Hello, I am Oricov from Nigeria. I am a vocational education pedagogist and a fashion designer.
I have my first degree from the University of Bean where I studied vocational and technical education and my master's in educational management. I have over two decades of learning experience. I have taught all kinds of learners ranging from refugees, returnees, widows, and non-traditional learners.
But one thing I can tell you is that every learner is the same. They all have different retention power. That is where learning science comes into play. People of the millennia era learn through takes-based content. Why people of the JSZ era learn through computer-based content.
In this Smart Ed program, I want to use my social media platform, Soul Trotters, where I teach pattern drafting and all kinds of fashion-based content through article learning. I found out that the recent generation learns by doing more than reading. So I want to use my social media platform, Soul Trotters, with over 2,000 subscribers to reach the general public and also the world at large to see how people can learn free of charge and also where they can break down complex structures like garment construction and wedding suits into smaller, learnable contexts. They can do this every day to create whatever desire they have in the fashion industry.
This is my application to the University of Kazoo Smart Ed program. This program will help me enhance my teaching skills to meet the ever-growing needs of this new generation. I look forward to your response. Don't forget, I am from Nigeria.
