The attention span is short on the shorts, right? You have to be immediately to the point and you cannot go over 12 seconds. And if you could make the front and the back loop or come together seamlessly where the viewer watches it a second time without realizing it. That'll help a lot.

And when you label your shorts, label it with the hashtag shorts with an S at the end. It's the only label that needs to go on it that's tagged with 1.4. 4 billion, you know, uh, shorts and all that is helpful.

And if you can play some music in the background, music is a tool to drive emotions, right? Just take take it from, you know, the movie theaters. You know how they play some orchestra and all of a sudden everybody's crying? You know these are tools that is used ace 10 on deck but 12 seconds or less go straight to the point cut out any gaps and and uh you're you can also cut out a split second every like three or four like two two or three seconds. Just like Mr. Beast editing, that Mr. Beast editing where they cut they they cut a scene out every two or 3 seconds catches the subconscious eye. The the the the conscious eye doesn't see it, but the subconscious eye does. And once you start seeing it, you see that editing everywhere. I see it so much it makes me sick. I can't stand it. But it works. A uh example of that is the the short that I used uh showing off my uh massage my homemade massage uh gun. every like two or 3 second. Every like two seconds I cut like a second out of the frame, but it's noticeable there. But you'll see that the subconscious wants to follow it in s, you know, it wants to follow it. It's interesting.

Shorts are fun. I haven't done shorts in such a long time, but uh it's fun. And then there's certain times a day that when you release the shorts, right, is is good, right? Because if if you're releasing it when nobody's watching, then it's going to show as underperforming from the get- go, you know, and then YouTube's not going to be like, ah, maybe we should should push it out, you know? You got to release it at the right time of day as well.

[Music] King 10 on deck. Tags. No tags. The only tag you hit it with is shorts. That's the only one. Don't hit it with anything else. You You'll just watch it skyrocket. All right. Queen 10 on deck. Let YouTube figure out what category to put it in.

[Music] Now, here's a method I like to use. Now, you start the short off. Let's say you're saying something inspirational, right? Where where the the point of it is at the end, right? But cut that end part where it comes to the point and put it in the beginning. So when the viewer comes across it, it looks like they're just like viewing it halfway through the short. Then the beginning is presented and then they watch it again. Before they know it, they watch it three times, right? King 10 on deck. There's all sorts of cool little cool little things with shorts. I I really miss doing them.

[Music] Now, recently I've been taking all my analytics, doing screenshots on them, and uploading it into Grock, the um AI that's offered on the X platform, because it's free and you can do unlimited uploads to it. So, I'll I'll plug in all my YouTube analytics into that six. And then I'll let the AI tell me a rundown and I can ask it like general questions about what's actually going on. So, it's all good advice. It's all good advice, right? We're just learning along the way. But I tell you what, if you guys want to see some examples of high highly edited uh shows that catch the subconscious eye and and keep you retained. Look at Coco Melon, that children's show. That's that's just like a it's just like uh flipping a screen. It's crazy.

Hey, Shirley. Le Point is at church, but asked me to drop this $2. Hey, thanks Shirley. That's awesome. Another another super highly edited show is uh Kill Tony the comedian. During the ver the first few seconds, you'll see the camera pan off to the corner, boom, to this side. Out here, totally different shot. zoom in somewhere stupid, right? And all these little side by sides get the subconscious like attracted like what the heck's going on here, right? And then you're locked in and then you see the editing slowly fade out. Uh, you know who also uses that? It's all Mr. Beast editing. You know, Mr. Beast started that stuff, the really quick quick get your attention stuff. But um the gym bros, you guys ever see the gym bros and they're super Oh my gosh, it's it's the same way, right? But it works. People get attracted to that. I personally because because once you see it, you can't unsee it and then you see it everywhere and then you just like you can't watch nothing after you you learn the trick. You're like, "Oh man, this is too much." You know, I tell you, man, now that you guys know, you're going to look in everything different. Yeah, I just ruined everything for you. I just ruined all of YouTube for you. Look at me like, "Oh no, what the heck's going on?"

Jace says, "Hey, member for 11 months. Has it been 11 months, Jace?" That's awesome. Says, "Surely is my girl. Happy Sunday." Happy Sunday everybody. Thank you Jay. Thank you Shirley. Here we go. Uh 10 on deck. Oh man. Yeah. I want to do my hamstrings. My hamstrings are long overdue.

So when you see like a intro an intro to whatever show you're watching and they do a bunch of flashes like boom boom boom boom boom you know shows you a bunch of things that's all to catch your uh subconscious get it get it you know prepped. Right? Because all these shorts that we're watching, the swiping, it's all about instant gratification and the serotonin, you know, boom, boom, a little dopamine hit. Boom, boom. You know, so there's a method behind it. And once you learn it, you see it everywhere. Queen Tan deck.

How do you edit the videos? cutter. You got to go into uh YouTube Studios. So, you got to download the app YouTube Studios, right? And then you'll have editing options and that's all free. And then but better than that if you can download your if you just make the video on your phone and then you download like a kind master one of those free video editing apps that's where all the real fun uh dials and filters and uh AI will like like if you got a song playing in the background like I could be listening listening to music right now and you guys would never hear it, right? Because the AI would cut it out for me. Yeah. Yeah. Like the best thing you can do is get a uh free editing app and then download a free thumbnail maker app where you can make professional looking thumbnails. Cuz honestly, it's about, you know, the picture that they come across is going to be the the clickbait, right? You got to be able to catch them on uh just scrolling through if they're not famili familiar with you. You know, you got to have like because that when you see everybody's thumbnail just scrolling through um, you know, YouTube, everybody's like looking surprised or looking like they're about to tell you something important, right? Just to catch you to stop, right? So everybody's face is like, "Can you believe my jar is empty?" You know, that's the thumbnail, you know, and everybody's like or it looks like you're like in the middle of telling telling some somebody something special, right? You know, like you you got to catch them.

Nine on deck. And then when I'm looking at these YouTube blocks, right? You know how like when you're scrolling on your phone and you see this guy, this guy, this guy, and then in the corner you got like a little corner of just like a sliver of somebody's screen, right? Barely poking through. So when you're when you're making your thumbnails, you got you got to be aware of that little corner that is barely poking through, you know, that's visible because like like my daughter when she wants to pick something on TV, she'll pick out the very littlest corner and be like, "Oh yeah, that's the one I want." I'm like, "How do you know?" And then I'll flip it over. I'm like, "Oh yeah, of course that's what she wants." But you got to you got to utilize those little corners that are being pull pulled up as well.

Two on deck. 10 is the next one. Queen that will be 10 as well. Saturn. Saturn was clear last night.

Jace cutter says, "When should I make a video verse a short?" Well, I would I would make a just Well, YouTube rewards creators who do utilize everything. If you post something on your community post, if you do shorts, if you do live streams, if you do videos, you and you're consistent, YouTube sees that you're doing everything that they're offering and that's what they want to promote. And you being consistent by doing it generally at the same time every day, uh, YouTube rewards them. YouTube rewards consistency. So you got to do everything. It's not just one or the other, right? If you want favorable algorithm, you know, you got to just be consistent.

Five on deck, you know, for a while I was just doing shorts and videos, you know, and then then the community's like, "Hey, man, we need a a live live stream workout." And I'm like, well, I work out regardless, you know, might as well put a camera on it. Hey, Sam. Thanks for all the jewels. Good morning. Sam says, "YouTube has your algorithm all messed up. There's only 13 people in the chat." Well, this is the members only. Members only. This is just us chilling, kicking it. Yeah. The few
