So, in the aftermath of the Bondi Beach massacre against Jews, Constantine Kissen, the host of trigonometry, tweeted, he said, "Every time something like this happens, I have a flash of naivity sweep through me. This will be the last straw. They'll stop pretending there's no problem now. Surely they can't just do don't look back in anger again, etc. Just watch. It will be the same every time."
Well, when the Australian prime minister starts talking about, well, you know, it's anti-semitism, but he then talks about right-wing extremism and we need to be tougher on gun laws. If he's unable to say that this is Islamic terrorists, if he's unable to recognize that fueling the anti-Israel cause fuels this, pours fuel into the fire of anti-semitism, if he's unable to see how recognizing a Palestinian state is part of the problem, if he's unable to see how mass migration of Western countries that import people who have values that are hostile to the West, hostile to Jews, if he's unable to see any of that, well, the question is Why? Why do they bury their heads in the sand?
Here's Constantine Kissen's answer. Have you ever wondered why in the wake of every Islamist terrorist attack, our media and politicians bend over backwards to make the extraordinary claim that Islamism has nothing to do with Islam? The answer is a mixture of things, of course, but the central reason is easy to understand if you think about it logically. To avoid offending morons, let's not talk about people and talk about apples instead. As you know, there are red apples, green apples, and yellow apples. Let's imagine for a second that a small percentage of green apples are poisonous and can injure and kill people. It's difficult to distinguish the toxic green apples from the other green apples which are perfectly peaceful, law-abiding, and so forth.
Now, imagine that you're the public health authority whose job it is to protect the public. If your concern is solving the problem of the small minority of toxic green apples, you would immediately do a number of things. You might devote significant resources to identifying the toxic green apples and removing them from the supermarket shelves. You might commission thorough research into how and where the toxic green apples are grown. You might crack down very very hard on anyone who knowingly participates in growing or distributing such apples. You might even say that while you are dealing with the problem of deaths caused by toxic green apples, bringing more green apples into the country is liable to worsen the public health crisis until suitable measures are identified which allow you to separate the bad green apples from the good ones. This is how you would act if your primary concern was the safety of the public.
But what if you as the public health authority had spent the preceding decades claiming that all apples are the same? That to suggest that a small minority of green apples are potentially toxic is fear-mongering and greenophobic. What if you'd been openly encouraging unfiltered importation of green apples and actively resisted calls to thoroughly check whether such apples are in fact digestible for your citizens? What if your mantra for the last 20 years had been that anyone who believes there may be significant variations between the toxicity of different types of apples is a bigger who must be suppressed for fear of emboldening the far right. If you were in fact responsible for the fact that people were now being killed on the streets of your country by the small minority of toxic green apples, would you not do everything in your power to explain that the diversity of apples is our greatest strength? That the toxicity of green apples has nothing to do with them being green? that any doctor who suggests that the government should carefully regulate the importation of green apples specifically is a racist. The central premise of our elite consensus is that we must continue to pretend that all apples are the same no matter how many people pay for this lie with their lives.

Now, getting back to the video, um I want to talk to you about what the point Constantine was making about this burying your heads in the sand phenomenon. And I think he's right that if you've been pedalling a lie for so long, it takes a great deal of maturity in order to be able to not just maturity, humility in order to look in the mirror and say, "One second, this is not working. This is wrong." But you know what? It has to happen because if it doesn't, the only thing that happens is the problem gets worse and worse. I remember doing an interview with Glenn Beck a few months ago as you saw that was one of the clips in our highlights reel that I just showed you where Glenn was saying that you have this phenomenon called normaly bias where people just assume things can't be that bad things can't change that much and we have to believe that but it's dangerous because it can lull us into a sense of security and avoid us make make us avoid facing reality. The reason why so many people in Israel, so many young people don't have the same views as young people in the West, is because they're confronted by reality. And the concern is that Glenn also said is that his worry is that the only time people finally mature in their views and realize what needs to be done is when the wolves start feeding, is when things get really bad. We have to let what's happened to date be the wakeup call. And the wakeup call means specific policy prescriptions. It doesn't just mean we're shocked and we say we, you know, we're never allowed to happen again. We need to start building specific policy prescriptions for Western nations to stop anyone from having rights to freely live in a country that has any sympathies whatsoever with Islamic terror. It's that simple. That includes supporting Hamas. That includes anyone that supports any terror organization or act of terrorism or has any sympathy for that being done in the name of Islam. Unless you say, "Well, that's politically incorrect and then you want to go for national suicide." Fine. Destroy yourselves in the process. That's one part of it. And the other part of it is dealing with the ideology head on. And that's precisely what JTV is about. We are trying to show people, we recognize that on the one hand you've got vacuous secularism and on the other hand you've got extremist Islamic uh ideology. I think both are a problem and the Jewish people now I believe part of the reason on a cosmic level the world's magnifying glass is on the Jews is because we are the ones that can actually shine the light of truth the the real healthy holy path of living life which rejects either of those extremes and says actually you serve God by making bringing God into this world by bringing more life to this world by following following his Torah, not other versions or iterations. The original was always perfect to begin with. That's what we're here to do. We actually in some ways can be the bridge between the secular West and the extremist uh Islamic ideology.
