Why would you have so many location pages when you could just have one service page on your website that lists off all the locations that you work in?

This is a question that we got on a sales call the other day, and I figured, hey, if one person has the question, probably multiple people do. And here's why you want to have multiple location pages, why you want to have multiple service pages.

When someone is searching for the service that you offer, Google is trying to find the website or the page that best answers the question that they're searching for. And so if you've got a specific page for XYZ suburb, for XYZ service, now you've shown Google, hey, you are the authority on that page, you've got the best page for that, and then someone's going to land on that page. Google's going to show that page up. Someone's going to land on it, come to your website, and eventually reach out to you.

If you didn't have that page and you just had a general locations page, there's nothing really specific and unique about that. Same for service pages, but that's a different topic. There's nothing specific or unique about that general service page. You could, you know, serve from here to Timbuktu and list all those places. But if you're not really getting specific with individual service pages, talking about the services that you offer in those individual location pages, then you are missing out on the ability to be the expert in Google's eyes and interact and perplexity and claude and all those other LLMs.

Hope this helps. Get out there, build out specific location pages and specific service pages. So dominate.
