Let me tell you a little in respect to the Antichrist, to destroy some of the traditions we inherited as Protestants. Here's some of the things I was taught about the Antichrist, and here are some of the things that now will be destroyed. If you're open to the truth, if you're really asking the Holy Spirit to guide you into all truth, then this is the time to have many of your traditions destroyed and challenged. Okay?
When I came back to the faith as an Evangelical, as a Baptist, I was taught the Antichrist would be a Jew, and he would claim to be the Messiah, and he'd get the Jews to worship him as Messiah and deceive them until the real Messiah shows up. How many of you heard that tradition? Let's focus, guys. Help me, help you. No side talks. Let's focus now. We've got a lot of meat to cover. How many of you was taught that? That's what I was taught, right? Ah, no, Paul, that's not biblical. That's all false.
Here's my challenge to every one of you. Here's my challenge. Every one of you, read every single chapter that mentions the man of lawlessness, the Beast, right, the man of sin, when we call the Antichrist, whether Daniel 11, which is often quoted in reference to the Antichrist, or Daniel 7, or Daniel chapter 9, or 2 Thessalonians chapter 2, or the Book of Revelation. You will not find a single place where the Beast, the man of sin, the man of lawlessness, is set to be a Jew. That's number one.
Number two, you will not find a single place where the Beast, the man of sin, says he's the Messiah. That's the second fact. Second fact. So, you will not find the man of sin, the man of lawlessness, said to be an Israelite ethnically. You will not find anywhere in the Bible it says the Beast, the man of sin, will claim to be the Messiah. You will not find that anywhere in the Bible. Now, if I'm wrong, may the Holy Spirit show me my error and correct me. But just to make sure, I went over the chapters that are often quoted to prove it, and I didn't see it. Daniel 11, 2 Thessalonians chapter 2, Revelation 13. And read, nor will you find anything that explicitly connects the Antichrist with the Mahdi figure of Islam, which is now become popular amongst evangelicals.
Let me shut down that theory. Let me show you why the Mahdi figure of Islam cannot be the Antichrist of the Bible. Are you ready? Let me show you why the Mahdi. Yeah, well, in Shia tradition, be the 12th Imam when he reappears. In Sunni tradition, the Mahdi is from the bloodline of Muhammad. He will be named Muhammad, and he will unite the Muslims, and then he will be opposed by the Antichrist, and then Jesus will come and join him. Do you know why the Mahdi figure cannot be the Beast? Contrary to what evangelicals will tell you. Are you ready? Are you guys listening? You ready? Okay.
If you read Revelation 13 and 2 Thessalonians chapter 2, and even Daniel 11, if you take Daniel 11 as a reference to the Antichrist, definitely it's Antiochus, but he's a picture of someone worse to come. The Beast, the man of sin, will make himself out to be God, will oppose the true God, and demand people to worship him as God, right? You hear me there? In Islam, the Mahdi, for the Muslims to follow him, cannot claim to be God, cannot demand worship as God, because that goes against Islam, and Muslims won't follow him. That's the first problem. That's the first problem.
Second problem, in the Islamic tradition, in the Sunni tradition, in the Sunni tradition, the Dajjal, the false Messiah, the Antichrist, will be one-eyed, and he'll have written on his head "Kafir," and he will do miracles to convince people to worship him as God. Therefore, the Mahdi, if he claims to be God, then for the Muslims, that's the Antichrist, not the Mahdi. So then, how can the Mahdi be the Beast of Revelation 13 when the Mahdi cannot claim to be God? Because then Muslims will think he's the Antichrist, not the Mahdi, and won't follow him.
But you Christians, especially you Protestants, more so than Catholics and Orthodox, you run and attach to every novel interpretation as if it's gospel truth, and you get excited, "Oh, the Antichrist, the Antichrist!" But you don't pull back, breathe, logos, and think like a good Berean, Acts 17:10-11, instead of going and then meditating on the scriptures, asking the Spirit to illuminate you, and then going back, seeing what Islamic sources teach, and coming to a conclusion. That's why you have never heard me, and I hope I haven't slipped and said something saying the Mahdi is Antichrist. Have you ever heard me teach that? No.
Gary, your ex-wife's not the Antichrist. She's the false prophet assisting the Antichrist, because my ex-wife's the Antichrist. Oh, sorry, sorry Michelle. I hope you're not watching. Yeah, you're gonna get us in trouble, Gary. My ex-wife stalks my YouTube channel, you little sucker. You're going to get me in trouble. Hopefully, she's not listening. But to correct yourself, your ex-wife is the false prophet, the second beast. My ex-wife is the Beast. I'm just kidding, man. We're having fun. God forbid, may the Lord save them all, spite of how we feel. Yeah, Michelle, she does. She watches, and then she chimes in and attacks me. But anyway.
So let me repeat. Nowhere in the Bible, nowhere in the Bible, will you find the Antichrist said to be a Jew, said to be an Israelite. That's number one. Nowhere in the Bible will you see where it says the Antichrist will come and claim to be the Christ. Jesus does say there'll be false Christs, false prophets, but the Antichrist, the one to come right before Jesus, the sent one, you won't find in the description of that figure where he says he's the Christ. That's number two.
Number three, the Antichrist cannot be the Mahdi because in Islam, the Mahdi cannot claim to be God. But the Antichrist to come, he will claim to be God. He will demand to be worshiped as God and will do satanic miracles to deceive people and to worshiping him as God instead of Jesus. These are the problems with the traditional Protestant view of the Antichrist being the Messiah awaited by the Jews or the Mahdi awaited by the Muslims.
Moreover, do you know what an antichrist is? Do you know what an antichrist is? You brought up a very good point. Well, if the Antichrist will demand to be worshiped, how can he get the Muslims to follow him? Who told you? Who told you that Muslims will necessarily follow him? Who told you that? You will not find in the Bible that everyone necessarily follows the Antichrist. Moreover, if you read Revelation 12 carefully, and if you understand its interpretation, there'll even be ethnic Jews who won't follow the Antichrist but will be persecuted by him. You know that?
How do I know? If you read Revelation 12, the woman who's given the wings of an eagle to fly into the wilderness where she'll be provided for 1,260 days, that's the nation of Israel. That's typified in Mary, the Blessed Mother of Our Lord. It says the dragon will try to destroy Israel but fail, and then he's going to turn his attention to her children, those who hold the testimony of Christ. Well, those are the Christians, the church. That means many Jews won't follow the Antichrist but will be a target of his assault and attack. So don't be surprised. There'll be Muslims who won't follow him and worship him, so they too will be the focus of his attack. Everyone with me there?
So guys, let's stop speculating whether the Antichrist will be the Mahdi. He won't. Let's stop speculating whether the Antichrist will be an ethnic Jew who claimed to be the Messiah of Israel. As far as the Bible's concerned, he won't. The Antichrist will be a human figure filled with Satan, empowered by Satan, to demand the worship of himself as a God on Earth, in opposition to Jesus, and will have a false prophet doing miracles, signs, and wonders by the power of Satan to convince people by those physical miracles to worship him as their God instead of the true God.
Okay, now, what is an antichrist? Because sadly, even the Reformers, the Reformers like Martin Luther, John Calvin, said the Pope is the Antichrist. Can I explain to you why biblically the Pope can't be the Antichrist? Why he can't be the Antichrist, going just by the definition, the inspired definition of the New Testament, the Holy Spirit's definition of antichrist? Okay, exactly. DJ, next, right? Okay, now, thank Protestant my brother for posting. Let's go to 1 John 2:22-23. 1 John 2:22-23.
"Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father; he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also." If we go by this inspired definition, the Pope cannot be the Antichrist when he affirms and worships and loves the Triune God. He believes the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. You may accuse him of being a false teacher, a false Christian, an instrument of the devil, not saying you're right, but an antichrist as defined by John? No.
You know who the Antichrist is? Muhammad. You know who the Antichrist is? All the mullahs, all the Muslim apologists, all the Muslim debaters who say Allah is not the Father and Jesus is not a son, they are antichrists. Did you know that? In fact, let me show you how many antichrists there will be. 1 John 2:18. 1 John 2:18. 1 John 2:18. "Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that the Antichrist will come, even now there are many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time." Wait, there are many antichrists, and there'll be a final one that will appear before Jesus comes down physically to kill him. An antichrist is a Tovia Singer. Exactly. An antichrist is a Shabir Ali. An antichrist is a Muhammad Hijab. They are antichrists. And antichrists are all those medieval rabbis who hated Jesus and the God revealed in Jesus. Yeah, those are antichrists. Okay.
Modalism is a little tricky. They're not denying Father's Holy Spirit. They're denying Father's Spirit are distinct persons. Nevertheless, they worship a false god. Now, let me tell you how Unitarians are antichrists. Are you ready? Are you ready? How Unitarians are antichrists, meaning those who deny the pre-human existence of Christ. Let's go to 1 John 4 verses 1-6. 1 John 4 verses 1-6. Read with me.
"Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets have are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the spirit of God: how do you know a true prophet is speaking by the true Holy Spirit? Because there are evil spirits, unclean spirits, demons that inspire false prophets. Well then, how do I know this man is speaking by the true Holy Spirit or a false wicked unclean spirit? Here's how you know: But try the spirits whether they are of God, because many false prophets have are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the spirit of God." How do you know the true Holy Spirit is speaking through a prophet when there were prophets at that time? "Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God; and every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God." And this is the spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come. Okay, pay attention now.
Let's keep reading. Sorry about that. Hold on. Sorry. "Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world. They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us: he that is not of God heareth not us. If you're not of God, you won't accept the things that we say. Hereby know ye the spirit of truth and the spirit of error."
Now let's pause. 1 John 4:2-3. "Hereby know ye the spirit of God: every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God; and every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God." Now, you know what he means by coming in the flesh? Incarnation. John is the one who wrote the Gospel of John. By coming in the flesh, he's affirming that Jesus existed as the Eternal Word and Son of God and then became flesh from the Blessed Virgin. What John is telling you, if there's anyone who denies the pre-human existence of Jesus, who then became flesh, that one is the Antichrist. That's Unitarianism. These modern Unitarians like Anthony Buzzard and Carlos Xavier, they don't believe Jesus existed as the Divine Son, Word of God, before creation, that he was there as a living conscious person before creation who then became flesh, came in the flesh. They believe Jesus began to exist when his mother conceived him in her womb. So, in a way, you can say it applies to Modalism, because to Modalists, the human Jesus didn't exist as a Divine person, but came into being, came into existence when Mary conceived him, either as the human nature of the Father or a human being indwelt by the Father. So, in a way, in that understanding, it can apply to them. In that understanding, right?
So, what is an antichrist? Someone who denies the pre-human existence of the Word of the Father, the Son of the Father, who then came into the flesh when he entered the womb of the Virgin Mary, took flesh from her blessed womb by the Spirit. That's the Antichrist. Are you now learning the proper definition of an antichrist? Yes. Ender, an antichrist is one who denies the pre-human existence of Jesus, that Jesus existed personally, consciously, was there existing as a distinct person, as a living conscious person with the Father, who then came into the flesh. That's what it means, Christ came into the flesh.
Okay, now, 2 John. It's only one chapter. 2 John chapter 1. It's only one chapter, verses 7 to 11. Exactly. Phil, how you going to say the Pope is an antichrist? Even if you're anti-Catholic, how does the Pope deny any of this? The man is a die-hard Trinitarian. Second John is only one chapter, verses 7-11. Read with me, guys.
"For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist." Who? The one who says Christ did not come down from the Father to become flesh from the Virgin. This is affirming the pre-human existence and incarnation in flesh of that pre-human existent Son, Word of the Father. "For many deceivers, please Lord, I hope I'm not a distraction to my neighbors, please my God, for many deceivers are entered the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward." He's warning the Christians, be careful because you can lose your reward and your salvation. Guard yourself so you don't lose your reward. Watch here.
How do you lose your reward? "Whosoever transgresseth, whoever sins willfully in this manner, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God." What does he mean? If you turn away from this doctrine of the pre-human existence and incarnation of Christ, and you follow this falsehood, you've lost your salvation. You've lost the reward. You're cut off. You're dead. You're damned. "He that abideth." But if you remain in this teaching, remaining present active, this doctrine of Christ, you have both the Father and the Son.
"If there come any unto you," right? Any unto you, verse 10. Read verse 10. Okay, go back. "And bring not this doctrine." If someone comes and doesn't give you this teaching that I'm giving you by revelation, Holy Spirit, do not receive him into your house. Don't show him hospitality. Don't give him lodging. Don't feed him. Don't give him raiment, and do not support him financially. Neither bid him Godspeed, that God bless his work, because you're sharing in his deceit, in his lie, in his antichrist theology. For he that biddeth him Godspeed is a partaker of his evil deeds." You caught it? Do you caught it?
When it says, "Do not invite them into your house," it's not saying if a Jehovah's Witness knocks on your door, don't invite them and refute their lie. Invite in the house means do not give them lodging, do not give them room and board, do not give them food and raiment and support, because then you share in the damnation of their destructive, satanic, antichrist theology, and every soul they murder. You share in that guilt. It's like the reverse. Remember what I just asked you? If there's anyone of you that wants to give me lodging, God bless you. If I was a false teacher, and you said, "Hey Sam, I got a room for you," by giving me lodging, you now share in my work. So the more people I preach to and influence to accept this doctrine if false, you share in the guilt and damnation of my sin.
But if I'm preaching the truth, and the Holy Spirit is using me to preach the truth and get people saved, and you give me lodging and raiment and food and board and financial support, the blessing of that harvest will be credited to you, because God is using you to make my efforts a reality. So every soul that the Spirit uses me to save, you share in that blessing of that work. Okay, everyone with me there?
So, in this definition of antichrist, Tovia Singer is antichrist. Shabir Ali is antichrist. They are antichrists. Then why do we treat them as if they are bonafide, respectable scholars of their religion? I'm not saying debate them and be nasty and a jerk. Debate them, decimate their arguments, but don't give them a platform or any respect. Do you think that John the Apostle would show any respect? Any respect to Shabir? In fact, I was just sent the quote by Eastern Orthodox apologist. Was it? No, I don't think it was him. I'm sorry, brother. When John the Apostle saw Cerinthus, the father of the Corinthian heresy, Gnostic heresy, it says that he ran from the bath. Was it a the bathhouse? And he ran from him, saying, "The firstborn of the devil, the firstborn of Satan," and ran away from him. Wouldn't even entertain him and remain in his presence. That's what church tradition says John the Apostle did when he saw Cerinthus, the Gnostic heretic, the father of the heresy known as Gnosticism. Guys, take my word for it. Go on Google. Put John the Apostle Cerinthus, C-I-N-T-H-U-S. It says John saw him in a bathhouse, ran. He goes, "Run, the firstborn of the devil!" Satan! Wouldn't even sit in the same room with him and wouldn't even dignify his presence.
But then you got some like James White bringing in Yasser Qadhi into the church, throwing him curveballs, praising him, saying, "You are my mentor, and my community needs you to do a video on Jihad." Low life who thinks that he is a gift to apologetics and that he's doing apologetics to the glory of God.
