Good morning, good afternoon, good evening, good day wherever you're watching me from. It's another, it's another series of Take Five to Live Resurrected. Today is the 38th day of the Lenten period. I pray that we will not labor in vain. I pray that our prayers and fasting will not go in vain in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
Our text for today is taken from Romans chapter 6 verse 4. "For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives."
So when we take five to live resurrected, that means old things are gone. We are now a new person. We now have a new identity. That text says that for we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. Once we, we, we died with Jesus Christ, that means our old self is gone. We are now a new person, new identity. God has renamed us because we are dead to our old self. We are dead to all our sins. We are dead to all our shortcomings. We are dead to all our iniquities. We are a new person. We now have a new identity in Christ. That's when we take five to live resurrected. We cannot live resurrected while holding a broken identity. We should allow God to rename us, especially during this Lenten period. Let's resurrect with Jesus by leaving our old self, by allowing God to rename us, by allowing God to give us new identity.
Two, when you take five to live resurrected, you will rise in strength. Not just human strength, because human strength can fail you. It's only the divine strength of God that will not fail. So when you take five to live resurrected, you are rising. You're rising in strength. You are overcoming every challenges. God is giving you the strength that, that will lift you out of everything that is trying to hold you down or that is weighing you down. Every challenges, every obstacles, every, every shortcomings that is trying to weigh you down. When you take five to live resurrected, God is giving you the strength to rise above all shortcomings, above all challenges.
Uh, thirdly, when you take five to live resurrected, you rise in purpose. Now you know what you're living for. You know why you are here. That you're not just on this earth for nothing. Now you know your purpose. Why God has created you and God has made you to be here. Now, because you take, you take five to live resurrected, you have a purpose and you're walking in your purpose. You know, when you, when you rise in purpose, purpose wakes us up. Living resurrected means stepping into what heaven has written about you, what God has written about you. When you take flight to live resurrected, you're rising in purpose to step into that post in which God has created you, the assignment God has given you, that's that purpose in which heaven has written about you. So when you take five to live resurrected, you're rising, or you're rising in purpose.
When you take five to live resurrected, you rise in victory. You know, when where Jesus resurrected, that was a supernatural victory. As Christ was raised from dead by the glorious power of the Father, it can only be God. That is the glorious, that, that was a glorious moment. That was a glorious event, you know. So when you take five to live resurrected, you're rising in glory. What buried you yesterday cannot hold you today. That is when you take five to live resurrected. You rise in glory. Meaning what buried you yesterday cannot hold you today. You know, you rise because Christ already won. Because Christ already won. That was, that was a pricey price to pay for us. For Jesus to give us his life. He laid down his life for us so that we can win. So that we can have victory. So that we can have purpose. So that we can, we can have a new identity. So that sin will not have anything over us. So we will not die in our sin.
And, uh, the fifth one, when you take five to live resurrected, you rise in manifestation. You know, resurrection is not hidden. It is visible. It is undeniable and transformative. This is where promises become reality. This is where prayers become testimonies. And this is where destiny become manifestation.
So to round up, Take Five to Live Resurrected is a call to rising a new identity in strength, in purpose, in victory, and in manifestation. Thank you so much and God bless you.
