We're starting Mars transits today. So, when we're talking about Mars transits, we're looking at how the impulse is, uh, being being forwarded. Qui story there. So, Mars transits to Sun is what we're going to look at first, which can be very, uh, galvanizing. Transits. These could be transits that have us putting our energy to the maximum test. Uh, if we are a timid, retiring individual, these can be the days of the year where we really push our own agenda forward, where we're able to stand up for ourselves in ways that normally, um, we would be too fearful of the consequences. Uh, we would be too thoughtful, we would be too much in our heads, we would not be acting on instinct. That's very much what Mars transits encourage. And Mars transits to the Sun, oh my God, do they ever encourage that.
Mars transit to Sun, Mars transit to Jupiter, these are fire energy together, which are going to produce more of an extreme result. We have two planets that share the same elemental meaning. What you going to get? You get more of that element. So, when we have the conjunction for Mars to the Sun, we do have to be careful about the force with which we assert our ego. We tend to forget, because it's a conjunction, we tend to forget that others exist. We tend to forget that others have feelings, that others can be offended, because it is so natural and it is so alive for us to stand up for ourselves, for us to push our own agenda forward in a very mirror reaction, mirror way. And we often are not very, if at all, conscious of the force that we're acting with with this conjunction. I have to say, when I have this one, I like it, but I do have to be careful. I am particularly obnoxious, but it feels good. It feels really good to have it because I get the conjunction of Mars to the Sun, and then Mars to the Ascendant, and Mars to Mercury all in a row. If you have that going on, if you have Mars hitting three, uh, planets, particularly like Mercury, which are more outgoing or extroverted forces, if you have a stellium involved, you have Sun and Mars involved, Mars is hitting both of those, perhaps, then it's going to be a period of time where we can be really very forward with everything that we do, and we will not see the consequences of that till we get to the opposition. We may see some pushback at the square, but we'll see the consequences of how far we push the envelope at the opposition. Feels good though, at the conjunction. I mean, as mindless as it is, it just feels really good to stretch. Feels good to say no. Feels good to be selfish, particularly if you are not consciously thinking yourself up that way. These are periods of time when Mars transits the Sun, particularly in hard aspects, where we put on our Wonder Woman and or our Wonder Woman underwear, and we do what we want to do. So, there is a lack of shame in how we use our masculine energy on these days. We can get a lot done physically with the conjunction. Oh my God, got a lot done. It is that if we do put our strength to test, if you have a buildup of Martian energy, which is frustration, the need to do something, feeling underutilized, um, it becoming difficult to deal with because your energy isn't directed towards something. You need to do something physical. You need to do something stupid. Even pick up a shovel, do something that you don't even have to think about. Do play a sport, do something that isn't necessarily a consequence. It's better that than bullying somebody or being obnoxious, because the energy of this, this is the maximum amount of brutal, unmanaged bullying is unmanaged masculine energy. These two. And if this is coming into a fire sign for you, as, oh my God, it is, you better be particularly careful because you can be more irritable. Well, if there's a, so Mars will be between the Sun and Mars. Well, there's already an out-of-step energy between how you're going to assert yourself on the one hand, and on the other hand. So, there's a lack of congruency there. Um, and then Mars is going to pump up the volume when it comes to acting on incongruent impulses. So, to be particularly mindful when it comes to responding to those knee-jerk reactions, because the knee-jerk reactions and impulses with the semi-sextile that you're describing, maybe themselves, um, they're out of sync. So, we have to learn that about ourselves, that what we're pursuing, um, not what, what it is that we are saying, the what is that we want to see, the kind of validity that we want, even the kind of relevance that we want, and how we're pursuing that. Let's get those two things and do a so what do we want, what we do, or different. All right. So, do not do too much with the conjunction. We can overstrain ourselves, but we need to do a lot. We need to hit our limit with this one when it comes to getting out that need to run, that need to punch, that need to do. But if we do too much, go over the limit, there will be consequences for that because we can get into this idea that, oh, we're superhuman. And then you have to look at it like a wobble. So, we're going fast, yay. But then if we get going too fast, we start to wobble. We'll, oh no, then we veer off and we crash because we're stupid. So, if you don't get stupid with these transits, we got a lot out of it. But you really have to look at it like, like a dude who's just like a meathead, you know, your archetype of the archetype of jock in high school, say, where, you know, he's really physically capable, no big guy, he's dumb. This is the energy of these. So, yeah, we can lift a lot of weight. We could bully if we have to. We can push through obstacles if we have to, even. But if you do push your luck, we will either strain ourselves or somebody might punch us. And because it's a conjunction, we'll be like, why? I'm just being strong. No, deserve to bloody nose because you're stupid. So, don't get stupid with these transits. Just don't. I've done it. Don't.
So that brings us to the sextile, where we can be entirely effective. It takes a lot of the inherent stupidity out of this combination. Sextiles are very intelligent. They have that nature of curiosity, cooperation. These are sextiles. They're not selfish aspects, but they're not selfless either. They're not like in conjunctions. We are including ourselves, but we're successfully including ourselves within the group, and there's a willingness to work and to cooperate. Yes, sextiles are, you know, in the natal chart, they are the quiet workhorses. We do not give them enough credit. They are awesome. They are awesome. And in some ways, they're better than trines because with trines, you get that effect of laziness or lack of appreciation or putting something to work for us, even though it's a gift. Sextiles, they do have this operational, actionary quality to them. Yeah, cooperation and inclusion. So, when we have these two, we want to work with others. Mars to the Sun, we want to accomplish a creative purpose or goal through inclusion of others' ideas, of energy, um, who are easy to get along with. We have to stand up for ourselves, we will do so, but it's not at the expense of anyone else or ourselves. We're not expending. That's the thing about sextiles. That's a good word for expense. We're not expending anything. We're not over or under expending. We're getting it just right. So, they're not exhausting days out of the year. They're not exhausting aspects in our chart, such as, say, in conjunction, where there's a massive over expenditure, tired health consequences. We have a like a steady feeding or steady payoff with a sextile. It's not huge, not like winning a lottery, but it is enough. It's enough to get by. It's enough to keep us going. It's enough to justify, justify moving forward. So, these are days where if we do cooperate with others, we can move mountains. To look at it like an Amish barn raising, you know, if we put our energy, if we put our efforts into something cooperative, it can be amazing what can be done in a very short amount of time. So, we have complimentary energies. We're looking to be complimentary. We may be complimented, quite literally complimented. It's even a good use of the word literally. I've been noticing lately that the word literally is misused. Constant had me, didn't think about, oh, I wonder if I'm using it correctly. Are that was I curious? When we have sextiles, and we have room with Mars, Sun sextile, to accept information where another hard aspect between Mars and Sun, we are not as to hear things that may not be in tune with what confidence or a sense of supremacy. H. So, so effective when we have this sextile and efficiency where we want to accomplish things. We may want to do physical things, but we don't want to waste. We want it to be as efficient and clean as possible. So, really, really good aspect that in your own natal chart. This style, the other aspects can lead us to not be as when it and of our anger through identifying appropriate things to chase, things to pursue, to that. There's a lot of force, creative generated when we Sun Mars aspects, Sun Jupiter, Mars Jupiter, Sun Mars, the fire planets when they get together, there's a ton of pursuing power, the power to go after something, to pursue it, to make it happen, to create it. So, if we have the easy, an easy relationship within ourselves between Mars and Sun, it's very easy to find validation through properly identifying, asserting our energy, chasing down and getting what it is that we want, feeling validated by. But we can have a problem with the Sun and Mars and semi-sextile, square, sign, opposition, signs and follow aspect each other. They have a hard time with our timing and with identifying what to pursue. Mars pursues, um, that is going to bring us that sense of tension, validation, ego strokes. And where do we have a positive, uh, surplus of creative energy? The easy aspects to solve difficult aspects. So, it's automatic when we have the sextile between transiting Mars and Sun that what we identify as worth pursuing is going to bring us a sense of personal satisfaction, inclusion of others' ideas, strength, inviting others, enrolling others in what it is that we're doing that day. And it could be as simple as, say, me deciding that, you know what, I'm gonna rake this acre garden today. I'm gonna rake the whole thing and just get it being nice and clean. And that's the equivalent to vacuuming in this area here. I'm going to rake the garden and then let me invite my family over and make sandwiches and put on music and and we're all gonna get on and on it together, and it'll be a nice pleasant day. So, it's a very simple example of enrolling something in something and some people in something that, you know, we see as worthwhile doing. And maybe it's not going to change the world. Maybe it's not something that is the most intelligent pursuit. Again, Mars and the Sun can be a meathead, but, uh, we got something done. Yeah, we got something good done. Maybe we weren't, uh, we didn't come up with the cure for the bird flu, but we did rake the garden.
All right, so that brings us to the square. We know that the square between the Sun and Mars is going to be spicy. Squares do represent conflict, and we have a maximum amount of potential for ego conflict when we have the hard aspects, Mars and Sun, because when we assert ourselves, we necessarily cause confrontation or experience confrontation as a result of that. It may not be something that we see. Say it's in a natal and it's in a conjunction, we'll still happen, still be a bit, you know, intense and scary, but we will know it. We will definitely know. And we may know it with conjunction if we really look for it, if we're really perceptive, and one, but we will see reactions with the square or the opposition, other hard aspects between Mars and Sun that do let us know in a very conscious way that we are pushy or irritating or entitled, difficult. Uh, we will likely see other people that way or as the cause. This is why we have to be the way that we are. We're very reactive. These aspects. But in transit, we can do so willing to punch somebody in the face. That especially with the square, that can reach out, punch, and then we're like, oh God, oh God. It's just a very impulsive, angry, needy. If we already have hard aspects between Mars and Sun, and then we have this come down, we need to be particularly careful. Or Mars in Pluto, or Pluto. We already have an ability to strike. We already have a predator instinct that's that's stronger than most. Uh, we can really get ourselves into trouble. Looking at you, Tasha. Look at a few of you get an outfit. We do have to be careful because in that moment, when we have this square, in that moment, it feels right. It feels like you're stepping on my toe, you're stepping on my toe, I have to poke you in the eye to get you off my toe. When really, if we take a second just to consider the severity of our reaction, we'll be able to control ourselves a little bit better. I think with the square or the opposition, it's almost in that we're going to, part of it, that's part of the lesson. Is what do my impulses do? What are they like? What is what are my natural reactions to be? These days that help us to see that. So, for some of us, our reactions, it can be like, if you step on our toe, we are going to murder you. For some of us, it's going to be like, if you step on our toe, we're just going to poke your eye out. The level of angst and anger and how we use our ability to defend ourselves. So, it's going to be different. Going to be individual, and it's going to be different depending on your level of maturity, how you've grown. Yeah, I'm much more apt to defend myself at this age than I was 20 years ago. Some people, if different, the dude I'm dating, you wouldn't want to mess with him 20 years ago. I wouldn't have dated him 20 years ago. You kidding me? It's sufferable, man. Easy at this point in his life because he's figured some things out. Oh, of course, a Sun-Mars conjunction in natal. So, it can depend on what stage of life we're at, how that assertive energy is handled. But sometimes it really hasn't flowered for us until we're older. And sometimes when we're older, we've realized that, wow, that's way that that flowered way too much for me. Had way too much of that going on. I've had too much aggression or misunderstood anger, and I need to dial that down. So, you know, Mars transits are going to be different. They are going to be stimulating different impulses depending on how we know ourselves and the level of those impulses. I think for most of us, for most of us, we will experience some amount of mistake or pushback or embarrassment or just just idiocy when we have Mars-Sun hard aspects. I think it's in the nature of it for these days of the year to show us that, oh yeah, maybe that was a little much, or, you know, call up our mob and apologize for going off, and you shouldn't have been that harsh. These are the days of the year we may have to apologize for our anger, but we get to see it. We get to understand it. If we don't have those triggers, because these are such triggering days, oh my God, we're so, so easily triggered. If we don't have those triggers, we don't have a way of knowing what's likely to erupt. We don't know what is in there. And then when we do get triggered, often now that we do know it's there, we know how to, we want to avoid that trigger and ideally deal with what was triggered. So we aren't limited. We don't have to avoid a certain trigger while we're healing. I think it's wise to avoid that trigger so we continue to rip open the wound that we're trying to heal. But then we're going to be in a position to be able to expose ourselves to a situation or condition or a person that previously would have been too painful or or it would have been too. The more triggers we have, the more limited we are. We have to avoid all the potholes. For some of us, the road is so riddled with potholes that you're like driving like this, like trying to avoid all of them. And sometimes you can't avoid it, you're still going through all of them, and you're doing your best to stay out of them. And you don't have so many triggers, the road is smooth, less smoother. So, these are the days of the year, the square, that we can make some pretty nasty mistakes in how we treat people, how we respond to people. Uh, we will feel like people are asking us to prove ourselves. The square or the opposition, asking us to prove how valid we are or how right we are. And if we respond to that lightly, because we want to do an over-prove, we want to do a yes, I'll prove you, and then I'll rub your face in the sand, prove it even more. If we're careful about that, we're not so arrogant, we can have a better time with the square. Uh, that will be an impulse, definitely to rub people's face in the sand and our to run dance. Uh, but don't do it. Just don't.
So we are willing to work. We have ample energy. We can identify things that we can put our energy into that are worthwhile. Uh, our meathead tendencies are a bit more intelligent with drawing. It's it's harder to get us riled up and to react in ways that are going to be destructive to ourselves or others. Uh, so our creative energy is, you know, effectively utilized with trine. There's not the being on edge that we associate with Mars-Sun because that edge is coming from looking for threat, hypervigilance. We don't have that hypervigilance at all with the trine because trines give us this relaxed perspective that we don't have. We lack perspective when we're dealing with tension or conflict. So, we have wisdom when it comes to what we should respond to, what we should put our energy into. We're not as dumb with trine, really at all. Um, whatever we have started, particularly at a conjunction, what was initiated, even if what was initiated was new ways of standing up for ourselves, new ways of defending ourselves, new ways of pushing our own agenda forward, we picked that up at trine. We might even finish it there. There's an interest in furthering personal agenda, and we could include others in that. We're not excluding at this time. Think there's a snag there, but we aren't, uh, yeah, I don't think that we're feeling at a loss. It's, it's a, it's a week where it's easy to feel like we're involved in a win-win, where especially the hard aspects, we can feel like, no, I have to win or succeed at the expense of someone else. Not at the trine. It's easy to see how we could all engage with each other or work on a project where we both get what we want out of it. So, like, if I go over and help my mom spread her gravel, she will come over here and help me saw some limbs down. I, it's easy to give our energy and get as much back. You see that frequency that I talk about in transit? Our frequency is subtly changing and drawing to it what it is. It's, it's this invitation to, hey, I've got, uh, this to give. I've got this extra muscle or time or energy or brainpower or resources. Uh, what if you've got? Let's put our heads together. So, there's no loss. There's only gain when it comes to dealing with people in our personal life because it is a trine. A trine offers a generosity perspective that is there. This can be a good week for confrontations that might be difficult but requires some measure of patience or perspective. So, we can get the best results out of how we try to defend ourselves, how we try to, uh, solve conflicts or push our personal agenda forward. There is a patience. There's a willingness to see what's good for all of us with the trine. Yeah, so I, the sting of the selfishness, a lot of that is taken out. We can still get what it is that's personally beneficial to us, but we're willing to see how we can engage with somebody else where they also get what is personally beneficial to them. We, we want that. It's not something that we're like, oh, do this, then I'll get that. No, we see the wisdom in it. We see that this is good for all of us. So, we can all build together. Good.
All righty, so let's look at the opposition. If we have impending conflicts, this will be the week that they can. We are challenged when it comes to patience, seeing somebody else's point of view. We can be very, very much focused on defending ourselves and making sure that we are not taken advantage of. Now, if we're in a situation where that legitimately needs to come forward, this may serve that purpose. Many times, however, we will not be in that kind of situation. We really do need to step up to the plate, but we could think that we are in those situations. Many of those situations throughout the week, especially if you already have overreactive Mars, uh, we could be very entertaining to watch because if we can act like a rum-skunk, just jumping around and stamping our feet because we don't get what we want, we played some games. So, it really brings up the immaturity in us or overreactivity to be very much on display. One way out the opposition, and this can be the response to how we were when we had conjunction. Be a good response though. How we were in conjunction was good. What we did, it was like a, a righteous amount of it contained a righteous amount of aggression for the right reasons. We can see the good payoff. And we have opposition, we were a little much. Have the conjunction function, we may see the results of that. A little backpedaling to do, opposition, or apologize, or maybe sending a little, a little card in the mail, depending on what it is that we did. So, it, it can be a humiliating time, and it can be a time where we are humiliating others, humiliating others, if we are not being self-aware about our impulses. So, at the conjunction or the opposition, we can really forget that, you know, other people can be hurt, other people can't be humiliated or embarrassed. We're just so focused on winning or or defending ourselves or making sure we're not hurt. We go too far with that. Or if we're not, we're not careful about where we're applying that, we get into trouble. Sometimes though, this conjunction and the opposition, these are awesome aspects because we actually do need this course because it's like this extra armor that we put on, and we will go up to battle and do some good work. The difference is going to be, is it really worth fighting for? Is it worth fighting for, or is it just because you're kind of mean? If we're unrighteously offended, we're wasting our energy. A bullishness that some of us need, and others are going to suffer from. So, I think if you really look at, all right, what, what is this for? What is this expenditure of anger or energy for? And if it's, yeah, you know, it's something that maybe you would tell your child to do, maybe it's worth it. Um, if not, then you're probably going to pay the price. And we'll pay a price by having somebody fight back with the opposition. Um, we can get ourselves into trouble by, yeah, by getting into serious conflicts. A day that's usually Mars-Jupiter aspects, actually. Um, opposition between Mars-Jupiter or, um, God, the opposition between Mars-Pluto too, like punishing, punishing workouts with that one. Yeah, absolutely. Sun-Pluto too. Ample physical energy. Yes. Sun-Mars people, God, with that in the natal or even just in the same sign, difficult aspect to each other, wow. The buildup of frustration, um, when it comes to what we, you know, what we want to pursue, and with the difficult aspects, and what we're not getting, it's just huge. We have to do something. Um, but the conjunction is interesting. They pretty much get everything that they want, but they have to get, they have to be constantly in motion. They always need to be pursuing something or have something that is so hard to get, they're so hard to keep, or so demanding that it's constantly a challenge. So, yeah, yeah, ladies, if you want to have a man or a woman who has these aspects and you want to keep them interested, don't play hard to get, be hard to get because you have to meet that frequency of selfishness. You have to give them something to do. So, think a lot of yourself, think well of yourself, don't be afraid to invest in yourself. Um, we do not use our energy efficiently. Difficult aspects, that's what we're learning. About efficiency with the easy aspects, even the conjunction, about efficiency with the opposition and transit. We can be massively inefficient when it comes to what we're fighting against or what we're fighting for, and not realize that, oh, wow, we just fed ourselves, and we were actually trying to efficiently push forward our own personal agenda. So, it's very much like the dynamic where you're like involved with a narcissist, and they're like, I'm going to be this way, I'm going to humiliate you and treat you all these ways because it's going to make it so I'm going to be able to keep you. The person they're with is like, by, that was a stupid strategy. And we have to recognize that it's a humiliating day if we are trying to humiliate people. Um, all right, so I think I'll wrap up with that.
