Did you know that before God blesses you in a big way, He often sends clear signs? But here's the thing, most people miss them. They get frustrated thinking their prayers are unanswered when in reality, God is setting them up for something greater. If you've been waiting for a breakthrough, this message is for you. Pay close attention because if you notice these signs in your life, it means God is preparing to give you something big.
Think about Joseph. He had big dreams, but before they came true, his life seemed to fall apart. Sold into slavery, falsely accused, thrown into prison – nothing looked like a blessing, but all of it was preparation. God was positioning him for greatness, even when it didn't feel like it. The same applies to you. Before a big blessing, there's often a season of testing, realignment, and unexpected shifts.
So, what are the signs that God is about to bless you? The first sign is intense challenges. Before breakthrough comes, battle. If you've been facing difficulties, opposition, or setbacks, it might be a sign that the enemy is trying to stop what God is about to release in your life. James 1:2-3 reminds us, "Dear brothers and sisters, when Troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy, for you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow." Instead of seeing obstacles as a stop sign, see them as a setup for something greater.
Another sign is divine disconnection. Sometimes, right before God blesses you, He removes certain people from your life. It may be painful, but it's necessary. Not everyone can go where God is taking you. He separates you to protect you. If relationships have ended, doors have closed, or you've felt isolated, don't be discouraged. Jesus Himself often withdrew to be alone before major moments in His ministry. God may be calling you into a season of separation to prepare you for what's next.
Then there's spiritual restlessness. You may feel like something is shifting, but can't explain it. Your spirit senses that change is coming. You may lose interest in things that once excited you. You may feel a deep urge to pray more, seek God more, or step out in faith. This is God stirring something new within you. Isaiah 43:18-19 says, "For I am about to do something new; see, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness; I will create rivers in the dry wasteland." When you feel this shift, lean into it.
And finally, doors opening unexpectedly. Opportunities you didn't even ask for start appearing. Favor follows you. Things start aligning in ways you never imagined. This is a sign that God's plan is unfolding. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not depend on your own understanding; seek His will in all you do, and He will show you which path to take." When God is leading you, you don't have to force things; they fall into place.
If you're experiencing these signs, don't be afraid. It means you're on the edge of something big. Stay faithful, stay expectant. God is moving, even when you don't see it.
