[Music] the 12th house is the house of endings, healing, closure, spirituality, solitude, karma, old-age, afterlife, what's hidden, limiting beliefs, and the subconscious.
this is the house of endings, where things go to die. the 12th house is where an old cycle ends, and the spiritual identity we have formed as the result of the experience of limited individual human identity goes on.
planets in the 12th house are acutely aware of flaws in reality, limitations, less than ideal conditions, and inadequacy in self and others, reaching for a spiritually perfected state that one knows exists but cannot access until the cycle of human experience is completed.
the 12th house is where we linger in self-doubt, where we search for something solid until we realize that nothing is solid. the true state of things and our self is fluid.
this is the house of karma, where the results of our cycle of human creativity will either synthesize into a unifying whole or prepare us for a new cycle of human incarnation. or we experience karma as an unconscious continuation of self-undoing. what we avoid unifying will disintegrate in the 12th house.
insanity is found in the 12th house, along with hospitals, prisons, and closed spaces, into dark places. for it is in the dark that things take a sinister shape because they are not known, not clear to the eye. how we avoid reality and the resulting insanity is a function of avoiding ourselves, avoiding the letting go of limited concepts so we can join in a new cycle of life.
we find the contents of the seed that will continue on and germinate into a new creative human experience, our birth in a new cycle. the contents of the seed is determined by the parent plant and the parent plants before it, our Karma in this and past lives. we have the chance to transmute impressions upon that seed that will keep it from growing into something healthy and free of encumbrances to its success when it germinates in the next cycle.
in the 12th house, we can reshape the seed born of human experience to not include genetic imprints that set us up for cyclical karmic lessons and treading the wheel of samsara. by letting go of limited beliefs, we end being a slave to karma and remember that prisons and confined places are found in the twelfth house.
we find both limitation of beliefs that lead us to being a slave to karma and the potential transcendence of those beliefs in the 12th house. isolation and loneliness is also described by the 12th house, the loneliness that is a product of lacking the willingness to transcend the bounds of human yearnings to surrender to the all.
the more we insist that the fantasies and illusions contained in the twelfth house be fulfilled by others and by life, the more we lose touch with the reality of others and the reality of reality itself. escapism is found in the 12th house, along with addictions that help us to alter or temporarily escape reality.
sanity comes from seeing reality as it is. clarity comes from seeing through the fog of collective illusion. the final and most important step to enlightenment or liberation from the past, the death from what was.
we reach our inclusive perfected state or swim in the isolating sadness of flaws and unfulfilled yearnings in the twelfth house. we dispersed in the twelfth house to permeate the entirety of everything. we become part of the greater whole and our that greater whole at the same time.
the twelfth house is the house of collective expression. the 12th house is where we have the potential to join the all-inclusive, the totality of the all of us, the singing out of our individual note to harmonize with the song of the universal collective.
