What's going on everybody? Welcome to this YouTube video. We've got a full day of eating. Now that we're no longer on the cut and trying to lose weight, I'm eating a little bit more towards kind of like how I feel within the day. Today is non-training, so I probably won't have as many calories or carbs. I'll take you guys through everything, show you guys.
First meal, it's just after 10:00, so still doing some modified intermittent fasting. All I had was some coffee as well as my water this morning. And now we have our first official meal of the day. We have six of these bacon, egg, and cheese bites. So obviously, as they are, they're made with eggs, bacon, cheese, and also some bell peppers. I don't know if you can sure if you can see any of those, but there are some red bell peppers in there for a little bit of fiber and volume. Then two Sungold kiwis, one of my absolute favorite fruits of all time. Biggest thing here, every single time I have a meal, I'll also have some of this Yellowbird hot sauce. And then wash it down with a good morning. But one rule that I personally try to follow, or not try to, I do follow as well as encourage all my clients to, is to have a micronutrient with every meal, right? And just because let's say a recipe or something that you make doesn't have a micronutrient, doesn't mean you can't cut up uh a little bit of kiwi and add on the side, right? It's very easy to add a side of fruit or a side of vegetables. Grab an apple, grab some carrots, whatever it is, and make sure every meal you consume has a micronutrient and a pro- a main protein source to keep you full, satiated, makes it so much easier to lose body fat and stay lean. So, this meal number one, I'm tracking everything in MyFitnessPal. This is also a new recipe I just wrote, so it'll be going in the cookbook, probably the next cookbook Excuse me, the next cookbook update, as well as Yeah, I think the other two meals will be eating. Obviously, I make a lot of recipes, so I just eat those throughout the day, and I add some supplementary uh stuff as well between protein shakes, fruit, vegetables, stuff like that. But meal number one, uh with these six egg bites, which ends up being about a one and a half servings, and then two Sungold kiwis, it is 542 calories, 53 g of protein, 31 g of carbs, and 25 g of fat. Also, uh 5.5 g of fiber. So, that is meal number one. I'll see you guys at meal number two.
Back at the dining room table for meal number two. Here we have a Mexican I don't know you guys can see it right there. Mexican street corn chicken pasta, 520 calories, 49 grams of protein, and no onions. And honestly, uh these containers are great cuz A, I can write on them. So, I just write like the recipe, calories, protein. And then I can also give them to family and friends. So, I don't have to give them like glass Tupperware container, expect them to clean it, and bring it back. Uh because I make so many meals that I give a lot to family, uh my brother, my dad. Um I fill up my parents' refrigerator all the time and freezer, and then also some friends. We also have um the leftover cantaloupe from this container, probably about maybe two cups left, something like that. Uh pre-cut. Yes, I do get lazy a little bit, but cantaloupe, something about a ripe sweet cantaloupe makes it a top-tier fruit for me. I mean, it might might even be breaking the top three. I know that's controversial, some people don't love it, but I swear a good ripe cantaloupe is very hard to beat, especially during the summer. So, this is my meal right here. Mexican street corn chicken pasta. Uh as you can see, there's some corn in there, there's some um let's see, feta cheese, there's pasta, there's chicken, there's a bunch of seasonings in there, a little bit of kick to it, a little bit of spice, which is really nice. And then also, the calories for this meal, including the cantaloupe, comes out to be meal number two total, 628 calories, 51 grams of protein, 79 grams of carbs, 17 grams of fat, and then 9.8 grams of fiber. So, honestly, the reason why I've been tracking fiber is more so for the cookbook. I personally don't track fiber cuz I typically get a decent amount through just fruits and vegetables, uh and then other obviously other sources of fiber as well. But, the big thing there is if I do have enough fruits and vegetables, and of course fiber in my main meals, I'm going to get probably 30-plus grams, or at least 25 to 30 grams a day, which is more than enough. But, I've started to track those as part of the meals, so now my cookbook will start to include for new recipes. I'll probably go back and do it update it for old recipes, have the fiber count. Cuz a lot of people have been asking for that, and of course, the great thing about the cookbook is I can update it over time and take your guys essentially requests, what you guys want, and then include it in there. So, recipes going forward have fiber content as well for those that want to track that, and I do think it's an important thing. I just think everything else is really important, too, and that can be a part of it. But yeah, that's meal number two. I'll see you guys at dinner.
It's actually currently in the Crock-Pot, so it's a new meal. I'll show you guys that here later. Meal number three. That's a weird way to do three. Why did I do that? Meal number three. Now I'm going to grab a quick snack between meals two and three. Meal three is actually over there in the Crock-Pot right now. I'm a little bit hungry, so I'm going to have a protein snack with a piece of fruit. And as far as the protein snack goes, what I'm going to do, I'm going to try this Barebells Key Lime Pie protein bar. I'm normally a huge fan of their chocolate flavors, but we're going to see how this is. If it's bad, I'll go with my tried and true Transparent Labs protein, so we'll go with a dark milk chocolate or dark chocolate. Dark chocolate is my number one flavor, then milk chocolate, then actually this milk and cookies is pretty good. Um but yeah, I also just took my creatine. I forgot to film that, but I did take one serving or 5 g of creatine monohydrate right there. And then I did take my supplements this morning. Um so this NMN is something I recently added in. I don't notice a huge difference, so when I still talk about supplements, multivitamin, krill oil, and then my sleep and recover, those are kind of like the big three that I take on daily basis. These two in the morning, that one at night. Also, code Perez saves you 10% on all Transparent Labs products, but also I'll be adding apple in, Honeycrisp apple. This is by far the best apple, no other answer. Yeah, let's go ahead and try this Key Lime Pie protein bar, cuz if it's bad, I'm going to make a protein shake. So let's see if I can do this one-handed. There we go. Okay, interesting. Smells okay. See if I can get a big bite out of this guy. Okay, so that's what we are working with. Woah. Mhm. Actually, that's pretty good. I will say, obviously the only thing key lime pie I have is key lime pie or ice cream. This isn't half bad. It's got a little bit of like a key lime layer at the very top. It's got some green. It doesn't have as much crunch though. So, one thing I do like about the Barebells bars is they have a lot of those crunchy pieces on top. This one has a little bit less than the chocolate ones do. I don't know if that's on purpose or just maybe this specific bar. Mhm. That's surprisingly good. All right. Will I say it's my top favorite? Probably probably not. I still like their cookies and cream, their cookie dough, their like double chocolate. I do like those a little bit more. But, this is definitely a bar I'm not mad I ate and I'm going to go ahead or not that mad I bought, I'm going to finish, and don't feel like I need to throw this away and grab protein shake. So, yeah. Barebells key lime pie, not bad. If you're a huge fan of key lime pie, you'll probably love it. I still am a huge fan of chocolate, so I do prefer that a little bit more. But, yeah. Protein bar, apple. I'll put the macros and calories on the screen cuz I don't know those off the top of my head. I'll add them up and post them. I'll see you guys at the third and final meal of the day.
And for meal number three, I like just finished making this recipe done in a crock pot. This is a red I like this to be horrible handwriting. Red pesto chicken gnocchi. 519 calories, 50 g of protein. Uh pardon my scribble. I'm just kind of writing those down really quickly, but red pesto chicken gnocchi, like I said, 519 calories a serving packing 50 g of protein. Uh this does have a lot of spinach in it. It's only one cup of frozen spinach per meal, so that covers a lot of micronutrients. But, I'm also going to add another apple in there because I will say I'm on a huge apple kick right now. Super simple, very convenient. All you need to do is give this a quick rinse and I can eat it. So, this is going to be my meal. I'm a little bit of a rush right now because I'm going to try to go hit some golf balls before the range closes. So, I'm going to eat this meal. I'll throw the macros and calories somewhere over here. Um but I'm going to eat this and then head out. And then I'm not going to do any dessert tonight because tomorrow we're going to grab pizza with some friends of ours and probably get Graeter's ice cream. So, knowing that I have that tomorrow evening, kind of be like, "Okay, hey, I don't really need anything tonight." Also, Katie's working late, so I don't really need to go to Graeter's or get dessert just on my own. Uh instead, I'm going to try to go hit golf balls, take Margot on a walk, and just get to bed early cuz I'm going to wake up and work out tomorrow uh with my buddy Chris. So, yeah, this will be wrapping the video.
Meal number three, uh total daily macros. Oh, shoot, I should actually Give me 1 sec. I wanted this to be the final clip, but of course I need to go over the final calories macros with you guys and I just won't want to throw up on the screen. So, I went ahead and just put this into the app real quick, MyFitnessPal, how I track everything. The red pesto chicken gnocchi uh plus the apple, meal number three, 614 calories, 50.5 g of protein, 75 g of carbs, 15 g of fat, and then eight about eight grams of fiber. Um once again, I probably won't put the fiber on the screen, but that's just something that is part of these recipes. That brings my daily total to 2,079 calories, 175 g of protein, 230 g of carbs, and 65 g of fat. So, that's a pretty good day altogether. Uh still high in carbs, I will say. When I do work out, I typically have a banana or two and some rice cakes before I go and train in the morning. So, that would increase the calories even more cuz 2,000 calories is still on the lower end, but I still have a little more calories on the weekend, little more more calories on the days I train. I don't train on Monday or Friday, so like today's Friday, it's going to be a little bit less calories since I don't have that pre-workout meal of the carbs of rice cakes, maybe um the banana, peanut butter, things like that. That probably brings my calories up to 2,500, so uh but overall, hit my protein goal. 150 is the minimum protein every single day. Been very well hydrated. Uh a little bit over. Uh sitting around 11,000 steps. I'll probably get up to 15,000. And that's going to wrap up the video. If you guys have any questions, let me know.
