I've given my body to every person, to every drug, to alcohol. I've sacrificed my body in all these different places.
And God says, "Hey, if you could give me the sacrifice of your praise and give me a sacrifice of your body as well. I'm trying to paint the whole picture to you for you to understand by the end of this that we're called to give God everything.
And God's so good that he's not asking for it just because he wants to be selfish and greedy. He's asking for it because he has better plans for your life than you do with what you're doing with your body right now. He's like, "If you give it to me, I'll bless it. If you give it to me, I'll grow it. If you get if you give it to me, I'll give you peace. I give you the joy and the love that you've been looking for that every time you got high, you just try to escape your own thoughts and your own feelings so that you can get into a place where you feel peace.
And God's like, if you give me all of you, I can give you all of that. You won't have to get high to get it. You won't have to be with another woman to get it. You won't have to be with another man to get it.
