Random: Welcome to Random's Random Silence!

Random: As this challenge suggests, I will put 5 random competitors in one room, and they are not allowed to make any noises.

Random: There is no time limit set, so I don't have to make a final round to decide the winner!

Random: Speaking of that, only one person will come out with money as the prize!

Random: To not waste any time, ready, set, go! *Random leaves the 5 contestants - Sans, Mario, Luigi, Sonic, and Kirby inside the empty room.* *Random is watching them from outside, ready to observe the noisy mistakes the contestants may make throughout the challenge...* *...the five of them are just, standing idle without doing anything, or letting out a word.* *Random is still watching them, but so far, nothing is going on.*

Random: Alright, this challenge is getting a little boring.

Random: How about you guys spice it up by doing whatever you guys want as long as you don't use your voices?

*The restrictions have slightly loosened! Now they are allowed to interact with objects as long as they don't let a sound out their mouths.* *The contestants are still standing idle...* *And Sonic took out a chili dog to munch on!* *While Kirby goes to the other side of the room...* *At that area, Kirby is looking around for the best spot to relax...* *...and he then falls asleep!* *Meanwhile, Mario gets into one of the corners of the room...* *...and takes out his iPhone to doom-scroll for trendy posts in a social media app.* *And Mario gets distracted by a certain video announcing something important...*

Announcer (speaking from the speakers of Mario's iPhone): Attention to all massaging chair companies!

Announcer (speaking from the speakers of Mario's iPhone): You are all invited to join the massaging chair convention at the local shopping mall at BreadButterVille City this week.

Announcer (speaking from the speakers of Mario's iPhone): The best massaging chair brand will be rewarded amazing rewards like cash...

Announcer (speaking from the speakers of Mario's iPhone): And since the convention slots will be limited, you have to be quick and register now before the slots are empty.

Announcer (speaking from the speakers of Mario's iPhone): We will see you there!

*Mario turns off his iPhone and keeps it aside. For the sake of SereneSmooth, Mario quickly leaves the room to register for the event...* *Mario is ready to get his and Luigi's SereneSmooth massaging chair brand in registration and also outwit their opponent brand which is CrashBash!* *Mario really cares about his company's profits over the ongoing silent challenge. No difference when it comes to money, but sales are important!*

Random (stares at Mario from afar): Oh, I forgot to mention whenever you get out of the room you're disqualified from the challenge!

Random: So Mario's out!

Random: I also forgot to add a new rule...

Random: You can't physically kick out another participant out of the room or you're out!

Random: If any of you is trying to question me about violence, as long as it's not too severe, you're good.

*Meanwhile, with his iPhone mute, Sans is busy watching Undertale gameplay...* *And then there is Luigi doom-scrolling on a social media app while Sonic is next to him doing nothing.* *Luigi smacks Sonic's upper-back area to give a signal that Sonic should look at Luigi's iPhone.* *Luigi then shows a post that he's found on the social media app. The catch is, the video clip seems to be drastically offensive to Sonic...* *Sonic was shocked upon all the horrible stuff he's seen and heard in that video clip... Sonic was NOT having this.* *Luigi closes the app and gently keeps his iPhone away...* *...and looks at Sonic with a smile to signal Sonic to share his opinion about that post.*

Sonic (wrathfully punches Luigi): HYAH!

Random: Sonic, you're out!

*Sonic was mad that he should've kept his mouth shut while venting his anger at Luigi, but whatever Luigi showed him didn't do better, so he slowly leaves the room in defeat...* *Luigi takes out his iPhone in victory and continues doom-scrolling on social media.*

Random: Alright, your smartphones are making this challenge a bit too easy!

Random: Please hand them over!

*Sans, Luigi, and Kirby proceeds to hand their smartphones over to Random.*

Random (claims the smartphones): Thank you, I will return them after the challenge ends!

Random: Though, you guys have to stop being idle from now on.

Random: Because I need to end the challenge quick.

Random: If you stay idle for more than a minute, you'll be eliminated!

*After the smartphone confiscation, Luigi turns around and sits down with a frustrated look (he's probably mad that his iPhone was taken away) while Sans and Kirby are standing idle.* *Kirby carefully leaves to the same corner of the room where he fell asleep.* *Kirby looks up and feels a little dizzy...* *Sans suddenly appears next to Kirby and looks at him...* *Kirby looks back at Sans with a sad yet exhausted look. Just like Luigi, Kirby is probably rambling about his need of his smartphone deep down...* *Sans didn't hesitate to pull Kirby close to him and gives Kirby a really tight yet loving hug. Who said a skeleton can break their bones while hugging?* *Kirby passes out from Sans' hug and falls asleep... for the second time.* *Sans carefully leaves Kirby on the ground sleeping...* *Meanwhile, Luigi is still sad that his iPhone was taken away...* *...and Sans arrives on the spot and stares at Luigi.* *Sans also playfully smacks Luigi from behind to cheer Luigi up.* *For a really harmless smack, why did he needed to wear his gaster blaster firearm to do that?! His bare hands can suffice, or maybe Sans did not want to risk breaking his hand?* *Luigi gets up and looks at Sans with a confused face.*

Kirby (while sleeping as he accidentally squeaks): Ick!

Random: Kirby is out!

Kirby (runs out of the room and approaches Random): Huh, when did I get eliminated?

Random: I could still hear a fraction of your voice while you were breathing.

Kirby (takes his smartphone back from Random): Damn it, I should've stayed still...

*With a sad look, Kirby leaves the scene.* *Back in the room, Sans and Luigi are still looking at each other while making signs...* *And suddenly, Sans pulls Luigi close to him and hugs Luigi to cheer him up from the smartphone confiscation.*

Luigi (while hugging Sans in relief): Ahh...

Random: Luigi is now out!

Luigi (while he and Sans stop hugging each other): WAIT-?! ARE YOU SERIOUS?! I-I FORGOT THAT WE ARE SUPPOSED TO BE QUIET!!!

*Luigi quickly leaves the room and also takes his iPhone back from Random...*

Random: Which means Sans, if you're the only one left in the room, you have been chosen as the winner!

*Confetti blows up as Rogues Gallery (Mirage Saloon Act 2) - Sonic Mania is playing in the background.*

Random: So do you have any words?

Sans: Erm, actually, I don't really have much to say.

Sans: Whatever I got from this challenge is that sometimes, the key to victory is pure silence.

Sans: It was fun to chillax in that room, though.

Random (hands over the money bag and Sans' iPhone to Sans): Alright, enjoy your free money, bye!
