And here below, you need to click on device usage. Pay attention that this slider will be enabled, asking before transferring device usage information to the site. Well, I don't think anyone will ask anything, because many sites immediately throw up various notifications, and to access them, you need to click the OK button, which most people do, and thereby give various permissions. Of course, this slider needs to be turned off, and thereby we will block the transfer of device usage information to sites. That is, what we do specifically on our phone. This is a very important setting. Pay attention to it. You open the browser, type some search query, want to find some information, then various pop-up windows immediately appear on your screen. And they can appear so suddenly that you wanted to click somewhere and accidentally click specifically on the window that popped up. Thereby you go to some site, completely different from the one you were on. God willing, these sites are just advertising, but they can also be some kind of fake sites. And thereby you might think that you are on some official site, but in reality it is a fraudulent site that is trying to get some of your data or seize some information. So that this does not happen, you need to click on the three dots. Go to settings. Scroll here and find site settings. Scrolling down a bit, find a line called pop-ups and redirects. Here it will be allowed by default. Of course, we take and turn off this slider. Thereby we block pop-ups and redirects to unknown sites. And by the way, this is recommended by the browser itself, although the slider is enabled for everyone. If you use some special applications that require identity verification, for example, these can be some banking applications, some specific accounts where you need to constantly enter a login and password or specifically receive some code to log in, for example, it can be some password sent to your email or via SMS. And at the same time, you are also using these services specifically in the browser, then you definitely need to make one of the important settings that will help protect your data from scammers who can gain access through your browser. Often, many different sites collect important information that people should not give to anyone at all. So, to avoid this, you can clear specific sites or completely clean your browser properly. And here you will see numerous sites that you have already visited. If you want to get rid of a specific site that you accidentally visited and clicked on something, and the data has already gone somewhere, then of course, click on this site, click on this trash can. And here it offers to delete the data that a specific site has collected. Click delete. And by the way, we can also reset various permissions that were granted to the site here. Possibly, this happened by accident, and you gave some additional permissions that should not have been given. So. Click delete data and reset permissions. And delete them in the same way. Or if you don't care about any of the sites at all, if you don't care about any data, then just don't bother and click delete all data. Thus, you will completely clear all sites at once and also free up space. Absolutely useless three settings that are enabled by default, but 99.9% of people will never use them, but they still launch various background processes, use RAM, load your smartphone, and uselessly drain your battery. Perhaps, of course, it is not so noticeable, but by getting rid of such a dependency, the phone will start working better, because we disable absolutely unnecessary things that we will not use. Perhaps for those who are engaged in 3D modeling of the specific area where they are, then perhaps this setting is needed for them. In all other cases, I think this is a completely useless setting that needs to be turned off. Then go back and find another setting called virtual reality. Again, check if sites are requesting permission to use virtual reality devices and data. If you actually use digital 3D glasses or 5D glasses, then this setting is needed, but again, it is only needed when viewing pages through these glasses. If you do not practice this, then of course, take and turn it off. By doing this, you will slightly unload your smartphone and slightly improve the battery life performance. Your smartphones have a tricky setting that allows various sites to use your image and also the copied text that is in the clipboard in order to analyze what data you took from a specific site. This is actually not very good in terms of privacy, because everyone searches for some information for themselves. And when you use the browser, that is, you go, read something on some site, and some people take important information and copy it, that is, they highlight the text, click copy, and paste it somewhere. And similarly, many people take screenshots. That is, again, you went to a site, so as not to lose some information, you take and make a screenshot. But at this time, the site also receives this data, what you screenshotted from it, what you copied. In general, it's like a two-way data exchange. So, for this, you need to go to the three dots. Here it is enabled by default for everyone. We give permission for sites to access text and images copied to the clipboard. I personally prohibit such a setting for myself. We block sites from accessing text and images copied to the clipboard. And now only we will know what we are actually copying and what we are actually saving for ourselves. In general, so that most sites give access to view any videos or any other information, I recommend setting it to allowed and after that try to search for something. There are settings that can harm you under certain conditions when you search for information through a browser. Now there are many different viral applications circulating on the internet that are downloaded to a smartphone or a personal computer when you click on them just once. And so, to avoid falling for such a trick, it is advisable to disable one of the settings, because when viewing any information in the browser, some advertising usually pops up, and you can simply accidentally click on it, and some download will begin. What exactly will be downloaded, of course, no one can predict. So, so that such dangerous applications do not launch and automatically download various files to your smartphone, you need to go to the three dots. Here, click on settings, go to the line called site settings. And almost at the very bottom, there will be a line called automatic downloads. I think this slider is enabled for everyone. So that nothing is downloaded automatically, you need to turn it off, of course, and without your knowledge, absolutely nothing will be downloaded automatically. Your smartphones have settings that transfer your personal information from your phone to specific sites that you visit. You can simply search for something in the browser, click on sites, and at this time these sites will gain access to various personal data that is absolutely not desirable to give to anyone. Of course, all this affects your privacy, and you don't need to share your personal data with anyone at all. On the pages you view, there may be embedded content from other sites, for example, images, ads, and text. In general, of course, turn this off. And when we go back, look, we already have embedded content, it will be blocked, and no one will get anything without your personal permission, and the data will be intact and safe. Many phone users have such a question: how to clean the browser of unnecessary information, accumulated junk, accumulated garbage? And in general, possibly, you entered something wrong somewhere, and sites saved unnecessary information, personal information, possibly even downloaded something from your smartphone or gained some access that really should not have been given. And of course, to allow any sites to dig into your smartphone at all. Now let's quickly go through certain browser functions. So, look, go to the Google Chrome browser. Then click on the three dots at the top right and go to the Settings tab. Then scroll and find privacy and security. Click. Then you need to find the line called Clear browsing data. It has several useful tabs. These are delete cookies, site data, clearing, and clearing history and cache. In general, everything is here in combination. And here you need to know what to click so as not to lose any important data. Well, and to delete what we don't need. There will be a specific list here. So, first, browser history. Look, usually it's set up like this. Here are two checkmarks, and then it's empty. Well, very rarely is anything else set. By the way, write in the comments, how are the checkmarks set for you on the first entry. Browser history is the pages you visited, searched for something there. The browser remembers them itself to access them faster later. Well, and to make it easier for you to return to specific information that you were looking for. In general, if you really want to hide from someone what you were looking for, then this is a very good setting in terms of cleaning up traces of where you have been in this browser. Next, cookies and site data. This item deletes data specifically from those sites where you logged in with an account. That is, your accounts will be deleted from these sites, as well as your data. Also, files are used to show you a lot of ads on your phone. That is, for example, you visited some site about phones, looked at some model, and then this site starts sending you ads. It is precisely because of these files that have accumulated that you get such advertising. Next, images and other files stored in the cache. That is, again, this applies when you open some picture. It is automatically saved. And it is saved in the cache. You don't see it, but it remains there forever until you manually clear this saved cache. I recommend cleaning this line, of course, and not being afraid. Next, sites with saved passwords. Often, when you enter logins and passwords somewhere, the site automatically saves this login and password so that you don't have to enter it later. That is, it remembers it. If you clear here, you will have to log in again to any site that you previously logged into with a password or login. So here, look, delete with caution. If you generally remember all your passwords, if they are written down somewhere, then this is very good and, in principle, you can delete them. But if you don't remember half of the passwords, then, of course, this deletion will result in a complete cleanup. Autofill data, this is personal data that you may have left on some sites. This is your full name, your phone number, or some other information that you have entered somewhere on sites. If it is saved, then there will be autofill. If you want such information not to be stored anywhere, then, of course, you also need to delete this. Next, site settings. It is advisable to do such a cleanup if some site is glitching for you or, for example, you had normal access to this site. That is, you visited, everything worked normally, but then for some reason it doesn't work anymore. That is, it means something has gone wrong in the settings, something is not right. And you need to reset to default. Many people experience various slowdowns, pages load poorly. Sometimes the browser freezes or thinks for a very long time after clicking on a specific product or on a specific link, on a web resource, on some video or audio that you wanted to listen to or watch. In general, for any of your requests and for the browser's operation in terms of performance. This concerns data processing using threads. So, to understand, for those who are interested in processors, there are, for example, a certain number of cores, and each core has its own threads. That is, for example, eight cores, eight threads, but there is an eight-core processor with 16 threads, that is, two threads per core. In general, this means that the more threads, the faster the information will be processed. That is, data processing will be parallel using multiple threads.
