It is dead, but you know, I wish it weren't. To be honest with you, I think people were horribly treated, horribly abused. This has nothing to do with Todd. This was me. Uh, horribly abused. And I'd like to see them compensated for the the pain. They lost their families. They committed suicide. Many people committed suicide. They went down for an innocent journey. And I'm not only talking there. I'm talking about not even having to do with that. The way they were treated, the Biden administration and the Obama administration weaponized government and destroyed lives.
So John Cornin and Tom Tillis are withholding their votes for Todd Blanch because they're not yet convinced that Blanch won't immediately resurrect the 1.8 8 billion slush fund for Trump, especially since the White House refuses to make that change in writing. But still, Blanch is trying to claim that it's definitely totally dead. Don't worry, this thing absolutely is not moving forward. Take my word for it. Cut two.
The first thing Donald Trump says about it is, "People were horribly treated and abused. I'd like to see them compensated." So, uh, are you convinced yet, Cornin and Tillis? Is that the confirmation you needed that Donald Trump totally won't resurrect this the second he has the chance? Like all Trump had to do was not gravel over his slush fund. That's it. Just lie. It's the one thing he's great at. But he is so ham-handed that he couldn't even not do that. He is so devoid of any discipline and self-control that even as his own attorney general confirmation is being tanked on this issue, he couldn't manage to offer up the simplest reassurance that he wasn't going to immediately resuscitate this insurrectionist fund the second Blanch gets confirmed. Of course he will. If he can't offer reassurance when Blanch's confirmation depends on it, then obviously he has zero intention of allowing the fund to die once Blanch is actually confirmed. once he actually has the power to deliver on it.
Also, Trump says they went for an innocent journey. Anybody watching this video or watching Donald Trump speak right now is old enough to remember what happened on January 6, 2021. That was not an innocent journey. That was thousands of people at Trump's orders breaking into the US capital in an effort to stop the certification of a free and fair election, kill Nancy Pelosi, and hang Mike Pence. that was innocent in the same way that Trump himself is innocent of all the crimes that he was prosecuted for, only of course to use the presidency as a shield from any further prosecution.
What this shows is that Todd Blanch is just as big a liar as Donald Trump. He knows full well that Trump has zero intention of killing the slush fund, but he pretends that it was dead, even when he was asked point blank why he wouldn't simply put it in writing.
But let's talk a little bit about the set about the um settlement agreement and the release. Um first of all, I believe you have said that the weaponization fund is a moot issue. Is that your position?
Yes, it is a moot issue. Meaning there is no weaponization fund. The weaponization fund is dead. It's not moving forward.
Well, I would refer you to the U settlement agreement. Do you have have a copy of that in front of you?
I I do not.
Okay. Well, you probably know what's what's in it.

I'm sure you are. On page four, this settlement agreement can be modifi may be modified only upon the written agreement of the parties. Has there been a written agreement of the parties to modify the settlement fund?
No, the settlement fund is just not moving forward. There's no there's no modification. It's just it never started. No money went from the treasury to any other account. There's no commissioners. It's not moving forward. Well, the so the settlement agreement remains as it was originally. Um, but you're I hear what you're saying. Um, is it in is the settlement agreement enforceable as a contract by the parties?
Well, yes, it's an enforceable document. So, I suppose if if President Trump's council sought to enforce it, um, that they potentially could um.
Including including the weaponization fund.
Well, they could try to enforce the the contract. They can't force the Department of Justice to move forward with the weaponization fund. They could potentially say that I suppose that we breached by not moving forward. They haven't done that and I'm I'm not aware that they're planning on doing that.
So basically, Blanch is offering up only verbal assurance that the weaponization fund won't continue, but refuses to offer up any written confirmation because then it would be real, then it would be binding. And they can't possibly have that because as we all know, the second Todd Blanch were to get confirmed, Trump would seek the resurrection of that fund. And Todd Blanch would not only not stop him, he would help him as he did with the literal creation of the fund itself.
And I think it's worth noting who this helps. Trump may frame this as a gift to the insurrectionists, the patriots, but let's be clear, he drives a very clear benefit for himself. If Trump is able to have billions of dollars at his disposal to reward people who commit violence on his behalf, the beneficiary here is Trump, especially with elections coming up in the near future where he has a vested interest in making sure that his political party wins. When Trump can block audits for himself, his family, and his businesses, the beneficiary here is Trump. Everything that's happening here is to the benefit of one person. This isn't the president of the United States acting on behalf of the country. It is him acting on behalf of him. All of which I explained on POS save America here.
The most striking part of all of this is like this is all about Trump. Like all of this is about one guy. This is not in deference to like millions of people or tens of millions of people or hundreds of thousands of people. This is about an issue where the beneficiary is a slush fund that Trump gets to wield so that he can pay off people who did his bidding and also protection from tax audits for him and his family. That's what all of this is about.
That part is astounding and should never happen.
Like this this whole thing is because Trump wants to make sure he can continue to derive maximum political and financial and personal benefit for himself and his family.
And and his family. This is Donald Trump acting on behalf of Donald Trump. And this whole circus that we're engaged in right now is all like all just filters down to the continued benefit of one man. That's it. So of course this redowns to Trump benefit because quite literally everything he does is for his own benefit. That's why after winning the presidency with a campaign predicated on lowering costs, he sent costs surging while he personally tripled his net worth because it helps him. He cut health care for tens of millions of Americans, but built himself a ballroom because it helps him. He started a war that he swore he'd avoid, which sent gas cost surging, but used our taxpayer dollars to retrofit a Qatari jet for himself because it helps him. Everything he's done is for his own benefit.
But importantly, and just as disqualifying, the Republicans let him. Remember, Republicans in the Senate and in the House are in a co-equal branch of government. They have autonomy to step in, to help their own constituents, to demand that something, anything, actually materially improve, to make good on their own campaign promises. No Democrats in the majority anywhere to gum up the works. And yet, instead of exercising that power, instead of exercising that autonomy, they have contracted every ounce of their power to the executive branch as Trump pilers the government to help himself. They wouldn't even prevent him from suing his own IRS for $10 billion. A judge had to step in and stop him from doing that. According to them, that's 100% acceptable. But god forbid we have health care. God forbid we could afford food. God forbid housing was cheaper. If there was any doubt about who this government serves, you don't even have to believe me. Just believe your own wallets. This is what Republican governance gets you. And there are no Democrats in power to pin the blame on.
