Weapons of Spiritual Warfare (fight/flight OR dominion)

If you've got a resistance against you, it most likely means that you are a threat.

Defeat is unscriptural; it's anti-gospel. If they can't abort you, they can program you to abort yourself. Your job is not to beat the enemy. Your job is to align with God. God's executing this revenge protocol on the enemy, and part of that is the enemy thinks he's so smart, and God's like, "Boom, boom! Everything you do backfires, bro."

Stop playing defense with your cancer. Stop playing defense with your sickness. Stop playing defense with your money. Stop playing defense with your kids. There's only one thing we need to know about the mind of the enemy: he wants to be like God, but he never will be. Everyone wants to get to the high places, but if you want to go high, you first have to go deep.

Don't do it. You know why? He just was like, "I have to pretend." No pretending here. See-through. Here we go.

All right, you want to hit some stuff before we tap into the subject?

Sure. Let's hit some questions because we've got a bunch of them. I'm actually going to—okay, this is, uh, this is interesting. Someone asked, "How are you talking with the Holy Spirit and praying, and then he talks to you in your head? But what if the voice in in your head isn't the Holy Spirit, but it's just your head?"

Ah, welcome to the biggest problem with people who say they hear from God. Cuz they're like, "God told me to do this," and it's like, "No, God did not," based on what you're saying. So you can, you can have like a, a bit of a triangulation system on this, which is like, "Okay, does it, does it completely go against scripture? Does it go against, um, what you know to be true of God?" But the best thing is, is you should go back and watch the "How to Hear From God" video, which is the frequency of the Holy Spirit, because the, the frequency of listening to to God's voice is different than the frequency of listening to our own thoughts. It will make you feel a little bit different.

Um, where this, it's funny because what this person is asking, I can tell they, they probably do hear from God, but they're just not sure. The more sure you become, and the closer you actually get to God, the more your thoughts will sound like God's thoughts. Because we're, when we get into that place where it's like, "Jesus says, 'I am one with the Father, and you are now one with me.'" Like, well, we're going to have the same thought processes. Like, we're connected in.

Um, so at the beginning, you'll, you'll tell a big discrepancy between your own thoughts and God's thoughts. But once you get used to it, it becomes less of a thing because you're naturally feeling the fruit of the Spirit as you listen to whether it's God speaking to you or your own thoughts speaking to you. This is why the New Testament says you have to bind your mind to the mind of Christ. Basically, another translation says, "You have been given the mind of God." That means your thoughts are literally God's thoughts. That's how you know when somebody's walking real tight, like super close, they have the mind of Jesus. So their thoughts, it's not a question of like, "Is this my thought or is this Jesus?" Both. They're the same thing.

Wow. That's where I want to get to.

Yep. You know, that's deep. Wow.

To—we just, woo, so good. Off the deep end. So good.

And do you still wrestle with this?

Yeah, 100%. Same. Me too.

Um, someone's asking, this is a little bit more on the basic side, but someone said, "How do I protect myself from gossip?" They're taking it a little bit more seriously because, uh, M said that when other people gossip, it's us vomiting, and then demons drink it. People are asking, "How do you protect yourself from gossip?"

You want the theological answer or do you want the, uh, real answer?

Give me the real answer.

The real—you don't have to. You don't have to. No. As long as there's no unforgiveness in your life, and you're not like holding other people hostage. Unforgiveness and unrepentance, they literally strip the armor of God off of you. So, um, that's bad. You want to like watch the video on forgiveness. I think it's titled "Grow Up and Forgive Them." Watch that one.

Um, but unforgiveness is such a big deal. So you want to pray for the people who have hurt you. If somebody, if you feel like somebody's gossiping about it, just forgive them and pray that God will bless them. Um, but a demon like come and trying to throw up on you, they, they will disintegrate before they get even close enough to do that if you're actually walking with with God. They, they can't. They can't get in. Yeah. So you don't have to protect yourself from it. Um, there's nothing you need to do.

Gotcha.

What are your, um, what are your thoughts on, uh, influence on music and movies on our lives? What, like, what have you seen with that?

Yeah, big. Go into that. Well, I wish you were there last week. We just did this, this event in California, and the event is on branding, advertising, content, all the business stuff.

Um, like, people, please, please, please never forget. Never forget this: I am not a—I'm just, you can't ever forget that. I'm not a pastor, and like, I'm not, I don't even like people calling me teacher. Mhmm. Cuz I'm just like verbally processing with you, like, what I'm learning about God. Mhmm. What I am is like, I'm a business consultant. I'm just a business owner. And that I found that somebody asked me in in Vegas, I'm going to get to this question, but I'm going to take the scenic route. Somebody asked me in Vegas, they were like, "Who are your mentors right now?" And I literally was like, "I've got some mentors in like trading. I've got some mentors in public speaking." But they were like, "But general?" And I was like, "Holy Spirit." He's like, "Quite smart." He's a little, he's just smarter than any of the other people that I've looked at hiring right now, which is why I want to be such a conduit.

Because when people hire me, like they're, um, I've told people this, but like, I'm, I'm asking Holy Spirit what to say when I'm talking to people about their problems. And I don't always hear something revolutionary. Sometimes it's really dumb, and I'm like, "I'm just going to say it anyways," and it's the most simple thing in the world, and they're like, "No one's ever said that before." But right now, I'm teaching these, uh, this group of business owners like how to, we're teaching about content. And we had a branding, a world-renowned branding expert in town, and we're teaching. And I've got about four hours to speak.

Um, I'm praying about it, and I feel like God's like, "Don't have any notes." So I wasn't able to prepare for it. Like, which for me, I'm an any IJ, like me not preparing for something is is a little bit like psychotic. Like, it doesn't really work with my personality. So like, "Okay, whatever." And then the day of, that when I was about to hop on, I got just got to like two sentences. Mhmm. I was like, "That's all you need." It's a 90-minute session. Well, two sentences doesn't flow for 90 minutes. You can't, you can't do that. So I was like, "Okay, let's go." And I fled for 90 minutes on content, and it was just like, it was Holy Spirit led, and it was, it was amazing.

And, uh, but the second day, I was like, "What do you want me to talk about the second day?" And Holy Spirit is like, "Music." But it's about content. We're not talking about music. We're talking about content. So I had to, sometimes, like, here's the cool thing. Sometimes God will give you a, here's what you're supposed to do, but he won't like fill in all the gaps. You got to go hunt for them. Y. So you have like a direction that you need to go in, and then your job is to now, I got to go fill out like, what, what's the connective issue around that? Because if I just show up and I'm talking about like music for 90 minutes, I think people are going to be like, "What are you doing?" Yeah. But I eventually got to it, and I was like, "Ah, this is it. Music changes the frequency level of an individual."

So we talk all the time about myths of consciousness, levels of energy. Uh, how do you get yourself up and down this level? So I was like, "Here's how to do it." Certain pieces of music will raise you or lower you based on what you need. Like, the first language was music. So if you, if you needed to go out and let's take you, you need to clean out an auditorium of any negative energy, you need to just completely wipe it. You wouldn't use words. You would use music. And so like, even my, my friends of mine, because we're in Nashville, like they tour around. One of my buddies just got off of the road with, uh, Tomlin, like a Tomlin tour, and he's doing this automatically. He'll go in, he'll play a worship song, he'll clean out the event. So you don't know what, you don't know what who was in that arena the night before. You don't know what was going on, what crazy stuff. So music goes through and just forces the energy level to where it needs to be.

So I started teaching these entrepreneurs like, "This music does this to you, and this music does this to you, and this was this to you." We practiced. And we were so, I would, I would test them. So I would play a track and I'd be like, "Where does this at? Tell me the words that it makes you feel." And they'd be like, "I'm going to win no matter what. Don't give up. Surrender." It's like, "Okay, that's acceptance. So you're at 350 right now." I'll play this. "What do you, what does this make you feel like?" "Run, win, war." Yeah. It's like 150. So it's bumping you down.

So even, even at our events, I, I was telling, I was like, "Bro, we play, um, you know that song? Now, here's, do the boys back home, de on a Friday night, you know that song that we play like, we pump it so loud?" And I was like, "Here's why we do this. If y'all are out in the hallway at like level 600, you ain't coming in. Nobody's coming in. You're just staring at each other. I can't get you to do anything. You're too high on the energy." So we play a country music song about beer. Yep. Oh, everyone's back down. Like, "Let's go, bay." Let's follow direct commands and like get back in. And then we start teaching. And the, the events, they kind of follow this cadence of like, we go up so we can get vision, and then we go down so we can actually implement it. Because if you're too high up there, man, you don't have, you can get vision, you have no interest in like making this, nothing matters. Like, you've got a thousand-year time horizon.

So anyways, to to answer the question, massive. Music is huge. Movies are huge. But movies, movies are not as big as music. Have you ever watched a a movie from like the '20s that have no music in them? M. No. Yeah. It's like, it's just weird. It doesn't, doesn't make any sense. Because we're not programmed by, we're not programmed by random pictures and scenes. Like, you go, go watch the most recent, um, what's the Tom Cruise, uh, Top Gun? Top Gun. Yeah. Maverick. Maverick. The most recent Top Gun. Start watching movies from the lens of like, "What's the music doing?" And the music is always saying the same thing as the words. Correct. And if it doesn't, it's not a good composer that's doing it. So the, the movies are less of a big deal. It's the, it's the first language of Heaven overlaid on top of an image that actually gets us. It's like when you take the really funny music over a really scary horror scene, and it change, it makes everything, you're just like, "Laughing."

What are you guys doing? Um, the only, the only movie that's come close to being programmatically effective without music is like "The Quiet Place," if you've seen that movie. Oh. Um, and then it's scary because there's nothing. It's horrifying. So you have nothing. You, your consciousness is looking for something to latch on to to tell you where to go, and there's nothing there. So you're, everything's, everything's a surprise. Mhmm. That would be my answer to that question.

So where are we going today? Why, what, what are we talking about? Why are we talking about it? Take us.

Um, I want to, today, I think I'm, I'm going through this in my own life. So in the, in the interest of like externally processing, um, the things that I have written down to talk about are four, four strategies of warfare, specifically how to do warfare spiritually speaking. There are some things you cannot comp, you cannot conquer in the physical, and the more you try, the worse it's going to get because you have to go to the root code. It'd be like having a, a piece of software that is, uh, bugged. It's got bugs in it. Mhmm. Or if you're like recording a piece of music and you're trying to fix a bad take with plugins. Oh, boy. You ever done that? Never works. You can't do it. Nope. You can get close sometimes, but it's always a facade. It's always a counterfeit. Yep. So what do you do? Hey, we got to retake that. You got to retake it because the source material is bad, and we can't fix bad source material with a chain of 12 plugins on it. We can't fix a bad software if there's a bug in the root code with just putting extra rules on the end of it. Mhmm.

So how do we get to the first, how do we get to the root of it? How do we practice spiritual warfare? Because everything happens in the spirit first, and the more we try to just use plugins to try to fix whatever is coming from a directives issue from the spirit, the more frustrated that our lives are going to be ultimately.

Sound interesting. Mhmm.

What, why is it important to you? What, what made this topic important to you in your own life that you want to share it?

Uh, well, I've gone through seasons where I'm, I hate when Christians do this where they're just like, "I'm under attack." How do you know? "I got a flat tire." And it's like, you might not be under attack. You might have just run over a nail. So not everything is like, "I'm under attack." There's a, there's a demon around every corner. But there are seasons you go through if you are, if you are important. Mhmm. So that's the key. Like, if you feel, if your life is being, if you've got a resistance against you, it most likely means that you have, you are a threat. So you will have seasons where you're like, "Going into something, and it's now all of the sudden it's intensely difficult for me to hear the voice of God." Well, what happened? Well, there are these, this is how the hierarchy of the spirit world works. You have, somebody says something silly. Um, I'm just not remembering this. You remember. M. Was like, "It was just like, demons are silly." But this spirit being was, he kind of like brushed it off. And people were like, "Demons are not silly," and they got like personally upset that he said demons are silly. Most of de, most of them are like, they're just demons. Demons are powered by, demons are powered kind of by belief systems. So if, if you've got like, um, not to get weird about it, this too soon, but like, if you've got a, a demon. Okay, let's say a demon is like assigned to you to make you frustrated or to make you lose your temper. That demon in the spirit world doesn't have a lot of inherent power. They feed off of the same things that power other spirit beings, which is faith, worship. Why, why did I say faith? Because fear is faith. So you, you have fear that is the belief of something unseen. M. Faith is, is being just eaten up by this thing, and it's, it's getting bigger and bigger and bigger and bigger. But in their, in their most primal state, they're just desperate for a body. They're desperate for attention. M. And so you have demons, and you have like regional, you know, territorial things, and then over those, you have like the, the, um, powers of darkness that are like over those. You've got this chain of commands. And so what will happen is a, a believer will start getting hot, and like, whatever demons were assigned to that person, Mhmm. You can't hang on anymore. Can't, can't hang on. Can't, can't get access. So just elevate that up to a regional, and then the regional starts paying attention and bringing in bigger firepower. And then the believer will feel this temporary like, "Okay, you've just jumped levels." What does it feel like? It feels like extra resistance. So you have to sort of like know where you're at in the season. You got some spiritual warfare going on. I can't connect with God anymore. It was going so good. I was like a, like a direct connect to like God's spirit, and now I can't hear him. What's going on? Well, you just settled down. You just got elevated. And so now there's some other stuff. And then what people will do is they'll just go back. They'll be like, "Well, I'm obviously on the wrong road." Oh, man. You know, like, "I'm obviously not doing the right thing because it's not working." So just go back to the previous thing. And then it's like, in the spirit world, it's like, "Boom. Problem handled. Disbeliever is now cold again." Mhmm. Go back to the to the rung beneath it.

So are you tackling today, "How do you know if you're facing resistance or if you're facing, like, like you are actually going the wrong way?"

I'm tackling today, "How to turn you into a Terminator."

All right, cool. I want you to be, I want people who are who are walking with God, who are interested in walking with God, or who just feel like their lives are being like bombarded. Here are four keys of spiritual warfare, because defeat is unscriptural. It's anti-gospel. So opposition is normal. Resistance is normal. Problems are normal. Mhmm. But defeat is not of, is not your birthright. It's like, your birthright is not to be defeated. So, but anytime you make a decision, it's like, "Well, this isn't working, so I'm just going to," you know, "I was praying every morning. I'm going to stop doing that." Or like, have you ever, people who like have struggled with their lives for like pornography. Um, it's interesting how I'll hear their stories and they'll be like, "I was so, I was getting clean, and then like my business got worse, and then I would have a relapse, and my business would get better." Mhmm. And they're tying the wrong things together. Mhmm. And so like, "Well, maybe, maybe I'm not, it's not worth it to get clean." Wow. That's defeat. So that's you making a conscious decision that I'm going to go into behavior. Because what, what the spirit world is trying to do is trying to program you. They can't kill you. They can't touch you physically, but they can program you. If they can't abort you, they can program you to abort yourself. And so then you'll just take it, and you'll wear it, and you'll be like, "Well, I'm going to be in this for the rest of my life because it's just something I was born with. It's a struggle that I've always had, and my business doesn't even work if I don't have it anyways." Dang. Right. Yep. And substitute pornography with anything else you want to put in here. Like, it, it doesn't matter. Um, pride. People were like, "Well, I'm just," I remember a season of my life when I left the church world, and I'd started building business, but I didn't just leave the church world, I left with my own bitterness. So I was bitter about it because I was like, "Man, they didn't see me." This is like 10 years ago, 11 years ago. They didn't promote me. They didn't see me. I could have like written songs that, blah, blah, blah, blah. Like all the pride, pride, pride, pride, pride. Right. And so even, uh, even in Nashville, like the first few years, like I would think about it, and I would feel insecure, and I would then remind myself how rich I was. "I'm richer than any pastor in this building. I could buy this building." And then I would feel better. That ain't porn. That's pride. Mhmm. Same thing. My, my crutch was my sin, and that I was programmed to do that. Wow. Okay.

So if we don't want to do that, we have to engage in warfare the right way. Because when you, when you know your, think about a king. A king who is living like a beggar. That's most Christians today. They're kings and queens. They're living like a beggar under the street because no one told them how to actually step into their title. So how do you step into your title? You have to do it through a little bit of warfare. So let's get into it. Um, unless you have any questions about this off the jump? This, this, this is a, it's a really good topic. I know I've struggled with even the exact example of what you were saying of having addiction and then getting out of it and then being like, "Oh, well, maybe it's just better." You know? So, yeah, it's really good. If I know that if I'm thinking of that a lot, I'm I'm not the only one.

All right, let's pray. God, you're the best. We love you so much. I pray that you would honor yourself through this show and through our lives. We don't, we don't want any of the, we don't need the credit. It's yours anyways. And I pray that you would do something special today, that you would unlock certain pieces, uh, of strategy, of tactical application. And I pray that you would show people that not only are you jealous, but you are defensive. You get defensive of the things that are yours. You are possessive of us. And there are people watching this right now who they belong to you, and you own them. But there are things in their lives that are trying to challenge your jurisdiction. And I pray against that. All right, uh, so there's an interesting quote. I'll start this off with. His name is Jonathan Shuttlesworth. Now, I don't know how he got such a cool, [Music] name. Imagine. Hi, I'm Jonathan Shuttlesworth. Shuttlesworth. I'm Taylor Welch. W-boring compared to that. He wrote this book called "The Art of Spiritual Warfare." Most of it's really good, but he says this quote: "Whatever you don't confront, you will never conquer. What you refuse to re to confront will remain unconquered."

So the reason I'm opening with that quote is because there are some people on here that when you listen to this about halfway through, you're going to start noticing yourself feeling a little bit of like, "Dude, F this. Like, I've been in this season for too long." Wow. "I've been dealing with this for too long." Don't prematurely judge that as just anger, because it's like, the Bible's like, "Do not sin in your anger," blah, blah, blah. No, that's righteous anger. That is, if, if you were at the mall and you see a little, a little girl, and a guy comes up and takes that little girl away from her mother and starts running off, you're going to be pissed. Mhmm. And if you're not pissed, there's something wrong with you. Y. So there's a righteous anger that should show up when you start learning some of these things, and you're like, "Yo, this is not acceptable anymore. This is not allowed anymore. I'm going at this thing." Let that breathe. Don't shut it down. Let it breathe. Because when you get into spiritual warfare, the audacity that the enemy has to think he can just barge into God's territory and take stuff. No, that, that, that's not allowed anymore. You have to make this decision, though. You have to make this. I can't make this decision for you. You have to make this decision. Because I can believe it, and I can live it in my own life, but whatever you accept, you condone. You're giving it power by accepting it.

Okay, so we're starting there. Precursor. Some things that are important. First and foremost, God honors himself. God's interested in honoring himself. It's not just, it's not about you. It's about the territory and dominion of God that you belong inside of.

I'm really careful not to use this material. This is an important caveat to me. I don't use this strategy to just go get whatever I want. Cuz that, that's what, if God doesn't want it, if you're not lined up with what God wants, then it's not going to work. Y. Okay? But we know some things about what God wants. He wants you to have freedom. He wants you to have, he wants you to be prosperous. He wants you to, like, we, we all know that. So we want to pray against spiritual, spiritual meddling, but we never want to respond to spiritual meddling in the physical or in the natural. Here's why. God is the inventor of game theory. You know what game theory is? Let's break it down. Game theory is the study, it's kind of like, um, it's comes from warfare, but it's this study of how multiple opponents interact with one of each, one another, and how their strategy will change based on the maneuvers of the enemy or the opposition. So if you want to put, game theory would require five or six two-hour long episodes. It's too big. It's, game, game theory is such a big, a big topic. But if you've ever heard the topic, uh, "war game," like, "Let's war game this out." Let's sit at the at the table. Let's plan out five years into the future. If we do this, the enemy does this, based on this, we do this, then the enemy does this, based on this, we do this, and the enemy does this. You're crisscrossing strategies, and there's probabilities and statistical odds. So God invented game theory. This is why Romans 8:28 exists. Yeah. Like, "Everything works out for the good of those who love him, of those that love God." So the enemy is just like stuck. He's literally stuck in this position where he doesn't have the intellectual capacity to compete with God. But if he can just make the things that God cares about stupid, then he can beat us. Dang.

So this is why we have to be careful with this. Your job is not to beat the enemy. Your job is to align with God. Like, spiritual warfare 101. We don't have to beat the enemy. We have to align with God. Bro, imagine if, imagine if Joseph would have, he would have figured his way out of the prison. Mhmm. Or his brothers are, they got him in the pit, and they're about to sell him to a slave, and he figures out a way to climb out of that pit and run off. Mhmm. Is that good or bad? It definitely changes the story. He never gets to Egypt. Mhmm. He never interprets the dream of Pharaoh, and he never takes over the, the throne of Egypt, which means everybody dies. Bad. So we, we're not just like, "Hey, these people are hurting me, so I'm going to like try to like combat them directly." Because you don't have the ability to see where God's taking you. And so your job is to align with God, not to just like wage warfare on a situation. Because God may be taking you to a place of promotion where you're the only person that's going to be able to save a generation. You're the only person who's going to be able to, boom, reverse your generational line. You're the only person who's going to be able to get to that, to get to this. And so we, we can't just be like, "Well, I feel like I'm in a prison, so I'm going to escape this right now." And I'm never going to—no, no, no. Align with God. That's first and foremost.

Imagine if Judas would have been kicked out of the disciples, and Jesus is never set up through betrayal, by the way. But he's never set up to fulfill the prophecies and to create the salvation. Which, by the way, salvation is an altar. It's the biggest altar that we have. Altar works on blood sacrifice. Altar works on the, think about like the, you have a, you have like a power station next to your house, probably, that that basically conduits energy, electricity into your house. Sure. So you've got these different altars, and these different altars are basically, how would you define an altar?

An altar is, oh, man, should I define it now or should I wait until the altar episode?

Can you, can you define it so we understand why you're using it and why you're saying it that way?

An altar is a, is a, is a conduit that enables spiritual access on a physical plane. Okay. This is why the human body is an altar. Got it. Because we, when, go back and watch the "Power Seven Laws of Power" episode, you'll, you'll learn why the body is required for for spiritual authority. Unless you have an altar, the altar can, can allow something legally to access without the human body. But salvation is, is essentially an altar. So this is the thing. Align with God. Forget about like trying to beat everyone else. Just align with God.

Uh, we're still in the precursor mode. The, the second thing is, is God will always protect you as he advances you through something. So we need to delete this, this, um, instinct to defend ourselves. We need to delete this instinct to like control the natural. So like, control is an interesting subject because we think that if we can control things, then we can protect ourselves. But the control mechanism is, is actually done at the third heaven. It's not done in the natural. So God's going to protect you. You have to believe that God is going to protect you. And we have to get into alignment with this verse. Genesis 50:20. Joseph is speaking to his, uh, his brothers. He said, "You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good." So that's why I'm spending so much time here because you could take these things and you could use them in a way that's destructive for your destiny. So we are only going to use these principles to speak and do warfare in the way that God wants us to do them. Does that make sense?

Yes.

On that note, I had this interesting thought. Napoleon, uh, Napoleon Bonaparte, the guy who took over France. The short guy. The short guy. Yeah. He said that movie, by the way, wasn't a good representation of Napoleon. No. Napoleon, dude, they made him sound look kind of dumb. But there's a book on here. It's literally just Napoleon. It's like 800 pages. Um, I've read about half of it. But dude, Napoleon was the most freaking genius person the world had seen. Like, people study Napoleon now for like military tactics. Wow. He was so smart. Wow. So they made him kind of look dumb. Dude was a genius. He was probably autistic, which is was not his normal back then. But yeah, he, but he said this. He said, "Never interfere with an enemy who is in the process of making a mistake." If they're going to make a mistake, just let them do it. Don't, don't even go after him. This, this is spiritual warfare too. It's like the enemy is such a, such, he's just a loser. He's making the dumbest decisions because he's trying to hurt you. He's trying to meddle with you. And God's like, "Yeah, go ahead. Throw him in a pit. I'm going to put him as king over the entire nation." He's like, "Man, I'm going to, I'm going to make this person lose a lot of money." God's like, "Go ahead. I'm going to teach him that it wasn't even him who made the money in the first place, and I'm going to give him 10 times back." Enemy is like, "I'm going to steal this kid's job." God's like, "Go ahead. He's got seven. I'm going to give him 14." It's, we don't just want to go after the enemy. If we want to be aligned with God, that is warfare. Because God's got crazy stuff to do with you. Dang.

And part of the way that God does it, and this is part of the revenge protocol on Satan and the enemy. Part of the revenge. People are like, "Well, God does not into vengeance." Bro, read your Bible. Bible says vengeance belongs to me. Yo, God is revenge happy. Like, you mess with God, you're effed. Like, it ain't going to work. So God's executing this revenge protocol on the enemy, and part of that is the enemy thinks he's so smart, and God's like, "Boom, boom, boom! Everything you do backfires, bro." Wow. Every single thing you do backfires. There's one thing that can get in the way with that, and it is when we get into the natural and start trying to fix and control the natural. And God's like, "Okay, I have two conflicting agendas: execute revenge and protect my people and honor the words of this person who is using my name." Wow. Make sure you are praying prayers that God wants you to pray. I think we spent a lot, a lot of time on this, but it's probably important.

Um, I'm going to skip this and I'm going to come back to it at the end. Remind me if you can to talk about training. Okay? Because there's a specific way that God trains us to do warfare, and it's not what people think. Um, but here's, here's the gist of today. Like, the next couple of points. Here's what I want to do. I want to, I want to train your instincts. So warfare happens in the second, in between. M. Like, if you go look at a UFC fight, you got two guys or two girls like matching up, and they're about to fight. The win or the loss is the minutia in between. Input, reaction. Like, I see something. The faster your reaction instincts are, the better fighter you're going to be. M. It's habit. Yep. It's instinct. There's this interesting thing, um, where the brain will actually help you with this. Because the brain's again, like based on last week, like the brain's just running this like root code over and over. Keep this person alive. Like, keep them alive. Keep them alive. That's where all the neurochemistry comes from. Keep them alive. Keep Jake alive. Yes, Jesus. Keep Jake alive. Just keep them alive. Like, they're just like running this dumb little thing over and over again. Mhmm. And so it's got this process called M, uh, myelinization or myelination. And, um, myelin is like, uh, when you do something over and over and over again. We've talked about neuroplasticity. Myelin is there's this substance that goes over something to sort of protect a, uh, a divot in the brain. So like, if, if you're, you are you right-handed? Yes. If you go right-handed and you start writing, you got myelin all around the neuro circuitry of the brain. That's how you don't forget it. It doesn't lose its form. If you go a week without writing, Mhmm. It's okay. Like, your brain's got its form, form still locked in. So it protects. These are your instincts. It's like your habits, your pattern. But if you sit on your right, left-handed, you got no myelin. Yep. So if you do it for a little, if you're learning a new instrument, you know, you get into flow. Yeah. And you're like, "I'm pretty good about this thing. I'm pretty good." You know, like, and then you take two weeks off, and then you've like forgot how to do it. Your brain hasn't built any myelin around it. I've actually, I've heard, um, maybe this is not the same frame, but I've heard like from the study of, uh, when you go and practice an instrument for like 30 minutes, it feels like you suck. And then you take two hours, and you come back, and then your brain's like, "Done. It's rained the same scenario for 10,000 times." You come back, and then all of a sudden you're able to do it way better and way easier. It's probably, that's probably more like, have you ever heard of like, "My ears are tired"? Mhmm. When you're like mixing? Yeah, yeah. Or when you're like trading, if you're staring your screen for too long. So the brain hasn't like encoded all of that data yet. So when it encodes it, but the, the habit, the habitual response comes from myelin. So these are like the small little distinctions that make somebody good versus bad. Like the, the, the, the response time is based on myelin. Yes. A lot of muscle memory can come from this too. Wow. Um, and so that's, that's warfare happens in the moments. It's in the small little seconds. When you get bad news, how do you respond to that bad news? Well, somebody who has the M, myelination of trusting God will immediately respond to bad news in a different way than somebody who's brand new learning how to trust God. Yeah. Because in the seconds in between, they feel the pit in their stomach and they're like, "Oh no, like, what's going to happen?" Oh, you just, you, you had a choice. This way or this way. And instinctively, you chose the wrong path. This is why if you read this in, uh, Psalms 112:7, it says, "The man of God will not fear bad news. H. His heart is confident, trusting in the Lord. His heart is assured. He will not fear. In the end, he will look on triumph at his foes." Instinct. We want to get here by instinct. Yes. So like, you get a bad report, something happens. Your wife is sick, your husband is sick, or one of your kids does something crazy. You have to go like, "Where are my habits right now? My habits are aligned when, like, nope. I don't feel bad news. I don't fear it. I don't feel bad news. My heart's confident. I'm assured. I'm trusting." It's a, it's an instinct. It happens so fast. And so when we notice ourselves going into a, a dangerous place, we have to, we have to divert that back to what the Bible says. People who are really skilled at warfare, bro, they can have bad reports and immediately they go like, "Nope. I rebuke this. God, you're going to have your way with it. I don't fear anything negative because you, I'm, I'm my steps are, I'm in the right place at the right time. My steps are ordered by the Lord. You promised that I would be victorious. I would be prosperous." And they're just like, when you encounter somebody with this level of faith, I have like maybe two friends right now who are at this place where like they're superior than like they're way ahead of me on their faith journey, and it is amazing, dude. Like, when you talk to them, because one of them, I have, and I'll call her, she taught me faith during the middle of the FTC. And I called her, and I have like, still to this day, I'll go back and review my notes. I've got three pages of notes in Evernote because she's like, "Nope. This happened, and then this happened, and this is how you trust God." And there's so, so fast to realign themselves back with what God says about them. And so this is an instinct thing. What does that, what does that sound like from an example standpoint? What does that actually sound like? What is, what's like a story or example you think of when you say that with this person?

Yeah, um, I'll try to share it without sharing too many details. I think we could have her on the show. There's so many stories too. But like, you know, here's an example. One time she was, uh, so she was, she was barren for many years. M. And, um, she had, uh, a tumor or something on one of her ovaries. And so she, like, got out of surgery, and they were like, "You're not going to be able to have kids. We had to remove one of your, one of your ovaries." And she was like, "No. God will do it." Immediately. Cuz God, she's like, "God told me I would have have a baby." There was no like, there was no room for fear. It was so crowded out by like God's promises that she was like, "No." So in the natural, she's getting this report. And the spiritual, she's like, "No, that invalidates that." So their grid of like, circumstance first, heaven data versus like promises, third heaven data. Like, the data from the third heaven is so overwhelming that there's like no room at the bottom for anything else to get through. Wow. That's awesome. Does that answer your question?

Mhmm.

Um, okay. Four keys. Let's get into it real fast. And then, uh, and then we're going to talk about training at the end. Don't let me forget. Sweet. Um, here's the first one. Four strategies of warfare. These are strategies that you can use, and you can use them again and again and again because what they will do is they will actually align you so closely with God and the heart of God that at a certain point, you become so dangerous to go after that you're probably still going to be a target, but you're not going to be like someone that they want to go after and meddle with. Here's the first: meditation. Meditation is the mental rehearsal of something. What you will notice if you're paying attention is that some of these strategies that are stripped from the scriptures are being taught in other religions as if those religions came up with them. So meditation is actually a precursor to manifestation in New Age. M. You will never manifest what you cannot meditate on. So it's a, it's a rehearsal. And whatever you rehearse, you attract. So when you get into like really, really smart practitioners of this, they work without even being saved. H. Because it's the way the human body was designed to interface with the spiritual. We've talked about this before. Your mind is this connective tissue between the physical and the spiritual. So I will listen sometimes to people who have read a book by, um, one of these guys, and they'll start teaching on it because it worked. Like, "Yeah, you just manifest. You just..."

You think about it, you see it. You get into this space where you already have everything, and you're making decisions as if you were that person. And the, the universe just begins to bring these things to you.

And then Christians will go, "No, that's not real. That's demonic." No, it's 100% real. It's 100% scriptural, but it was designed to work through submission to God. And if you could take that tool, it will work. Just like if somebody steals my car, it will still work. The car will work.

Mhm. Like, we can't be stupid. If I steal your truck, I can drive the truck. But if somebody finds me, I'm getting arrested. Like, it's, it's illegal. It's the same thing. Y.

So meditation, this is why David talked all the time, like, "I'll meditate day and night, day and night, all the time." It's the mental rehearsal and it's the audible repetition. Why audible? Because faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Faith comes by hearing. So if you speak something over yourself, you're doing this.

We're, we're building out this merch line. And here's, here's the, here's the game. I said, "Hey, let's just find the things that God says about you and put those on pieces of clothing." Yes. Because when somebody reads a shirt and they're like, "Uh, what does that mean?" Like, "What is, uh, 'I can't hurt me,' or 'Always a conqueror,' or 'Generosity wins,' or, uh, 'Courageous'?" "Where'd you get that shirt?" They're speaking things over. Like, it doesn't matter, like, whether you know what the intention of the heart is or not. Like, when you speak, you unlock certain things. Y.

And so being able to mentally rehearse and audibly repeat things that are God's promises over and over and over, this is the law of attraction. You've studied the law of attraction, or people have probably studied the law of attraction and reality control programming. What we expect, we find. If you want to, if you want to see every car on the road that is red, go start the buying process for a red car, and then it's like every car you see is red. Mhm.

This also ties into science, the reticular activating system. So the reticular activating system works on three levels: Number one, what is novel? What's, uh, important? And what's a threat? So when something is important to you, you start finding it everywhere. Well, how do you tell the reticular activating system what's important? You talk about it all the time. You think about it all the time.

There's almost this, this, um, voluminous effect where it's like, if I'm thinking about how God wants me to be prosperous all the time, mm, then all of a sudden your RAS goes, "Got it." And it starts finding all of the different ways in your life that exist right now that can make you prosperous. Mhm.

So this meditation effect works. This works really well if you're sick. Cuz what's the Bible say about sickness and healing? "What do you mean, 'What's the Bible say about sickness and healing?'" "I don't know where you're going with this. I'm not following." "You're trained." "What?" "No, what's the Bible say about, about, about sickness and healing?" "You're meant to be." "Does it say you're supposed to be sick?" "No." "Does it say you're supposed to be, like, fat?" "No." "Does it, what does it say you should be healed?" "Yeah." "It says Jesus already basically paid. He took by his, what? By his stripes, we learn these things and we're freaking three, four, five, and then we never think about them again." Like, you haven't even thought about it. It's like it's in the, it's all the time, like meditating on it all the time.

So when somebody's sick, dude, if they meditate on the fact that God's intention for me is to be healthy, all of a sudden their body is. Jonah Spinon talks about this too. He, he literally healed himself just by sitting in a, not a coma, but he was paralyzed and he started mentally rehearsing his body healing himself over and over. Mhm. And his body healed himself. He was never supposed to walk again. He had no motor function in his hands or legs, and he just mentally rehearsed, meditating on this.

So meditation always leads to manifestation. But when you meditate, make sure you're meditating on things that God has actually said. Does that make sense? Yes.

At some point, this is just a thought that's outside where you're going right now, but at some point during this episode, can we talk about the mind of the enemy and take us into that? I think a lot of us, we've studied a lot of like the mind of God, but also more of the mind of the enemy and where he, his, uh, tactics and strategies are coming from.

Well, well, we can just tackle it right now. Sure. There's only one thing we need to know about the mind of the enemy: He wants to be like God, but he never will be. That's it. True. What else do you need to know?

That was, that's what I was curious about because you gave an example earlier that stuck with me when it came to, uh, "What if you were the enemy?" And you had, you said something that really hit hard when you said, uh, "You should become, you should get to a place where the enemy doesn't want to mess with you."

We're going to talk about that the next one. Cool. But bro, it's, it's, uh, what's the mind, what's the mind of a one-year-old? Immature. It doesn't know how to prioritize things yet. Doesn't know what's important. All it knows is that it needs to eat and survive. That's all it knows.

Do you have any, do you have any people that you used to be friends with that are just like, legitimately dumb? They're like, super low IQ, and their EQ is low, and you just can't be around them? Mhm. Yeah. How much time do you spend trying to figure out what their minds are like? Zero. Why? It's just like, I could spend time doing other things that are a better use of time. That's the mind of the enemy. Like, there's almost no utility in trying to, like, study the enemy. M. Almost none. Cuz it, it doesn't matter. And it's, he wants to be like God, but he's not. We are. So he doesn't like that. And there's such a power differential that it's like, it doesn't matter. Like, and by power differential, I mean that in a nuanced way. Like, there's, there's literally the enemy cannot do anything. M. He has to have permission. God's, in most cases, God is not giving him permission. You are. Why understand his mind if he's locked in prison and can't do anything about it? Instead, understand the mind of God, the mind of Christ, and then just start revoking that permission.

Something that I will say though, something that was really helpful for even me and my wife, is we were sitting in a bit of a, not disagreement, but we were just trying to figure out what, like, what was this tension between us. And we finally got to the place where, like, "Why are we, why are we frustrated about this?" And we couldn't figure it out. And then we realized we snapped back to something that Micah said that was really, really good. He said, "Anything that you're hearing that's not coming from the God, from God, is what the enemy feels and he's trying to project it onto you." And we are both feeling the same thing. And we're like, "Oh, the enemy feels this way." And that finally helped us, like, snap and go, "Oh, no. We reject that. We rebuke that. Get out." And it was just like, and then when we told other people that that's what we figured out, they were like, "Oh my gosh, that makes so much sense." That's what I mean by it.

Yeah, I think that that's 75% true. Okay. I think it's 75% because I think that there are times, there's probably a quarter of the time when it's just, um, like, we're not God, so we're not, like, we're not there yet. So we're not, we're not going to have, we will have errant thoughts that are not just being placed there. Sometimes where it's just like, "I want to be lazy. I want to sleep in. I want to, I want to go do this thing that's like, not, I want to, I want to chase money." You know? Sometimes that's literally just us. And it's a process of repenting for that. And like, keep this in mind: If you're, if you're having to repent for it, it's not the enemy because you're not repenting on behalf of the enemy.

Go deeper on that. You're repenting on behalf of something that you've allowed to be embedded, maybe. Or you're repenting about something that is taking you further away from God. So I don't, I think it's, I think it's partially true. But it's also, it's giving the, it's giving the spirit world a little bit of extra credit where he hasn't actually earned that. Just my opinion. Dang. Just my opinion.

Another thing that, but that is actually, I'm glad you brought that up because that's something that even today, like, I will still get into seasons where I haven't spent enough time with God. And so I'm like, at this conference, fly over here, at this conference, fly back, at this conference, fly to this event, and it's just, I don't have time, and I haven't made time for it. And then I start feeling like, really insecure. Mhm. Or really, um, just my, my propensity to get angry at somebody is like, really high. H. Not some, not all that's the enemy. Sometimes it's just like, "Bro, if you, we require maintenance to be in God's presence because we become like him when we're with him." Yes. And then too much time spent away from him, and we start turning into like, crazy. Not all that's like the, the enemy. Some of that's just like, "Yo, you're not in, you're not eating." So it's like, it's be the person who's not eating any food and they're like, "I don't understand what's wrong with me. I'm just like, getting weaker and like, I think the devil's coming after me." It's like, "I don't know if that's the devil, man. Eating. I think you have no nutrients in your body." So your body's designed. That's like us in the spirit. So our spirit man has got to get bigger. Yep. You know? Y.

Meditation does one more interesting thing, then we'll go to the next one. Meditation removes timelines. This is why when you meditate on what God has said about you, patience is an almost involuntary, natural thing that shows up in your life. So patience is a fruit of the spirit. Timelines go away when you're meditating on something because as you meditate, you become more certain. The only thing we lack patience for are the things that we're not sure if it's going to happen. If we're certain it's going to happen, patience is a natural byproduct of that thing. Yeah, especially if we understand Romans 8, we understand everything in the, in the spiritual world is backfiring against the, the demonic. Then it almost doesn't matter how long it takes anymore. It's just like, you know, the, the long financially, I've been stripped, if I've been stolen from, hey, there's a, there's a lean against the property of the enemy. They are required to pay that back with interest. You start going from like, "I need this now," to like, "Hey, bro, take your time. You got a 15% interest per year that is acre on what you're going to have to give me back. You want to take 10 years? Take 10 years. Go broke. But I'm getting it back."

So this idea is like, if you are sick, or if you are struggling financially, or if you are waiting for someone that you love to come back into alignment, you switch from like, "God, I need you to do this right now," to like, "I'm certain this is going to happen. Take your time, because there's an interest payment on it. The longer, the longer this devil waits, the more I get paid." Make sense? Mhm. It's such a reversal.

This is literally, and for any, um, Christians wondering, this is even like the same thought process that Paul had around persecution. He's like, "Cool, don't worry. I got something better coming." Paul. I got stuff on Paul. But bro, look at this. Here. Hold it up. Hold it up. Here. No, I don't want to show him that. Okay. Whatever. My son is on a zero-turn 5-foot lawnmower right now, and hopefully it's not on.

All right. Next. You ready? Yeah. Belief systems. Number two. How do you wage warfare in the spirit? Belief systems. Belief systems. Check this out. This is, uh, Sun Tzu being unconquerable lies within yourself. Robert Greene puts an addendum on this. Robert Greene is the author of, uh, 33 Strategies of War, which is about carnal warfare strategy and like military conquests and how things work. Because all of that comes ultimately from heaven, and we kind of get the same thing. There was battle in the cosmos long before there was battle on Earth. There was war in the cosmos way before there was war between countries. So there's conflict in heaven. And the, we have these pieces of the mind of God. And all of these human beings, whether they're ascribed to it 100% of the time or 1% of the time, all strategies coming from the same place. So we, we can study this because as we study it on Earth, we get a glimpse sometimes into like, how it works up there. Make sense? Mhm.

He says, "True strategy is psychological. It's a matter of intelligence, not material force." It's psychological. So this is why, like, Joyce Meyer, "The Battlefield of the Mind." Like, people who are tapped in and they kind of know where stuff is coming from, they'll usually start talking about the mind because they get revelation on, like, "Oh, dude, every, the one of the greatest is in the Bible outside of salvation and saved by grace is the mind of Christ." Dude, there's nothing else that, in my opinion, that even comes close to it. Because if, if I'm going to solve a business issue, I'm going to go get the mind of Christ first. If I need to hire an employee, I'm going to go get the mind of Christ first. If I need to win a big deal, I'm going to go get the mind of Christ first. If I need to speak on stage, I'm going to go get the mind of Christ first. Dude, what else beats that? Nothing. Like, give me the master architect of the entire cosmos. Let me think his thoughts, have his strategy, hear his voice, and and think through strategically the way he thinks through it, and then let me go battle. Nothing else can, can get as close.

But with this one, we have to clone the belief systems of the mind of Christ. Mark 11:24. He says, Jesus is saying this, says, "I'm telling you, all the things you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you will have them." And then there are no footnotes. What do we do with that? You can't, like, "Oh, unless you're asking for money." Unless, no, that's all just like human past here is making up theological nonsense. And the more I get in this, like, theological journey, you know, there's only one rule that we have to pay attention to in theology: Is it making sure that it's what God said? God sits up in heaven, and the Earth is his footstool, and he does as he pleases. There's theology for you. Tell whatever rules you think you figured out. Hey, God can do whatever he wants, and he's going to do whatever he wants, no matter what. So less focus on the rules and more focus on, "God sits up in heaven, and the Earth is his footstool, and he can do whatever he, whatever he pleases." That's theology. So like, if we're studying theology, it's a study of how man interacts with God, and that God can do whatever the heck he wants. Let's just actually start teaching the right thing, which is like, "How do you get close to God?" Yeah. Any theology that does not teach you how to get close to God is a sham. It's a joke. Because it's teaching you an agile set of rules that God can change whenever he wants.

So this is all psychological. When you pray for something, believe that you've received it. Where did the new age people get it? The Bible. And the crowd goes wild. Who would have, who would have thought? This is why when I say like, "Oh yeah, that's from new people think I'm like discrediting it." No, it just comes from the Bible. Like, "If you believe that you've already received it, then you're going to get it." Then they take that one thing. They didn't take it from the Bible. They took it from a spiritual trainer somewhere. Mhm. But all things track back to the same source code. Everything does. Which is why new age people, actually, their lives are better than most Christians because they are following the Bible better than most Christians. Wow. They just don't know they're following the Bible. Nothing gets me fired up like this. Sorry. I love it. Don't be sorry. Let's break this down, dude.

Okay. Believe. What is, believe? Strong's 4100. This is what it means. I told you I was going to bring better sources. Did I? We might have chopped that up about the, uh, maybe just say it. I'll say it in the trailer. I'll say it in the trailer. At the beginning. What does believe mean? Believe, Strong's 4100, *pisteuo*. Belief, faith. It's a verb related to the confidence that something is real, with a strong implication that action will ensue from this belief.

So let's go back to the story that you had. One of my other friends who is barren, husband and wife, his name is Bryant. We need to reach out to Bryant, by the way. M. So I haven't heard from him in a couple months. Um, they've been barren for a long time. And they, to this conference, and, uh, there was a specific thing, like a prophetic word for someone who was trying to have kids. And sometimes, you know, like, the prophetic world doesn't work in inside of logic. So they're just like shooting out, they're trying to find like, who this is for. Mhm. And so you'll see people do this. They're like, "There's someone here, and God wants to tell you that he's already made a way for you to have kids, and you've been trying for three years and four months, and, uh, you recently moved here." They're trying to find who it's for. Like, they, they're getting details, but not all of them. And so it's for them. It's for this couple. And so they go home and they buy a, uh, a bunch of stuff for the baby, but they're not pregnant yet. Mhm. But they're like, "We're going to, so we're going to go ahead and buy." They buy a crib, and they buy a car seat, and some clothes. That's this version of belief. This is this *pisteuo*. Action ensues from your belief. You have such a strong belief that something is real that you begin to to make moves in that direction. Mhm.

Boom. How do you know that your faith is strong enough? Oh, you'll start walking on that bridge before you even see it. Wow. That's how you know. Wow. How do you know that your faith in, you know, you have a legal thing, or you have a, uh, a conflict, some here, you're waiting for money, for God to bless you here, you'll start just making moves. Mhm. You start, "God said it. God's not a liar, so it's going to happen." And there's something about that that starts being like, uh-huh, okay. Let's bring that thing in because they have *pisteuo*. Faith. They've got such a strong certainty that this is actually going to happen that they're moving on it right now.

So is "be, do, have" biblical? Or is it "have, do, be"? It is biblical. But what order is it? It's a traditional, it's a traditional thing. Like everything else that, that, that, at least that I've studied, is that we see things in a line, and God sees things in a circle. Oh. So we see things, "be, do, have." Uh-huh. God sees it, "be, do, have, be, do, have." It's a circle. Wow. Productivity is not a line, it's a circle. Mhm. Money is not a line, it's a circle. We try to linearize everything so we can understand it. Y. Because we have to put time on something to really get the details. Y. God's a little bit bigger, so he's kind of like, "Well, this whole thing is a cycle." Mhm. You know? So yes, it's biblical. Is it biblical as a line? No. Is it biblical as a circle? Yes. Wow. Does that make sense? That's good. Makes sense. Okay.

"Believe that you have received them, and you will have them." What does "receive" mean? *Lambano*. Receive. Receive means you have given permission for it to enter.

Some random dude is like, "I don't know why, but Holy Spirit told me to come out to this event. I've never been to an event of yours before." And there's like three of those, and then a couple of other people. I think two other people who are like, "Not even saved," and they're like, "I had a dream from a plant that told me to come to this event." Like, "God, what do you want to do at this event?" Um, they think it's a plant, but you're like, sending dreams to people to come. Now you're saying people in the comments going to be asking if they can come. We're talking about identity. Yeah. And specifically replacing the intellect. Is this open to public or is this private only? It's private. Uh, well, because I know that you're saying that people are going to be like, "Oh, can I come?" So I'm just asking for them. Comment, and we'll send you details. But I've said this a lot. I'm going to probably go deeper on it at this event. Your permission is more important than your plan. What does that mean? What does that permission mean? When people want to get something in their life, they typically build a plan for it. Mhm. But if you don't believe that you deserve to have it, or that you are going to have it, you can create a plan but not give permit, permission in the spirit to receive it.

If you don't believe that you have what it takes to be a good spouse, this is a little bit of my problem with the whole theology of like, "We are just worms, and our hearts are, you know, decrepit, and we're just losers, and we're permeated by sin," and blah, blah, blah. It's like, "Well, you have, you're not going to give God permission to do anything in your life." God said he would do it, but you don't believe that he will use you to do it. Because who would be that stupid to use somebody who is a literal idiot? This combats theologically the whole, like, "God's strength is made perfect in your weakness." I understand that nuance, but at the end of the day, Jesus didn't die to cover up your sin. He died to remove it. So we don't have time to go into that right now. But this is the idea that when, when Jesus is saying, "Believe that you have received them," it's almost this idea of like, "Believe that you *should* receive them." Like, you have permission to receive. You should receive them. Yeah. Which comes back, ties back into new age again, of belief systems and worthiness. Mhm. Right? Yep.

All right. Belief systems. Align what you believe with what God has said about you. Next. You ready? Mhm. This one's easy, dude. Prayer. Why don't we pray? Why don't we pray about things? Because we don't believe it actually works. We don't believe it actually works. Yep. People be like, "No, it's that I don't have time." Crap. Is that better? No. People like, "Why do you like to cuss?" I don't know, man. Just think it's sometimes effective.

Um, there are two types of, there are two types of prayer. One is asking. Asking is cool. Asking, you'll receive with Mark, when, when you pray and ask for them, then believe. So asking is a biblical form of prayer. But when you get into a warfare prayer, I want you to pray like this: Decree and declare. Tell me the difference between these two, two prayers real fast. "God, this, this situation is, is hurting me, and I pray and I ask right now that you would just help me overcome it. And I pray, please remove this obstacle from me." That's one type of prayer. Mhm. The second sounds more like this: "God, you already said that by his stripes, I am healed. And so whatever interference is happening in my body right now, it is illegal. And I pray that you will pay attention to it. And I declare right now in the name of Jesus that I'm healed, and that there is no weapon formed against me that can prosper because you said it. And I ask you to back up your words and honor your promises right now. And I decree it in the spirit world, anything that is harming me, anything that is meddling with me, any of the doors that are open to enemy interference, I decree them closed right now in the name of Jesus. And I actually go a step further. God, I pray that any evil spirit that is trying to get through this door, you would take special attention. And I declare that they will have to confess what they are doing to Jesus right now." Very different type of prayer. Yeah.

Because with one, we're asking. And asking is fine. But you have to get yourself into a posture and a position where God's already said this. I'm done asking for it. Moses goes, "God, please split the sea." God says, "Dude, what are you doing? Stop asking me. Walk into the river. Walk into it." So we have to, man, this is like next level. This is where you go into like, "Yo, something is coming after me right now. And in the name of Jesus, I declare that they cannot be able to interfere with me anymore." As in heaven, so on Earth. Earth, and as on Earth, so in heaven. You declare it. You have this mouth. Use it.

I have a nuanced question if you want to tackle it. Okay. Paul had a thorn in his side, and he asked God three times to take it away from him, and God did not. I don't know. I haven't studied it. Okay. I'll study it for you, though. Love that. Yeah. Really curious on that, yeah. Because it seemed like, uh, just from like, the high-level perspective, it seems like, it seems like God knew there was something Paul just, he needed it, maybe. I mean, Paul was an intellect. So Paul struggled with pride. MH. Paul struggled with insecurity. Paul struggled with any of the things that a, um, that an intellectual would struggle with. MH. I doubt that that thorn was a conflict of a promise. MH. If God already said it, that he should have stopped asking for it and started declaring it. Co. Also, we have to keep in mind, we read the Bible. We're reading the Bible that are written by people who are not God. Like, they're normal people. It's like, we read the book of James, uh, we read about James and John, and we read the book of Matthew. But these people had their own issues. And so, not, what if, what if Paul would have done it different? What if Moses would have done it different? M. What if, what if Gideon would have done it different? How many of the promises, or how many of the miracles of God just showed up because they required for God to get the person to do their job? Mhm. So not everything that we read in, in scripture is like, "Well, I need to do it." Just prescriptive versus descriptive. Yes. Exactly. Yes. Like, we could, because you get dangerous on that. Like, you can make a case that the best way for God to prosper you is to be a little scaredy-cat and run from your own shadow. M. Where would that come from? Gideon. I don't want to live like Gideon. I don't want to live like that at all. Yep. You know? So. Right on. Yeah. That would be my answer to that.

Um, here's the, here's the caveat here. You can only declare the things that God has already said. You can't just go off. Don't go off declaring the things that you, you want, just 'cause you want them. Like, or else you're full-on new age. It's fine if you're watching this, your new age, fine. But if you want to be like, "Yo, I want to rock with Jesus," you better make sure God's already said it before you start using the power that you have that has been given to you. Like, you have authority to do it. But it will, it will then turn into other forms that will separate you from God. Make sense? Yes. Uh, and then obviously, forgiveness will block this. Can, let me ask this. When you say, like, "Did God say it?" How are you validating that? Perfect. Personally? Are you, like, in the Bible? Okay, cool. In the Bible? Yeah. What does that, like, just on a quick, what would a quick example of that look like?

Let's say that somebody is, is wanting influence to, um, um, build something. They want to build a, a building in downtown Chicago. And they're getting blocked by bureaucracy and the city and codes and just something always feels like it's sort of going wrong. But it was a dream that God gave them to do it. Yeah. Well, God will exalt you above the nations of the earth. So you begin praying for that and declaring that there's nothing here from a governmental standpoint that can block what God is asking me to do. He already said it. So just to declare it. God has said you're healed. Stop asking him to heal you. He already said. Let's, let's take an example. Let's say I'm going out of town on Friday. M. And you're taking me to the airport. M. Let's just run through this and roleplay it real fast. Yeah. "Hey, Jake, will you take me to the airport on Friday?" "Totally." "What, 2 o'clock?" "Yep." "Be here at 1:30." "Sure. Great." What do you start to think if I text you every five minutes asking you to take me to the airport? I'm like, "Where's your dress at, man?" "Hey, man, can you send me to the airport?" "Yeah." "Hey, man, will you please show up Friday at 2:00 to take me to the airport?" "Yes, I told you I'd be there." "Hey, bro, um, it's Thursday, and I haven't seen you yet. Can you take me to the airport on Friday?" "It's not time yet. Why are you asking?" "Hey, bro, um, it's a really big deal if I miss this flight. Can you please take me to the airport at 2:00?" "Yes, I get it." How weird is that? So strange. Why are we doing that with God? Now, there's, there's a baseline for it because sometimes when we don't get something, we can continue asking for it. But what, at a certain point, we need to make the shift and declaring it rather than just asking all the time for it. Yeah. Make sense? Yeah.

The, the linchpin here is this. This is the great, 'cause I can already see the comments now, like, "Well, Jesus said, like, knock, knock, knock, knock, knock, knock, knock, and over and over, and like the person will get out of bed and it'll come do it." Yes, bro, I get it. I've read my Bible. But when, when God has already said it, stop asking for it and start declaring it. Hold him to his word on it. Declare and decree it rather than be like, "He's already said it, bro. Like, just, just declare it."

Okay, let's move on. Um, this is the fourth one, and this is, this is where I think it gets really cool. How much time? How long are we? We're good. Just keep going. Uh, go on offense. Go on offense. M. Stop playing defense. Stop it. Stop playing defense with your cancer. Stop playing defense with your sickness. Stop playing defense with your money. Stop playing defense with your kids. Stop playing defense with the things that you feel like are being assigned to you.

So there's my, uh, someone really close to me, um, has had a, a pattern of, of just getting sick for random reasons, like every 30 days, and they don't know why, and they can't really explain it. And the doctor's like, "You're fine. Everything's good. I don't, maybe you just, you're getting the stomach flu every 30 days." And I was like, "Hey, try this next time you get sick. Go start keeping a list of people who you're praying for for sickness. Keep this lined up." So like, if you're getting sick, go find other people who are sick and start keeping a tally of them. And when you get sick, call them and start praying for God to heal them. And eventually, every time you are meddled with, it becomes a catastrophe. Because if we make Bob sick, 10 other people miraculously get healed. 30 days later, Bob, we make Bob sick again, 10 other people get miraculously healed. And that's when you begin to upgrade. We're like, "Hold up. We might want to, we might want to count the cost before we make Bob sick." Yep.

I did this with finances for two years of my life. I was in this place where, just like, I, everything that could go wrong is going wrong, specifically through the lens of finances. M. You go 10 years without losing anything, and then two years, you're like, being reset everywhere. And eventually, down in Florida, I finally had had enough. I said, "Every time something unexpected comes and costs me money, I don't care if it's $500. I don't care." Because $500 to me is like a little nuisance. But let's say someone watching this, you're like, "$50 really hurts." Doesn't matter how much it is. Every time something happens to me over and above tithing, I'm going to find a ministry and and donate some money. M. And it becomes a disaster. Because every time we meddle, other ministries begin to get funded. Go on offense. Use this to begin to backfire. Romans 8:28. You backfire this, and it doesn't mean you won't be a target. It means you're going to be a dangerous target. M.

And so before, before you quit, before you stop praying for someone, find out how you can tie something godly to this trigger. When something comes against you, find something in the same vein and use that as a trigger to go release God's work somewhere else. Make sense? Yes. Yep. That's what I was talking about earlier about the mind of the enemy. It's like, I imagined, um, knowing that somebody's being born and they're going to become a great war general. What's the best thing you can do? Make sure they never discover how, like, the military. Don't even let them know what the army is. Yeah. Create a government based on abortion and don't ever let them be born. Yes. Exactly. It's like, how far? And that's what the enemy is trying to do to all of us. He's just trying to make sure you do not get to your gift. And he's trying to make sure that either you're too dumb to get it, or you won't even allow yourself to get it. Mean, dude. Yeah. Like, abortion is a perfect thing. Like, abortion has always been done. We're just, we've moved the timelines up. M. So like, man, when Herod comes through, let's go back before that. When the, the Pharaoh is like, "Kill every, every boy." And Herod's like, "Kill every boy." They, the enemy is trying to eradicate because he doesn't have the strategy of heaven. He can only study what he hears from us and cease from the movings on the board. So he's like, "We know that there's a Messiah coming through the kids to like, kill all the kids." M. And then now it's like, how he's having a heyday. It's, it's amazing for him. Like, "We know that there is an evangelist coming from America in 2024. So we need to get as many people as we can to abort any chance of that happening and make it legal." That's that abortion. Wow. Ain't no women's rights thing, dude. Like, I get it, but no, it's not. What it is. Too far? No.

Here's, here's one little bonus, and then I'm, let's circle back to training, if the training piece, if we can. M. Let's hit this, uh, at bonus 4.1. M. Um, laughter. That's where we're going. Laughter is good for the bones, man. This ties into levels of energy as well, because, um, when you get up to a higher level, your default response is to smile or to laugh, even to pain. So check this out. God comes to this guy in the Bible, and this guy was like 100 years old, and God's like, "You're going to have a kid." And his wife laughs. But not for the right reasons. So I have to, I have to talk about this in a way that delineates the qualities of laughter. M. She laughs, but it's more of a scoff. It's more of a, "You crazy?" MH. So be the equivalent of somebody being like, "Hey, you're going to run a multi-billion dollar organization." And you're like, "What? I work at Starbucks. I work for the devil." You're laughing right now. It's like, "Get you a PO box, people can send you new cups." It's like a scoffing, like a disbelief type of that's not it. That's not the higher levels. That's the lower level. That's scoffing. The higher level after is when, uh, someone comes up and is like, "Hey, man, I'm going to trip you." And you're like, "You just did it." You're like, "What? That is so silly. Yeah, that's so dumb." Yeah. Uh, it's a laughter in the face of defeat. It's a laughter in the face of setback. It's a laughter in the face of a pursuing army. Because you cannot laugh while afraid. You can only truly laugh when you're not afraid. And laughter. Napoleon. Back to Napoleon. He says, "Sometimes, sometimes death comes from a lack of energy." When you're in this fight, and you're in this season, you cannot run out of energy. You have to be able to make it through. Wow. Or else you have a Pyrrhic victory. Pyrrhic victory. There was King, and Rome was taking over the known worlds. But there was one king they couldn't beat. And it was the, uh, I think it's the, the region of, of Pyrrhus. And the Romans fight him, and they go to battle with them. You know, the old, um, movies they make, like Lord of the Rings has this with the armies with elephants in them. Yeah. This comes from Pyrrhus. Wow. He had elephants in his army. And so Rome loses. So the general, or the king, is victorious, but he loses so much of his military that he can't fight another battle. So he won the battle, but he lost the war. Because what Rome did is they just waited. They came back six months later, and there was no army. So they took over the, MH, took over the place. Yeah.

What the enemy will try to get you to do, if you understand these principles, if you know how to meditate, if you know how to align your belief systems with God, if you know how to pray prayers of declaration, and if you know how to, uh, get into this place where you are playing offense against it, what the enemy will switch to is he'll switch to just like, "Can we put this person through a Pyrrhic victory where they make no mistake, they're going to cross the finish line because we can't meddle with the, with the altar here. We can't actually, we can't actually do anything to Jake. But man, we can make him so tired and so exhausted that his life becomes not worth living. He can have this battle, but if we can put him in a position where he can never fight again, it's as good as us winning." Wow. So that's why you see people that, well, maybe it's a reason why you see people get massive businesses, do big things, and they're done for the rest of their lives. They can't, they couldn't hang on to it. Wow.

It also dovetails into like, it's a good thing that the Israelites did not inherit Canaan when they went there. It's actually a good thing because what they would have done is they would have just death by a thousand cuts. They didn't actually believe God. They didn't actually live the way God wanted. They didn't have the faith for it. They never would have hung on to it. They required Joshua to be able to hang on to what God had given them, or else it would have been a Pyrrhic victory. Wow. They would have won the battle because God told them they would, but then they would have turned around and lost the next battle. Which is why we have to let go of our timelines. Because if a, a good thing too soon becomes a bad thing. Victory prematurely will kill you way faster than never losing. M.

So you, we train on the ability to laugh, the ability to have peace, the ability to to not become fatigued and not lose our energy. And so then Abraham turns around, he has a son named Isaac, which means laughter. So he named him after, which was basically Abraham was building an altar. Abraham knew he understood all this stuff. So like, sometimes the Israelites would go through a battle, they would build an altar. Sometimes they would just name their kids after the situation, and that was their altar. Which is why the names are so relevant in this day. M.

So laughter is good medicine. What happens when you're sick? You take some medicine, right? Y. You take some medicine, you get better. Laughter is the medicine for the spirit. When you are fatigued, when you're exhausted, uh, start learning how to laugh. Start training yourself. People are like, "What is he talking about? Thought this was about spiritual warfare." Oh, man, this is like, this is spiritual warfare. It's like, "Man, every time we hurt this kid, he thinks it's funny. Let's try a new strategy." This is why they had to go after me with money because I know how to, I know this. I know how to laugh, dude. M. You come to our events, it's a hoot. People are freaking, it's hilarious. I know how to laugh. And at some point, the strategy of the enemy switched to like, "Well, we can't really, we can't really stop him, but maybe we could subtly in the middle of the night switch out his God and give him money, and then he begins to worship that instead of Yahweh." That happened to me. They, I did the work for them. M. Whereas when you look at my life now, it's like, "Man, I don't care what you do. Like, have fun. You take money, I'm going to go give some money. You make me sick, I'm going to go pray for people to get healed. You hurt me with the relationship, I'm just going to build brand new relationships and I'm going to heal their trauma through exposure to me and the process." There's nothing you can do because all of it backfires. And all along the way, this is the best, this is you. It's the best. The best. Like, you come at the, you come at the King of the universe by stealing $1,000. You have to pay that back. Take as long as you want, 'cause it's going to be doubled every four or five years. M.

Is this the posture? This is why, like, it's not when you get aligned with God's promises, your whole posture changes. M. You're just no longer afraid. And when you're not afraid anymore, you can begin to laugh. Yep. Make sense? Yep.

All right. Real quick, let's talk about training because I really, this is a verse that I want people to sort of meditate on as they leave and go through their business. Anything you would add to this or challenge on this? Or? No, it's really good. Psalms 18:34: "He trains my hands for war." David is talking about God. God trains my hands for war. We started the episode, I said I want to train your instincts. War is an instinct. War is a habit. It's the seconds in between. It's the myelin in your brain. It's the myelin in your spirit. It's something comes up, what do I do? How quickly do I align with God's promises? But I started looking at this because "trains" was an interesting word to me because I'm a trainer, and so I train people. It's like, well, what does this mean if God trains me and I'm training people? How does that training work? And here's what I found. "Trains" is, uh, *y-l-a-d*. A primary root. So in the Strong's, it gives you like all of these contextual cues as to what the word, uh, means. But here's what it says in the Strong's: It means to go. What's "go" mean? We're going to get there. Here's what the definition, or dictionary definition says: It can mean to corral, but it can also mean to provoke. Why? I think this is like, this was huge for me because what it means is that the process of being trained can sometimes look like, like you're being put into positions that will provoke you to actually fight. It's me in the middle of the FTC. It's you finally getting to a place where you're done tolerating sickness. It's someone getting to a position where it does not matter what the economy is doing, you're done. You have been provoked to a level that you are now willing to fight for it. That's what the word "trains" means. It's a stimulus. It's not just like, "2 + 2 = 4. Hooray, you did it." Yeah. It's a, you are being provoked to step into your authority. And we're not ever going to be provoked stepping into authority when our lives are so easy that we've got no reason to step into our authority. Yeah. It's, it's in the physical. It looks like this: me coming up to you and pushing you over and over again until your F like, "Stop that. Stop doing that." What do you push me back? MH. In the spirit, is you're going to be, you're exposed to things, and you're to provoke you to actually take a hold of this and use it. Yep. And what happens when this happens? Your prayers change. You stop going from like, "Please stop doing that," to "Stop doing this. You're not allowed to do this anymore." M. That's what David is saying. You provoke me to war. You provoke me to learn how to do this through this, and this, and this, and this, and this. Again, dude, the New Testament cleans all this up. Romans 8. We keep coming back to it because everything that in your life, spiritually speaking, that pushes against you, actually provokes you to step into your inheritance. It's your title. Like, you know what? Fine. If we're going to play this way, here's the title. Here's the words. Read it, then get out. You don't do that when you have no reason to exercise jurisdiction. Correct. That's the clip. That's good. That's R in good stuff. Love it. You good? Great. Really good. Good. I love that you're teaching this stuff because I don't know who else. Anybody else who is the Bible.
