Okay, so to make, um, your emails go out every week on a certain day of the week, um, you'll start by, um, bringing in what's the action called event. I'm going to put the word "event" on top. Set event start date. So we're going to open that and we're going to select a specific day. We don't want date and time, we want a specific day. Specific. And then the day of the week we want it to be Monday. And then let's just say it'll go out at midnight. Then we save that action.
And now everything that that happens in here, um, is going to be based on on Monday, right? So now what we could do is we put in a a wait action, okay? And we're going to say the time delay is going to be based on event, on on an event, okay? And and it's going to be it's going to go on the exact time of the event, okay? Leave this as skip all outbound communications. Save action. And, um, when you save action, it's just going to say wait, um, so for your own records, I would put "wait for Monday." Wait for Monday, okay?
And then now you could put in your email, okay? So you bring in the action that you want. In this case, we're just going to put in an email, um, again, I'm just making this up here so that you could see. So now now that this is this is set up, you don't have to set this up again. What you're going to do is you're going to put another wait right here. And you could just copy this one. Just go copy, copy action. And then set. You can copy it anywhere that it says copy here. So we're going to go under this last email and say copy here. And then just put in your next email. And then, um, then you can just copy your Monday.
So what it what this will do was it'll wait for it'll wait for Monday. It'll it'll wait, um, sorry, I can't talk today. It'll wait for the event time before it sends the next email. Anything that happens before the event date, um, can happen, uh, immediately. So in other words, if you want somebody to sign in, sign up, and they get added to this workflow, if you don't want them to wait to Mon to that next Monday, you can schedule an immediate email right when they sign up and it can go above this right here. And it could say something like, "Welcome to the Weekly Newsletter. You're going to, you know, be getting emails every Monday and, um, look forward to the next Monday day," so that they know what's going on. You could just add that email up above this the start date. Hopefully that makes sense. Let me know if you have any questions.
