One of the biggest limiting beliefs that I see people comment on a regular basis is the idea of Michael, this social circle stuff would never work for me. I live in a small town. This doesn't work. I'm a victim. Uh, I don't know how to do this. I'm not in a big city like you with all the big parties and all the hot girls.
Bro, I am the last person to cry to. I lived in Warner Robbins, Georgia. I lived in Altus, Oklahoma. I lived in Witchah, Kansas. And I was still able to create an amazing social circle in that city, and multiple other cities. The idea that being in a small town is somehow some massive disadvantage for you, that is you just being a victim. That's not correct.
We have so many clients that are in the program that I've coached that are in places like Eastern Washington or live in Cheyenne, Wyoming. They live in places like rural Georgia or Mississippi and they're still able to create amazing social circles. We have one guy, he's a doctor of agriculture and he was able to throw this massive photo shoot in Omaha, Nebraska. Why is it they were able to do this to create an incredible social circle, but you don't seem to be able to?
So, I'm going to go over the reasons why it's a massive advantage to be in a smaller town when you're creating a social circle. Here's the first massive misconception that you have. You think you need to be in a big city in order to have a big social circle. It's actually worse in a big city. Uh, one of my buddies, Nate, the promoter, he talked about how vicious it is in order for guys to just get into nightclubs anywhere in the city. You have to have money. The girls have to be super hot.
So the problem with these bigger cities is that it's a tall narrow triangle. So I want you to consider the social life there. There's a bunch of people at the base of the triangle, very narrow, and then you have to go a long way to get to the top. So if you're just like an average guy going out in Los Angeles, it's very difficult for you to get to huge party with Paris Hilton and Logan Paul and Calabasas. Those parties are outside your reach. Millionaires hosting parties inside the Hollywood Hills. It's very difficult for you to get invited to those. Near impossible for that to happen. Same thing if you live in a place like Manhattan. There's incredible parties that are in these pen houses and you're not invited to them. Same thing in Miami. Unless you're a girl who's amazingly attractive or you're a very very wealthy guy or a guy with a boat, it's very hard to get hooked up in the in the nightlife scene in those cities. And so that's why it's a little bit more difficult.
A city that has a much flatter triangle, meaning like a wider and flatter triangle, would be a city like Dallas, a city like Scottdale, a city like Nashville, a city like Austin. And the flattest triangle of any city I've ever seen in my life is Las Vegas. In Las Vegas, I would see these guys who were just like scrub club promoters making $40,000 a year, maybe less. And they would go out and these guys would be dating like six girls who were like tens playmate quality girls. Very, very little effort because they kept getting free comps, free drinks, free hotel rooms, free dinners, free every night they would get free stuff because it was so much easier. Especially during the week in Las Vegas when all the tourists are gone. It's so easy to get comps here. So this was actually the flattest triangle, but I've also seen the same thing in places like Dallas or Austin or places like that.
So let me talk about this concept specifically. So we've had several clients that live in places like I said Shying Wyoming or Eastern Washington or places that live in like rural country towns in Oklahoma or Mississippi or different places like that. And the one thing that they had that they didn't recognize is that if there was no scene, they created a scene. Meaning there was one guy, he's a grandfather, he lives in Eastern Washington. Uh, he was a nuclear safety engineer. He's in our program. What he did was he rented a boat like the like the cheapest wake boarding boat that he could get now because he's in Eastern Washington. He's not paying Los Angeles prices. He's not paying like Biscane Bay prices in Miami. He's paying a third of that to rent the boat for the weekend. And then because he understand how to build a social circle, he would invite every attractive girl in Eastern Washington onto his boat. And it wouldn't matter because it the boat could only hold like eight or nine people. If he had six or seven girls show up, he took a video of it and then all of a sudden more girls want to come and then he had a house and in his house he had it set up where he could throw parties in the house and he had like a you know just regular stuff where people were drinking beer outside and playing beer pong. But because people saw that and there was absolutely no competition for him in Eastern Washington, this guy within the course of 3 months became the social circle king of Eastern Washington and was dating beautiful women out there. There's beautiful women everywhere. It's just most of them aren't going out anymore. And so now because he was able to do that, because he was able to create this incredible social circle in Eastern Washington, nobody could compete with him. In fact, other guys were sitting there jocking him trying to get on his guest list to come to his parties at his house because there is no social circle there.
I will tell you personally, when I lived in Witchah, Kansas, the night life there wasn't great. But whenever I try whenever I would go out on a regular basis, maybe one out of every 30 or 40 girls you see there was like really attractive. Well, I would collect all those girls. I'd get their social media. I talk to them on a regular basis on social media just like I teach in the Men of Action program and then whenever I had a get together or an event or we would all go to a wine tasting or something in downtown Witchah, I would only invite those attractive girls. The reason why they would always say yes is because there was nobody better. There was no competition. There's literally there wasn't any scumbag promoters trying to offer these girls cocaine. I didn't have that problem. There was no dude trying to out Rolex me or show up in a yacht. I was in Witchah, Kansas. So if I had any cloud at all, if I was a one out of 10, I basically had a monopoly over the whole city. It was actually easier to create a social circle in a small town because if there was no scene, I created the scene and there was absolutely no competition.
Now listen, if you just want to skip this and learn how to do all of this yourself, we're talking about cities with under a million people or even cities under 5,000 people. If you want to learn a strategy to be able to create a social circle in a smaller town where there's much less competition, click the link below. Just skip to the end and for the rest of you stay tuned.
Before I forget, there's also one other type of small town that has a disproportionately high number of attractive women and that's a college town. Like for instance, Austin has a lot of beautiful women, but per capita, there's also a lot of attractive women in smaller towns in Texas like Leach or Waco or College Station because that's where Texas Tech Baylor and Texas A&M University are. And so in those cities, if you can get near those cities, I have a buddy of mine, he lives in a small town of Athens, Georgia, but he because he's near the University of Georgia, he's around a lot of attractive women. Also, in those smaller towns, like I said before, the entire town is built around the university. So, you just don't have as much competition. It's much easier to be a club promoter or to start house parties or to have a running club or to have people go with you to an escape room or have dinner nights or have tequila and wine tasting or go to an animal rescue or whatever social scene you want to create in those small college towns as well. So don't discount that. If you live near a college town, that's also a massive advantage.
Okay, so this was a massive massive cheat code for me. One of the reasons why I was able to get through so many books, I I go through a lot of audio books every year wasn't just cuz I sat around and listen to audiobooks. I would make these drives from some of the small cities I lived in. So like Warner Robbins, Georgia, I would go to about an hour and 45 minutes to Atlanta. From Witchah, Kansas, I would drive almost every weekend 6 hours through Oklahoma to Dallas to go party in Dallas. Since I've lived here in Las Vegas, I would go to Los Angeles maybe 12 or 14 times a year and create a social circle in Las Vegas and another one in Los Angeles.
Now, here's the thing. How does that work? Because it seems like when I would go to this new city, I would have to start over from the beginning. And the reality is, you don't have to start over from the beginning. One of the cheat codes when it comes to social media is that you can carry it around with you like luggage. If you're a very attractive woman and you live in De Moines, Iowa, and you get off the plane in Miami, Florida, as soon as you get off the plane, everyone can look at you and see that you're attractive. Meaning, if you're a female, your attractiveness travels with you. But if you're a man and you have a ton of clout in Witchah, Kansas, or Lebec, Texas, when you get off the plane in Miami, Florida, nobody knows your clout. Now, there's exceptions. You could probably have a Richard Mill that's 200,000 or be driving a Bentley or something like that. But for the most part, people are not going to be aware of your status when you get off the airplane because you're a man. You don't take your attractiveness with you from one place to another. What is the way for you to collect and show your status? High status with low perceived effort and it travels with you. You got it. The answer is social media.
By building up your social media, not just in the town that you live in, the small town that you live in, but in other towns you travel to or just grow your social media in general, you're able to travel from city to city and have a social circle instantly whenever you go to different places. I'm leaving for San Francisco, California here in a couple of days. San Francisco has, I'm sorry to tell you this, if you live out there, you probably know this, it has terrible nightlife, and in general, the women are not very attractive when you go out there. It's very similar to Seattle. But when I go there, I've already got a social circle lined up of incredible dudes who are going to let me know where the best parties are. And when I do, the few women there that are very attractive, they're going to be at the places that I'm at because I've created a social circle on social media and included my Las Vegas social circle with my San Francisco social circle with my San Diego social circle, and my Scottsdale social circle, my Las Vegas social circle with my Dallas and Austin social circle, my Atlanta social circle with Miami social circle, and my New York social circle with my Boston and Philadelphia social circle because I've been able to merge all of them together whenever I travel to different places. This summer I'm going to London and I already know more than 100 people I'm going to meet up when I go there and I haven't been to London in years.
So how is it you're able to do this? Once again, you're able to collect status and show pre-selection. You're able to show attractive triggers like relevancy, competency, humor, charisma, pre-selection, and social proof. You're able to take that social proof with you from Witchah, Kansas, Cheyenne, Wyoming, De Mo, Iowa. You're able to bring it with you to New York, Miami, and Los Angeles by collecting people. You're going to get comments, likes, follows, etc. from all these other high status people in these different locations. You're going to collect them and use your social media as a receptacle almost like luggage that travels with you from one place to another.
So, this is a massive misconception. Guys think that because I live in a small town, I can't create a social circle. I've never created a greater social circle than when I lived in a small town. And let me just say one other side note. So during these times, I remember I had um when I was living in San Antonio and I would come to Austin every weekend where I first joined the military, I had like a a Toyota 4Erunner and then I had like an old beat up Toyota Camry when I would go from Warner Robbins to um Atlanta every weekend. And then I had this old three-speed three gear Subaru that I was driving back in the day, Subaru station wagon when I was a captain in Witchah, Kansas, and I would go Witchah to Dallas and back every weekend. And you might say, Michael, that sounds like a massive waste of time. No, I got through so many audio books. This is where I actually learned the skill of listening to audiobooks at 2.2 2.7 speed. I would get through 60 books a year because of the travel. So, this is kind of a hack. If you want to go on road trips and you want to use that time in order to listen audiobooks to build up your knowledge base so that you can start an amazing scalable business, this was a huge hack for me. So much of the knowledge and so many of the incredible books that I recommend to my guys on the book list came from these long drives back and forth where I was able to learn different ideas while I'm sitting there passively driving the car. And even right now I bought a Cybert truck in part because of the full FSD. So I can sit there and actually watch YouTube videos while I'm driving and educating myself on the drive to San Francisco next week. This is one of the greatest things I can tell you. A great way to level up your mind, your business, your mindset, your employment, all this different kind of stuff by listening to audiobooks, listening to classes, and listening to podcasts while you're traveling back and forth to these different locations.
So, another incredible cheat code that I have is this. So, I'll give you an example. Uh, Dave Grman, who owns Groot Hospitality, Dave is part owner of all the Komodos and all the poppy stakes all over the country. So when I was at Komodo in Dallas and I was there with a bunch of very attractive women, I took a picture and I said, "Dave, Dave had some item on the menu with that was actually named after him. I think it was pastrami egg rolls or something like that. It was absolutely fantastic." And I wrote Dave, I said, "Dave, this thing is really, really good." And then included a photo of me with a bunch of attractive women. Well, here's the thing. Now, if I hit up Dave Grman, which I did later on because we were looking for a venue to host a Bab toilet in Miami, he immediately responded. So now look at this. Because of me tagging a restaurant in Dallas, I get a hookup in Miami. This is real hard for you guys to understand. There's a bottle blonde or a concrete cowboy. I can't remember which one it is in Chicago. I went there and I know the owner, Rico Taylor, who lives in Dallas and I tagged him. I was like, "Yo, man. I'm at your venue here in Chicago. Looks pretty dope." I tagged him and he saw that I was at the venue and then he took care of me when I was in Dallas. You guys need to be writing this down. This is like extra advance advance advance game. The guys who the guy who owns Poppy Stake, you tag him when you're at a different Poppy Steak and say, "Yo, I had the best night ever. Shout out to Poppy Stake." They love that type of publicity. Even if it's not even him answering on his account, the fact that you did this, you're so much more likely to get a follow, a comment, or like, which is actually more social proof that's going to help you as you travel. I've never had anything help me more than this. Whenever I have a great time at someone's venue, I always tag the nightlife group and then I tag whoever the owner is. So, this could be a restaurant. I'm going to tag who the head chef is. I'm going to tag whoever the owner is in the post. And I have attractive women with me. Again, if you guys understand the men of action program, you friend zone every girl you meet. You make hundreds of female friends. And then you go to different events with four to six girls. You do this on a regular basis. You take photos, you post the photos, and then you tag the venue. Tag the owner, tag the main chef, tag whoever. When you do so, and they respond, you have so much easier a time getting comps, getting into different locations, and having your social circle travel with you. So now just imagine I don't live in Miami and I go to Miami and I hit up Dave Grutman or promoter Nate or I hit up JRock or someone like that. It's like, "Yo, man, I've got like eight girls with me and I get a comp setup." Now girls in Miami are confused how some dude in Las Vegas showed up in Miami and gets a comp to a club that they can't even get into or gets a a table at a restaurant that they can't even go to. It's crazy to them. It does. How does it work? It's so simple. You just follow the rules when it comes to social media and social circle. And whenever you go to a cool venue, just tag the people at the venue.
The other thing I will recommend, this is another cheat code. This is advanced. My sales team is going to be mad at me for even saying this one. Don't sit there and chitchat with the bouncers and hosts on the way into the club. Chitchat with the hosts and the bouncers on the way out of the club and always introduce them to the girls that you met or the girls that you're with. Every bouncer, every host in Vegas will tell you when they see me, I am constantly introducing them to girls that I am with. I am FL like it's overwhelming. I'll have eight girls with me and I'm like, "Hey guys, everybody." And I'll go person by person and go, "This is Steve. This is Don. This is the GM here. He runs the whole thing." I'll do that and I'll big up the guy. Do you think I ever have to wait to get into any venue in any I I could get I get into venues in in London because I do this. It's so simple. It's so crazy to me that more guys don't do this. It cost you nothing and they don't care if you have a bunch of followers. I was doing this before I had a podcast. So, I had like 8,000 followers on Instagram and it still worked. Take notes. This is how you do it. If you live in a small town, you have the ability to create a social circle and have your social circle travel with you using social media.
Now, this next point isn't just for small towns. This is for small towns and for big towns. The standards for bringing girls to a club have changed a ton. So, it used to be when I moved to Vegas 15 years ago, if I wanted to get a comp at SDK, I had to bring a minimum of 12 girls. So, 12 girls and no guys. And it was a regular regular occurrence. Like if you wanted a comp at Hayes, it was a minimum of like 10 girls to one guy, maybe more than that. I think the the lowest you would see is five girls and one guy at a comp. And that would be like on a slow Tuesday night. That's how you would get a comp. Those standards have dropped dramatically. I see couples where it's two guys and two girls getting a comp at huge nightclubs on a Saturday night. It's ve if you bring any girls. It used to be here in Vegas, every dude who went out knew if you wanted to get into a club, you had to bring girls. The same thing in Miami, same thing in New York, same thing in Los Angeles. It was just an unwritten rule. You could get in anywhere you wanted as long as you had a bunch of You get into parties in the Hamptons, you get into parties in Ibiza, you get into clubs in London, you could get, it didn't matter where you were. If you had girls with you, it wasn't that big of a deal. The number of guys who bring girls out with them since COVID happened, since we got into this heavy social media era, the number of guys who can actually bring even two girls out to a venue is so outrageously low. So whenever I go to a place, one of the first things I do is I invite a bunch of girls. So I'll give you an example, an immediate example. I'm going to be in San Francisco from February 4th through the 8th. So that's the night of the 5th, the night of the 6th, and the night of the 7th. I'm going to be going to different parties. I've already hit up the host at these different parties. And I've told them, "Hey, like, hey, man, I've got a bunch of girls with me. Where should I go tonight?" And then they're like, "Oh yeah, yeah. Come to my event." It used to be kind of hard. It used to be difficult. Like I you had to have a certain number of girls. You had to send them pictures and videos of all the girls. They don't even care anymore. I know in Miami nightlife they still do, but for the most part in most places if you bring any girls, you're part of the 1% of the 1% of guys. Even if they're mid girls, which I don't recommend you do, but even if they were, you're still so far ahead of 99% of men that are out there. If I had a guy who like came to my birthday party and I didn't know who he was, but he brought five girls and he introduced himself and he was super respectful. Normally, I would kick a guy out of my table if I didn't know who he was. But if he brought five, if he brought three girls and the girls were super respectful and nice and came up to me and said, "Happy birthday." I'm not going to kick him out of my table. He brought three girls. Nobody brings three girls.
Here's another completely side point. Dudes, nobody brings value anymore. None of you do. You, most of you guys, your behavior, you're completely worthless. You have no utility to society. I'm just trying to teach you the smallest way to have a monik of utility so that you can build a social circle. By the way, you can take everything I just said, flip it on its side, and then do this in order to create an amazing network and get a better job and start networking with extremely high status, wealthy individuals. The same thing works if you just bring a few girls to any one of these events. I would go to 10X conferences. I would go to Aspire conferences. I would go to elevator nights. I would go to whatever it is, any of these conferences where it's 95% dudes. I would show up with three, four pretty girls and I would be backstage. Why? Because nobody brings girls to anything. It's so easy to learn how to do this, especially if you understand the concept of friend-zoning women, friend-zoning every woman you meet. The ability for you to bring girls to events is just so freaking easy. I'll talk to these people who work in nightlife in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and Miami, and they all say the same thing. It's like, guys don't bring girls to clubs anymore because they've lost the ability. They've lost the gift of gab. They've lost the ability to communicate. They've all become slightly autistic when it comes to talking to women. They don't have the ability. They give girls the ick. They're kind of creepy and they're uncalibrated. Why is that? Is because after COVID, it really damaged the average guy's ability to talk to women. So, doing what I tell you, if you just put on any effort whatsoever, I know this is a weird example, but you only have to have 4,000 downloads a month to be in the top 5% of podcasts in the world. 4,000. Any one of you watching this, I'll come on your podcast. I'll get you 1,000 downloads just by having me on. 4,000 to be in the top 5%. Guys, if you can bring two girls to a nightclub, you're in the top 1% of guys in the world. That's how incredibly easy this is. And it's super simple to do, especially when you live in a small town and you have absolutely no competition because you're the only one organizing the run club, going to the escape room, setting up a a charity event for animal rescue, setting up the 5K run, everybody going to a nightclub together, everyone going to a nice dinner together, everyone going to a wine tasting together. There's so many easy, incredibly simple social events that you can create in a small town, some town the size of Altus, Oklahoma or Witchah, Kansas.
One other small benefit, try running jet skis on Lake Travis in Texas near Austin, and compare that price of jet skis to the price of jet skis when you go to Biscane Bay in Miami. Try comparing it like when you're in Arizona or some other place like that. When you live in small towns, look at the cost for gas. Look at the cost for renting a hotel room. Look at the cost for an Airbnb. Look at the cost for alcohol. Look at the cost for all of it. It's so much less expensive to actually create events in smaller towns because the cost of living is lower and your standard of living for the same amount of money is higher. This is one other massive advantage I don't talk about that much. Getting people to cater your event in Cheyenne and Wyoming is way less expensive than it is doing it in Manhattan, New York. It's way easier to do it in these places. So, take advantage of the lower cost of living.
One other thing, I bought probably the sickest penthouse in Witchah, Kansas for the price probably less than a quarter of what the venue I'm living in right now is like in Las Vegas. Like it was very very inex if I told you, you'd be like, "Do that's crazy cheap." It was very, very inexpensive for me to buy this penthouse that overlooked the stadium in Witchah and was right next to where all the cool stuff was going down. It was incredibly inexpensive. Why was I able to get that? Because Witchah is a smaller town. It doesn't have a huge vibrant nightlife. It does have amazing food. By the way, Witchah has some of the best food I've ever eaten in my life. But when you were when you were there, in order for me to get that incredible party location where everyone could meet before we went out, it cost me about a third of what it would have cost me in Los Angeles or Miami or in New York. And now, not only do I have an easier social life and I have less competition, I also have magnificent logistics because everybody comes and pre-parties over at my place and every afterparty was back over at my place.
And finally, let me say one last thing that's very much misunderstood about my program, about status in general, about my theories and philosophies. I don't need you to be famous. I don't need you to be that popular. I don't even need you to have 10,000 followers on Instagram. On a scale of 1 to 10, I need you to be a one. So 10 being like Tom Cruz, The Rock, Cristiano Ronaldo, Donald Trump. This is like a 10 out of 10. Elon Musk level of famous. On this level of famous, I just need you to be like a one out of 10. I need you to just be the guy that when you go to a restaurant, the Mater D and the chef and the GM are at least know your name. It's very easy. You can ask the GM, say, "Hey, I'd like to give you a compliment. I'd like to leave you a review. Can I talk to the GM?" The GM will come out and meet you. He'll give you his card. I guarantee you he will. And then when he comes out, introduce him to the pretty girls that you brought to his restaurant. He's going to be so incredibly thankful. It's one of the craziest things. You could take some of the most high status people in the world and if they open a nightlife venue, so let's just say it's Jason Strauss or if it's Dave Grubbin, if they open a new venue and you go to the venue and you stop by and you shake their hand and I just say, "Hey man, I just want to say congratulations on this new venue. It's really terrific. I'm going to tell everyone about it." I don't care how high status the guy is, he's going to say thank you, probably leave you a like and a follow. When you give of yourself to create a venue, you are so incredibly thankful of people that say that spread the word about your venue. That's how nightlife works. That's how hospitality works. So when you do that, it's very very easy to get connected with extremely high status people in hospitality and nightlife. It's very simple to do though. What I need you to do is just to be the guy that like everyone at your gym knows, everyone who works at the gym, everyone at the hottest nightclub in the city. You don't need to go there all the time, but the bouncer needs to know you by first name and shake your hand when you walk up. The GM needs to know you by the first name. Some of the more attractive waitresses in the city, they need at least know you. They've seen your face because of social media and you go out on a regular basis. I'm talking maybe two or three nights a month that you go out and you do this. Just a one out of ten what we call local celebrity status. It's very easy to create. I've created it in every single city I've lived in with the exception of Abu Dhabi. Uh, I really wasn't able to leave the the b I was stationed on a base in Abu Dhabi and they wouldn't let me go out to nightclubs cuz I was I was there on orders. But other than that, every single city I've ever lived in, I've been able to create a smudge a smidgen of local celebrity status that allowed me to have incredible access anywhere I went. It's very, very incredible when you're able to do this. And then it gets progressively easier because you know the guys who work at this club in this city. So when the sister clubs in this city, you have no problem. So like you you were sitting there trying to get into Omnia in uh one city and then you go to Omnia in another city and there's like, "Oh, do you know so and so?" It's like, "Oh yeah, that's that's my boy." And then they just let you right in. It's incredibly easy. Most people in most nightlife venues other than other than like say Miami or certain places in New York or Los Angeles, most of the time they want to be friendly and they want to let you in. They want to help you out. If you give them an excuse to let you into a venue, they're going to let you into a venue. But if you don't, if they don't want to let you in, all you have to do is have a few girls with you and it's generally pretty easy. And another thing I'll tell you, if you live in a city, let's just say you're trying to get hooked up in a city where it's very difficult to get in. This is not what this video is about, but I'm just going to give this piece of advice anyway. So, we're just talking about the three big ones would be New York, Miami, and Los Angeles. If you wanted to get good in those cities, you go on the slowest night possible. You bring a few girls with you. And on the way out, you sit there and connect with whoever the head uh host or promoter is. On the way out, you introduce him to all the girls you're with and you get his info. Then, you text him. And the way you text promoters or club hosts or whoever, it's always the same text. Hey, bro. I have a bunch of girls with me. Where should I go? So, you guys should write that down. Okay? I'm probably giving away too much here. Hey, I have I have some girls with me. Where should I go? And if the girls are really pretty, I would send them their IGs. Do thating magic. It's magic. You just get access to everything when you're able to do this. And I'm not just talking about nightclubs. I'm talking about restaurants. I'm talking about everything. I'm talking about movie premieres. I'm talking about house parties. I'm talking about mansion parties. I'm talking about everything. Every kind of social circle you could possibly want, you will get access to it just from that little hack that I gave you.
So, one more time in closing, please guys, please stop with this ridiculous victim mentality, stupid objection that I hear all the time that, "No, Michael, this doesn't work for guys like me. This is not going to work in the small town that I'm in. This only works for guys in Vegas. It only works for guys like that that are surrounded by girls. This won't work where I live." Again, I'm tired of it. I hopefully I've handled this objection. Hopefully, you guys have learned enough from this video. If you've heard all of this and you're like, "Michael, yeah, I get it.
