In the brutality that continued to increase for 620 days, more than 55,000 innocent Gaza people lost their lives. More than 128,000 of our brothers were wounded. Israel's attacks are now much more grave, much more barbaric. In Gaza, where 80% of the population is in disrepair, 2 million innocent civilians who are trying to survive are completely doomed to hunger, thirst, and drug addiction. As if this is not enough, Israel is pouring bullets and bombs on the oppressed who are trying to survive. Every day, hundreds of people are killed by hunger-stricken people. I say very clearly: the most horrific photos and videos of World War II, believe me, are very, very innocent next to the images from Gaza today, in the Holocaust in Europe. There are no images as horrific, as painful, as inhumane, as heartless as those in Gaza. Netanyahu has already left the cruel Hitler behind in the crime of genocide. Moreover, these attacks were organized while Iran's nuclear negotiations were continuing. Israel, which has nuclear weapons and does not recognize any international rule, without waiting for negotiations to end, without waiting for the result, carried out a terrorist act in the eyes of the whole world, in the eyes of all humanity. In the face of this attack, unfortunately, especially the United Nations, international institutions, and states remain silent. In fact, some of them unfortunately openly support this banditry. For exactly 620 days in Gaza, while a shameful picture of humanity was taking place, those who were silent are now spreading to our entire region at a high speed of fire. Again, they are in a deep silence. I repeat: this aggression, this rule of non-recognition, the state terror, and in the face of banditry, to remain silent is to show special consent to the one who is finished. As much as those who support Israel’s naivety, the civilians who were killed in the hands of those who supported it, the children of those who supported it, this is our biggest reference source in the administration of the state. We have overcome our defense sector to the end. We have made it attractive to invest in the defense industry to develop products and to put innovative ideas into practice. I can say this in the presence of my heart today: Turkey is now a country when integrated in layered defense architecture that protects its skies with domestic and national air defense systems. We value the level we have come by overcoming many obstacles. But we do not find it sufficient. We have to become much stronger and more resilient. As I said after the cabinet meeting, we will raise our resilience to such a level that no one can even think of attacking us. We will increase our domestic and national production rate by 20% and 80%. Let's put our heads together and think about it. This country cannot produce a common needle. We now have our UAVs, SHAs, and akinies, and we have begun to export them in a serious manner. We will advance with patience, determination, determination, and solid steps until we reach our goal of full independence in the defense industry.
