[Applause] you're welcome, yes. So this is Tina Hoover and this is Jeff Hoover, and then we have Delane that's going to be doing some teaching, and we're probably even gonna throw Ezekiel into it, and a few, it' be a few other people. Yeah, yeah. So we want to encourage you every day, and, and this is not just, even though we're only meeting one night, this is not just a one-day show. We want to help you, um, gain momentum over the next 12 weeks, that you're not just living a life but you're experiencing a life with God, and you're representing who you say you represent. And I really believe that he's going to transform people's minds, and you're going to see amazing things happen in your lives. You know, anon's already got things going on. You want to share with this one too? And then so we want to encourage you to do, um, to step out of your comfort zone, and we'll talk about this a little more. We want to, want you to step out, and especially when we teach you, um, words of knowledge in the prophetic, and as you feel like God is highlighting somebody to talk to them, and it can be an epic fail. That's okay. We're just practicing, learning, learn how to hear God's voice. And so we just want you to write it down, and we'll hand them in each week. We'll get you some more testimony sheets. But we want to encourage you that is one of the things that changed my life, is when I went to Global School Supernatural Ministry, I had to give five to seven of them a week, every week for two years, and it changed my life because it created and cultivated an atmosphere in my life that I would was always looking for someone to pray for, and I always made sure that I did it with love, and I didn't do it just out of obligation. You know, some days it might have seemed like obligation. Holy Spirit, we thank you. He's definitely here tonight. Come [Music] on. There's such a Sweetness in the air. Yes, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus. All right, we just gonna go ahead and get started. Did you want to come up first and join me? Sure. I'll tag with you. You got your, you got him on M? Okay, got him, got him. So, got a question for you. What does it mean to be a believer? Believe that, um, Jesus died third day? Yeah. Believe me that you believe that anything is possible through God. Okay. There's nothing that he can't do for you if you believe in your heart, right? I can do. Yeah, go ahead. Anybody else? That you have a personal relationship with Christ, that you follow him. Come on, sweet. Anybody else? I'm dead now. I'm alive. All right, come on. That is awesome. So to be a believer, um, the scripture says that signs and wonders will follow those who believe, and, uh, you know, Jesus he talks about in John 14, if you love me, you obey my Commandments. And a lot of times we don't understand what it means to believe. You know, I'm, I'm not knocking church, but we as the church have done a poor representation of what it looks like to represent Jesus. Jesus, and I pray that these next 12 weeks we destroy that box, and we help you to understand what it's going to look like to really represent who he is. Because like, if I, if I'm waiting to, um, to go to heaven, is, is Jesus actually my Sal, my salvation, or is heaven my salvation? Because we get to live with Jesus here today. We, he lives in us. The hope of all glory lives in us. And so in that, we get to be seated in Heavenly places. We're seated with Christ. In John 17 it says that we become one with Jesus as he's one with the father. And so we're not really taught that. We're not taught where do, how do we walk in the authority? Where do we get the power? So Jesus is the authority, but what does he say in the Bible about the power? D where does it come from? Holy Spirit. Yeah, yeah. And he tells the disciples in, I think it's in John 14, he says that the father is going to send a comforter, and he says he is with you but will come and live in you, and it's Jesus, but he's the power. And so so many people live their lives out there with no power. They have Jesus, but I feel like it's like God show me one day. Um, I was at a large Church. Won't tell you what the nomination I thought it was, and I'm like, I have to because it's part of the story again. I'm like, this is a Baptist Church, like I don't know. I'm like, it smells like one, it feels like one. I felt claustrophobic because I was in one for 18 years, and they didn't teach me anything that really helped me get healed. That's right, you know. And what God showed me was in that particular church. I'm not knocking the denomination, but in that particular church I saw people, people that were coming off the streets, out of drugs and alcohol, homeless people coming off the streets, they were doing amazing things. But God showed me that they were replacing the drug and alcohol addiction with serving, and the people were chained to the pews. And I'm like, what? Like I, I, that broke me. How many times are we really changing the addiction to something else, and the church is loving it because they're serving, and they're seeing the church grow and grow and grow, but the people have no freedom, and it's like, wow, that ain't right.
So some of us have been in a courtroom before. So let me ask you if you, so let me ask you if, if you were, if there was a court case against you, would you be found guilty of being a believer of Christ? On yes, yes. Would you be found guilty? Is there enough evidence in your life for the gab to come down and they would say guilty of being a Believer? Is there enough evidence in your life that they can see that Jesus is in you, that you leak Jesus, that everywhere you go that there's love, there's joy, there's peace, there's balance, that you bring things together instead of splitting them apart sometimes, because Jesus did come to, to, to rip up some things too. I was in Africa a couple years ago, and where I was at, we were in the deep deep Bush of Malawi. We were down close to mosm Beek, really close to where Isis is. So if that gives you a little bit of a understanding of where we were, it was Muslim culture, nothing but Muslim. We're in a deep Bush about two hours from where we were staying, and we were in the Deep bush with where we were [Laughter] staying. And um, so we, we would take in this Jesus movie. How many have watched the passion? You ever watch the passion? If, if y'all have it, maybe we'll have to do that one night. We have have a big movie, movie night. Yeah, that would be cool. So we're watching this movie that's very similar to the passion. It's in their language, and it's the first movie they've ever seen, and we're the first white people they ever saw. That was interesting too. The little babies like cry when they're like, it's okay, I'm not an alien, and then he tease them and tell them that we're aliens, like they call us mugas. And so anyway, um, it was my night to preach, and we don't like to preach. Like we want these people to see. So if you have that movie of Jesus, I said, will you play that movie until Jesus starts healing people, and then you could stop it at that moment, and then we're going to tell those people that that Jesus that you just saw healing people lives in us, and we want him to live in you if you choose to until. So we call out words of knowledge because we don't know these people. You have about three or 500 people, um, and they came for a movie. I mean, they're like, movie? What's that? You got a captive audience. And so they're coming to watch this movie, and, and it is a good movie. Like I mean, you, you see someone do crazy things that no one else have ever seen. See people get healed, you know, um, see dead raised, and, and so it, it was definitely captivating. And so in the midst of it, they stopped it, and I got some words of knowledge, and we saw a bunch of people get healed. Muslims know that Muhammad can't do that, and so instantly you got their attention. And so they have this, this Jesus on the screen. They never seen the movie before. Now they know that you have this Jesus inside of you, and they want it. So this one lady had a white headdress, and I don't know understand the differences in the colors, but all the rest of them were dark colors. So I don't know if she was like an iman's wife or a daughter or someone who is, um, pure. I don't understand what the colors meant, but anyway she stood out. It was full moon or fairly, um, you know, her headdress stood out amongst everyone else's, and I remember her. And as we're asking people if they wanted to accept Jesus, she's like looking around. So she got to understand this culture is, if they accept Jesus, they could be murdered. And the little Iman dude was running around all day. We saw him. We gave him big cheese, cheese sticks, you know. We prayed everyone praying that maybe God would touch his life too. We loved on him, you know. But these people know that if I change my religion, this may be my last day to live. And so she's like, I don't, and you can see her looking, and she's looking around because she stands out. All the rest of them can hide and say, I know one me. And, and we, we pray for the baptism Holy Spirit, and we try to touch as many people as we can. But the pastor gets up on the stage, and he's praying something, and he's having everyone comes flocking to the stage. And I'm like, what did he say? He better not have made, made them fearful, you know. 'CU I like that brim and hail and whatever you call it. I don't even know how to say. I don't like when people come because of fear, because God is love. Because if they come because of fear, then they got to stay because of fear. And so they all came to the stage. They raised their hands, and you know, God, God showed up. And I said, what did you do? What did you say? And he said, I only told them that if you deny Jesus in front of your friends, that he would deny you in front of the father. I'm like, my heart got hit, you know. I'm like, wait a minute. Where do I deny Jesus? You know, and, and I want you to take that question back. Where do we deny Jesus? Peter denied him three times, you know. And Jesus said, Peter, you're going to deny me three times before the rooster CRS. And he's like, oh no, no, no, no, not possible. The reason why was because Jesus, the rock that Peter was standing on, was going to the cross, and Peter that was standing before Jesus was nothing but the foul mouth fisherman, and he had, he had nothing to stand on, just himself. And, and Jesus knew that he didn't have enough character, he didn't have the Holy Spirit more than anything to be able to sustain standing firm in who he was. So he knew that his flesh would deny him. So in John 20, Jesus breathed on the disciples, and it starts to change Peter's life. And this is why when Peter is standing on that boat in John 21, they went back to what they knew. So Jesus leaves, they were breathed on, he said, receive the Holy Spirit. I like, what do you do? A lot of us, what do you do? You know, do I go into Ministry? Do I go back to work tomorrow? We don't know what to do. And it's okay, because Jesus met them on the shore. He met them in that moment and said, hey, y'all can you like fish on the other side? Like I taught you to fish on the other side. Didn't get it right yet. So can you fish on the other side? And all the fish, they get all the fish. You know, Peter realizes this is his second chance, and he, he puts on his outer garment. I don't believe he was a fisherman that was fishing naked. That'd be weird. 11 seven other men. Y'all wouldn't go fishing naked. I wouldn't. She all laughing. So that, that outer garment that he puts on, it's the same Greek root word of wedding garment in Matthew 22 in The Wedding Banquet. The one person who doesn't have one, their wedding garments gets thrown out into the darkness, into the nashing of teeth. That's not a good day. And they got all the good and bad people. When I kept wondering who was good and who wasn't, who was not good or bad or whatever, who was that one person? And I, I went after it for two years with God, and he showed me one day. And, and so I, I, I looked it up and I saw that it was the same Greek root word of outer garment. It means to sink in. So Peter puts on Christ. He sinks into Christ. He leaps into the water, and he carries that net that those guys can't pull into that boat. He carries that net by himself. He doesn't tear in that. He doesn't lose not one fish. So he has a supernatural strength and a Fai that the rest of them don't have yet. That, that Holy Spirit that was in him started to manifest and come alive, and he's the one that God starts to use throughout the Bible. Next.
All right, so how many of you guys here like the grill? Does any like to grill meat? You do? You do? Can you come up here, Anthony? All right, Anthony, what do you like to put on your meat on the grill? Yeah, yeah. You season it for it's anything? I just put meat on there, put cheese on it. You mean cheese? Oh, really? All right, I just like to eat cook. You just like the flavor of the meat with the cheese? Yeah, that come on. All right, Jeff, what do you like to put on your... ask somebody else. What do you put on your meat? Anybody else? What do you like to put on your meat? Salt, salt and pepper. What do you like? Meat magic. Meat magic? That sounds like something. What else? Garlic. Oh yes, yes, that's awesome. I said, I don't know what that is, but it say it probably sounds good. It is, it is salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder all mixed in water. Oh funny. And the funny part is my wife's name Jane. I think we'll come to his house the next time and have some grilling going on. Jane, if I say crazy Jane, I get oh okay. Well, suppose you just put your meat on there without any seasonings on it. Does it taste the same? No. Kind of, it tastes okay, but you know, the salt, pepper, seasoning, cheese, whatever you put on it, it gives it flavor. So we know, you know, how what Jesus says about Flavor. Says in Matthew 5, it says you are the salt of the earth. But as salt becomes Bland and loses its flavor, its saltiness can make anything be? Can anything be salty again? No. It is useless, is tossed out, thrown away away, and trampled underfoot. So you just, you know, it's not any good if you don't have no flavor. That's kind of like what it is in our lives when we don't have enough, you know, Jesus in our life. Our lives can be in the Holy Spirit. Our Lives can become Bland. It lacks any seasoning. So you, you know, seasoning, flavor, even the smell, it might, might even smell different, it might even have a different texture to it. Just you know, we just need in our lives just to have more flavor. You know, we don't want to be like, you know, job's wife who just turned into a pillar of salt and she was useless and, you know, trampled to the ground. We don't want to be useless. We want to be useful. We need to bring the power of the holy spirit in our lives so we can be to and bring people in and bring them in, entice them to want to know the Jesus that we love, the Jesus that we know. So we can draw them in. When we have the Holy Spirit upon us, we can also, you know, it's like spice. The world want sees as Christians, they want to see us, and you know, the world sees us Christians in actions. It's kind of like the spice, the salt and the seasoning in our lives. There's no action or power that, you know, Gospel of Jesus will become Bland. You know, there's so many churches out there that just don't have, um, they're just no flavor. That you go into service, you sit there, you listen to sermon, and you walk back out the door again. I'm like, I don't feel like I came empowered by being sitting there. What we know, we need to be a powerful church. We need to have the Holy Spirit power upon us so we can draw people in, pull them in, you know, changed their lives. We can, you know, as we, you know, the class is here, and then also you over at able, you know, you'd learn how to pray for each other. You learn how to pray that someone can gets healed. We learn how to speak life in the people. We learn, we'll learn here in another class, we'll learn a little bit more about prophecy. We'll learn how to prophesy. You might not have done it before, but you start hearing God's voice, and you can hear God's voice for other people. So there's just ways to just, uh, encourage other people, just to draw them in. Because if you give a word for somebody, like the other day I got a word for somebody, and I just heard, uh, she's going to go in the medical field. I heard obstetrics. I'm like, obstetrics? I was afraid to almost say the word. I said, you, I feel like there's like a change, a career path coming your way, and you're going in the medical field. Before I had a chance to say obstetrics, which is, you know what, you know, like deing dealing with like babies and women and stuff to just gave birth. She's like, yeah, I'm going to be going to nursing school and I want to become a midwife. So I'm like, oh okay. So there's just people you can minister to, and I got the chance to pray for her as she was going to be starting nursing school not this fall but in the spring of the year. But you know, just pray over her and just to encourage her. Yeah, she's going in the right direction. And, and it encouraged me too, because I heard God's voice, and I'm like, oh yeah, aetric I've just popped in my head. And like, sometimes the weird words that come in your head is can encourage somebody else. Just like you know, we need to attract people into, into our churches, into our lives. You know, like how many you got people you going to attract if you had, had vinegar sitting out? You going to attract what, what you want to attract? No, you want to put the honey out, the word of God out there. You want to attract the goodness of God and the, the love and the joy and the peace that we have when we have the Holy Spirit upon us. We want to attract people and not propel them away with the smell of Honey, not honey smell of vinegar that just makes them want to go away. And this is, you know, these are all things that you can have, that's all tangible. As we, we'll pray over you guys later on, and I know probably some of you have already had, we prayed over you the Holy Spirit again, but we can always have more and more of him. It's always a good thing.
I'm G to start out here talked about with acts. You know, when did the Holy Spirit come upon the Earth? It's been there for a while, but you know, just like when Jesus came in Acts 1:8. He talks about Jesus, this is before Jesus ascended into heaven. He talked about the Holy Spirit powers be come upon us. Let me read the verse here. Acts 1:8. It says, you will receive the power when the Holy Spirit comes on you, and you will be my Witnesses here in Jerusalem and Judea, Samaria, and, and the furthest parts of the earth. So it's just saying that the Holy Spirit would come upon you, and he wants you to take that wherever you go. That's why he has all the places in different countries and different towns. He just wants you to take it wherever you go. Whether it be here in Phoenix City, or if God moves you to Pennsylvania where we came from, he Mak you can take up there and take, we'll send you up there. You can get that nice cold air climbing up there and warm the place up. It just fills us. You know, even in Acts two, when the Holy Spirit, you know, in the day of Pentecost, and the Holy Spirit fell, you know, it fell like tongues of fire upon their heads. It just felt this fire andness F and filling. The wind came in and just started blowing, and then they, they were stared able to speak in tongues. That's not the only manifestation of the Holy Spirit, but that's just one of them. They started speaking in tongues in all different languages, and they went out in the streets and they started preaching and to everybody, and people started hearing, um, the message of the Gospel in their own tongue. Imagine being in that place. If you were in another country, all of a sudden somebody start of speaking your language. I've been to some other countries before, and you hear somebody speaking English. You're like, I know that Lang anguage. Because everything you hear is a bunch of gibberish all around you, because I don't understand that gibberish of that country. But if you hear somebody speak English, you're like, oh, they know my language. What are they saying? Usually not talking to me, but you know, inquisitive even. Just you know, it says in Acts two how Peter started speaking with a boldness and a confidence when the Holy Spirit came upon them. You know, anytime we, the holy spirit comes upon you and you start talking, you get, get a hold to Trina here. She starts talking. The Holy Spirit comes upon her. She, I think she was preaching to us for almost two hours in the camper this afternoon. I'm like, Trina, I need to start preparing what I want to say. And she's like, we not keep quiet. She kept going on and on and on. I think I want to say this. I think I want to say that. She just kept going. All good. It's all good. But kept going on and on and on. Krina too much, too much. Save her for later. All right. Yeah, she was just getting warmed up. Um, should I continue on? I can, I can come up. You want me to doing PA yet? Or you want to go? We're good. I can come up. Or Jeff, you want to come? I think they want Jeff. Jeff, Jeff, Jeff, Jeff, Jeff, Jeff. Do it, Jeff. Come on, Jeff, you can do it. Take turns. Wow. You guys, I feel you don't hear my voice behind the microphone very much. Bobby did and the on you were down at Panama City, but come again. This you guys can get a chance to come down. Go for it. I mean, it's an awesome opportunity. We help teach you to go, you know. We'll be building off what we're learning here, but then we're going to be going out in enjoying the Sun, the sunny beaches, and just sharing the love of Christ wherever we go. And, and it's just awesome. You get to do it in the sand and the water. There not like here. Well, I guess the chattah huji, if that's good water to go into. It's like up in our area, we have the SAS Hanah, but several along. It starts up at New York and goes all the way down through Pennsylvania. Along the way there's like multiple, um, nuclear power plants. So you don't know what goes, what happens after all that water goes into from the nuclear power plants go into the, into the waters. But uh, anyway.
Um, how many of you guys in your life you just be walking along and all a sudden you just feel a tug that no, I need to go over here for a reason. You just don't know. But like you just have a desire to go to Walmart or something or Home Depot, but you just don't know why. Then once you get there, the Holy Spirit shows up. You know why. And uh, I had that experience the other day. You know, we get to the airport and where you know the plane was an hour and a half delayed. So we start walking down where the gate where we're supposed to go and find out we're at the wrong gate. They changed it on us. So along the way I seen this guy walking and he had a cross earring. And you know, I just walked up to him. Said, hey, what does that cross mean to you? He goes, well, everything. I said, what's everything? And uh, so he starts going into the story and he's just, you know, experimenting just looking at different religions and stuff. But he was wearing a cross. And just out of the blue I just started sharing the gospel to him. And that was, you know, even though the Holy Spirit had us going to, you know, we were walking along through the gate, but it changed our Direction. That's like with h Phillip. How many you guys know the story of Phillip? Yeah, most of it. You know, two story in Acts 8. There's two U episodes of him. But uh, and he was walking along and all a sudden the angel tell him, I need you to go this direction now down towards Gaza. Well, he had no clue. So he starts walking the, and he meets an Ethiopian in a chariot. So they start talking and everything, and they separate directions. And all of a sudden the Holy Spirit shows up again. Go and walk beside the Chariot. So he had to change directions twice. How much of an inconvenience would be? You're like, would that be to you? You, you, you're just following along and thing you know, you're changing directions again and again. But he was, he had so much love for the father that he was willing to change the directions. So we need to be tuned in to make sure that we are following the right directions. And with Phillip he had changed twice. That's really a huge inconvenience to change it twice. So he walks up beside the Chariot, and all of a sudden he hears the unit speaking, you know, reading from the book of Isaiah, and Philip just had this urge to ask him, do you understand what you're reading? NE goes, well, how can I unless somebody interprets it? Who is this guy? And Philip got the chance to, to give the gospel to the guy. You know, that's just, we have him in our heart and we just can't keep it in him. Like I was at the airport, it just came out. I knew, can I didn't realize I was sharing the gospel to him. It just came out. And with uh, with Philip it just came out of him, and he had so, the, the unit just fell in love, and Philip goes, do you want to be baptized? And the guy goes, yes, there's a pool over water over there. Can you baptize me there? So he got two rewards of, you know, just being obedient so far. He got to present the gospel, the, the love of Christ to the unic. Now he gets a baptizm the. How many of you guys been water baptized? Is it a life-changing experience? And what about the guy who got to give that to you, to put you under the water? He got to, I mean, he probably had so much joy, just as much joy on your face as you come out of the water as he did. It is an honor to be able to baptize somebody. So that was two, two of rewards that he got from, you know, being obedient by hearing the voice of God in the Holy Spirit. As soon as the, the unit came out, he got the ultimate reward of all. He got taken away to another country, another country. It was just, you know, something supernatural. Being obedient three times, he got three different Awards. And it's just being in tune, because you don't want to miss opportunities. You don't want to miss sharing, sharing the gospel with somebody. You don't want to miss opportunities of being able to baptize somebody. So just be in tune. I mean, sometimes it's difficult. Just like a brother came in here. I could tell the atmosphere was, you know, he was there was something different with him. But just be able to go over, just speak life into him. Allow the Holy Spirit to refill, refill. Be continuously refilled it. And when you feel down, if you see somebody feel down, just go over and talk to him, pray for him, ask him if he needs a refill. Refill the Holy Spirit upon them. Just be an opening ear to your brothers.
So our heart is, is we, we wanted to concentrate on the book of Acts because these are average people. They're not just the disciples. Some are, some aren't. And we wanted to share with you like where are different people encountered different. Like some encountered Jesus, some encountered the Holy Spirit, some encountered the angel of the Lord, some encountered people. And so we're going to share with you like, we want to build your faith to know that those people in the book of Acts are just like you. They're no different. Oh, it followed Jeff here. Follow Me Now. [Laughter] Does it follow me here? There it is. New toys. There it is. It's a, it's a new toy. We just got it at Walmart. It's probably came from China [Laughter] land. It's actually cool. Like it's supposed to move, but it, you, you have to hit the button. So there should be a remote somehow. Guess that's the upgrade. Like look at Peter. He was a fisherman. So for three and a half years he follows Jesus. Jesus sends him out, you know, and he sends him out with his name. There's power in the name of Jesus. But they weren't filled with the Holy Spirit. So I don't know how that all articulated, you know. But they saw demons submit to them in Jesus's name, and Jesus says, yes, I saw Satan fall like lightning from Heaven. I've given you all authority to trample on snakes and scorpions. He has given that to each one of us. You know, I'm not going to go out and go trample on no scorpion though. You know, I had was faced with one a year ago, and um, when you realize that you were this close to death because I was out in a refugee camp, there is no doctor this. And, and the crazy thing is that they didn't even know. Like they've never seen one of those black scorpions, the deadly black scorpion. They've never seen one in the refugee camp in the six or eight years of my friends have been there. Never. You know, it makes your brain blow up, you know. And I carried it on my clothes. Stuck it on my bed not knowing that it was on my clothes, and God revealed it as I laid it down on my bed. Thank God I saw it, because I'm the kind of person I hate bugs. And so um yeah, and go anal sometimes. But I will tuck the mosquito net in all the way around the bed so that mosquito stay out and anything other creators that like to crawl will stay out too, because they can't get in. And so I want to tuug that thing in even while I'm not in there. I want to make sure that nothing crawled in while I was away. So I'm smart. So I was about ready to tuck it all in, and he would been waiting in the dark for me. I would have known what, what hit me, you know. But I still go in missions field. I don't allow fear.
So Peter, you know, they, they come back and they've seen Satan fall like lightning. What if it's every time that we go out and we go and we see someone who's struggling with what we struggled with, get pulled out of the pit of Hell on Earth and get redeemed, that Satan fell like lightning from heaven in that moment? We give him power and authority. Adam was given all authority. Him and, and eve were given all authority on Earth. They lost the keys. They lost the power and authority, and he gave it to the enemy. Jesus was a man. He died. He was crucified. And when he was buried, he went down into the depths of hell, and he claimed back those keys. And when he rose, as you accept Christ, it's like he rose again that you're born again. And it says that when he C came out of the Grave, I did too. So I believe that in that moment, the enemy has no more hold on you unless you allow him to. Do you are a new person. Like sin is no more. It doesn't matter who you were. I don't care if you murdered somebody. I don't care what you did in your old life. You know, long Paul says you may have to pay consequences, but as far as God, there is no more consequence, because one sin is the same as all sin. And it is a, a slate completely wiped clean. And every time you ask him to forgive you, he forgets that moment. And he tells Cain in Genesis, I think it's three or four, he asks k, why are you angry? And he says, the enemy is laying at your foot. You have power over him. Though Cain didn't take the power. Maybe Cain didn't have the ability because his father already lost the keys. I don't know. We don't understand all that. But we have the power and authority when we're baptized in the Holy Spirit. And, and if you feel like you run dry, man, grab like five of these guys and, and get it and start praying. David Wilkerson, he says in his book, what is the difference between the one who overcomes and goes back into where he came from, and sees people accept Christ, and they even get shot and they get stabbed, and they and some die, but most of them all overcome, and these people come to know Christ, versus the ones that get sucked back into their old life and their lives are never changed and they become who they were? What is the one thing that made a difference? And he was searching, it's like, what is it? And Nikki, I forget what his last name is, what Cruz? He said it was when they were really, really baptized in the Holy Spirit, when they had trans transformation. Like I can't say it enough. Like my heart is like, you need it. We need the baptism of Holy Spirit. Do you think that no this is crazy? And I really, I am not against church. But what if this is the pointy of the enemy that he is okay with you being in a large Church who doesn't believe that the gifts are for today? You're in a large church that doesn't believe that you should speak in Tong because it's of the devil. You're in a large church and they don't practice the gifts. They pray for people, but they never believe that that you're going to get healed because that's for the apostles. You don't need it anymore because we have this, you know. That's what they say. That you don't need the gifts because you have this. This is just words until the Holy Spirit breathes on these pages and brings it alive. It is just words in a book. I Tried reading those words in a book for 18 years. Having dyslexia and having add issues and having reading comprehension, it didn't work for me. It was horrible. And especially when you tried to read job, that's a joke, because I was sick. I had major medical problems for 12 years, and I'm trying to read job. It's crazy.
So you have Peter. He has life changing moments when he puts on Jesus. He leaps into the water. He carries that net. I believe it was prophetic to what he was going to do the rest of his life. He wasn't going to lose not one person, and he wasn't going to tear the Nets that he was going to carry him in. And Jesus said, throw them in on the, on the fire. And he said, I have some already on the fire. Just send some more in on the fire. I believe it was the disciples that were already on the fire. And back then they didn't really clean up a fish. They just s them on the fire and let the fire clean off the drop all the garbage off the fish. Charco R them. I ate them with skin on and everything. I still do that every my life. We just saw pictures of our friend. I'm like, yeah, yeah, interesting. But I love in Acts three because Peter is the one that the god uses. In Acts two he sees the Holy Spirit fall, fall the tongues of Fire Fall. People speaking in tongues that, that other people recognize the language from their, their Village. This is crazy stuff. Can you imagine if that happened out here? They probably all haul us off to the Pokey, and probably all get little white jackets and, you know, hook us up to the fifth floor of the ssy war. I'm serious. They, they don't know what to do with when God shows up. They pray for Revival, but you know what's going to happen when Revival happens? There's going to be a lot of craziness, and people aren't going to understand when God moves. And are you guys ready for it? Because you're going to be leaders of it. Seriously, God is moving. And there's a lot of people that are sitting on the sidelines watching, and they say we want Revival. But every time Revival starts to show up in their Church, they shut it down. They can't recognize it because it's out of order, out of their order, but not out of God's order. So Peter this, I just love Peter's like, I think I can relate to him. I think I probably would have cut a couple people's ears off, you know. When Jesus would had SE back on, I spiritually probably did have to sew a bunch of ears back on. Yeah, probably had someone yesterday I cut a ear off. And, and so anyway, you have Peter and he walks up to the beautiful gate. So what if, what if this is you? What if this is you Jan, and you walk up to somebody you would have passed them probably thousands of times over 38 years. If you lived in that City, you would have passed them probably every day. And this person was just there looking for money, looking for arms. And how many people do we walk past because we recognize a, an old under identity of who they were? But Peter sees something different. And Peter looks at him and he says, gold and silver I have not. Look at me. Gold and silver I have not. But what I, I will give you. And he reaches down and he grabs him. I believe it was a transference of the Holy Spirit. They grabbed a hold of that man and straightened out his legs and created muscle where there was no muscle, created joints where there was no joints. Whatever he needed. And that man got up and walked. You can do that today. Yes, the Christ that lived in Peter lives in us. And the, the Holy Spirit can come alive. We saw breast cancer healed the other week. We actually have a friend who went for surgery for colon cancer what three weeks ago. And when we prayed for him, and when he went in, the doctors could not find the cancer. Come on. He's doing crazy things through all of us. And he can give us words of knowledge. He can give us an understanding: hey, I need to grab this person. Don't matter who they were. Doesn't matter if they were the decade drunk. Today is your day. And when you get a word of knowledge, like really seek out words of knowledge. A word of knowledge is a word from God that will not return void. And it's something that you know about somebody that you shouldn't know. And it a lot of times it's healing, but not all the time. So when Peter grabs him, this man's life has changed. And then they're standing in Solomon's colonade, which is also the Portico, Solomon's Portico. It's a place in the temple area that is significant. It's not mentioned very often. One other time that it's mentioned is when Jesus is standing there. And I love this. I wasn't going to get into this, but I feel like you need to hear this. Jesus is standing there one day, and the Jewish leader said, hey, how long are you going to hold us in suspense? When are you going to tell us that you're the Messiah? And he says, I have, but you don't hear me. But that day the crippled man is leaning on them healed. 38 years they couldn't walk. It's the first recorded Miracle of John and Peter. And the Jewish people, the leaders see that. I think they're so Furious because I Think Jesus is like, I'm back double for your trouble. You thought you killed me? I just multiplied. And he just multiplied every time another person comes into the kingdom of God. Jesus multiplies again and again and again. And what they did, you can do. And they're so Furious that they throw him in prison. Jesus told them, don't you dare practice what you're going to preach. See, I love getting this in me. And I pray that we teach you some tools of how to get it in you. And I believe that when the Holy Spirit inspires you to read certain things, it will come alive in you. Because when the stories are alive in you, you can tell anybody anywhere, and it doesn't even look like you're preaching to them. Inste say, just say the [Music] Lord thou art a prophetes. You know, I had some guy in the hood tell me that one day. That was hilarious. He was so high on crack, and he was prophesying and preaching like a Leviticus Pastor. He would have put the best Baptist pastors to shame. And a hot summer T Revival, they would have old bit on their face. That's how good this guy was. And I walked up to him, and, and there's a longer story someday I'll tell you. But I looked at him, and he actually his Spirit told me probably about 20 minutes earlier, don't you dare touch me or I'll kill you. I'm not going to touch you. I have wisdom. Anyway, now he's one the porch that I'm on. We just saw the Holy Spirit show up on this porch over in Columbus and bib City. And uh, I walked over to him because I'm like, okay, I could run and jump off the porch. He can't catch me, but if he has 9 mm, it will catch me. So that's not wisdom. So I walked over and I'm like, God, you, he's got to do something, you know. 'Cuz this guy told me he was going to kill me if I touched him, and he's blocking my way from getting off the porch. And so I said, hey, did you get a lad her back problem? And this guy, you can't make this stuff up. He look at me, he says, that ought to Pro. Where's the prophet? I, I don't know what you call me. I'm a daughter of the most high. I just know you have a back [Music] problem. That are the Propst. I want to say, you got a King James spirit. I didn't dare. I pray for his back. I touched him. I laid my hand on him, and I didn't die. It was awesome. And told him said, when tomorrow your friends could explain why you don't have any back problems after you come off your high of your crack. God loves that guy and didn't judge him. So anyway, you have Peter and John are standing before the Sanhedrin, and you probably can be the same as stand before the judge. Do you trust that when you stand before the judge now, when you're filled with baptism holy SP spirit, that God will give you the words to say? You don't have to practice. He's your Defender. Doesn't mean you don't have a good lawyer. Pray that they're holy spirit filled for sure. Anyway, they're standing there, and I love this. They see this boldness in these two guys, and they say that we know that.
They're uneducated, ordinary men, but they had been with Jesus. That is representing the kingdom of God. It wasn't because they spent three and a half years with Jesus. They knew somewhere after Jesus died, they spent time with Jesus. How did that happen? I think Jesus is in there, just mocking them, like, "I'm back. Can you see me over here? Look, I'm looking at you." Jesus makes fun of people too, especially these religious people. But you can have the boldness.
So that was a sign that they were filled with the baptism of the Holy Spirit because they knew they were uneducated men. They were ordinary people. They were fishermen. "How dare you have a gift to heal people? We can't even heal people." I better check them off. How many of you feel that God can use you today, just like Peter and John? Come on. What story do you want to get witness? I can keep going. You know that I know you can't keep going. You want one? Want a story? Do you have one? Well, actually, I wanted to add something. Go for it. Come beside me. Don't go too far away. Got to hear. Just take this. Oh, thank you. I just had the recorder. Okay, ready? Yeah. All right, lay hands on me. Make sure I'm okay. Fire me if it's really bad. Okay, so when you were talking about that, I kind of always look at it from the person that is getting it, getting healed. Yeah. And so when you were talking about Peter and how he was saying he didn't have anything to give, but yet he gave out of love, right? Well, he, the guy was looking for money though. So he didn't. But Peter gave out of love. Yeah, to the guy. And the guy was looking for something else. But as he got it, can you imagine the revelation of the Lord that he received when he got it and how it changed his life forever? Because there was such a demonstration of God's love and God's mercy. That's what I was looking at. Because one day I was that person standing on the corner, and a lady came walking up to me, and she had no idea that I was trying to make a decision that very second whether or not I was going to go and continue to be a drug addict for the rest of my life, or if I was going to go and follow Jesus. She had no idea. And she walked up to me that day. That's what it felt like when you were talking about that story. Is God used her as Peter in my life? How many times has God walked up in your life and has he sent a Peter to you? That's what I was thinking about. Is that if that lady had not been there that very second in my life, where would I be at today? Yeah. Because there might not have been another person to come along. And she said, said these very words to me. She said, "I knew there, there was something going on." I'm sitting there crying at the at the um bus stop, and I didn't even have a dollar to get on the bus stop that day. And you didn't have a dollar to run? No, no. I had no money whatsoever. Um, this guy that I was dating dropped me off at that drug recap and told me I needed some help. And um, I did not think that. But um, anyway, when I was set at that bus stop, your Peter may look different than the one we're talking about in the Bible. But I believe that day if she had not stopped and told me about the goodness of Jesus, she said, "I don't know you, but I've been where you're at." And she said, "God's restored my kids back to me." She had no idea that I had lost both of my children. She told me that God had helped her to get sober. And at that time, I didn't know what that even looked like. Um, she, God, it gave her her family back. And at that time, none of my family was talking to me. And she said, um, "I don't know what you're going through right now, but let me just tell you what God has done for me." And do you know she never even prayed for me? All she did was give me the word of Jesus Christ, and it changed my life. But she told you her testimony, which means do it again, God, do it again. Yeah. Thank you. Come on, Jesus.
So, so after John and get out of prison, they have another encounter. Like, like we can have an encounter every day, every place you go. Like we, oh, turn it off. I know. Well, it's China. Need to say anymore. Okay, that's why we got three cameras. Maybe I'll catch it on one of the other ones. So after Peter and John get out of prison, so what would you do when you got out of prison? Would you go to a prayer meeting? They went to a prayer meeting. And so they saw the enemy already confronting them. They already were witnessing persecution. And they knew that they knew that they needed more boldness to be able to stand where they needed to stand. And so there, can you imagine if you guys are in your house, you know, with all of you guys get together and you just pray for God to pour out boldness? Come on. You guys can do this. Like, man, I, I challenge you. God, show up. That's what it's going to take. Do you know one of the greatest revivals started from a young man who wasn't even a leader? And he, he gets an opportunity to pray and he asks God, "Do I have clean hands and a pure heart?" And the Holy Spirit drops. It's one of the greatest revivals ever. It's a herdes revival. I think it was the very first one. It would hit over there. So I love this in Acts 4:31. As they were praying for God to enable them to speak God's word with great boldness, the meeting was shaken, and they were filled with the Holy Spirit, speaking God's word boldly. Can you imagine the ground shaking underneath your feet and a boldness falls on you and you get hit with the Holy Spirit again? They didn't have it just once, right? At this point, they had actually had it at least three times. You can unplug that thing. So has God ever shaken your foundation? Yes. Yes. Sure. My thing's back on. Okay. Okay. In Acts nine. Okay. What did it take? What would it take to get your attention? Would it take maybe losing your family, being put into prison, just losing everything? Well, just think of Saul. He was a prestigious, you know, he was a high leader in of the Jewish faith. He was a man of God, supposedly a man of God. And all of a sudden, he's going down the road. I think he's going to Damascus. And all of a sudden, he sees this bright light up in the sky, and it blinds him. And he hears a voice, the voice of God speaking to him. He's like, and he falls down to the ground. And everybody around him hears a voice, but there's nobody there. It's just them, just the him and his little caravan of people traveling. He's like, "Who, whose voice is this?" Like, they don't know who it. Well, they knew who it is. They say, "Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?" And you know, he knows, he recognizes, "Oh, that's, that's the voice of God." And he, when he gets up, and he has, he has this little encounter after speaking to God, he gets up and he's blinded. And he has to be led by the hand or to the ne. They took him to the town. Guess God tells him where to go, or he travels to a friend's house. I'm not sure exactly where they took him. Well, it does say in the next little bit, ver later, he goes there and he's like, "What?" He knows God spoke to him. He knows he had an encounter with God. And he goes and he just starts praying. He knows what he needs to do. He starts praying, he starts fasting. He's like, "God, God, what do you want from me?" And he stays there for three days. And then he has a, a vision. I think he had a vision. And when he has this vision, and and he knows that somebody's gonna be coming to him to to tell him what to do next. And that's where Ananias comes in. And then a couple verses later, Ananias has a vision. And he tells them to go see Paul. He's like, "Paul?" Well, actually, Saul at that time. "Saul, isn't that the guy who's going around killing people? He's killing Christians." "I'm a Christian now. I'm a believer. I'm a follower of the way of Christ. And I'm going to, you want me to go to this man?" Why? He had fear because he, you know, he thought he was going to be killed if he went to this man. But he, but God kind of ignores him and tells him why he needs to go. He tells him why he needs, goodness, man. He's there praying and fasting. And he needs to pray for him, his blindness to be taken away. And then also he gives him a prophecy of what he's supposed to be doing. Actually, I think I'm going to read that. Um, um, get to the right page here. Acts nine. Okay. K, this. Okay, I'll just read it. Ananias, Lord says, Ananias, here I am, Lord. Get up and go to the straight Boulevard. Go to the house of Judas in AC, by the man from Tarsus, Saul by name. He is praying for me at this very instant. He has had, had a vision, a vision of a man by your name who will come, lay hands on him and heal his eyesight. Of course, an eye. That's the point where he's afraid. He's said, "Lord, I know who you're talking about. I've heard rumors about this fellow. He's an evil man. Has caused great harm for your special people in Jerusalem. I've heard that he has been authorized by the religious authorities to come here and chain everyone who's associated with your name." So here, he was going to be in prison. But then he tells him what Paul's mission is. Yes, but you must go. I have chosen you as my instrument to bring to my instrument to bring my name far and wide to the outsiders, to kings and people of Israel as well. I have much to show him, including how much he must suffer for my name. So Ananias gets up immediately and takes off this frustrate street to find Paul and then lays hands on it and restores his sight. When he restores his sight, he just sees the scales just fall off of his eyes and he's able to be, you know, see again. And have, you know, he went out and he got something to eat and was baptized. It's just how important it is for us to be obedient to what God is telling us to do. This is just one another way that God speaks to people, you know, in visions and dreams. And that's probably another time, I guess this is more of a vision here. But you know, how it's important is to be obedient and how the Holy Spirit was with Ananias. He was just a common person. He was not one of the 12 disciples. He was just another follower of Jesus that just heard God's voice and told him what to do. He, he just had an impact upon Saul's life. And how what Saul, he later became Paul, and how he went throughout the whole region. He started out Israel, a little bit, not in that area, in Jerusalem, but then he went out to more of the, when all most of the Gentiles who lived at in Greece and Rome and, um, Macedonia and all those other places. And how he just shared the gospel wherever he went. He went with the boldness and the confidence. If you, I've read so many of his books, you know, to the Corinthians, the Galatians, and the Ephesians. He spoke with such boldness and authority. I don't think I would have want to mess with anything Saul said. I mean, not Saul, but Paul spoke about because I think he's had such a boldness. If you did something wrong, he would tell you. He many times he told them, "Nii, you can't do this. You can't shouldn't be doing that. That's not how a believer believes. And that's not what you should be doing." You, you know, you, you even, yeah, I'm not sure if I want to go that. Yeah, okay. Just so many different things he told him to do and directions to go. And it's just so, he was such a bold man. He just, but you know, he was obedient. He listened to the Holy Spirit. And wherever he went, he just was obedient to what God told him to do. Yeah.
So if you were Ananias, would you go to a murderer? Like a known murderer? And, you know, he argued with God, but God didn't acknowledge his argument. He didn't acknowledge his fear. He just said, "Go." You know, and God gave him a way of what to do. And so, you know, he gave him a boldness to go. I mean, he, he, you know, we don't know, but he was probably like, you know, he might have just went with such a boldness and got over his his fear. You know, I know what it's like when when God asked me to talk to somebody and I had fear and I was afraid I would push away from God because I only saw evangelism go wrong in my life and it pushed me away from God. You know, but we want to show you like it's average people doing extraordinary, unusual, amazing things for God. And it's for his kingdom. You know, and so the story of Paul when he went to Macedonia, like I love that story. You know, um, so I live a life of green light until red. People think I live haphazardly. People think that, Trina, you need to sow some roots. You need to, you know, be more accountable. You know, I'm free. I don't have a husband. I don't have any kids. I don't have anybody tell me what to do. I do have lots of friends that try. I try sometimes, but, you know, no. I, I allow people to hold me accountable. I do, you know, but when, when, when God saved me from suicide and spoke to me audibly, he changed my life in an instant. This person who was committing suicide is no longer the same person. That's right. In an instant. And and it was the baptism of the Holy Spirit in my car that day. Day. I came out of a Baptist background for 18 years. I served. Well, I wore the shirt. I did the thing that I needed to do. It didn't make me any difference. I had 12 years of medical problems that it did not help. I fell asleep in church a lot. And I think God protected me from hearing all the religion. And my friend would always be like, "Wake up, wake up, wake up." And when you're sick and you're trying to work a full-time job, Sunday is really the only day you get to rest. You know, and your body like sets in that pew. And we hear, I do like church. I do. But Paul is going to Asia. And all of us, we trust that if we're running for God, do we trust that God will guide us? So most of you guys want to be electricians or something in the construction field, right? So do you know that you can take this into your job? You'll know where the electrical issue is and you'll know where not to touch. If you're in tune to God, then your will get a little lit up. I touched the back of the TV, the place where you should touch, and lived to tell about it. I get struck by lightning, um, on the beach, which I don't, you know, recommend. My hair stood up. E got me in trouble. She's like, "Oh no, it's way out there. We're good." She wasn't the one that got hit. I think you also touched electric fence one time too. Oh, yeah. Yeah, like, and get twice, like not just once because it was. I touched the gate. The wire was back. It was wrapped around and it was laying on the fence on the metal gate. So when I went to hit the gate, it was electrified. So, um, yeah, so I've been electrocuted a couple different times. I think there's nine lives. So I need to be careful. But so do you, do you trust that if if you're, if you're doing God's work and you're looking everywhere you go, like a challenge you like these 12 weeks, really go out and take someone with you. And it's like, God, who are you highlighting here? We're going to Walmart to get food for everybody. You know, we're going to a job. God, who at this job needs a life-changing encounter with you? Let me be that encounter. Let me be Peter saying, "Hey, gold and silver I have not, but what I have, I give you." I want to be Ananias to Paul. I want to be Paul to Lydia. I want to be Peter to Cornelius and his entire Gentile nation. Like Peter changed an entire culture because he wasn't afraid of going against culture. He wasn't afraid of going to prison. Did you know that if a Jewish man back then was seen with a Gentile, you could go to prison? And by him eating something that that their Jewish culture said that was wrong, it meant that he was defiling his body to God. And God told him in an encounter, he was taken in a in a trance. Like, man, I want that stuff. Like I've had some crazy things happen too. And he's praying and while he's praying because he's praying, waiting for his food, it didn't have McDonald's then. Had microwave. And while his food being made, he goes in and prays and God takes him into the trance and shows him this entire vision where this tablecloth comes down and all these animals and he would assume would defile him. And God says, "Don't call clean unclean what I call clean." A lot of people I know, a lot of you probably been judged, but that slate is clean. That's not who you are anymore. And those people out there that are where you were, they're not, they're not unclean either, right? They just need someone to come up and say, "Gold and silver I have not, but what I have, I give you." My testimony is the testimony of Jesus Christ. And it means, do it again, God, do it again. And so everywhere Paul went, he trusted the Holy Spirit. He trusted God. He had a relationship. That's what we want you to build. We hope that we can teach you different ways and you can jump into a relationship with God, with Jesus and the Holy Spirit. It is so real. It is like I'm talking to Tina. It's like I'm talking to you. He's right here. He's right here. People may tell you now, you can't talk to God face to face, spirit to spirit. I can. There's a place in the Bible that actually says that you can talk to him face to face because Jesus is our intercessor. He's the one that goes between you and God. And he makes a way where there was no way. And so the Holy Spirit shows up and tells Paul, "You can't go this way." So Paul just goes another direction. And the Spirit of Jesus shows up and says, "Nope." And so he turns and he goes another way. And that night, he has a dream. And in his dream, he sees men in Macedonia. When he goes, I think this is awesome because I love to dig apart scripture. Do you know that that word "man" is interchangeable with "woman"? And man doesn't mean it was a man. And he runs into Lydia, the businesswoman, the woman of purple, a very influential woman. And God opens her heart to hear Paul's words. And it changes her life. And so she is such a, um, influential person that she talks him into come into her house. And because she's influential and she talked me into come into her house, her entire family gets Christ. I believe that she was the first businesswoman that took Christ into the business world. What if you have, say, for instance, you're, you got a deal coming up and you're, you have another contractor that's bidding the same job. And there's no way you can bid enough low enough to make it work without losing your butt. Do you, do you trust that if that's God's job for you, through prayer, that you stand there and say, "God, you showed me this person. This is my job. And I thank you for that job. Show me what I need to do." What if he gives you a word of knowledge for the owner? And say, "Hey, you know what? I think I don't know anything about you, but I think I saw a vision of you and you injured your knee while you were playing football at age, and it completely destroyed your college." What if you get something like that? Like, "Guys, like, who are you?" "Well, I'm just a son of the Most High." "But God showed me that because he wants to heal you today because he loves you that much." And the guy that had knee pain since he was in high school, now because you step out of your comfort zone, he gets completely healed. Do you think that he's going to go with your contract time after time after time? God can show favor for you like nobody's business. It says in John 15:16, Jesus says this to the disciples. He said, "You did not choose me, but I chose you. And I CH, I appointed you to be fruitful and have lasting fruit." And then there's this big four-letter word. And he said, "Then my Father will answer everything that you ask in my name." That word "then." If you look at my old NIV Bible and you look at the new Blue Letter Bible, they changed it. Took the word "then" because it's impactful. And you know, it says something very similar, but that word "then" to me means something needs to happen before. And if I'm not going to walk in obedience, if I'm not going to walk in relationship with God, why do I need him to answer my prayers? If I don't know who he is today, and has such a love for my father that going everywhere he goes, and I'm grabbing a hold of his leg like a little kid, like, "Daddy, don't go without me. Come on, let's go to the grocery store together. Show me who you want to talk to. Who are you visiting in the nighttime hours? Who has a shoulder problem?" Oh, man, I got a twins in my back. Hey, all right. Who has the back problem? What if you get to be someone's solution that changes their life? That they radically get on fire for God. And they could be the richest person in the world. And now the money in the kingdom of hell gets transferred to the kingdom of God. Not necessarily in your pocket, but at God's kingdom. Because when that person gets lit on fire, they're going to be like a Zacchaeus and they're going to pay back everyone that they wronged because their hearts going to be convicted. And the money that they gain now is going to be even greater for the kingdom of God. You get to be that person to change someone's life so radically, so powerfully. But you can't do it without the baptism of the Holy Spirit. And the reason why we went through some of the stories and we didn't have time to go through more of them is we want you to know that Ananias wasn't one of the original 12. When God used him, Paul wasn't one of the original 12. God used him. He was murdering Christians. Cornelius was a Gentile. And because of his prayers to a God that they didn't even know or technically allowed to even pray to, he changed an entire culture. An entire group of people get to come to Christ. Now Peter, because he stepped over in line and said, "You know what? I don't care if I go to prison. I don't care if this is a law. God is on me so strong. There must be a reason. I'm going to eat this food in front of me, even though Jewish culture says it defiles my body." Says, "Don't call something unclean that is clean." And he was also meeting the people. If you have an opportunity to go out to dinner with a Muslim man, will you go? Would you go out to dinner with someone who's a Jehovah's Witness, even though they're trying to win you into their kingdom, trusting that if God put them in your walk, God has a plan for their life? We just had that happen. This was awesome. I'll end on this and then we're going to pray for you. I just, I love, man, we can tell you story after story. We're in Galveston, Texas. I love the beach. We went down there with a ministry called City Quake. Y'all know Damon Butler. He runs with Tomo. And I think he was actually at that conference. So anyway, we're at this conference and we're helping to serve. We go out into the streets and do ministry. And so we're teaching people to go out and and helping to encourage them. Then if we can do it, they can do it. And so Tina is talking to this lady. And I love the accent. This lady has a southern draw. She's like a Southern bell. And I'm like, "What? I love this. Can you pray for me so that I could talk like you?" I love, love the southern accent. Like, I'm praying that God gives it to me. Some days I can pull it off. If I sit long enough and talk to Chris, I can go into a Puerto Rican restaurant and order like a southern person. It's hilarious. She like, "You, you were on the phone for a half hour. Look what you're doing. You messed up the Pyle D Jackson." So anyway, this lady is eager beaver and she jumps up and she comes over and she's going to pray for me. Do you think that maybe God has a plan for her? It was beautiful. And I get a word of knowledge that she has a knee problem. And I said, "Hey, do you have a knee problem?" "I do." "How do you know?" "I said, well, God showed it to me." And I said, "He wants to heal you." And it's, um, the, I get my lefts and rights still mixed up. And I said, "Is it that knee?" And she's like, "Yeah." Like, and she said, "But you can't pray for me." I was going to let you pray for me to have your son an accent. Not even really a godly request. I was just having fun. Me, my heart's desire would leap in her joy, especially when I get back. CR and drive people crazy. And, and so I'm praying. So what are you doing that? Okay. So we realize she's Jehovah's Witness. And she don't, she'll receive prayer, but she'll give prayer. I think that's funny. I'm like, "God, you need to do something. Is show me that you had a word for your girl and she won't receive it." So out of her mouth, you cannot make this up. Out of her mouth, she quotes a scripture in Isaiah 54, I think, or 55, 54. And it's the scripture about God's word won't return void. I'm like, "What?" I said, "That's awesome." I said, "Do you know the word that God just gave me is exactly that? I don't have to touch you because God's going to heal you because his word won't return void because it was him that showed me that you had a knee problem. And when he shows me something like that that I shouldn't know, I know that he's going to heal you." And she didn't know what to do with that. I said, "So I don't have to touch you because I know that God just healed you." And she wouldn't tell us whether she got healed or not. Not she walked away. We walked away. Yeah. But can you be that vessel this week? We're going to pray for everybody. And I really want you to, even if you don't feel like you want to get prayer, just humble yourself and come forward because I really believe that God wants to do something in each one of you. You know, unless you're happy with where you are, okay? But what if there is just an inkling of possibility that this time is life-changing? What if this time makes a mark on you that changes your life? You had that a couple weeks ago. Changed you, right? I had when in 2007, it transformed my life. And now I am like a sponge that wants it every time I can get it because I want so much more than what I can see. I want to taste him. I want to smell him. I want to feel him. I want to experience him. Whichever plug it in.
So Father God, I thank you for what you're gonna do. I thank you, Father God, that we are not just ordinary, uneducated people, but you knew us before we were formed in your womb. You knew the struggles that we would go through. You didn't cause them, but you had faith that we would find our way back to you and that you would find your way back to us through all the garbage that the enemy would throw our way. Holy Spirit, come this place. Holy Spirit, come. God, I pray for boldness, confidence, and courage. I thank you for all, God, for faith beyond measure. I thank you, Father God, that you are going to transform our. You're going to heal our minds. You're going to heal our bodies. You're going to take away any else of addiction that lingers. That you're going to give us the ability to trample on the enemy's head that is laying beside our foot. You're going to give us the ability to put him under our feet.
Just picture yourself in the place that you like to go to your mind. That's nice and peaceful. Just put yourself there where everything is so quiet and you're just so relaxed. It could be by a creek for creek. It could be out in the mountains. What there's their distractions. All you hear is like chirping of birds, leaves crunching feet as you're walking along. And you're just enjoying the breeze in your face as you walk along. Just ask Jesus to come right there, right beside you. Just picture him there, just walking, just just looking at you. You're just walking side by side. And he puts his arm around you. And he just looks inside. Then he just looks at you in the face. And you're just looking right in the face. And you see his eyes. What do they, what do his eyes look like? Are they brown? This brilliant blue? You see his face. It's just perfect. And when you see his face and his eyes, all you can see is just love. Love for you. And you just can't have enough of that. But he wants you so much that is just flowing out of him as you look at him in the face. And that love just coming. What is he saying about it, about you? His son. He, about you. Just relax as he's just speaking his words to you.
