EASY Korean Bulgogi (that you can also meal prep!)

[Music] Welcome to part two of my Asian freezer meal prep series.

What if I told you that instead of spending $30 on Korean barbecue, you can make your own at home for way cheaper. Not only that, but it freezes and stores really well, which is so convenient for those busy nights that you don't want to pull out the cutting board and cook.

This is my bugi recipe. And if you're not familiar with this dish, it's beef marinated in a savory sauce that is to die for, especially when served with my garlic butter corn rice.

After freezing the bugi, I thought it then cooked it, but you can definitely cook before freezing, too.

To make the bugi, start with the marinade. It's all going to be blended together, which simplifies cleanup. Combine soy sauce, garlic, and apple, median, and a bit of brown sugar, which helps the meat caramelize a bit while cooking. Then lastly, go to dong for spice. Toss your beef, onions, and green onions in the marinade. Then either cook to eat immediately or freeze for later.
