Open your Bibles with me today to Psalm 133, the 133rd psalm. Now, I'm gonna need y'all to help me preach this. Thank all five of y'all for that rousing affirmation. So, I think I'm gonna, I'm gonna, let me tell you what I'm gonna talk about. I'm going to talk about the power of unity, the power of unity. And I want to talk about that, and I'm going to walk through this, these three verses in Psalm 133. There are three verses, and I'm going to walk through through those. So, take, you can take no tests, we walk through it. I want to, it's a small verse, it's a small song, just these three verses. It's, it's small, but it reveals one of those powerful principles in Scripture. It's so powerful that whenever it's exercised, extraordinary things happen. God does the spectacular when he sees unity. Uh, it'll cause God to bless those who practice it, even when you got challenges in your life.
David is the writer of this psalm, and it is believed he wrote it after the divided Kingdom of Israel had been divided, but after they came back together. It is believed that David wrote it at that time that he saw that. Now, the problem is, a lack of unity will be the downfall of a lot of organizations. It's the Achilles' heel of our culture and the church at large. We have for a long time, many people have not functioned. People ask me this all the time, what do you ascribe the success of First Baptist Church of Glenarden to? And there's a lot of things I can say, but here's one of the things that I know to be true, that God favors the First Baptist Church of Glenarden because we operate in unity.
I'm grateful for our elders and our deacons and our deaconesses and our leaders. We, we're all headed in the same direction, walking down the same road, headed in the same path, and we will not allow anybody to come in and create disunity. It is such an amazing principle that if you put it in place in your life, in your business, in your marriage, God can do the spectacular. He will do the spectacular. God's all through scripture, we see God doing the spectacular things. As a matter of fact, let's, let's, let me just go ahead and just start walking through this passage for a second. Let me tell you, hold up, hold up, hold up. Let me tell you this. Some years ago, when I first became the pastor, we had Bible study, and about 10 people were coming to Bible study on Tuesday nights. And I said to the deacons, "You can't expect the people to do what the leaders don't do."
That's what I said. One of the deacons said to me in the meeting, he said, "I don't believe the Bible like you believe the Bible." Yeah. So he did. He did not accept the Bible. Matter of fact, as a matter of fact, he said the chemistry book that he wrote was just as inspired as the Bible. Him is no longer a deacon at the First Baptist Church of Glenarden. No, he's not. And, and by the way, I didn't have to do anything. Here's what the great thing about our deacons was at that time. They heard him say that, and all of them challenged him in his thoughts and his words, and he's soon right thereafter resigned from being a deacon at the First Baptist Church of Glenarden. The collapse are coming from this side over here. Let me, let me just walk over here because I see where my help is coming from already. I don't know about that side over there. They, they're not with, they're not with her, brother. Uh, they, they challenged him. The deacons, the rest of the deacons got to him and said, "You, you, you can't be a deacon here with that belief and that philosophy." So he resigned. Grateful, thank the Lord. Uh, I didn't have to say anything to him. And I like, they kind of had the attitude of what the children of, of, uh, Israel said when in Joshua chapter one. You get a chance to read this. Joshua chapter one. Uh, God said to Joshua, after Moses had died, God said to Joshua, "As I was with Moses, so shall I be with you." And the people, the leaders of Israel said, "We will follow you just like we followed Moses." And then, then they said this, this is amazing thing. They said, "Anybody that won't do the things you say, we will kill." I like those kind of leaders like that. As a matter of fact, I tell people all over the country when I travel, I said, "We are a unified church." And I say to them, "If you come to the First Baptist Church and talk about Pastor John K. Jenkins, Sr., the mothers of the church will take you out back and beat you with their canes in Jesus' name." If you can't get on board with where we're going and what we're doing and the vision of this house, there are plenty other churches down the street because we operate in unity.
Now, I want you to get this because a lot of marriages fail, a lot of businesses fail, a lot of churches fail, a lot of organizations don't succeed because it cannot and will not operate in unity. And that's an important thing. You got to get that. Your marriages are failing because marriages are failing because the husband and wife can't get on the same page. They're headed in opposite directions, and it's problematic. It's a challenge. It's an issue. And it is our prayer that I, I just want to help you get some order and structure in your family and in your life. And so, I just got three points today. I'm gonna make it, and then I'm gonna be finished.
First, the first point I want to talk about is the principle of unity, and it's right here in verse one of chapter of the first verse of Psalm 133. "Behold, how good and pleasant it is." How, behold, y'all know what behold means? And I need to tell you what it means. Hey, that's what it means. Hey, wake up, pay attention. I'm about to say something important. Hey, wake up. That's what it means. "Behold, how good and pleasant it is, how favorable it is, how wonderful, how amazing it is, when people are dwelling together in unity." Man, that's amazing. It's powerful. It is a remarkable truth that people need to understand. When, when unity is in the picture, when God sees unity, he does the spectacular. He does the, he does amazing things. When he looks and sees unity, it doesn't mean you have to agree on everything. It doesn't mean that you have to be uniform. It just means you have to all be headed in the same direction with the same goals, the same agenda. Unity flows. Well, listen, when we put aside our personal agendas and our personal desires and stop trying to get our own individual assessments in place, when we stop being selfish, when we stop being self-focused and put our attention on what's in the, what's in the benefit of the whole as opposed to the individual.
Musicians can be in one band, but they have to, they, they, they, they don't even have to play the same note, but they do have to be on the same key. They have to be in the same key. They have, they, uh, choir members can sing different notes, but they got to be on the same key. Amen. They, it's a good thing. It's pleasurable. It's agreeable. It's excellent. When God sees unity, he does the spectacular. When Jesus was being crucified, when he went into the garden to pray, John 17, jot it down, write it down. I don't, I'm not gonna read it, but just jot it down. John 17. While Jesus was praying in the garden, four times he prayed, "Lord, let them be one." "We are one." Four times he said that in his prayer. He asked God to let there be one.
In second Chronicles chapter five, read it when you get an opportunity because I know y'all go home and read every verse that I give y'all during the presentations. I know y'all go home, you can't wait. Some of y'all will sit out in your cars and read them rather than getting in traffic because you're so excited to read what the scriptures have to say that the pastor just gave you because you know it's the Word of Life. Yeah, I know y'all are just running and checking out. So, so in second Chronicles chapter five, Solomon had just finished building the Tabernacle. And when he finished building the Tabernacle, the, the, the musicians and the priests and the choir all got together on one accord, they got unified. And the Bible says that they were so unified that when the priest tried to preach, he couldn't preach because the glory of God filled the Tabernacle. Amen. Praise the Lord somebody in here. Amen. And filled the temple.
In Exodus chapter 36, a remarkable thing happened. Exodus 36, got it down. I'm not going to turn to it. Read it when you get in the car on your way home, when you get home, read it at some point. Exodus 36 tells us Moses wanted to build a tabernacle and he wanted to raise some money. And he, the children of Israel were so unified in Exodus 36 when they were about to build a tabernacle, that they raised so much money that Moses had to go to the people, say, "Don't bring no more money, we got more than we need." See, y'all are so shocked, y'all can't even believe that happened. Look at y'all. Y'all, I saw some of y'all, y'all heads start shaking like that, you didn't, you couldn't believe it. Yes, it's remarkable.
In Acts chapter two, the children of Israel, the disciples were gathered together in one place, on one accord, they were unified. And the Spirit of God descended like a dove and filled the temple, and they began to speak in in other tongues. God's glory filled the place. Something about unity that it is powerful. The principle of unity is amazing. Uh, uh, and I, I, the thing I'm just trying to get you to understand is, if you could just get your business unified, if you could just get your company, your friendships, your man, hold up, maybe just you and your spouse could get on the same page, God will open up doors and God will do the spectacular. As long as y'all divided, as long as you're headed in different directions, as long as you got separate bank accounts, as long as, oh, I felt something right there when I said that. I felt, I felt some shaking in me right there. That there are people here who are so separated, so independent, so disunified, unified, that you want to know how come you can't get the supernatural power of God rolling and strolling in your life? It's because you can't get on the same page. Go ahead, look at your life, look at your spouse and say, "We ought to get on the same page."
If we could just get on the same page, I'm trying to drive out a spirit of disunity. I'm trying to kill a spirit of disharmony. I'm trying to kill an attitude that makes everyone think that they have to be on their own. All right, let me just, I, I thought, I thought I could, I was trying my best. I thought that somehow I could create and put up an idea and a suggestion to people to get on the same page. As a matter of fact, when people are disunified, disharmony happens. In the Book of Joshua chapter six, Joshua chapter six, when the children of Israel were going to attack the, the city of Jericho, the problem with Jericho is that they had these humongous walls surrounding the city, and the gates were closed, and nobody came in and nobody went out. And the children of Israel didn't know how they were going to be able to get in and conquer the people and take over the city of Jericho. So God told Joshua, "Tell the people to march around the walls of Jericho one time each day for six days, and then on the seventh day, march around seven times. And after you've marched around seven times on the seventh day, tell the priest to blow the trumpet and tell the people to shout, and I'll give you the victory." And that's what they did. Six days they marched around on the same prayer. They marched around six times, one time each day for six days. Are y'all still with me? Have I lost you yet? They marched around, same in the same direction, all on the same accord. They marched around. When people got tired, they held each other up. When somebody got weary, they wanted to quit, they encouraged them, "Come on," or they picked them up and carried them. They were on the same page. They marched around six times, one time each day for six days. Then on the seventh day, they marched around seven times. And after they marched around seven times, the priest blew the trumpet, and the people shouted, and guess what happened? The walls of Jericho came tumbling down. God can do the spectacular when we get on the same page. He's looking around, trying to find unity. God's looking around, trying to find some place to shower His blessings. And that's, in fact, what he has done at the First Baptist Church of Glenarden. He has done the spectacular because we're on, we're unified.
But there was one problem with the children of Israel after they marched around the walls of Jericho. God told them, listen to this. God told them, "When you go in after the walls come down and you go in to conquer the city, kill everything. Don't keep anything." He said, "Take the gold and the silver and put it in the churches, in the Temple's treasury." I see y'all got quiet on that point right there. He said, "Put it in the, in the, in the treasury of the, of, of, of, of the Tabernacle. But all the people and all the, the animals and all the other stuff, destroy." But one guy named Achan, are y'all with me? Achan decided that he was going to hold on to a Gucci sweater that he found in the camp. It's true. It was a multi-colored garment, a Gucci sweater, and he took it and put it in his tent among his stuff. The children of Israel had to go to the next city to fight and conquer, to, to conquer. They got, they lost. The army went there and they got defeated. And Joshua said, "Lord, why would you let this little city of Ai, that was the name of the city, Ai, why would you let them defeat us?" God says, "Because there's some disharmony in the camp. There's some, there's some sin in the camp. And one Joker, look around, there's one Joker somewhere near you, one Joker decided to do what he did, and it caused them to lose." And they cast lots to determine who it was, and it fell on Achan. And Achan confessed and said, "I, I took the Gucci sweater, and it's under the, it's in my tent under my stuff, and it cost them the victory." But it also cost him and his family their life. What are you trying to say? I'm trying to say today that you, you got to have a mentality and a heart and a mind to be unified because God hates disharmony and disunity. He hates it. And let me say this, if you are a business owner and you have an employee or a partner who can't function in unity, terminate them or get out of the business. Oh, I felt tension in the room. I know y'all don't like this kind of preaching. All I'm trying to do is tell you what I've learned and what I've been practicing, and while I got favor on my life, you ain't got to like it. Do your own thing. I'll call you and see how you're doing. How's that treating you? I'm going to tell you, that's the principle of unity.
But what about the power of unity? What is it? He tells us right here in verse number one. It says, "Behold, how good and pleasant it is, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity." And then it says this in verse two and three. It says this, "It is like." First three words, "It is like." He's about to compare with you what unity is like. And he compares it to a few things. Can I tell you what they are? Thank you for asking me. Let me tell you. He said, "It is like the precious oil upon the head." Stick a pin right there. Stop for just a second. Can I tell you what that's about? That's about the anointing. When he says, "It's, it's like the precious oil upon the head, running down on the beard, the beard of Aaron." Let me explain, let me explain, let me explain to y'all what that is like. The precious oil, precious oil represents anointing. It represents the favor of God. It represents God opening up doors that no man can close. It's, it's when God pours His favor upon your life. That's what the precious oil is. That's what it represents. Or represents the presence and power of Almighty God. He says, when you've got unity operating in the midst of your life and your organization and your business or your family, it is like the oil that is getting poured down on the head. Now, let me talk about the head for a second. Somebody say, "Talk about the head." It's important who your head is. It's important whose authority you are under. Some of y'all are in trouble because you ain't got no head. You're walking around like a monster, ain't got no head. Can't nobody see you. You ain't got no pastor. You ain't got no leader. You ain't got no head, and it's a problem. It's a problem. We ain't got no head. It's a problem. He said, "It's like." Why is the head important? Because the anointing starts at the head. It flows down. As a matter of fact, I'm gonna get this in just a moment. It flows down on the beard, it flows down on the garment, and it goes to the out, it goes to the lower parts of the garment. Somebody in First Baptist Church of Glenarden, we call that drip, drip. Y'all ain't hear what I'm saying? It's dripping all over. It's the anointing is dripping, and it starts from the head. It starts from what God does in the head. My life's prayer for you is that the same favor that God has put in my life, He'll put it in your life. The same thing that's on this church, He'll put it in your family, put it on your business. Somebody say, "Drip, drip." I know I got some people here today who can testify to the fact that since they came under the umbrella and the authority of First Baptist, their life has not been the same. They've had favor all over the place, miracles all over the place, breakthroughs all over the place. God blessed your finances, He blessed your family, He blessed your career, He blessed your job. Drip, drip. Somebody high-five your neighbor, say, "Drip, drip." I don't know where you are, but I want God's anointing. I want God's favor. I want God's miracles. I want God to open up doors that only He can open up. I want Him to do what man cannot do for me. I want God to do for me what only God can do. Somebody say, "Drip, drip." Look at your neighbor, say, "Drip, drip." It's dripping. It's dripping. It's, it's smeared all over the place. It's falling down. Some of y'all will never get to drip, drip because you're too arrogant. You're too self-centered. You're too proud of who you are that you can't get under the umbrella of somebody else's authority. All I'm trying to tell you is that God's ways, God works in ways that's not like your way. Somebody tell your neighbor, "I need God's anointing." "I want God's anointing." Tell your neighbor, "I want God's anointing." I lived my life without His anointing long enough. I, I want His favor. I want His miracle-working power. I want His breakthroughs. I want His answers to my prayer.
The priest got anointed. They poured the oil on his head, and it flowed down through his beard, and then it got on his garments, and it went to the lower parts of his garments. On the priest's garments, he had an ephod, a breastplate, and a robe. And when it got down to the edges of his garments, what is unique about the garment is that at the edge of the garment were names of the tribes, the 12 tribes. Somebody got it. Somebody understand. Anybody here recognize, your name is on the edge of that garment. Your needs are on the edge of that garment. Your healing is on the edge of that garment. Your breakthrough is on the edge of the garment. You know what I'm excited that no weapon formed against you can prosper because you've got some oil on the edge of your garments. Then I got excited, but I got confused. I got excited that it ran down on the beard and the garment, but then it said it ran down on the edge of Aaron's garments and on Aaron's beard. Now, that troubled me. It troubled me because Aaron, Aaron's brother, Moses' brother, I'm sorry, Aaron, Moses' brother, is the one. Do y'all remember when, uh, Moses went up into the mountain to get the Ten Commandments? Y'all, y'all, I mean, y'all, y'all saw them. I mean, y'all, uh, I was gonna say y'all saw the movie, but I know y'all read the scriptures. And he was gone for such a long time that they, they got frustrated. He had been gone for all that time, and so Aaron is the one who gathered the people together and said, "Bring your gold. We're going to melt your gold and we're going to build a golden image." Y'all remember that? He said, uh, uh, it was Aaron who led the children of Israel to build the golden calf and to bow down and worship it. When Moses came down out of the mountain, they were dancing around this golden calf and worshiping it. Why would God use Aaron? This is the Joker who led them to false worship. I got troubled. But here's what God told me, that He's a God that gave Aaron another chance. All right. I don't think I got any amens up in this camp. Anybody here needed another chance from the God that we serve? I believe there's some people here today who can testify, "I messed up. I went down the wrong road. I made bad choices. I made bad decisions." But oh, thank God, He gave me another chance. Somebody ought to high-five your neighbor and say, "I thank God for another chance." "I thank God He gave me another opportunity." And though my sins were white, they were scarlet, He made them whiter than snow. Even though I messed up, even though I had an abortion, even though I got pregnant and I wasn't married, even though I was high on drugs, even though I was a thief and a robber, even though I lived the wrong kind of life, thank God He gave me another chance. I don't know who I'm preaching to, but it doesn't matter what you did in your past. You can be an Aaron. You can get another chance. God can pour some oil on you. It doesn't matter what you did. He will forgive you.
It was running down Aaron's beard. It was running, y'all missed a great spot. It's quickly, rapidly chasing after you. That's what I love about God. He'll cause His favor to chase you down. It's running down the beard of Aaron, running down on the edge of His garment. And then He says this, I'm almost finished. Somebody say, "Go on, Pastor." I'm doing the best that I can. That's how powerful. Somebody say, "That's how powerful." Unity is. He says this, "I like it. It is like the Dew of Hermon descending upon the mountains of Zion." I like that. It's like the Dew of Hermon. I'm glad y'all asked me. Y'all know what dew is? Dew is the result of moisture going through the evaporation condensation process and becoming a liquid. It starts off as moisture, goes through the condensation process, and ends up as liquid. So you wake up in the morning, you go out and look on your grass, there's some dew out there. Oh, I forgot to say this at nine. Let me go ahead and throw it in at eleven. I learned as a pilot that when I'm getting up in the morning, I want to fly somewhere, I gotta check out and find out what the dew point is and the temperature because here's what it tells me. If the dew point and the temperature are less than five points degrees separate, if it's less than five, you're gonna have some fog. Okay, I see I got to explain everything to y'all. There ain't nothing like the fog of God, of God's presence in your life. If the degree of separation is so minor that God could put some fog in your life, it means it's so thick out there, it means it's so wonderful. The anointing and favor of God is so thick out there that no weapon formed against you can trust. Oh, as a matter of fact, it says, now look, here's what it says. It says the, the Dew of Hermon. What is it? Why Hermon? Why didn't he just say the dew, the mountain? He could have just said that, but he said the Dew of Hermon descends upon the mountains of Zion. There's some significance there. Here's what it means. It means the Dew of Hermon, Hermon is a, a hill, is located high in Palestine. It's a high place. Zion is a low place, and they are a hundred miles apart. Yahoo! Lord have mercy. You know what God is saying? Even though you may be far apart, what's coming is coming from a high place. It's gonna find you no matter how low of a place you're in. Y'all ain't got it. I'm trying to help somebody understand that God's gonna reach up at the highest mountain and bring His presence and His power into the lowest places of your life. It doesn't matter how low it is, how far away it is, the presence of God is going to come. Okay. All right. Y'all ain't got it. Somebody high-five your neighbor and say, "It doesn't matter how high and how far away it might be, God's favor is coming." Tell them, "God's favor." When we get unified, when we get on the same place, it'll make its way, no matter how far away I've been, it's going to make its way. It's going to make its way to where I am. Do y'all give me? Do y'all understand what I'm saying to you today? All right, let me, let me hurry up. I'm, I'm just, I'm excited. I, I don't know, I got excited. I shouted when I read it. I, I celebrated that God has brought some, oh, dew. What's coming from a high place. Zion is a low, dry place. Some of y'all are in some dry, lowly places. You're lonely, you're empty, you're sad, you're depressed. But God's gonna bring some dew. I, I want somebody to look at your neighbor and say, "The point of them is, say, 'You are due for some dew.'" Go ahead. It's about time for some favor to come into your life. It's about time for some miracles to step into the domain of your life. It's time for God to open up some doors. Your doors have been closed for too long. It's about time for God to do the spectacular. You are due for something. I'm trying to smear some dew on y'all this morning. Try to get you excited about the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. I'm trying to tell y'all, get unified. Get in the place of unity. Listen, if you can't find some unity anywhere else, find it right here in this camp and connect with this camp and watch God do the spectacular in your life.
All right, let me close. It says in verse three, "It is like the Dew of Hermon descending upon the mountains of Zion." Then it says, "For there the Lord commanded the blessing." Now, some, some commentaries say that there is Hermon and Mount Zion, but I don't, I've never been to Hermon. And if I have to go to Hermon on the other side of the world to give favor, I'm in trouble. If I had to get to Zion, I'm in bad shape. I don't think there means Hermon or Zion. I think "for there" is the place of unity. There, where Unity exists. All right, y'all missed it. All right, can, can I, should have said this earlier, but I forgot. I had, you know, they think they're so powerful about the scriptures that it can keep on revealing stuff to you. And I thought about what I'm going to tell you after the nine o'clock service. I said, "I'm gonna tell the eleven o'clock, eleven thirty crowd." But I forgot to tell y'all. Thank you.
Y'all do, y'all remember the Tower of Babel? Y'all all know that the Tower of Babel, uh, happened because the true, the people got together and got unified, and they were going to build a tower to the heavens. And God said, "Oh, I can't hear that." So He had to confuse them. So they all started speaking different languages. Unity is so powerful that they were about to do something that God didn't want them to do. So He had to come in and confuse their language so they could do what they wanted to do, which is what God didn't want them to do. That's how powerful unity is. For there, where unity exists, God commands a blessing. There is the place of unity. That's where there is there. That's your marriage. There, that's your home. There, that's your business. There, that's your church. There, that's your ministry, your organization, whatever it is you're involved in. There, God, and I like this, commands a blessing. And when, notice it didn't say God suggests a blessing. It doesn't say God implies a blessing. It says God commands a blessing. And when God commands a blessing, can't no devil in hell stop that. Devil should have killed me before I got unified. He should have took me out before I got unified. But I'm unified now, and can't no devil in hell stop me because God commands a blessing. And what does He command? Life forevermore. Abundant life. Miracle life. Life, the ability to live life, the ability to be victorious life, life, the ability to win life. Somebody say, "Life." Abundant life. Jesus said, "I come that you might have life, and have it more abundant."
No, look at the people. Celebrate me. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. Y'all not getting this?
Let me, let me, uh, uh, talk about this Joker right here. This man bought some flowers for my wife. I said, "What the..." I don't know. I don't know what's wrong with him. Oh, they're beautiful. No, they're not. They're not beautiful. What I give to you better get out of here. Oh, you bought that for me? I just forgave you for all that you did. Thank you. I was about to say that there's no unity here because he broke it. Thank you all for standing up and encouraging me amidst these other Jokers that didn't try to do anything. Thank you. I appreciate it. Thank you. Yeah, I was going to kill you earlier, but it's okay.
I want to show you a video that illustrates for a few seconds, for two minutes. It's a two-minute video, and it's going to illustrate the power of unity. It's, it's a, it's a video of some buffaloes. Now, it's a couple things I need to tell you. One of the buffaloes gets disconnected from the unified group, and something happens to him or her or whatever it is. It's a buffalo. And I want you to see what happens, okay? Are y'all with me? Okay, let's go to the videotape. He gets attacked by some lions. And they ended up tracking down that baby one. Y'all see the baby one right there? Now, in the water is also a crocodile. When you get disconnected from the body of Christ, you are putting yourself in a position to be exposed to demonic forces. And those lions and that, and that crocodile are fighting for that baby buffalo. But the pack of buffaloes decided. Now, they don't quite know their power. They don't know how awesome they are unified. As individuals, they can't. They can't do it. Some of y'all are trying to win by yourself, outside of the church, away from the kingdom, away from the body of Christ. You can't win on your own. God didn't design it that way. You win when you get together with the rest of the body of Christ, and you can be more than conquerors when you get connected to the rest of the body of Christ. When you get connected with the body, you can win. They rescued a baby. Y'all see? They got them. They got the baby out of there. And now, and then you're gonna see this. This is gonna happen in just about a minute's time. You want to see the circumstances shift, and now the lions are on the run, and now the lions are being ran away. Are y'all hearing what I'm saying to you today? Do you hear what I'm saying to you today? No weapon formed against you can prosper when you are unified. When we're on the same thing. Look at the lions running now. Look at the lions running. All I'm trying to tell you is, get into a place of unity. Unity. Unity.
I'm, I'm finished. It's my first close right here. God's desire is to anoint you. Go sit down. Don't sit down. My umbrella is about to sit down. I need to kick y'all out of here. I forgot what I was about to say. Some of y'all are disconnected. You're not a part of the body. You're operating on your own, in your own agenda, in your own mindset. You're not unified. Some of y'all come here, but you ain't doing nothing. You're off, way off someplace else. You don't join no ministry and serve it in no capacity. We can only be the church that we are when everybody does their part. Right now, I'm going to make an appeal today. Number one, if you're not saved, you need forgiveness of sins. Jesus will offer that to you. Didn't matter what you did, He can make you an Aaron. No matter what you've done in your past, He can use you. He will forgive you. It doesn't matter how low you have fallen, how ugly your sin, He will forgive you. Make your way down here, say, "You know what? I want forgiveness of my sins." Come on and say yes to Jesus right now, while the blood is running warm in your veins, while you have life. Or maybe you're backslidden and you want to rededicate yourself to the Lord. Now, right now, this instant. Don't be ashamed. Would be the time to come. We're going to shout and give God the glory the moment you step out and come. Or maybe you're unsure of your eternal destiny. You have doubts and you want assurance. Come right now. Or maybe you're already saved and you want to join the First Baptist Church of Glenarden. Right now would be the time to come. Right this instant, right this moment. Don't put it off.
Father, in Jesus' name, I thank you for each one of these that have come today and responded to your word. I prayed about the power of your might. You forgive them, cleanse them, plant them, fill them with your Spirit. In the name of the Lord Jesus, have your way, Almighty God, in their lives. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen and amen.
