Olave and Brock Bowers. So, I'm going to go ahead and take McBride here at 28. Now, what typically this is going to mean is this going to mean that we probably got to look at Scatabrooks at 45, but again, no guarantee there either. Nabers off the board at 29. But, I mean, I don't even like this sounds ridiculous, but I don't even feel like the draft has started yet. Like, at least for us, like through the first three rounds. Maybe it's because I do so many of these drafts. I mean, and y'all obviously, I'm sure, have watched a ton of them, but through the first three rounds here, it feels like chalk to me. The only difference again, as we had mentioned previously, I had made the mistake in a lot of these drafts taking Bowers and then boxing ourselves out of McBride. But we don't make that mistake in this one.

Okay, Cameron says, "When you make your own rankings, can you make a tier list involving all the players? I see you can only do your individual positions." Here's what I probably need to do. I probably need to teach y'all how to use the create rankings on flockfantasy.com because yes, you can very easily go through and make a tier list with every player. So, if you're on the create rankings of flockfantasy.com, like say you're here creating your rankings for other dynasty redraft blah blah blah. Say you're in your redraft ranks. Um, if you want to add a tier, you go ahead and you hit this little arrow and you hit new tier, right? So, yes, you can make this a tier list. Your overall rankings, your positional rankings, right? So, like all the videos that I make with all our tier lists are all powered by flockfantasy.com. Like I'll go into my running back rankings, then I'll like move James Cook out of A.J. Dillon or like that, right? So, but if you want to add new tier, you just hit that little arrow. Probably will take a little bit of time for y'all to navigate, figure it out. I've been doing it for years, but um yeah, again, I I know we've had a lot of people asking about it and I just wanted to make sure we got it done for you.

Now, we've taken a lot of Cam Scatabrooks lately. I have seen Scat fall to the four-five turn very consistently in these drafts. Okay, Jacobs goes 42. Terry goes 43. Scat is off. We're going to get weird with this. Oh, I effing hate this. I know this is a a family-friendly show, so I'm gonna keep it chill here, but I hate this. I really do. I freaking hate this. This sucks. Evans is our highest ranked player, but my god, I I'm not doing it. We're taking Swift. We're getting a running back. I thought we were going to get Jacobs or Scatabrooks. Evans goes here at 47. Burden goes 48. Again, Burden was the highest ranked player according to ADP. I'm just not a big Burden guy. Kmet goes 50. Thank God. Okay, this is our next shot to get an RB. This team here has two. They have Bree Montgomery. They only have Jamar. They take Devonte Adams. I'm going to grab Trevon. This is going to sound weird, but with the way the ADP lines up typically with Swift and Trevon both being ground five picks, kind of a little bit of a unique turn, but we're going to go with the steady Eddie. DeAndre Swift's never finished lower than a top 24 running back in fantasy. Pretty damn good offense with the Chicago Bears receiving role. And then we're going to go Trevion Henderson, the boom-bust running back. Very easily could be Remadre's backup this next season or very easily could just prove to be the better running back between the two and win the job in his second NFL year. Keep in mind Trevion going into his rookie season was going at the 3-4 turn by the time we got to August and he had the preseason return touchdown but let's run it. I'm going to be honest. I don't hate our decision. Like I'm not sitting here kicking myself going, "Mason, you're a freaking idiot, man." Like, I stand by Puka at four. I think you just have to make that pick. Nico and McBride versus like I guess you could take Kyren Williams instead of Trey McBride if you really wanted. But Trey McBride averaged 18.5 fantasy points per game last season at the tight end position, vastly more than any other player that was selected in round three, not named Josh Allen. And again, he did so at tight end. While yes, he's going to regress. And while yes, we're not going to get as much passing volume in Arizona this year as we had last, still, even if he drops 20% of his points per game, he's still a good pick here. And that's assuming he gets 20% worse in his prime. So, I don't think I can pass on McBride there in the third round. I think he's just frankly the best pick. DeAndre Swift and Trevion Henderson in rounds four and five, you can sit here and nitpick and you can go like, "Oh, I prefer David Montgomery over DeAndre Swift." Or, "Oh, I prefer Quinn Johnston over Trevion. I prefer Bijan Irving over Trevion." Like again, you can make any argument you want in that fashion, but I think the picks were running back in my opinion because now we at least have some flexibility here through the middle rounds where I'm not having to scream and cry that we need a singular position making it to us.

Okay. Now we'll swing this over. Malik Nabers goes 66. I'm not saying a single word until we're on the clock. Tyson goes 67. If we would have got Tyson, I would have lost my mind. I'm not saying a single word until we're on the clock. What are you doing here, Jaylen? Goes Jalen Hurts. I'm taking Drake May. I think the advantage the elite quarterback gives us is vastly superior than taking any of these marginal running backs or wide receivers at this point. If we're looking at the points per game gap between the quarterbacks that we're going to get here in round six with Hurts, May, Burrow, Caleb versus the quarterbacks that are going to be going just a couple rounds later in rounds 8, nine, and 10, I think the points per game gap is meaningful. I think it's two, three points per game. Whereas, when we look at the wide receivers and the running backs, like say Marvin Harrison Jr. as an example, I don't know if Marvin Harrison Jr. at 69 is that different than the wide receivers we're going to see in the coming rounds. So, I'm going to go ahead. I'm going to rip May here at 69 and we will see. Justin Herbert off at 73. So now the only quarterback that is here would be Dak. And again, we don't have any of the stacks for Dak Prescott. Not saying a word until we're on the clock. What are you doing here, Seth? What are you doing here, buddy? He goes Marv. I would have taken Marv if he made it. Now that he is gone, I'm fine going ahead and pulling the trigger on a running back. And between Pard and Jaylen Warren, I'm really fine with either guy. My rankings have it as Jaylen Warren. And we're going to listen to my ranks. We'll take Warren here. Let me refresh this. I see the live draft grades are not taking into account every variable. Looks like for whatever reason two out of the three of them aren't loading at this point. So we're gonna not overrate that at the moment. But now this is a double anchor wide receiver build where we have Puka and Nico Collins. We have the elite tight end with McBride. We have Drake May at quarterback. We just have an effing gross running back room of DeAndre Swift, Trevion Henderson and Jaylen Warren. Just abysmal running backs. Truly abysmal. And frankly, it's it's sad to see. I'll keep I'll keep it a buck with y'all. But going through and like trying to figure out where we could have the pivots elsewhere, I don't like other than you going like, "Oh, I'd rather have David Montgomery over DeAndre Swift," I don't see a pivot that makes like is a no-brainer for me.

Okay, Trevor Lawrence goes 82. Yeah, maybe I'm just bummed that in like Scatabrooks and Jacobs both came damn close to making it to us. Like if we got Josh Jacobs at 45 and then DeAndre Swift at 52, I would have been over the moon with this team. Like I would have been freaking pumped. It's just tough when we get that close to seeing running backs like the gap I feel between like Travis Etienne, Josh Jacobs here at 40 and 42 and then the running back that I ended up getting at 45 with DeAndre Swift. It just feels like these guys are in different tiers which is why I don't love it.

Okay, Buddam says XO's team is insane. Where are they? They have St. Brown, A.J. Brown, Kyren, Jacobs, Lamar, Malik Nabers, and Pard. I think they have a fine team. My favorite team here realistically is actually probably this team at eight. I really like the Lamb, Achan, Flowers, Wilson, Watson, Jadarian Price, Dak D. I think this team at eight is probably my favorite in this draft room.

Okay, Blake goes 91. Not saying a word until we're on the clock. What are you doing here, Jaylen? Goes Jalen Reed. I don't love Josh Downs, but frankly, we need wide receivers. We have two wide receivers through the first seven rounds. I think Josh Downs, it's a tough pick to make, but I think he's better in Underdog drafts just because we know he's going to have a role and you don't have to try to predict when he will be startable in like our ESPN Yahoo drafts. I don't know if you're ever going to be able to like know when you put Josh Downs in your lineup. I don't think he's ever being able to project out for like 16 points in a game.

Okay, Ricky Priester off at 95. Okay, what are you doing here at one, brother? Jackson Dart unstacked, but Dart does have rushing upside. Not saying a word until we're on the clock. Jonathan Brooks goes 97. Brooks, one of the biggest risers in drafts that I wasn't smart enough to draft early when he was cheaper. Brock Purdy goes, "God dang." LePorta in his rookie season scored more points than Michael Wilson has in the past four years. LePorta is so much of a better pick here than almost anybody else. We're going to take Michael Wilson, frankly, just because even if I think LePorta scores more points, very similar to when we decided to take Josh Downs, I just think, frankly, we need wide receiver points, we have to start three wide receivers on Underdog. And when we take Trey McBride in the third, we are already banking

On McBride scoring so many points, if our team wants to have any chance of turning our 500 bucks into 200,000, that even if Leaporta seems to be the better pick here at 100. What I don't want to do is I don't want to take Leaporta and then all of a sudden we see a really strong tight end value later in this draft and like, crap, we're boxed out of tight ends.

Also, while we do have May paired with Henderson, I'd prefer to get a traditional receiver or tight end paired with them. We go Leaporta here. We're not allowed to take Hunter Henry later on. Passing on Leaporta does give us the Hunter Henry option as well. So, we're going to take Michael Wilson.

We ended up winning a ton of money in drafts last year, and Michael Wilson was one of our big reasons. Like, just going through and pulling this up, if y'all don't remember his profile, like he broke out in week 11, right? Where week 11 he has 33 fantasy points. And let's look at something really funny. Let's compare Michael Wilson's weeks 1 through 10 and his weeks 11 through 18. I mean, I think this is one of the craziest stats in fantasy football because obviously he has an ADP right now is the wide receiver 47 in drafts, right? So wide receiver 47 off the board, Michael Wilson here at pick 100. If we go through and look at what he did last year, this is the player comparison tool on flockfantasy.com. Weeks 11 through 18, he averaged 21 fantasy points per game, and he was the wide receiver two in fantasy during that stretch. He averaged almost 100 receiving yards per game. He averaged 11 targets per contest. The efficiency was there. 2.5 yards per out run. In those final like eight weeks, he looked like one of the best wide receivers in the NFL.

Do I think he's one of the best wide receivers in the NFL? No. I think the Cardinals were in a lot of garbage time. You had Marvin Harrison Jr. injured. So, for that reason, I'm not going to project out Michael Wilson to be a wide receiver one in fantasy again this year. But, Jacobe resigns. I think that's a positive for Wilson. I think it's a positive for McBride, who we also drafted here. So, it's not like we have to say, "Oh, Carson Beck starting week one." That's probably not going to be the case. But since Jacob's resigned, I think you get a small bump with both those guys. And you have so much regression being priced in already. We're going to take Romeo Dobs, pair him up with Drake May. Pretty easy. Do another very similar pick to Josh Downs, Michael Wilson. And your Yahoo draft and your ESPN draft, I don't really know if you're ever going to be able to like know when you're starting him. But in these underdog best drafts, I wouldn't be surprised at all if we get a big spike week or two from Dobs.

Now, Wandale goes 118. Concepcion goes 119. Okay, this is an interesting setup. Looking at the draft assistants telling us we want two quarterbacks, five running backs, which is crazy. I guess Swift, Henderson, Jaylen Warren aren't the worst picks in the world. Wide receiver, we want eight. And it's telling us we could push three tight ends. I'd probably push three quarterbacks before three tight ends. We'll see what we end up getting here. Okay, Tracy goes 121. Jakori Crossing at 122. My highest [snorts] ranked name is Aaron Jones. Highest according to ADP is Baker. We don't have any Baker stacks, but this is the big dog, so stacking does matter less. And we do have stacking options for some of these names later on. Aaron Jones goes, though. So here's the question. Do we take Jaden Higgins and then specifically target Stroud to pair with Higgins and Nico later, or do we just take Baker Mayfield here? Baker Mayfield two years ago had 41 passing touchdowns and 381 fantasy points. So, we'll take Baker Mayfield at 124.

This is an instance in which I probably don't do this if it's like a super large field tournament like Basketball Mania on Underdog because they're obviously Baker Mayfield not going to have a ton of rushing upside. Stacking's going to be a little more important. But this is a much smaller tournament on Underdog. Again, this is the Big Dog tournament instead. So, I am probably going to be more okay not stacking a pocket passing option here. We do still have the option to take Cotton later on. We can still take Jaylen McMillan later on. We can still take Tad Hurst later on. So, there are options, but we'll see. I mean, we've seen Baker in recent memory access the ceiling that CJ Stroud just simply hasn't. Even if I thought Stroud was one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL his rookie season. Absolutely incredible.

Okay, now let me move this over. Dalton Kincaid goes 131. Okay. For us, I don't even know what we want or need to make it back to us. I guess maybe an exciting running back. Yeah, I guess that would be it. If we could get a running back that we like. Okay, Travis Hunter off at 134. Sam Darnold goes 135. All right. Again, I don't even know what we should be stressing over. Malik Willis goes 137. If Willis would have made it to us at 141 with the rushing upside, I would have felt like the biggest idiot on the planet for taking Baker. Keen Mitchell 138. God, these people. I guess it's a $500 draft, right? $500 drafts are going to go a lot slower than the $5 ones. People are really stressing, thinking about who they're going to pick. Isaiah Likely off the board. Jake Ferguson shares the same bye-week that Trey McBride has. So, even if he's the big-time follower, I don't think we're taking him. I'm going to take Woody Marks. My highest rank, it goes Fergs, Omar Cooper. For me, we've been saying that I wouldn't be surprised in best drafts if you get a couple random usable weeks from Woody Marks, even with the healthy David Montgomery. Now, again, in your regular redraft league, Woody Marks is just a pure handcuff, right? You would never put him in your starting lineup outside of a David Montgomery injury. But may not be the worst thing. Take him here at 141 as our fourth RB. We're going to have to take six running backs on this team. And we have projectable volume with Swift, Warren, and we have the upside of Trevon. And then at this point, you're just taking these like random running backs that will have small roles in their backfield and give you random usable weeks. But if you were to see an injury in front of the guy to the guy in front of them, then obviously they have a ton of upside. That would be like the Woody Marks, Isaiah Pacheco, Taji Spears range. But these guys have a 0% chance. I guess Spears maybe could beat out Pardon and Singleton straight up. But like Woody Marks and Pacheco obviously have a 0% chance of beating out the running back in front of them.

So Hunter Henry off at 144. Henry would have been in play for us, of course, having the Drake May pairing, but we already have Drake May paired up with Dobs and Henderson. Jaylen McMillan was also somebody we were looking at at 148. He had an ADP of 145, but he goes at 143. Is obviously McMillan with Baker would have been nice. Jaylen Naylor goes 146. Let me look at the math of two quarterback versus three quarterback builds for us. Two QBs based on what we've done. Higher advance semi-finals and finals rates. Um, we're going to take Omar Cooper in that instance. With Omar, yes, he's a New York Jet, which you don't like being the third option in the Jets offense at the very best, right? Because that's what he is. At the very best, Omar Cooper is the third option in the New York Jets offense. That sounds horrible, but if we take a step backwards in a vacuum, we are getting a round one NFL draft talent in his rookie season here after guys like Jaylen McMillan, Jaylen Naylor, Trey Tucker that have been in the NFL for a very long time and have never come close to giving you anything that looks like a league-winning type season.

Okay, CJ Stroud goes 153. Britain Strange 154. All right, Sharbs off. [snorts] Um, WTH says, "Does upper and lower case matter on the entry word season pass?" No, it should be fine. I don't think the caps matter at all. The custom draft sheets tab is taking into account one the platform that you're playing on and making adjustments based on ADP and two also your exact league settings. So if you're like in a non-PPR format, you'll see the running backs in the custom draft sheets be way higher. If you're in a superflex league, you'll see the quarterbacks be way higher. If my favorite example is like in Sleeper drafts, Brian Thomas has an ADP. We're going to take Joe Nichelman here as our fifth running back easily. But if you're like in a Sleeper draft, you'll see that Brian Thomas has an ADP in like the ninth round. If you're using the rankings tab with the draft assistant, um maybe my rankings would tell you to take him in round five, right? Or round I'm sorry, round six is where I Brian Thomas ranked. But if he has an ADP round nine in your league, those draft sheets are going to take into account that round nine ADP and my round six ranking. If that's my ranking for your exact format, maybe different based on your exact league settings, but the draft sheets will know that. And then it's going to average those two. So if it's like, oh, Mason's telling you to take them in round six, ADP has them in round nine, instead of taking them around six, you can probably get them around seven, right? So I would recommend using the draft sheets and not the straight-up rankings.

Now, Adonai Mitchell off 169. TJ Hockenson goes 170. We're about to be on the clock again. I have Deshaun Stribbling as our highest ranked player here. I have him ahead of Isaac Tekela. How many rookies do we have? We have Omar, Jonah Coleman, and that's it. When it comes to rookies, I think we're fine to rip another. I'm gonna take six running backs with this team. I'm gonna take Deshaun Stribbling here, at 172. And I'm going to pray that Kyle Shanahan and the Niners are just so tired of hearing people talk crap about the Stribbling pick that they go ahead and they just manufacture him touches in his rookie season. That would be the hope. Cincy says, "Where can I see the next live stream times?" So, I live stream every single night and I won't miss a single night of live streaming until Christmas. Y'all were here a couple weeks ago when I was very, very sick and we were still out here live streaming for y'all, right? Um, but with that in mind, I don't know when we go live. We have Drake May paired up with Romeo Dobs and Trevon Henderson. We have an unstacked Baker. We can still look at some of these Tampa guys later. Running back, we have Swift, RB1. Oof. Henderson, RB2, just fine. Jaylen Warren, RB3, just fine. Woody Marks, RB4, just fine. Jonah Coleman, RB5, just fine. Wide receiver one, Puka. Wide receiver two, Nico. Wide receiver three, Josh Downs. Wide receiver four, Michael Wilson. Wide receiver five, Romeo Dobs. Wide receiver six, Omar Cooper. Wide receiver seven, Deshaun Stribbling. And then we have the elite tight end with McBride. So, I don't know from a construction perspective, do we rip the third QB here with Jacobe? Um, I think we will. Jacobe gets the deal in Arizona. Last year he printed 20-point weeks. It's a smaller field contest, so I don't think we have to chase the same type of ceiling that we would otherwise if it was BBM. If it's Basketball Mania, I'm only drafting two of these guys. But we'll take Jacobe Brissette at 189. Get the double stack with Michael Wilson, Trey McBride. This going to commit us to only taking two tight ends because I may want to take a sixth running back. I think I do. And obviously, we still need to grab another tight end here.

Agent says, "How do I get the season pass on the Flock app?" To recap this team, I think it's I don't think it's bad. It's just not super exciting. Like, not a lot of the players that I love. I don't think it's dead by any means. Like I think it's definitely live to do something. I think it has a shot, but it's just not a super exciting team for me. I don't really regret many picks. Like y'all know I'm very honest whenever I say like, "Hey, I know that we messed this up." I think we just drafted against some really good people. We got put in some really tough predicaments and then I think we did fine. Maybe the Baker pick was bad. Like maybe we should have gone ahead and passed on Baker, taken a wide receiver there like Jaden Higgins and then took CJ Stroud at 148. Like so would we rather Baker Mayfield and Omar Cooper or Jaden Higgins and CJ Stroud? I'd actually probably rather Baker and Omar. So never mind. Maybe I take that back. I don't regret that. Yeah, honestly looking at my team, I don't regret any of the picks. I actually think we made the right calls where we did, but it was just a really tough draft. Now I'm going to take David and Joku here as our last one. I'll take him over Parkinson, but um I think that is going to be it. I will check the chat again. See if Joel gave us his username.
