Anybody? Let me give you a second here to get the warning. Uh, so I want to continue with my karmic relationship series, twin flame soul ties series where we focus on the specifics of karmic relationships, alchemical relationships. Uh, this is some of the, you know, the hallmarks of each relationship that are both karmic and based in compassionate non-attachment. So we can understand the difference between them and some of the difficulties involved in karmic relationships and how we can negotiate those. What can we do about it? Astrology can be very good at describing what's going on, but it doesn't, unless you know astrology well, it it doesn't always automatically just give us an answer about what to do about it. So, this is a series that hopefully is going to give you some insight into some of the hard aspects in your own chart that uh may be showing up in your life.
Machine, did you join my channel? Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Now you can be part of the inner circle. I show up a lot more, um, a lot more less refined, if that makes any sense. Um, you know how you are around family, you just got to let it all hang out. Tusca, what's up? You need to join me. I still haven't figured out how to do that on YouTube. We may just have to, you know, find a way to do that on Facebook and then we could post it to YouTube.
So, covert and overt manipulation in relationships. They're both meant to control, but they're different in how we use our power. If we have masculine planets involved, if we have, uh, you know, Sun, Moon, obviously, the outer planets, it's more likely that we will be more overt or obvious or even more conscious about our our methods of manipulation or control. We can use more fear, intimidation. If we are dealing with the feeling planets, the Moon, Venus, that doesn't mean we can't have both going on here, but Moon and Venus to outer planets is typically going to show up as more covert ways of employing our power. Um, using manipulation because manipulative tactics, either covert or overt, are defensive ways of being, and we're using what tools and methods are at our disposal. We're using what we know when we are manipulating.
Overt manipulation and misuse of power does tend to come with fear. More obvious fear. Venus and Moon stuff comes with guilt. The covert form of manipulation, we can be using more guilt rather than brute force or obvious power. We'll use our emotions. We'll use our feelings. We'll use our dependencies, and we can be having those used against us if we are in a relationship with someone that is still developing their emotional maturity. So, it takes longer to understand and see when we ourselves are in a pattern of covert control manipulation, or when we're involved in a relationship, or when someone else is using those methods. And we're more likely to understand our involvement, or have someone else understand their involvement, if we're dealing with more conscious or outward-going planets, ego planets, action planets, not the feeling planets, not the planets that are, uh, describing our inner life or our unconscious processes or habitual emotional patterns. That's very, it's, it's harder to understand what's going on inside that requires insight. And so there's frequently more of a consciousness of guilt, doesn't, or our awareness of self, or what we're doing, uh, with with the other, you know, outer planets, but it, it doesn't necessarily imply willingness to change.
So with covert manipulation, or experiencing covert manipulation in relationship with someone else, rarely if ever will they understand or agree that they are manipulating. We don't know we're doing it because if we are, we're usually doing it with an attitude of, "But that's what I have to do in order to get my needs met. You know, if I don't manipulate you, how am I going to achieve the kind of security or, or the kind of safety, the, the kind of fulfillment, the kind of belonging that I need? How am I going to manage my emotions?" And so it's, it's a, a very immature attitude that we often do not know that we have. We don't know that we hold this kind of attitude before we've dealt with our own emotional landscape. Because if, if we're coming from that, we've come from an environment where manipulation has been foundational to our habitual emotional patterns, our, our, our coping mechanisms. And so it's just like when you've had some white noise in the background, you really forget that it's there. It becomes, you don't, you just don't notice it anymore. It's so normal and so common. But when it's turned off, all of a sudden you can, wow, really hear a difference. That quiet, all of a sudden. So, this is how those processes can work. They can be very much, um, you know, manipulative methods. They could be very, very ingrained and part of our process of how we deal with emotional or intimate conditions or situations or ties in relationships. But when we come to our, into our emotional maturity, it actually is very surprising at how quickly we can flip that switch from, you know, employing some unseen tactics or using our emotions or our needs. The covert types of manipulation can actually be pretty quick when we understand the process. We understand that, "Oh, that is manipulation," or "That is a way of keeping something or someone," or "A misuse of power."
When it comes to the Moon and Venus again, it's, it's so primary. It's so much of what we've been taught. That's so much a function of where we've come from and who and what we've been raised around that again, the, the habit of it, the regularity makes it hard to see, acknowledge, and understand as manipulation. So, I'm always surprised at how fast people can come out of those infantile patterns once they, uh, understand what it is. Just because something is normal and feels normal to us and like, "Well, this is the next thing," does not mean it's healthy. And that is a, a mantra when we're talking about manipulation.
So, it's harder to understand that it's going on in relationships when it's covert because we can have guilt, needs, feelings be the tools. But if you have that undercurrent of unease, if you feel a dread, if you feel trapped, you have to look to your feelings because if it's covert manipulation, it can't easily be seen or pointed out or spotted. Sometimes it can be so subtle that it shows up in only your feelings. And when it is covert, we may not give legitimacy to those feelings because we can't prove it. We can't really point to it. It, it doesn't, it's like just out of the periphery of our vision. When we turn to look at it or get a real good look at it or define it, we can't see it anymore. Just the feeling is enough because that is not present. That unease, that is it, isn't it? What's going on? That suspicion that is not present in relationships that are based in compassionate non-attachment because you are sure that the other person has your best interest in mind and at heart at all times. We don't know that when we are in karmic relationships or when we are still ourselves employing manipulation. We're not safe. If we're dealing with someone, we're not safe. If they're like that, if we're like that, we are not safe ourselves as a person. And so just that feeling, just that unease, just that wondering, that suspicion, that is enough. Because if you're wondering, if you're looking, if, if it's something that, that can't be defined, it, you have to trust that just the, the lack of total safety. That's enough. Something has to be looked at here. Something is off. Something is wrong, or you wouldn't feel this way.
So, it's so much easier when we're dealing with overt manipulation. It is because we can see it and we can name it. We can often catalog it or prove it somehow or take a picture of it or get a video. And when we're in relationships where we have overt manipulation being used against us, I think sometimes we can wish that it was covert. I have had so many women over the years that have come to me that have been in covertly abusive relationships that have said, "I wish he would just hit me. I wish he would just hit me or do something that, you know, makes it so I can know I can know for sure that it's abuse. I can know for sure that it is manipulation." Because that does make it cut and dry. And so when we have overt, I'm sorry, covert manipulation being employed in a karmic relationship, it actually can take you further. It can be more of a chronic thing. It can last longer because we may not have those obvious answers or those obvious run-ins, those obvious flare-ups where we can finally point to something and say, "Look, look, you see it's a black eye. You see, I have every reason now to pay attention to my feelings." Just your feelings are enough.
So when we're in healthy relationships, we don't wonder. We don't look. We don't try to catch something out of the periphery of our eye because there is a feeling. There is a knowing feeling of trust and help. It's like in your, in your guts or in your bones. It's like your body knows it. When we're in a relationship where manipulation is involved, that means we are not either one or both of us 100% acting in the other person's best interest. And there's something that's subtle or not so subtle, depending on the relationship, that is like an antenna that is receiving something creepy. So know that if it's going on, it's because something is going on. If you have that feeling, something is going on. You can completely relax once you work through your karmic processes and you come into relationships that are about a win-win. You are both equally acting in each other's best interest. There is a relaxation and a peace and a lack of vigilance that's present in those kinds of dynamics. So, yeah, the body does know. Tusca, absolutely. You've got to pay attention to your nervous system when you are relating somebody. If you're in that wired, uh, vigilance state, or if it's that nervous state, or if it's that, that excited, like on the edge of your seat state. Now, some of that is justified in the early stages of relationships when we're going through the, the chemical falling in love biological process. Um, that's some of it that, you know, gets you into that, uh, it's part of the biological hook, hook, hook, hook of, uh, falling in love. But if you're in that consistently, or if that is something that marks a relationship, um, in a taxing way, or overtime, if you're nervous, if you're on edge, if there's vigilance there, if there's anxiety in the relationship, you either yourself have not worked through your own anxiety and triggers and attachment problems, and you may be seeing things that aren't there. But very frequently, when we are experiencing anxiety, we're in a dynamic that is producing anxiety. When we've come into relationships where we're both in a win-win, we both have each other's best interest at heart, and we know that we have faith in that, there's no feeling of being on edge. You don't have that, that feeling right before you give a speech, or right before you go on stage, or right before that person that you've got the hots for picks you up. We can have, you know, appropriate giddy moments, but our nervous system is not wired and tired like it is in relationships where we have some kind of undercurrent of unease or manipulation present that keeps us always kind of, or fully on edge.
So, we're always, yes, somebody just said it, waiting for the other shoe to drop. Um, that's that suspicion, trust issues, uh, vigilance, looking for the next thing to, uh, prepare against, or to fight against, or defend against. You do not have that dynamic in a healthy relationship where peace and trust are the foundation. Now, if we are used to, if our nervous system is used to that being wired and tired feeling, you will associate relationships, especially hot and cold relationships, or, um, dangerous relationships. You will associate that with love, very likely, before you work through your issues and, and through what your nervous system has been exposed to and is associating with home, with, uh, love, with romance, with partnership, our parents. And so we can, our, our nervous system, our how we're wired can be very much addicted to dynamics where covert or overt manipulation is employed because that is a kind of glue. That is something that, you know, recycles these patterns within us that can keep us from breaking those barriers in our nervous system. So, we have to pay attention to, is am I being treated well? Because our nervous system can tell us one thing. When we're around someone, we can have that butterflies in the stomach, on edge, we're, we're all there. It's, it's adrenaline. It's chemistry. But how do they treat you? What do they think of you? Do they have your best interest in mind? See, these are two different things. Sometimes we get both of the things in, in one. Sometimes we get the good stuff and we get the overwhelming chemistry. But for most of us, if we're dealing with hard aspects in our chart, or if we're, we're in relationships, are experiencing either covert or overt manipulation, we are probably attracted to relationships that are high chemistry, or that are high charged, or that bring, have some kind of anxiety within us, but they may not be healthy. They may not be life-affirming. They may not be mutually respectful.
So, is that love, or is that attraction and attachment? If we don't have the admiration, the safety, the respect, the security, if we don't have reasons to say, "I, you know, I have this warmth and, and this affection and, and this draw, you know, towards you. This is, this is love." That's love. Attraction and chemistry can go with love. But especially in the Western world, in the modern world, we've been taught and trained that attraction and chemistry, that is love. That, that is what it looks like. That's what you should be looking for. That can be attraction, chemistry can be there with peace. It can be there with safety. Usually, we'll have much more experiences of attraction, chemistry, and, um, Twitter patient, what is the word? Hold on. Infatuation, the early stages of love, that can turn into love. A lot of times it doesn't. It will dissipate, or we'll work our way through it. It, you know, that's all there was. There wasn't really appreciation or compatibility or, um, you know, much in common or, or values. And, and we have to be willing to let that chemistry go and not try to pin that down or make it into something that's more. Prove it, or change it, or control it, or contain it. That can absolutely lead to a relationship where we are using manipulation.
So, we need to know the difference between attraction, chemistry, and love, devotion, compatibility. We don't have to have just one because if we just believe in just the compatibility part, that's a cynical way of looking at relationships. You know, we can only have the potato. But if we're just believing that love and relationships are about the chemistry and the attraction, we just have the sour cream. We just have the topping there. We can have our potato and our sour cream in the age of Aquarius. In the past, we've really only had the potato. We've had relationships serve a, a very materialistic, practical marriage, long-term relationship, or a very materialistic, practical end. It doesn't like that anymore. Going into the age of Aquarius, we choose relationships now because we do not have those old age dowry templates going on anymore. If both parties coming into the relationship work and support themselves and have their own thing going on, or sovereign human beings, there isn't the slavery contract that's there. There isn't the automatic that toxic difference in power that's there. So, we're working through a lot of these old ways of being really very quickly and in mass. That's why we're seeing a lot more alchemical unions and twin flames and people where they're meeting somebody and it is sparking the deepest, most intense cleansing and healing in their attachment systems, in their subconscious, in, you know, through all layers of being. This is how we are being prepared for a new global way, which it's going to take about 250 years to really come in and solidify, but it's a new global template for what romantic relationships are, what they're for, and how they function, and how we function within them.
Gemini, yes, very good. Maybe a grand scale karmic debt being released. You better believe it. That's exactly what's going on because we're having the shift of the ages with the outer planets moving through, uh, 20, 2025. Sorry, I keep, I'm working on the calendar for 2027. So, in my mind, I'm already living in 2027. Yeah. So, we do have to remember that Neptune and Saturn coming together at that zero degree Aries point, that has not happened for a very, very, very long time. It's the end of an era of humanity and begins, it's like the, it's like the dawn, or the, um, the break of day where dawn just peaks through is where we're coming to in the age that's going to be, oh gosh, you know, I have to look exactly, but we're looking at about a thousand-year period here, about, that is being born. And this is the age of chaos. It will be very chaotic until about 2032. Until about 20, uh, 2067, I think. 2067. That's when things really, really start to level out in terms of, uh, the, the totality of the old era washing away and the rebuilding process really being in full swing. So, us identifying where manipulation exists in our relationships, overt manipulation, covert manipulation, and rooting that out, not participating in that, not using that, not allowing that to be used against us. That's our part that we can play in positioning ourselves for personal relationships where trust and safety are what we're motivated by. We've come into a place right now of maximum amount of trying to get away with what we want to get away with. And when you're operating in a way where you are not employing manipulation, either overt or covert, or you are not participating in it, you're not allowing it to be used against you, you're coming from a place of unconditional love. And so that's where we are this month, this particular month, right now, and into next month as well. Yeah, I, okay, this month and next month, we'll stretch it out a little bit because we have Neptune coming into that zero degree point of Aries. This is where we have these weeks that we're deciding, "Am I going to do what I've always done in terms of easy outcomes? Or am I going to be part of the birth of the new age?" What I call the seed people. Well, Dane Rudyar termed that phrase, coined that phrase, the infinite astrologer. He may have been my husband in a previous life. You referred to the people that are changing and alchemizing and really here at the door of the new age as the seed people of the age of Aquarius. And from us will come the full flowering of a thousand years. So, we are the fertilizer. You, me, all of us that are choosing each other, choosing ourselves, choosing relationship. See, you're taking away choice when you're dealing with manipulation, either covert or overt. There's some kind of taking away of choice, misuse of power that's not present in relationships in the age of Aquarius because we choose to control our own self and allow the natural consequences to occur. Because we're prepared for it to not go our way. That's part of going with the flow. That's part of reconciling yourself to reality is understanding that if you don't control it and it does what it does, that's because that's what it does. And it needs to be allowed to be what it is, who it is. So, manipulation is in service to keeping positioning. And when we grow out of that and we allow things to occur in their natural time, in their natural way, and the natural consequences of things to unfold, we allow things. That's when it becomes really clear what's for us. Manipulation makes it really hard to identify what's really for us because we're trying to keep things that may not want to be there. And so one of the primary rules of emotionally maturing is having a, this is my personal rule. I suggest it's a good rule to have. I suggest that you adopt it. Everyone who does not want to be in your life 100% of their own choosing gets to leave. They all get to leave. And that makes it really clear who really wants to be there.
So, we've had some really good comments here. Um, whenever Tusca shows up, there just seems to be a lot of note passing in class. She's one of my best friends, so she can, she can pass notes in the back of the teacher if she wants to, as long as they're funny. Um, oh, 1524. So, somebody else found the, yeah, 1524, but it's 0 degrees in Aries. It's even much, much, much, much farther than than that back, like a couple of thousand years. Uh, Gemini, I do feel a lot of hope in Gen Z growing up in an age that fully embraces therapy, for example, more self-awareness. That is definitely a hallmark of that generation. I've noticed that my audience, you know, 15 years ago, my audience was fairly astrology ignorant. The audience that I have now, because I tend to attract a, a pretty young audience, most of my audience has always been in their 20s and very early to mid-30s. They come to me knowing a lot. I mean, it is really different than what it was 15 years ago. Like the young people are already very educated. Like astrology is more like a part of their life culture. So I have noticed and, and, um, spirituality, Eastern religion, that does seem to be what is informing the younger generation more than traditional religion, which we do know is running its course. Tusca, you and Alan Watts. Yeah, we can totally see if he's your cosmic boyfriend. It'll be me and Dan Rudyar and you and Alan Watts, day. Um, uh, Reene, do I think Alan Watts speeches are legit? In one of his videos, he was talking about social media, but this passed away way before it appeared. Yeah, most of those are fake. Be aware that the Carl Jung videos that you're seeing on YouTube, the Alan Watts videos, the videos from past psychics, videos from scientists, videos from other astrologers, that is not them. Okay, Carl Jung did not make numerous videos about twin flames and about, um, you know, alpha males and all kinds of topics that, like there's no way. Um, Alan Watts's voice and likeness is being used to sell all kinds of topics that he never said anything about either. And so be really, really careful about what speeches you listen to because I would say the majority of them are not real. I feel really sorry for, you know, scientists like traditional scientists too, that have really worked hard for their reputations, and they're like, having their voice and their likeness put on really esoteric videos or astrology videos, or they didn't ask for that. They, they don't have those opinions. So, be very, very careful. I think that's why podcasts are so popular right now. People are really finding individuals that have some kind of, you know, proof of reality behind them. Um, that we're finding our information or our news from it. The trend is changing. I think a lot of that has to do with AI. That we tend to be coming in closer as things are more watered down or fake, or it's harder to understand what's real. We seem to be coming into like smaller groups or memberships because, you know, that we're all real here. Oh, I know, Tusca. That makes me sick. To use somebody who's passed away is especially disgraceful. I know. They, they can't defend themselves. Um, Ariana, I was wondering about a composite Sun square Uranus and Neptune, but also trine the Moon. We have Uranus and Century, but he's very Uranian natally. Okay, so Sun square Uranus and Neptune, but also trine the Moon. So, the Moon is probably sexile too. Uranus and Neptune. Well, emotionally, it's probably working. It sounds like there's a really good vibe going on there. Acceptance, forgiveness. It sounds like an undercurrent of, um, safety and tenderness. And there's some legitimately good things going on when it comes to a shared emotional landscape, shared moods. Um, but there are some things. Oops. Holding, hold on here. Let me plug in. There are some things that will need to be addressed regarding the reasons why you're together. The Sun in a square to Neptune does tend to reveal the truth about us over the course of time. We believe that we have found all that we're looking for with that square. It's the most toxic, one of the most toxic aspects to deal with in a composite chart. Some people do deal with it. They do. It can be present in a long-term relationship if you're willing to deal with the weighty disappointments that you will find out about each other over the course of time. That is going to, that Neptune disappointment is going to be exacerbated by those differences in, um, how you're, the Sun square Uranus differences in leisure activities, what, uh, you'll choose to do with your time, your definition of autonomy. We don't share a lot of the same kind of hobbies or pursuits or definitions of the good life with that square. So, there's a couple of things that are going to have to be overcome in terms of your differences, uh, in your basic personalities and your differences in the kinds of idealistic projections that you are casting on each other. So, there are some things to overcome. Some people can do it, and if there's enough content in the relationship, but the relationship has enough compatibility, you know, sometimes people can work through the, the difficulties. But for most people, that just the square from Sun to Neptune is going to be so much of a challenge that honestly, if you don't have enough body in the relationship, it's not likely to make. Anthony, what are the most planets in one sign you see in a natal chart? Oh, probably the planet, the natal chart from the 90s that some of you might have that is all Capricorn. Sometimes you see that one, um, that was a, you know, smaller blip of people that are very dedicated and very serious and probably have more isolated lives. Um, but what I see most frequently in my practice is probably Neptune in the seventh house or ruling the seventh house because I'm a relationship astrologer mainly. Thank you. And when Neptune is in the seventh or rules the seventh, we tend to have more dependency issues or issues with boundaries or, um, unavailable partners. It, it does tend to show up a lot in alchemical, the alchemical process or people working through limerence, obsession. So I see that one a lot. This is Violet. This is my granddaughter. I get to have her because my daughter, who actually owns her, determined that she has way too much papon in her and she's happier living as a wild woman in the country than she is happier here. Uh, Regina got Neptune and Uranus on the descendant. So, you would attract some very strange, creative characters into your life. Very innovative, I'm sure. And, um, odd. That is an odd combination. But it's also very humanitarian, very compassionate, and visionary. You have visionary people in your shadow side. All right, guys. I'm going to wrap up for today. Uh, Tusca, probably idealist, would you say? Yeah, very idealistic. Yeah, visionary and idealistic. Oh, Ariana, hold on. He slipped it right in there. Wanted to hear my thoughts on natal Cancer Mars says quick to Sagittarius Venus. Well, Mars is emotional and slow and feminine, which is not used to being. Venus is very masculine and even a bit aggressive and likes to chase things in Sagittarius. And we have a sesquiquadrate between the two. So, there's the conflict and that is linking two planets that already aren't archetypally suitable, you could say, suited to what their purpose is. Venus is supposed to be retiring and accepting, accepting. And Venus is chasing stuff down and hitting them over the head with a club in Sagittarius. And Mars is very emotional and easily wounded. So, it's a passive-aggressive nature that is linked with a need to understand this is sesquiquadrate, a need to understand flexibility, adaptability, while in the process of pursuit or gaining your passion because that's what Mars and Venus does. Mars acts on Venus. Mars gets what we want. And when there's a sesquiquadrate, we might just be right towards the end and experiencing some failure because we haven't adjusted or got in step. We haven't read the room. We haven't gone through the nuances of cooperation that Venus and Mars need to perfect. So, you need to be really careful to look at the details and the microcommunications that the partners and the people that you're involved with are sending out and learn to pay attention to those. Make it a habit. Break the, the sesquiquadrate way of tunnel vision because sesquiquadrates are very much like being just almost to the tippy top of the mountain, or almost finishing the, the marathon. You're like, "I'm almost there. I'm almost there. I'm almost there." And we block everything else out so we can get there. But there's things going on that are important that we need to be responding to. Even though we would like to just push forward, if we do that, if we dedicate all of our energy to just doing that because it's going to take longer to do things or get somewhere if we're doing sesquiquadrates, right? If, if we're being open and flexible and if we're looking, then we're probably going to have to pull back, shift back, address or include whatever's going on. Then we can put our shoulder back to the wheel. Um, [cough] so that's what I think, my dear. Uh, is Mars semisquare Venus similar to this? It is similar, but it's a square. It's a semisquare and then semisquares are where we tend to give up frequently before we begin. So, it is a, we don't have the tunnel vision or the extreme focus. We have more of the awareness of, "Wow, that's going to be really hard. Uh, maybe I'll just, you know, do something easier." And, and so we aren't as cooperative or as thorough. Um, we may even be somewhat ignorant of partners' needs or their pace, their, the object of our desire. Um, so we can, you know, pursue fast and hot, but it may be incomplete. And when we discover that the object of our desire, what, or what we want, what it is we're hunting or chasing, isn't as easy as, as we thought it would be, we may just peel off. And, and so we often don't get what we want with semisquares because we're not fully applying ourselves or giving into the reality that, you know, if I want this, I am going to have to work harder for it, or accept that the conditions that be, or the person, um, the situation presenting me with a bit of a hill to climb. But I think I'm going to do it anyway. Uh, all right, guys. So, I'm going to wrap up for today and I'm going to go right over to my subscriber group here on YouTube. If you're not in that group, grab a channel membership so you can join me over there and we'll go a little bit deeper with this and answer more questions, spend more time together. I'll see you tomorrow. We will pick up with another chapter in this particular module.
