I got Abraham Osmond Jacob and peace everyone. when I said today in the name of Jesus. those that are here. those that are also watching online. it's a blessing to be here again on the Lord Sabbath. we gonna get into the class. as y'all can see from the title of the class. it's called God's creation the beginning to the end. and we mainly just going to look at how the Lord set this thing up. from all the way from the very beginning of the world. all the way down to what to what the ultimate plan is. uh pertaining to God and what he has set up for us. last week we looked at Jesus being Melchizedek the priest. didn't really look too much into him being a king of Jerusalem. but more so uh into the Lord being the priest. and even that's going to be fulfilled when the Lord get back. when Jesus get back and set his kingdom up. he gonna finish that part off as well. um but we looked at that last week. and it's just so much so much in the Bible. it's like we come to church and uh you know just going through the word. and it's like we just come and reading the book. you know like like we go to school. and um you know we have different books for different classes that we have to. that you have to master learn the different the different uh things that inside those books. different curriculums and you learn those and you go to school back when he's coming up every day uh five days a week. and we learn stuff and read out of those books and stuff like that. and and that's what that's what school was for. so you learn you know teaching you things. um so we come to church. it's really no different. you know we come here and we read not a one book. and what we're doing is we're learning about God. you know what I'm saying. that's why we could talk about different subjects. you know one week we may be talking about like last week we was talking about McKees. today um then one week we can talk about faith. and one week we can be talking about 2300 days. but we don't have to have different books like you would in in normal school. in this case right here we just got one book. and we're learning about our God. you know there's just so much and so much inside the Bible. but everything that he wants us to know. it's inside his word. you know he don't leave any any room for us to do any guessing. you know we don't have to put our own input in there and try to make things up. that's when it becomes that's when you turn to Simplicity of Christ. it becomes you know uh instead of being simple now it's hard. because mankind will get in there and start putting that input in there. but it shouldn't be that way. if we just stick to the Bible and just read it as it is. and we'll see that the Lord just laid it out real simple. so in front of the beginning from you know starting off with his creation. you know we can see all the different things around us sisters and brothers. everything I mean just just just life in itself. just us waking up this morning having the breath of life. you know you know you couldn't have done that. none of us are able to do their sisters and brothers. a child being born. you know spending nine months or 40 weeks inside of a womb surrounded by water. and then coming into the world being able to breathe air. you know you have to know that some height enough sisters and brothers. the Sun and the Moon that you can see every day outside hanging on nothing. you know it got to be somebody greater than us. the oceans all the big bodies of waters that we see. the fish the birds and stuff like that. like you have to know that as something bigger than us in this world assistant brother. and it is. but even in that case right there. the Lord even laid laid that out in his word of how all this stuff came into effect sisters and brothers. and when it all boils down to it. everything is set up for mankind. see we could have we could have just you know like man we'll see that man was created on the sixth day. and you know it's highly possible if Adam wasn't saying we would be resting or just chilling right now. you know what I'm saying. I wouldn't have to worry about Sin and death. um I mean I don't know what the outcome would have been. but I just know that you know where would sin be at if Adam would obey. you know what I'm saying. and what code was saying is death and sickness and the disease and all that type of stuff. so very high possibility we would have just been relaxing and chilling. which is what we work into war. we're working to get get uh back to that. so that's what we're going to look at today sisters and brothers. it's the creation God's creation. and it's all in the Bible. like I say we can see everything that God has laid out inside his word. so we're gonna open this up in Isaiah 46. Isaiah 46. God's creation the beginning to the end. because even in his creation or even in the word. he even take you all the way down to the end of the world. and how things are going to be set up. we're going to see what the ultimate goal is for man. but that's going to be later on down the line. but we're going to walk through this. look go through the word and look at how God had everything set up. we may skip over a few days. I think we're going to look at day one day two. look at day four six seven. you know the fall of Man and stuff like that. oh we're gonna see what it what what how God really set everything up. so Isaiah 46. Isaiah 46. and let's pick this up at verse 9. Isaiah 46. and verse 9. I'm going to read that for me. remember the former things of old. for I am God and there is none else. I am God and there is none like me. that's right. and you know in this case right here. this is Jesus doing the talking. and of course he of course you got inside the god family. another name for it is Elohim. but inside the god family you got God the father and God the son. but as far as what we know Mankind. we don't know no other gods. so you can't compare any other gods to the God of this Bible. you can't compare any other religion. you know uh Ain't No Other sacred texts. it's only one sacred text. like some people try to compare uh the Quran. they try to call that a sacred text. there's nothing sacred about it sister brother. that is not the word of God. this is the word of God. and he don't need no help. but this is the only God that man has ever known sisters and brothers. but notice what he's saying. they say remember the former things of old. find God and there is none else. what else to say. I am God and there is none like me. that's right. now now look at look at this characteristic here. he said I'm God and there is none like me. right there's none like him. and this is how you'll be able to identify the true and living God. because notice what this guy can do. what is a declaring the end from the beginning. he say declaring the end from the beginning. right declaring the end of what. in this case we talking about today. the Lord calling the end of the world from the very beginning. and we're going to see that in the creation sisters and brothers. how the Lord really had everything set up for us. you know we could have kept on going and kept you know uh went into that Utopia that we seek for. but sin is entered in sisters and brothers. but we're going to get out of that as well. we just have to make sure we do the things required by God. but he said Remember the former things of Old Farm God and there's none else. I'm God and there's none like me. declaring the end from the beginning. right what else to say. and from ancient times the things that are not yet done. wait a minute now. from Old Time ancient times he said of things that are not yet done. right that's that that's a separation right there. you know like we'll say sometimes go look in the Quran. go look in all these other books. go look at yourself at books. you know and see what God would call the end of the world from the very beginning. we'll lay it out there itemize everything and tell you how it's gonna happen. and you're not gonna be able to find it. that's how you know that this God is the true and living God. separates himself from all other gods sisters and brothers. declaring the end from the beginning. and from ancient times the things that are not yet done. but you can look in the word. and he gonna tell you how everything is going to unfold. so you can you know that's why I say we got a cheat sheet. everybody you know it's accessible to everybody. but everybody don't understand it. you know they look in it. they read the Bible. but they can't understand it. Lord God they got their minds blinded. but for us to be able to look at it and read it and get a great understanding on the sisters and brother. I mean some things we don't understand all the way. but we we got the most the most part we understand. so that's a blessing. because we can see how things going to unfold. because based on this word of God. the Lord is showing it to us before it even happens. so we say declaring the end from the beginning. and from ancient times the things that are not yet done. saying what my counsel shall stand. and I will do all my pleasures. and it's going to happen regardless of whether people believe it or not. it don't matter. whatever the Lord set out to be done. it's gonna happen sisters and brothers. but now let's take this back to the very beginning. and we're going to walk through this. because that's what we come to church for. it's you know like I said. it's just like School. everybody for me with school for the most part. you had to go go to school. you know you had to pass a grade to move on to the next level. and then eventually you graduate. you know so everybody for the most part familiar with school sisters and brothers. where it shouldn't be no different here. this is this supposed to be the most important School of all. you know this is why we read the Bible so much. because we're learning about our God. like every week. that's what it's about. it's about being taught about our God out of his word sisters and brothers. and it's going to be different subjects outside of the same book. so in this case this week. we just looking at his creation the beginning to the end. so Genesis 1. let's pick this up at verse one. Genesis 1. and verse one. when you get that go and read it for me. in the beginning God created the Heaven and the Earth. and the Earth was without form and void. and darkness was upon the face of the deep. okay. so just a few things to pay attention to. say in the beginning. right God created the Heaven and the Earth. and the Earth was without form and void. and darkness was upon the face of the deep. right and we're gonna see what all that is. but in the beginning. we're not talking about uh several different times. because as we move throughout the world. we'll see that we'll see in the beginning somewhere else. but we just it's always reverting back to this right here. the beginning of the Bible. you know and the Lord is letting Moses know what was going on. that's what I was calling that's why I was calling the first five books of Moses. but this is the Lord talking to Moses pertaining to the very beginning. before mankind came into existence. and how God starts setting everything up. so I said in the beginning God created the Heaven and the Earth. and Earth was without forming void. and darkness was upon the face of the deep. what else to say. and the spirit of God moved upon the face of the water. and God said let there be light. and there was light. that's right. so remember it was Darkness upon the face of the deep. right then in verse 3. he said and God said let there be light. and there was light. go ahead and read. and God saw the light that it was good. and God divided the light from the darkness. and God called the light day. and the Darkness he called night. go ahead. and the evening in the morning were the first day. that's right. so something to take note of. somebody to take note of the way the Lord determines that they are. the way you know when you when you think when you look at God. look time don't don't matter to him. right you know he's uh he's an eternal being. so he's not constricted by time. we are. so things are explained in a sense what we can understand it. you know we understand uh day and night. you know we we constricted by time like I say. so or restricted by the time. so the Lord uh give us examples. so in this case right here in verse five. he said and God called the light day. and the Darkness he called night. right and then he says um in the evening and the morning. right or the first day. so I just want you to see that. because some people don't know how God determines today. as a matter of fact most of the world doesn't understand how God determines the day. so what would be the beginning of the day. the evening. right so we say the evening and the morning were the first day. so when the Sun goes goes down this evening. that's going to take us until Sunday. the first day of the week sisters and brothers. it's not determined by 12 o'clock midnight. you know it's still the middle of the night. there's no change. but that's how you know that you know there's something working in our position to God. in this case we're talking about saying. that's why I talk about in Daniel 7. how this man that was going to come working on behalf of Satan gonna think to change times and laws. so like it says here. God called the like day and the Darkness he called night. in the evening and the morning were the first day. right so now let's go to Isaiah 5. because we just want to kind of see some characteristics that go along with this Darkness. so we can get a good understanding on what it's talking about. when it said Darkness cover you know was upon the face the face of the deep. why did the light have to come in the first place. so Isaiah 5. because it's Darkness. like I say it's gonna it's gonna equate to something. it didn't just come out of nowhere. and we're not talking about um we're not talking about when you see light right there. we're not talking about the Sun and the Moon. that's later on down the line. it's just that the Lord is getting ready to start setting everything up. so as he get get ready to start rolling with his creation. he gonna put some light at his sisters and brothers. but we gonna see what that is. aiah 5. and pick this up at uh verse 20. I'm gonna read that for me. woe unto them that call evil good. uh-huh and good evil. now pay attention to what to say. say woe unto them that call evil good. right and good evil. because you're not supposed to do that. you're not supposed to like for example in this case right here. the law is good. that's why Paul tell you that in Romans 7. right it's holy just stand good. and do do us some good to obey that and observe it. but if you're not obeying God's law sisters and brothers. you know you walking in darkness. we'll see that the law is is like sisters and brothers later on. but they say look. we'll unto them that call either good and good evil. right and pay attention to how what he really getting at. go ahead and read. what else to say. that put Darkness for life. oh wait a minute now. he's saying I do that does what. that put Darkness for light. but that Darkness will be equated to evil sisters and brothers. he say woe unto them that call evil good and good evil. that put Darkness for light. like in other words darkness in this case we're talking about Sin unrighteousness. you know anything that falls up under you know that come with this man being born. you know because that's why we need God's word to pull us out of Darkness sisters and brothers. but he say look. that put Darkness for light. and what else. and light for Darkness. and Light for Darkness. so in other words how you gonna take God's word and flip it upside down. you can kind of see uh very privately in the world today. that the word has flipped everything upside down. when it comes to obeying God. right or just his word in itself. they don't flip everything upside down. you know we the main part we know about. you know especially with this month right right now. they call it pride one. first off pride is a problem when it comes to God. the bible let you know that the father father prior to Satan. but just the acting itself of what what they represent with this pride month sisters and brothers. look they don't flip they don't flip the the natural state of man and woman of being together. how God set it up. they didn't flip it upside down. and now say it's okay for man and man to be together. and they call that good. right and what it is. we're doing you know heterosexual husband and wife doing it the right way. oh that's becoming a problem. you know but this is what the Lord is referring to when he say woe unto them. in other words look you got destruction coming. woe unto them that call evil good and good evil. that put Darkness for light and light for darkness. and that put what else. bitter for sweet and Sweet for bitter. that's right. but now let's move a little further. Luke 10. like I said some things that line up with this darkness. and we're gonna get to the light later on. but we need to see what was the purpose of the light coming in the first place. why was it necessary. you know just to let the cat out the bag. hey because you had Satan on the scene sisters and brothers. Satan on the scene. and what come with Satan is all type of all type of sin. all type of wickedness. all type of evil. so it's gonna be necessary that the Lord sent his son. which is that light in a world full of Darkness sisters and brothers. see we was in that before. we was walking in darkness inside of our minds. you know when you're not dealing with the word. when you're not obeying the law and following God's word. guess what you're doing. you walking in darkness sisters and brothers. so Luke 10. and it's Jesus talking to the disciples. as they get ready to go out and preach. and he telling them giving them some stipulations on how to move about. because it ain't just this ain't just you know uh a type of Doctrine when it comes to the Bible. it's not this ain't the type of doctrine that everybody gonna accept. so the Lord even let them know they're gonna have to move about very carefully. Luke 10. picked this up in verse one. what'd it say brother. after these things the Lord appointed other 70 also. uh-huh and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place whether he himself would come. that's right. and even when you know younger brothers going out to preach the gospel. just somebody going out to preach by themselves. you know you might want to take note of how God sent them out. because believe it or not. people will turn to you for the word of God. and you wouldn't believe that somebody will jump on you because you reading the Bible to them. it will happen sisters and brothers. keep in mind Jesus got killed for bringing the word didn't he. you know but notice how God sent him out. he sent him out two by two. right outside of just the regular disciples. he say look after these things the Lord appointed other 70 also. and sent them two and two before his face into every city in place whether he himself would come. what else to say. therefore said he unto them. uh-huh the Harvest truly is great. but the laborers are few. go ahead. pray therefore the lord of the Harvest that he would send forth laborers into his Harvest. uh-huh go ahead. go your way. behold I send you forth as Lambs Among Wolves. that's right. but look at what they say. the Harvest is great but the labors are few. you know and that's why you see Brothers coming up in the word preaching the gospel. because look one person can't do it. especially when you got a world that's almost that's ripe in a sense looking for the word. you know we have to train up younger brothers and get them ready to get out and preach the gospel gospel as well. just like back then. but Jesus telling us he said look the Harvest truly is great but the labor is a few. pray ye therefore the lord of the Harvest that he will send forth laborers into his Harvest. what else to say. verse 3. go your way. behold I send you forth as Lambs Among Wolves. that's right. like I say it ain't gonna be you know widely accepted. you know it's not gonna you know you start you come into the word and you start operating according to the word. look this is the difference. this is not the same or this is what not what everybody's accustomed to sisters and brothers. so that reaction you looking to get when you bring somebody to word. hey don't don't be a surprise if you don't go the way you thought it would go. that's why another place I think Matthew 7. the Lord was telling you don't cast your prayer before swine. right you know they'll mess they'll take that word get rid of it and turn around and ring you also. so you have to be mindful of how you dealing with the word. right he said go your ways behold I send you forth as Lambs Among Wolves. right what is saying. verse 10. skip down to read that. what it say. let's get to the point. go ahead. he that Hearth you here with me. and he that despises you despise of me. uh-huh. so keep in mind look that's why when you preach in a word and you're giving somebody to the gospel sisters and brothers. if they reject you it's not you they rejecting. right because it ain't like you made the Bible up. it ain't like we made this up. right all we doing is showing you what the Lord is saying. and that's how the Lord operates. you know like we saw order last week. Lord do the same thing. that's why you come to church. you come to church to get the word. and you go out in the world to do what. let your light shine. you know but some people are not gonna receive it. and he just making sure he makes this clear. he that here if you hear of me. and on the other hand he said he that despise of you despise me. what else to say. and he that despises me despise of him that sent me. and the father is the one that sent Jesus. so you're gonna you're gonna be in some trouble if you not hearing what it is we saying. because we getting it from. we getting it from the Lord. Jesus is going to give it to us right by where the Holy Ghost. in this case. but where is he getting it from. it's sent down from the father. right that's all we trying to do is we're just trying to put the word out here to warn this world to turn from wickedness. because time is running out. but if you don't want to receive. look that's up to you. you rejecting the father ultimately. that's who you rejecting. going to keep reading. what else to say. and the 70 returned again with Joy saying Lord even the devils are subject unto us through thy name. and it was they was uh that was happy about it. I mean surprised by that. right he say look. in the 70 return again with joy saying Lord even the devils are subject unto us through thy name. right but notice what Jesus is going to say. go ahead. what'd he say. and he said unto them. I beheld Satan as lightning fall from Heaven. that's right. wait a minute now. notice what he's saying. he said I beheld Satan has enlightening fall from Heaven. when did that take place. that took place before we even came into the picture citizens Brothers. before mankind was created. before the sun and moon was created. you know that we gonna go back and forth through in Genesis. before that came about. guess what Satan had already got cast out to this Earth. systems and brothers. so because of that. you know darkness is in this Earth now sisters and brothers. so when mankind come into the world. is born into this world. guess what you know what's you know what's going to be waiting on you. darkness is right there. so because darkness is not on the scene. it's going to be necessary for God to bring some light to get man out of this situation. but how is it that Jesus can say that. he beheld at this point. he went number 30 something years old. how is it that he can say I beheld Satan fall from Heaven. you know why you can say that. because Jesus was around in the very beginning. before the beginning even took place. Jesus was around. matter of fact he's the one for Satan and Angels being created. it's just that this Angel happened to go Rogue sisters and brothers. but he's been around. and that's where you know Mankind and himself don't understand that Jesus ain't just somebody that came. you know uh through mayor. he's been around. so he says look. and he said unto them. I beheld Satan has lightning fall from Heaven. he referring to when Satan got cast out. so guess what he on this. he on this Earth. and let's see what he's doing. let's move over to uh uh first Peter five. because he walking on this Earth now. we got Darkness his sisters and brothers. and this is what's going to have us in need of light. but what come with this Darkness. hey ultimately at the end of the day. what comes with this Darkness is death sisters and brothers. that's why at the end of the day for mankind. when it's all said and done. hey we can live a good life. but when it's all said and done. guess what death is right there. but that's an attribute. that's a characteristic of this Darkness sisters and brothers. first Peter 5. first Peter 5. and pick this up in verse 8. go and read that word to say. be sober. uh-huh. be villageing. because your adversary the devil. as a roaring lion walketh about seeking whom he may devour. wait a minute now. he got cast out. Jesus I saw him get you know he got you know get cast out like lightning fall from heaven. right but he's here. and notice what he's doing. this is why this warning is you know important to all of us. they say be sober. right be vigilant. like in other words you ain't got time to sleep on the job. you ain't got time to get drunk and move you know uh get away from the doctor. you ain't got time to play with it. why because Satan is always on the Proud sisters and brothers. like I said all the time. when you sleep and say moving around trying to think of ways to get you sisters and brothers. he said look be sober. be vigilant. because what your adversary the devil. he said your adversary the devil. he ain't your friend. he ain't your brother. ain't somebody you can stop on his head spinning his eye. no this is you. we talking about a spirit being. you can't even see him. he's so cold. or he can get inside your mind and put all type of suggestions in your mind. and then you follow you fall for that suggestion. and he just back up and laugh. that's how cold it is. you can't do nothing with them but get in the word of God. and that's how you defeat them. he say be sober. be vigilant. because your adversary the devil. as a roaring lion. in other words going through back and forth in this earth to tear things up. in this case he talking about us mankind. ultimately his end is the Lake of Fire. and if I can get as many many of y'all to come with me. that's what he gonna try to do. because your adversary the devil. as a roaring lion. does what. walketh about seek Him whom he may devour. oh he walking about seeking looking for looking for somebody to take down. looking for somebody to destroy sisters and brothers. but if we didn't if this all we had to look forward to was was was Satan. and you know the results that come with him. then we lost. we we have no way out sisters and brothers. but he walking up and down looking for who he can devour. but the Lord is going to send us something to get out of this. let's go to first John 3. gonna provide a way for us to get out of this. first John 3. provide a way for us to get out of this Darkness. because that's what's on Earth. and that's why that's why we're reading that. you know say Don is cover the Earth. and then he said let there be light. light and he started it was good. right so we're gonna see what this light is that came in this Darkness. what's the purpose of it. because we need it. First John 3. pick this up at uh verse eight. go ahead. he that commit of sin is of the devil. wait a minute now. I say he that does what. commit of sin is of the Devil. look you look there's no nice way to say that is it. if you commit sin. if you breaking God's law. you breaking the Sabbath. eating unclean foods. not obeying God's holy days. because these are Commandments. so sin based on the word of God in verse 4. same chapter. it's transgression of God's law. if you're breaking God's law. the law that was given the Old Testament. if you're breaking that. you are of the devil. that's why he says is he that commits sin is of the devil. right it ain't no middle ground. he that commits sin is of the devil. what else to say. for the devil sinneth from the beginning. oh look at that. he say for the devil Sin from the beginning. from the very start. that's how he ended up getting cast out sisters and brothers. we're taking it all the way back before we even came. hey look the Lord saw him get cast out like lightning fall from Heaven. but that Pride got in him. and next thing you know there was a war in heaven. tell you that Revelation chapter 12. he fought against Mike and his angels. and you know and Satan his angels. they didn't win. they got cast out. so now they're on this Earth. and like I say there's some attributes that come with him. and there's some attributes that come with God. right attributes that come with God is you being obedient to his law. well conversation is hey you committing sin. that's how you know you following Satan. he that commit Sinners of the devil. what else to say. for the devil sinner from the beginning. for this purpose the Son of God was manifested. oh but see this. and this is the purpose. that's why this light had to come. because we got Satan here sisters and brothers. it say that right. it say for this purpose. for this reason. in other words for this purpose the Son of God was manifested. what else. that he might destroy the works of the devil. oh that he might destroy the works of the devil. and the the the ultimate work of Satan. that's that's devoured when all of us is death. but guess what the Lord gonna send that light. he gonna send his son Jesus to bring death off the table. it's going to provide mankind away out of Darkness. so now let's go look at it. let's go to uh John 1. well did we finish that register supposed to go down through team. read 10. yes I'm sorry. read 10 for them. go to nine. yeah yeah. Nine and Nine and ten. whosoever is born of God do us not commit sin. that's right. now look at that. now and say whosoever born is God did not commit sin. not not saying that you you won't uh you won't make a mistake. that you know that's how we was looking at the priesthood last week right. even when God was putting out there those uh in Leviticus 4. you know the matter was that you were killed for your sin. that was a sin out of what kind of ignorance. it once would be nothing on purpose. so even in this case right here. when you get the word of God and you sisters and brother. it's gonna it's gonna bring about a change. and you're not gonna sin in this case on purpose though. you know like it says here. who said was born of God do not commit sin. right then what else to say. go ahead. for his seed remaineth in him. and he cannot sin because he is born of God. that's right. so just think about how like uh you know in Romans 7. when when Paul was talking about sometime when he mess up. and he say he say today it ain't him. but it's actually him. right but in other words it ain't him. what he mean by that is. you know there was a point in time before we all start dealing with the word. right we happen to sin. it really didn't matter. you know it is what it is. where there's no law there's no sin. right but now that you start dealing with the word. you start the mindsets start to change. like for example you sin now. it's like oh man I didn't mean to do that. I messed up. you know it's like you beat yourself up now. because you done took on a whole new man now. you're not thinking the way you used to think. now it's like you trying your best to serve God. so for example you know we don't go around killing. we don't go around stealing. you know I don't go around committing adultery or none of that. right for the most part we all keeping the law. right but you mess around and eat something unclean. what you do. you just you know. and don't and most of us. we we do read the ingredients at the store. right but like I told you. they snuck past me and I ended up eating something clean. it ain't like I just looked at it like well it is what it is. no I was I was vexed about that. because I'm trying to walk according to the word. I ain't I'm not justifying that. I don't want to. I ain't trying to do that no more. I'm trying to be this new man and walk according to the word sisters and brothers. so he said who said was born if God did not commit sin. for his seed remain in him. and he cannot sin because he is born of God. and ultimately that's what we trying to get. we trying to become born again. so we start doing the things now that's gonna that's gonna put us in line with that reward. what else to say. verse 10. and this the children of God are manifest. oh look at it saying that. because we're able to identify who is on God's side. who's on Satan's side. right he said in this the children of God are Manifesto made known. what else. and the children of the devil. that's right. because it's either or. either child of God. you're a child of the devil. if you're keeping God's Commandments. then you're a child of who. God. if you not go ban God's Commandments. who you belong to. the devil. look it's just that simple. it's just that simple. that's why Jesus told the Pharisees his own people. you know even though they was Abraham's seed. he did he turned around and tell him what you are your father the devil. right because they was going against Jesus coming. you know even though there was of Abraham. they was trying to kill Jesus. look that put them in line with being of their father the devil. so in this case right here. he's saying this the children of God are manifest. and the children of the devil. what. whosoever doth not righteousness is not of God. how he said whosoever do it not righteousness. and in this case right here. we're not talking about righteousness that you make up. we talking about the laws of God in his word. if you're not doing that. then you have Satan. it's just that simple. whosoever doth not righteousness is not of God. what else to say. neither he that loveth not his brother. and if you don't love your brother. you can't be of God. but now let's go over to John 1. John 1. it may look like a lot. but it ain't. it's just a lot of different places. but it ain't long at all. we'll have time to add some stuff in here on one. we're gonna pick this up in verse one. John 1. and verse one. go and read that for me. in the beginning was the word. okay. so so now what did we see beginning. before we saw that in Genesis right. that's why I say you know even in first John. I believe might be first John 1 or something like that. the first John five. I'm mistaken. we'll see uh the beginning again. where you say in the beginning. where they handle the word of life. but it's not referring to three and four different Beginnings. just talking about one beginning. so in the beginning. right here notice what it said. this is taking us back to Genesis. that's why we going back and forth throughout the Bible to uh get down to the conclusion. it says in the beginning was the word. what else to say. and the Word was with God. and the Word was with God. and everybody for the most part. whether you're in the truth or not. just growing up in church in itself. you know the word of God is Jesus. that's what we was talking. so I say in the beginning was the word. and the Word was with God. so in the beginning the word was with God. God who. God the Father. God the father was in the beginning. I guess it was with him. that word was with him. what else to say. and the Word was God. oh and Not only was the word of God With God the father. but that word is also a God himself. and this God is the only God that man has ever known. that's why he said there's no God beside me. like like we don't know no other guys. you you might rip guys in your mind and serve false and Idol gods and stuff like that. but look as far as the Living God. Ain't No Other Guy. it's only one God. and we talking about Jesus himself. the father. hey none of us have ever seen or talked to. like Jesus came in the flesh and said himself. you ain't uh you have not seen him or heard his voice at any time. right I think that was him that said my mistaken. but he said in the beginning was the word. and the Word was with God. and the Word was God. what else to say. the same was in the beginning with God. Kiri all things were.
made by him, uh-huh, and without him was not anything made that was made. That's right.
So as we go through our Genesis, because we're going to be back and forth in there, as we go throughout the Book of Genesis, sisters and brothers, the things that were made, it was made by the word. This word we talk about, it was made by Jesus. All things were made by him, and without him was not anything made that was made.
What else to say? And him was life. Oh, so and with this word, what comes with this word? Life. Life, right? He's saying, "In him was life." What else to say? "And the life was the light of men." Oh, wait a minute now.
So, so we, we keep in mind, we, we backtracking in the Book of John. We backtrack until the beginning, ain't we? Remember when we first started off in Genesis, it talked about there was darkness that covered the face of the deep, and then the Lord said, "Let there be light," and there was light, right? But when was that? That was in the beginning. So now we coming later on down the line in John and reading about the beginning again. But now, what we're doing is, we're getting a little more detail on what that light was, sisters and brothers.
See, before the Lord even gets started, we're setting things up for this man. Hey, it's only necessary that the Lord put some type of plan in place to save mankind. Why? Because darkness is on the table. Sin is already available to you before you're born. It's, it's available to you. So in case you happen to go down that road, guess what? The Lord's gonna have a plan to save you. If you end up killing yourself, and that's mainly what all of us has done, when we killed ourselves. So guess what? The Lord has a plan out here to pull you out of that darkness.
He said, "Look, and in him was life." And what else to say? "And the life was the light of men." And the life was the light of men. Why? Why men need this light? Or why is his life being equated to light? And why do men need it? You know why? Because we're walking in darkness. So we're gonna need this. We're gonna need this, this light.
But notice what it's called. It says in verse, uh, four, it said, "In the life was the light of men." Like, this is what's gonna pull you out of sin. This is what's gonna pull you out of death when you're following this. When you're following this word of God. Go and read what else to say.
"And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not." That's right. But it, it ain't hard to understand. In other words, all we talking about, look, the, the, when you say the light shines in darkness, it's almost like a very easy, a way to comprehend it. You're walking according to the word. You're living righteous. But you got people that you know, friends that you may know, family you may know, that you try to give the word to, sisters and brothers, and it's not working. You know why? Because light and darkness, saying it, they don't go, they don't go hand in hand. They don't, they don't go hand in hand with one another.
So when Jesus came, that light came in the world, guess what? Darkness comprehended it not. So much so that that darkness had, what? Had Jesus killed, didn't it? All he was doing was coming with salvation, giving man a way out, and man didn't want it. Like when you want to repent from your evil deeds, you know what you're gonna do? You're gonna go look for that light. When you're tired of living in sin, you know what you're gonna do? You're gonna go look for that light. You're gonna look for a way out. And then God has a way set up for you, sisters and brothers. All that's got to come the same exact way.
He said, "The light shining in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not." Skip down to verse nine and read that. Because, hey, it talks about John the Baptist. He was around, you know, he was around. He was the one that was going to prepare the way for Jesus before he came, right? But John the Baptist let you know, he himself, hey, "I ain't that light. I'm not the one that's gonna, that's gonna bring light to men. I'm a witness of that light, and that's about it. But I'm not him. So don't get me confused." That's why I say, "I won't even, I'm not even worthy, you know, to untie his shoes." In other words, or latch it up his shoes.
So what is saying, verse nine? Go here. "That was the true light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world." That's right. Because John wasn't that light. He was just sent the best witness of that light. That's why it says here, he was, uh, he was sitting there winning something like. Then it says in verse nine, uh, uh, "That was the true light." He was coming to bear witness of that true light, which does what? Which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. Oh, but that, that was the purpose of Jesus coming, sisters and brothers, with light, every man that comes into the world.
Like, for example, like I said, you're born in sin. You're born in sin. When you're born into this world, whether you do something wrong or not, guess what? Based on what Adam has done, the result is what it is. You can't get out of it. You can't change it. You know, you're born into it. And the ultimate end, you can be good as you want to be, but you can't stop death, sisters and brothers. That's that's what man is born into.
But guess what? Notice what it's saying, verse, uh, uh, verse, verse nine. They say, "That was a true light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world." So mankind now has an opportunity out of darkness. Going to read what else to say.
"He was in the world, and the world was made by him." Wait a minute. He said he was in the world, talking about this light, what Jesus, one in the same. He said he was in the world, and the world was made by him. What else to say? "And the world knew him not." And the world knew him not. He was in the world, the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
Sisters and brothers, not that he hadn't tried to disguise himself, but who really wants to obey what it is that's coming out the Bible? And more so than anything, you have more kicking against the word coming out of Sunday churches or religious institutions that call themselves holy. That's where you get most of the trouble from. It was a church that, in the killing Jesus, citizens and brothers, Pharisees, Sadducees, chief priests, and all that. Look, that was a part of the church, lady, when they killed Jesus. So you should expect nothing different today. Especially when you know you're coming about changing things that people are used to, talking against that, look, that's going to be a problem. That's why he was saying, "I send you forth as lambs in the midst of wolves."
But it says, "Look, he was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not." So now, let's go over to, uh, skip. Oh, keep going, keep going. I'm sorry.
"He came unto his own." Uh-huh. "And his own received him not." That's right. He came into his own, his own received him not. Because before he went off to anybody else, he's gonna deal with his own people first and foremost, right? That's why another place he talked about the vineyard, you know, he ended up having to take care of another vineyard. Then he said, "But my own vineyard, I have not kept." Why? Because they rejected him. His own people rejected him. So guess what? That's what got us in this situation that we're in today, sisters and brothers.
So he said, "He came unto his own, his own received him not." What else to say? "But as many as received him." Now pay attention because this is very important because this is, this is the end, end of it all right here. This is the plan. If you pay attention and understand, this is the plan for man. Once all is said and done, this is the plan.
He said, "But as many as received him." What to them gave he power to become the sons of God." Wait a minute. That's what it's all about. When it's all said and done, sisters and brothers, this is what we're trying to become. We are trying to become sons, and in this case, daughters of God as well. But sons of God just covers everybody. But that's what we're trying to become. See, right now, we were born into the, we're born in the flesh, right? Which is why you can cut yourself, you're gonna bleed. You know, that's what happened with his flesh. You take on that spiritual body, look, you, you ain't got to worry about that. You ain't got to worry about death. You ain't got to worry about sickness. You're still gonna be you, but you're gonna have this immortal body. So the ultimate goal is from the very beginning is that man becomes sons of God, sisters and brothers.
But notice what has to happen. He said, "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God." So you got to receive him, don't you? What do you mean by receive? What to say? Go ahead.
"Even to them that believe." That's fitness. I'm sorry. Go ahead. "Even to them that believe on his name." Oh, that's right. So you, it gotta, you know, we're gonna have to believe. We're gonna have to believe everything. All this, everything that comes out his word. You know, gonna have some, some works to show what it is we believe, sisters and brothers. But they say, "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name." And that's what's gonna end up happening with man when it's all said and done. We're gonna become gods. That's what's gonna happen. We're gonna become gods.
Matter of fact, there was a, you know, there was, uh, uh, there was something through inside the plan that messed everything up. Sin. Matter of fact, go to Psalms 82 right quick. Psalms 82. So that shouldn't be strange. If we're gonna become sons of God, that you, you just a part of what, you know, you, you become a god. Citizen, brother. Like if you're a son of man, you're a man. If we become sons of God, you were God, sisters and brothers. But in this case, right here, hey, you know, it was a rift that was doing the plan and just messed everything up.
So Psalms 82, pick this up at, uh, pick this up at verse six. What'd it say? "I have said, Ye are gods." Now, now we're reading this out of the Bible, right? And this is talking about mankind, in this case. But he said, "Look, I said, ye are gods." But what? But what's the, what's the result of that? Now that mankind is messed up, what to say? "And all of you are the children of the most High." That's right. He said, "I've said you gods, and all of you have children of the most High." But what? "But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes."
Okay, but look though. See, see, like I say, you know, we had something that was put in the plan to how to mess things up because of us. But he said, "I say you're gods," right? And children of the most High. But before we can really enjoy that, guess what got to happen? Now we gotta die because sin that came on the scene threw things off. He said, "But you shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes." Why? Why you got to make that comparison to man? Why you got to fall like me and die like one of the princes? You know why? Because gods don't die, sisters and brothers. That's why. That's why I got to make that comparison there. So that's what's happening to us now.
So it's necessary that the Lord send this light, which this light, like I said, that light was the life of men. It's light being put on the table to offer us, offers a way out of this darkness. Now, move over to, uh, John 8. John 8. What? No physical light. That he was talking about. We're gonna get down to that. But this light that we talk about in Genesis 1, verses two and three, you ain't never seen that light because we're not talking about a physical light in this case. You're just talking about something spiritual.
So John 8, verse 12. Going to read that. From what to say, brother? "Then spake Jesus again unto them." Now, notice what Jesus is going to say out of his own mouth. Where to say? Go ahead. "Saying, I am the light of the world." Oh, look at that. He said, "I am what? The light of the world." I am the light of the world. Not talking about the sun. You know, you get up every morning. Matter of fact, you know, we know the sun is outside right now, right? That's what's outside shining right now. That ain't Jesus, though. You know, even though tomorrow, you're gonna have people going around going to church on Sunday, not paying attention to they worshiping the sun god. But that ain't Jesus, sisters and brothers.
What we talk about in this case, he said, "Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world." Right? "I'm the light of the world." What else to say? Go ahead. "He that followeth me shall not walk in darkness." So if you follow this light, or if you follow Jesus, you're not going to walk in darkness, right? But notice what's gonna happen if you follow him. He said, "He that followeth me shall not walk in darkness; but what? But shall have the light of life." Wait a minute. So, so if, if you, if you're following Jesus, you got the light of life. That means if you walk in the darkness, you've got, you got death, right? But that's all we talk about. That's why I say, you know, we born into, we born into the effects or the results of sin, sisters and brothers. We, we need this life by way of Jesus to pull us up out of that.
But Jesus gonna make it plain for you, ain't he? Say, "Look, then Jesus spoke again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world." This is what all of us need. And it's real simple. It just, it's just about obedience. That's it. It's about obedience. We make it hard. It's called Simplicity in Christ for a reason. Second Corinthians, I believe 11, talk about that. It's, it's real simple. We don't have to make this complicated. All you have to do is be obedient to what you read. Thou shall not do it, right? Whatever you say, thou should not obey that. Keep this up. Easy. That's it. That's all you got to do. That's what's gonna bring you into the light. Get in that word. Get them sins up off of you. That's it. It's real. It's real easy. It's not hard at all. We make it hard.
See, we don't put mankind over God. You know, then sometimes we get over the Paul is right and get confused, not understanding what it's talking about, you know? And then we just make excuses on why we can sin. Now, believe it or not, you may say, "Why are you making excuses not to sin?" Look, you make excuses not to sin every time you say, "Well, I can't come to church today." You know, "I got to work on the Sabbath. I got to work on Saturday." You're making it, you're making an excuse. You know the Bible tells you not to eat certain things. "Oh, we can eat. We can eat this." Or, you know, "We can eat. We can eat pig. We can eat catfish. We can do it all. All we gotta do is pray over." You're making an excuse to sin. It ain't worth the lake of fire, though.
But notice what Jesus said. He said, "Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world. He that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life." Let's go over to, uh, Genesis 1. We gonna look at day two. Genesis 1. Genesis 1. We're gonna pick this up on day two, pertaining to heaven. Genesis 1. Pick it up at verse six. Now, go and read that for me.
"And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day."
Okay, so as you go throughout the Book of Genesis, uh, first chapter, you're gonna see, you're gonna see a pattern there. Even in the morning, may today, evening, and morning, may today. So you're gonna see that habit there. That's how God determines a day. It starts off in the evening, you know, like I say, sundown. This evening, that's gonna take us into Sunday. And then tomorrow, in the daytime, it'll still be Sunday, just be Sunday in the daytime, right? Then tomorrow at sundown, that's gonna take us into Monday. Because the evening and the morning is what determines the day for God. Not when the sun goes, not, not at midnight.
But now we're in day two. Got a big body of water, sisters and brothers. And the Lord is about to separate that water. We're gonna see where these bodies of waters are. But we're just looking at the creation and seeing how God set things up. So it's saying, "God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, in the middle of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters." Read seven again.
"And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament." Uh-huh. So just imagine, just imagine there's a big bottle of water, big bottle of water. And the Lord just, uh, split the water in half. One, one body, one body of water go up, other bottle of water come down. And then in between it, at this, at this point right now, we just got airspace in between it, right? We got to put something in that space, though. But he's gonna call that space, or that, or that, or that, or that area that divided the waters, he called it the firmament, right?
It said, "And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so." What else to say? "And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day." But notice what it said. God called the firmament heaven, right? And the evening and the morning were the second day.
So now, let's go to, uh, Psalms 148. Psalms 148. So like you said, he divided the waters. You had a body of water that's down where we are. Matter of fact, you know, you, you see it all over the place, especially when you go out by the sea and all that. Um, you know, bodies of water all over the place. System. But the, the world is, Earth came up out of the water. But still, the world is mainly covered in water systems. And brothers, the Lord just called the dry land to appear. But it's mainly all water. That's why if you dig into the ground, you dig, dig, dig deep enough, you know what you're gonna end up hitting? You're gonna end up hitting water.
So Psalm 148, and verse 1. Psalms 148, and verse 1. That's why you get wells dug in your yard. You get a well put in your yard. You know what's what's down there? You're gonna get water. And that's gonna supply water to your house. You ain't got to worry about city water no more because you don't dug a well. Down. I got a friend of mine that did it. And every time something happened, when I would, I'd be wanting to go over to ask him, man, can you, uh, had him put a well in my yard? But it cost so much money. Now, he got it done some years ago. But Psalm 148, verse 1, because we got to see where that other bottle of water went. Verse 1, read it.
"Praise ye the Lord. Praise ye the Lord from the heavens: praise him in the heights." "Praise him all his angels: praise him all his hosts." "Praising him son and moon: praise ye, praise him all ye stars of light." "Praise him ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heaven."
Okay, so now look at this, right? So I say, "Praise him ye heavens of heavens." So clearly, must be more than one heaven, right? That's why I say, "Praise him ye heavens of heavens." You know, for the most part, we talked about him, we talking, we, we're taught about heaven up above, right? Going to a place like that's where the, that's where the song is going up beyond it to be with my Lord, right? But we never talked about any heaven being held on this Earth, sisters and brothers. Or we never talked about it being more than one heaven. But this is what we read, right? It says, "Praise him the heavens of heavens," and then it says, "and ye waters that be above the heavens." What do you mean by that? Because we saw a firmament that was put in the midst of the waters, right? It was a firmament that was put in the midst of the waters. So when that firmament was there, you know, it split it, it split it in half. You got one water below, and then you got some water, water, uh, what up above. But that firmament is also called Heaven. That's why I said, "Praise ye, uh, praise him ye heavens of heavens," and he, what is that be above the heavens? Saw some water above the heavens. And keep in mind, even on the end of that sentence right there, it says heavens. So you got some water above the heavens, right? What heavens are we talking about? One of them is the firmament. We got to identify that. And there's another heaven that we have to identify also. And there's some water above both of those.
So he said, "Praise ye him all his angels: praise him all his hosts: praise him son and moon: praise him all you stars of light: Praise Him ye heavens of heavens, and ye Waters that be above the heavens." Right? Let's go to Second Corinthians chapter 12. Second Corinthians 12. See, it's all, it should be real simple when it comes to God. But it's a science class. You know, God got it all in his Bible, don't he? Got science, got history, you know, he got poetry, whatever you need. God got it all inside this book, sisters and brothers. But we put, we put man's science over God. You know, that's like saying we, we ascribe to man's wisdom over God's wisdom. You can't do that. He tells you everything. He laid everything out. All you have to do is get in this word and get understanding.
Second Corinthians chapter 12, pick this up at verse one. This is Paul giving us an account of what happened to him on his way to Damascus. There was a time when Paul, before he got converted, you know, he was going through killing those that believed in Jesus because, like I said recently, that was like a, a new doctrine to them, you know? But actually, this doctrine is what they needed, or this gospel is what they needed, or this gospel is going to solidify everything. Yeah, it's good to keep the law, but we still need something else that's gonna top everything off, that's gonna seal everything up. You know, that's just like us. We can keep the law all day. If we don't have Jesus, what's gonna bring us out of this darkness? What's gonna save us from death? In other words, nothing.
So when Jesus came, it's almost like to them being Hebrews, Paul, you know, chief Hebrew in a sense, you know, following the laws and stuff, but at the same time, not really comprehending, understanding that you're gonna have to put Jesus with it. So even though he was, you know, stopping people or coming against people for believing this new doctrine about Jesus dying and saving man, hey, the Lord had to check him one day. And this is when he blinded Paul on the way to Damascus. And this is what he's going back and recalling in Second Corinthians 12. What is saying, verse one? Go ahead.
"It is not expedient for me doubtless to glory. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord. I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago." That's right. That that was around the time, the event when, you know, when it happened to Paul. He said, "I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago." What? "Whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth." Such as one caught up to the third heaven. He said, "What? You know, it wasn't about, I cannot tell whether anybody, I could not tell either. But I cannot tell." In other words, you know, it was Jesus that he saw. But this one, like a flesh and blood, by another word, we're talking about Jesus coming out of heaven. This is an immortal being. That's why I say, "Whether in the body, I cannot tell." Not, not referring to himself having an out-of-body experience. That's not what happened with Paul. He just describing what he saw as best he could. He said, "Whether in the body, I cannot tell. Whether out of the body, I cannot tell. God knoweth of such a one caught up to the third heaven." Wait a minute. Caught him to the third heaven. I thought we just got one heaven, though. Remember, we just read something and said, "Praising him ye waters, uh, that be above the heavens?" Right? But that was with the S on that was plural. Now Paul is talking about a third heaven, right? He says, "Such as one caught up to the third heaven." So that I should let you know, the third heaven is up above us somewhere, right? So we need to find out where the other two are. Now, we're not gonna get more than that. We don't get the fourth heaven, fifth heaven, sixth heaven, seventh heaven. You know, it only stopped at three, sisters and brothers. That's it. That's all the Bible gonna give you. And that's all you need. You don't need no other books to take you off to seven and eight. The Bible don't support it. Then it ain't doctrine. It ain't the gospel.
But now, let's go back to Genesis. Genesis 1. Genesis 1. So we can, let's find out where these other heavens are. Genesis 1. And let's pick this up in verse 14. Genesis 1. And before you read, uh, before you read 14, I want you to read, um, I want you to read verse six again. And then we're gonna skip down to 14. Seven, read six through eight. Then let's get down to 14. All right, go ahead.
"And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament." That's right. So God said, "Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, right?" And we're going to get a name for this firmament. He said, "God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters." That's what this firmament is going to do. It's going to separate this body of water. "And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament." Right? "And it was so." And what did God call this firmament? "And God called the firmament Heaven." And God called the firmament heaven, right? So this heaven is going to divide this body of water. You're gonna have a body of water up above. You're gonna have a body of water down below, right?
So let's see what the Lord is going to put inside this firmament that he calls Heaven. Skip down to verse 14 and read that. What it say, brother?
"And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven." Oh, wait a minute. Verse 14 says, "And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven." To do what? "To divide the day from the night." Oh, to divide the day from the night. What else to say? "And let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years." "And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the Earth." Go ahead. "And it was so."
Okay, so now let's make this simple, right? So we got a firmament, but that's called heaven, right? The Lord's gonna put some lights inside this firmament to give light up, uh, to give light upon the Earth, correct? So without me, without us reading any further, we're going to keep reading now. We're not gonna, we're not gonna shut the Bible and that's it. And I'm gonna just start telling you what we're not doing that. I just want you to think common sense. What light gives light upon Earth in the daytime? The sun, right? What gives light upon Earth in the nighttime? The moon, right? So these lights are sitting where? In the firmament, right? Another name for that firmament is called what? It's called heaven, right? You're ready to see this guy, but it's right above us, right? So above us where the sun and moon is at, that's called heaven, right? Now remember, there's some waters above that heaven. In other words, it's some waters above the sun and the moon. You got some waters above the sun and the moon, and you got some waters down where we are, sisters and brothers. Going to Kiri, what else to say?
"And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day." Okay, this is what we just talked about. He said, "And God made two great lights, the greater light to rule the day." What else to say? "And the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also." How pretty simple though. Pretty simple. We see that all the time, don't we? See that all the time. Go ahead.
"And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the Earth, and to rule over the day and over the night; and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good." Right? So, so in this case, right here, now we talk about physical light, right here. You know, Genesis 1, 1-5, that first day, we weren't talking about physical lights. That was spiritual, sisters and brothers. And, and it makes sense, though. It makes sense that before you can really put the plan into play, you need to have an idea of what you're going to do, right? You got to have, you got to have, you got to have some understanding or need to be some light on what's going to take place and how things gonna be done. Everybody has a plan B, whether you know it or not. But God has some setup in place for mankind. And mankind definitely needed that light because mankind dropped the ball, sisters and brothers. So we can just, all we can do now is just, you know, uh, ask a bunch of questions. How it would have been if, if Adam wouldn't have seen? What would it have been like if Adam wouldn't have did this? Or even when he did this, you know, we could just guess how it would have been. But we do know that we are in this situation now. It didn't already happen. Sin is already here. So therefore, we needed that light. But those are not physical lights, once again. Those are spiritual lights.
So now, in this case, right here, what we're looking at, verses 14-19, we're looking at physical lights in this case. That's the sun and the moon and the stars that give light upon the Earth, sisters and brothers. That came on day four. Finish reading that. What to say?
"And the evening and the morning were the fourth day." They say, "And the evening and the morning were the fourth day." Right? Once again, that's a pattern. But now, let's move over to, uh, Psalms 136. Psalms 136. You want to know about it? It's all in the Bible. Lord, Lord, lay it out there for us, sisters and brothers. Psalms 136, pick it up at verse one. Go and read what else to say. Then skip down the fourth.
"Oh give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever." That's right. Key reading. "To him who alone doeth great wonders: for his mercy endureth for ever." That's right. Go ahead. "To him that by wisdom made the heavens." Wait a minute. Say, "To him that by wisdom did what? Made the heavens." Right? Because can't no man figure this out. Can't no man figure this out, sisters and brothers. He said, "To him that by wisdom made the heavens." Right? What else to say? "For his mercy endureth for ever. To him that stretched out the earth above the waters." Oh, look at that though. He said, "To him that stretched out the earth above the waters." Sisters and brothers, because you will see that you go back and read in Genesis. I don't think, I don't know if we're gonna go into that day. We might. I don't think so. I think it's day five, or am I mistaken? But anyway, one of those cases where you seen the, you know, the Earth came up out, up the dry land came up out of the water, and the Lord called it Earth. And every day we walking around outside, you were walking on the Earth. But that is something that God did way back in the day, what, long thousands of years ago. He put green grass on her. He brought forth the, uh, the trees and stuff like that that he put on this Earth, sisters and brothers. But it says, "To him that by wisdom made the heavens: for his mercy endureth for ever. To him that stretched out the earth above the waters." What else to say? "For his mercy endureth for ever. To him that made great lights." Oh, wait a minute. They say, "To him that did what? Made great lights." Right? We just saw that in Genesis, did we? He made two great lights, greater light to rule the day, lesser light to rule the night. So he said, "To him that made great lights: for his mercy endureth for ever." What else to say? "The sun to rule by day." Oh, this one of those great lights. He said, "The sun to rule by day." Matter of fact, before we, before we even got here, I asked y'all, y'all knew exactly what we was talking about, right? But he say, "Look, the sun to rule by day." What else to say? "For his mercy endureth for ever. And what rules by night?" What'd it say, brother? "The moon and stars to rule by night." Oh, he say, "The moon and stars to rule by night." And it's, and it's, look, it's like clockwork, ain't it? It's like clockwork. That's what we see every day. Every day, you know, for the most part, you know, even if you wake up and it ain't bright outside like like it is now, look, the sun is still up somewhere. But you're seeing how the Lord did this well in the very beginning, sisters and brothers, taking all the guessing out of the picture, letting you know how it was done. "The sun to rule by day: for his mercy endureth for ever. The moon and stars to rule by night: with us for his mercy endureth for ever." Okay.
So now let's go over to, uh, Matthew 24. Matthew 24. Because we still got to identify those other two heavens, right? I mean, well, one of the heavens. The third heaven, like I say, that's, that's up above where the Father and Son reside. The second heaven is where the sun and moon was at. So we got, we got one more heaven that we have to identify. Matthew 24. Matthew 24. And it is through heavens. That's why Paul said it. He said, "Such a one caught up to the third heaven." Right? So if he's saying that, then somewhere in the Bible, it has to back it up. You know, Paul was just making something up, sisters and brothers. But we're gonna see now. We just gotta find one more heaven. We found the second one, like I said, that's where the sun and moon reside. So let's find this first one.
Matthew 24, verse 29. Go and read that for me.
"Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light." That's right. Because they go hand in hand, since then, brothers. You know, but notice what it says. Say, "Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light." After the tribulation, pertaining to a time that's going to come on the world, that's gonna come against first and foremost, God's people and his saints, sisters and brothers. And we cranking up to that time, a lot more closer than it was, you know, 50 years ago, sisters and brothers. Some of the language that's being spoken now, let you know that this time is really winding up. But it's all based on the word. We got to make things up. We ain't got to scare you or nothing like that. Look, just follow the word. He'll show you how things gonna unfold. But he's not gonna come any sooner than the tribulation, sisters and brothers. Great tribulation. That's why I said, "Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and what else? And the moon shall not give her light." "And the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken." That's right. Kiri.
"And then shall appear the sign of the son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and with great glory." Right? So he's not coming any sooner, coming after the tribulation. He's saying, "Then shall appear the sign of the son of man in heaven." And this shall all the tribes of the earth mourn. And they shall see the son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And what's on the Lord's agenda when he get back? Go ahead.
"And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet." That's right. Great sounding return. We talking about the seven trumpets, the last trumpet, sisters and brothers. That's when the Lord is going to do what we're about to read. But he got some troubles that's gonna, you know, that's gonna introduce, uh, highlight a lot of different things that's going to take place. And, you know, that's why we observed the memorial blowing of the trumpets because, you know, we just making sure we stay on point like the Lord commanded us. But at the same time, these different things that the Lord has put in place, you know, it kind of keeps us prepared. Keeps us prepared by having it all consumed in this holy day, showing us everything our highest is going to unfold. But if you're not observing that, you don't know what this is talking about. Because we ain't just talking about one trumpet gonna be blown. It's gonna be seven trumpets that's gonna be blown. And this is the trumpet where the Lord is getting ready to return. The seven trumpets. He said, "He's going to send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet." And they, what? "And they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other."
Oh, but look at this now. He's saying, "They shall gather together his elect." Right? From the four winds. His elect, talking about his people that got scattered throughout the world, sisters and brothers. When the Lord gets back, he's gonna gather his elect. He's gonna gather us. No sooner, though. But he's gonna gather us. But pay attention to where this elect is at. He said, "They shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from what? From one end of heaven." So are we in heaven? Anywhere? We're not in heaven, nowhere are we? We're not sitting off in the, in the clouds somewhere just waiting on God to come get us, is it? Are we? So evidently, he must be talking about something else, which we have to identify. Right? But he said, "They shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven." What else? "To the other."
Okay, so now let's go over to, uh, Isaiah chapter 11. Isaiah 11. Looking at the same type of event, uh, same event, but we're just moving throughout the Old and the New to get clarity on it. Isaiah 11. Isaiah 11. Let's pick this up at verse 11. Notice what's gonna happen. The Lord gets back. Verse 11, read it.
"And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people." Oh, look at that though. It says he's gonna set his hand again to, uh, again the second time to recover the remnant of his people. Why? I got to do it a second time? Because it was done the first time when we came out of Egypt. That was the first time that the Lord got inside of that, got us out of captivity, sisters and brother. But, but during that time, he used Moses. So here it is, thousands of years later, we find ourselves in the same condition, in slavery, in need of deliverance. But it's not going to happen any sooner than what we're reading about. See, when our deliverance comes, it's gonna come at the sound of that great trumpet. But if you got an understanding, you know that that's the seven trumpets, sisters and brothers.
So once again, we looking in the Old Testament, and it's talking about his people being recovered. It said, "It shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people." Which, what shall be left? "From Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Kush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the isles of the sea." That's right. Because we all over the world, ain't we? And we need to be gathered from all over the world. But we're not just in America, we're not just in, you know, South America, Haiti, Jamaica. Look, we all over the place. And we all over the African continent as well, sisters and brothers. So we need to be delivered from all over the world. So it's gonna come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, Pathros, and from Kush, and from Elam, from Shinar, from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea. Which covers us because we got sent about it. They sent off in the worldwide captivity by where? Ship, sisters and brothers. And we still here. What else to say? Go ahead.
"And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel." Wait a minute. Look at that. He's going to set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, right? And do what? "And gather together the dispersed of Judah." Oh, look at that. He's gonna, look, uh, uh, Israel, outcasts of Israel. That's a part of the 12 tribes. Like I said last week, they ended up splitting. One part of them was called Israel, the other part was called Judah. But he's gonna bring all 12 back together. But all of us are scattered, sisters and brothers. That's why he said, says, "Some of the outcasts of Israel," and gather together the dispersed of Judah from where? "From the four corners of the earth." Oh, but we saw Matthew 24, from the four winds of heaven, right? So now he's saying the four corners of the earth. Why? Because heaven, another place, another name for Earth is called Heaven, sisters and brothers. That's the first one. It started off with here. First being where we are right now. This is the heaven. And then above us where the sun and moon reside, that's another heaven. And then you got a bottle of water up above the sun and moon. Well, I don't know if we can see it or not, but it's above us. Then on the other side of that body of water, guess who up there? That's the Father and the Son. That's
The third heaven. You ain't good. You're not going up there. That's why we pray, "Thy kingdom come," because the Father's gonna bring that heaven down to this earth, sisters and brothers. But that's your three Heavens right there. That's what Paul was talking. "I say such a one caught up to the third heaven." That's what Jesus did after he died and got it from the grave. In Acts 1, he ascended on up, didn't he? He didn't get, he didn't stop in the clouds somewhere. That's okay, we'll see him up there looking at us. But that's why the Bible's talking about in Revelation six, "The sky gonna roll back." You know, and then you're gonna see the Lamb on the throne, sitting, sitting there looking. But it's gonna be once that sky rolled back, sisters and brothers. God known. God, you know what is known to us as. But when he opened it up, we're gonna see him sitting on the other side.
But now, let's move a little further. Let's go over to, uh, that we're not gonna look at day five. Y'all can re-do that for homework. We're gonna get down to day six, bringing man into the picture. Day six, when God made man. So let's pick this up at Genesis 1.
[Applause]
Genesis 1, and let's pick this up at, uh, verse 24. Genesis 1 and verse 24. Go and read that for me. "And God said, Let the Earth bring forth the living creature after his kind; uh-huh, cattle, and creeping thing, and the beast of the earth after his kind." Okay, go ahead. "And it was so. And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and the cattle after their kind, and everything that creepeth upon the earth after his kind. And God saw that it was good." That's right. Keep reading. "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth." That's right.
So you're saying, what's happening? This is day six, and we're saying what's happening. The Lord is making cattle. That's why I said in verse 24, "God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind; cattle, creeping things." So you have the different, uh, livestock and animals that came forth on this day. He said, "a creeping thing to be southern after his kind. And it was so. And God made the beast of the earth to have this kind, cat after their kind, um, everything that creep upon there after this kind. God started it. It was good." Then in verse 26, he made man, right? So he said, "uh, verse 26, And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, what else? And over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth." That's right.
Because now mankind is in the picture, and everything that God had created is mainly for man now. But he, I kind of set everything up before we even came. It's almost like, look, the house is already being prepared, you know, refrigerator stocked, everything you need is already there. All you done, look, you just live in the house and don't mess nothing up. Can you do that? So he said, "Let us make man in our image, right? After our likeness." Then in verse 27, where to say, "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them." That's right. Go ahead. "And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth." That's right.
So the Lord put man in charge of everything, didn't he? As far as, like I say, you know, it's, it's like this is a practicing ground for us, you know? Practicing ground. Because definitely now, because later on down the line, we trying to become God, right? So it's a practicing ground in every way possible. You overcoming temptation, you know, we're ruling over things, you being able to pass certain tests that Satan throws you away. It's just practicing ground all over the place. But just look at right here, he put everything up on us, didn't he? So God, he said, "God blessed him and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth." You know, sometimes we would, uh, you know, kind of look into that replenish, not, not saying what it was, but maybe it just seemed like something might have been here before us where the earth had to be replenished, right? Something might have been here. We don't know. Um, but Satan did get cast out, and you know, like lightning that fell toward heavens. But sometimes, I mean, back in the day, we'll say it could have been dinosaurs that was here, you know? It is, uh, based on artifacts, they do say it was dinosaurs. He had some time. So maybe Satan got cast out, and that's how they got wiped out. I don't know. But it does say replenish, right? So it's a, "Be fruitful, and multiply, replenish the earth, and subdue it." He's gonna say the same thing, I think, after, uh, afternoon come up out of the ark. He told them the same thing, didn't he? Because at that point, he had destroyed the world by, well, water. Then he told them to be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth. But you see in the first here, so I don't know what was before this time, though. You know, once again, we can just, we can just, a lot of variables and guessing and stuff, that's all.
And what else to say? "And have dominion over the fish of the sea, uh-huh, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth." That's right. So God gave man power of everything, didn't he? As far as beetles and, I mean, her beetles, beasts, I'm sorry, you know, beasts and stuff like that, fires up there, he gave us dominion over all of that, didn't he? They don't rule over us. What else to say? Go ahead. "And God said, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree in which is the fruit of the tree yielding seed: to you it shall be for meat." Right.
So now, now we're living in a different time now. And I say that because, so, so during this time, this is where, you know, the Lord gave us vegetables to eat, right? Now, I just think everybody was eating this, even animals. That's why he's saying, "29, He said, God said, Behold, I've given you every herb bearing seed, which is the point of face of all the earth, and every tree in the, uh, in the which is the fruit of a tree of the sea: to you it shall be for meat." That's what we will eat during that time, vegetables, right? Then he says, "And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to everything that creepeth upon the earth, where and there is life, I've given every green herb for meat. And it was so."
But, but during that time, so we want to eat meat back then, sisters and brothers? You know why? First and foremost, God gave this to us. He gave us the vegetables and trees, you know, stuff off of that. That was our meat. But it wasn't no death on the table either, you know what I'm saying? Like, in order for you to, you would have to, in order for you to eat chicken at this time, you got to kill something, you know? Some blood, blood got to be, uh, you know, some gotta die. So you're gonna see later on down the line, once the Lord destroyed the world with water by way of Noah, sisters and brothers, during, you know, during the event that happened with Noah, when you read that, you'll see that afterwards, I think Genesis 9, then that's when the Lord put meat on the table. That's when he put, you know, animals on the table for me. You know, and I think in Genesis 7, when he told him to take, you know, uh, seven other clean and two unclean, right? You know, so he did that. And we see why now. And then later on down the line, Leviticus chapter 11, he laid out there the clean beasts that we can eat and the unclean beasts that we supposed to stay away from. But taking it all the way back to the very beginning, look what mankind was eating, sisters and brothers. So I say, look, in verse 30, "I've given every green herb for meat. And it was so." What is saying? "31, And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day." Uh-huh.
Let's go right into seven. He said, "And the evening and the morning were the sixth day." So when did mankind, what day was mankind created? Six day. Six, right? And we're not talking about a literal 24-hour time period when it comes to God and His creation, sisters and brothers. A day to the Lord is what? A thousand years. A thousand years, sisters and brothers. That's why when Jesus gets back and sets his kingdom up on this earth, that's gonna be the seventh day for man, and that's gonna be, guess what? A day of rest. A thousand years of peace. But you practicing that every, every Saturday, and you come to church and you shut down Friday night at sundown and Saturday sundown, you were practicing what God is getting ready to bring to this earth system. Brothers, it's gonna be a thousand years of peace. He's showing you this every week. Every week we do a repetition, right? But he just showing us what he gonna do, how he gonna set everything up on this earth.
But Genesis 2, let's keep going. Pick it up at verse, uh, seven. I mean, verse one. Go and read it. "Thus the heavens and the earth were finished." I said, "Now he all done, right?" He said, "Thus the heavens and the earth were finished." What else to say? "And all the hosts of them. And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made: and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made." That's right.
But look, Jesus, like I said, he's immortal. Bible tells you he don't sleep nor slumber. But so, so the rest really ain't for him. It's just an example for us, sisters and brothers. Like, if anybody needs some rest, we do. We just, so ignore, we don't even know it. We try to go seven days a week, working 24/7. That's fools. That don't make sense. Some people say, I heard Jay-Z say one time, you know, he'll work while he'll rest when he died. That's dumb. Who like working? Raise your hand. I mean, some of y'all might. I hate working. I don't care if I work for myself, I hate working. If I can just live and, uh, if I could just get on a boat and just ride and fly all over the world and ain't gotta work, I would rather do that. But it's for us, sisters and brothers. He said, "Look, on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made: and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made." What's to say? "And God blessed the seventh day, and God blessed the first day, Sunday." Seventh day. He blessed the seventh day, right? He's saying, "God blessed the seventh day." Keep reading. "And sanctified it." Oh, so he didn't sanctify tomorrow. He sanctified what day? Seven. The seventh day, sisters and brothers. "And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made." Uh-huh.
Let's skip down to verse seven because now let's see what happened with man. We got to bring him into the picture. But now the Lord is done. He done. He rested on the seventh day from his work, right? And look, we gonna rest for my work on the seventh day also. That's why we're not going to any jobs today. We're not doing no work. We ain't doing no cooking. We ain't doing none of that. We ain't washing clothes, washing cars. We ain't doing none of that. We resting on the seventh day for my work, right? You got six days to take care of all of that. But skip down to verse seven to read that. What to say, brother? "And the Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground." Okay, so it's not a, it's not another or a separate creation. Now, what we doing is, now we just going to Genesis chapter two. And the, uh, I guess, you know, the subject here would be mankind. So what the Lord is about to do, he's going to give us some details on what happened when he created this man on day six. So that's all that's happening. We, he just reverting back now. He's going to break down to Moses what happened with this man on day number six. It ain't a separate creation, but it's like, but, but let me tell you what happened. I know, I, I know I broke it down to you in Genesis 1 through 26. Genesis chapter 1 verses 1 through 26. I know I told you everything I done, I did. But let me tell you what happened with this man though. So in Genesis 2, he finna start highlighting it. He's gonna start breaking it down pertaining to man. Why? Because this is what's important. We trying to figure out how did man get in this situation, sisters and brothers? How do we end up? How did we end up with a, with a life sentence of death on top of, on top of us? How? So now we finna see what happened. So it's saying, "What verse seven?" Go ahead. "And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul." That's right.
Cause you are the soul, right? He said, "God, uh, he say, uh, the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground. We didn't come from heaven. We can't, uh, you know, up up above. We came from the dirt, right?" He said, "And Lord God, uh, formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils, what? The breath of life." The breath of life. And what happened with this man? "And man became a living soul." And man became a living soul. You are the soul, sisters and brothers. If you die, you're dead. So, but you are the soul. Body, soul, winning the same. So, "man became a living soul." Keep reading. "And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed. And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight." So inside his garden, right? He planted a garden with Eastman in Eden. He put the man inside the garden which had formed. And notice what it says here: "And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food." What else to say? "The tree of life also in the midst of the garden." Wait a minute. He said, "the tree of life." This is gonna take you outside of your regular trees, you know, your regular fruit trees and stuff like that, where you get to where you get your food from and stuff, or just a, a normal tree in general. This is gonna, this is gonna be something separate. Outside. It's a tree, but it's not a physical tree. So I say, "the tree of life also in the midst of the garden." What else to say? "And the tree of knowledge of good and evil." Uh-huh. And that was in the garden as well, right? He's saying, "the tree of knowledge of good and evil." So just in the name alone, you know, you think, well, nowadays, if you have these trees set in front of you, right? Who wants to be a part of a tree or who wants to deal with a tree that's called good and evil? You know what I'm saying? Oh, you got a tree of life sitting over here. Which one you want? You're gonna, I'm gonna gravitate, I mean, just common sense, I'm gonna gravitate toward a tree of life, especially if I want to live. So I'ma gravitate toward the tree of life. I'm not, look, I'ma stay away from that tree of knowledge of good and evil. But mankind, for some reason, it's just, it's just like we just have to, we gotta test the waters. We have to test the waters because the Lord let us know, you know, he give us a way, give us a way out. He give us a way back to life, sisters and brothers. But we just don't want it. We still want to eat from that tree of knowledge of good and evil. But what verse we at? "16." Go and read that for me. "And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat." Oh, look at that. He say, "If every tree of the garden, thou mayest freely eat." What else to say? "But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die."
But he's telling us, he tells, look, look, we are learning the result of our disobedience right now. He fought, before, before mankind even get a good start, the Lord is letting us know what's gonna be the outcome of our disobedience, right? He let him know. He said, "Look, verse 16, The Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat." That, that includes the Tree of Life. So we can eat all these trees, it's gonna be given for meat. And then on top of that, we can eat the Tree of Life too. So if you eat, if you eat from the Tree of Life, you know, I mean, you, look, just keep eating from that, you're gonna keep on living. But God didn't forbid that tree, did he? Only one tree he forbade. And he said, "Look, but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat it, for in the day that thou eat thereof thou shalt surely die." But we're not talking about physical trees, once again. It's spiritual. It's spiritual. Taking you back to that light, taking you back to that darkness. You can follow the light, or you can walk in darkness. It's up to you. It's your choice. And all of us had to make a choice. By you being here today, you, you leaning more toward the choice of life, sisters and brothers. And the reason why I say you leaning, because you got to finish the process. Book let you know, you ain't, you know, those didn't do it until the end shall be, what? That's right. So you got to do it to the end.
But now, let's go. Do we keep reading? "18." All right, go ahead. "And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone." Right. We have to, we gotta let y'all know what happened. He went to the Adam by himself now. But we're gonna let you know. It said, "uh, the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone." Right? What else to say? "I will make him an help meet for him." Right. So, and this is what Eve gonna come into the picture. Lord gonna make a help meet for him, sisters and brothers. You know, he said, "Ain't good for man to be alone." That's why I understand situations with folks who, who single, you know, sometimes life can be tough, because taking all the way back to the beginning, he said, "It ain't good for man to be alone." Right? But hey, with all that you have and doing to the end, sisters and brothers, and to the Lord send somebody your way, righteous, that is.
But now, let's move over to, uh, Genesis 3. Genesis 3. He told him now, "Today you eat from the Tree of Dollars is good enough, you said surely die, right?" So keep in mind, who was around? Who was around from the very beginning? Remember, Satan got cast out, right? Another name for Satan, he called that old serpent, the devil, and Satan, which does what? Which deceived the whole world. So now mankind is in the picture, and guess what? Who else is in the picture? Satan gonna be there too. Genesis 3. Let's pick this up in verse 4. And the one he gonna go for, he gonna go for the woman, the help meet. Genesis 3, and pick it up at verse 4. What to say? "And the serpent said unto the woman, uh-huh, Ye shall not surely die."
Wait a minute now. Now the Lord say, "The day you eat from the tree, now it's good, what's gonna happen? You're gonna die, right?" But Satan turned around and said, "You shall not surely die." Cause when you die, your body going to the grave, but your spirit going to be with God. And that's what they say today in churches. You ain't really dead. That's how you know the world is eating from that same tree. The Lord said, "You surely gonna die." He didn't leave no guessing in it, no maybe, none of that. Say, "Say, you shall not surely die." What else to say? "For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil." That's right.
But it's Satan talking to her. Satan telling her, "You ain't gonna surely die. The day you eat from this tree, look, your eyes gonna be open, you gonna be as gods, knowing good and evil." That's absolutely true. That's what's gonna happen. But if God would have wanted them to know that, he would have told him right then and there, right? Maybe you don't need to know good and evil. You know how we talk about opening up Pandora's Box? Maybe you don't need to know. You know, you start digging, next thing you know, you keep on digging, and now you done got sucked into it. That's why you got to be careful dealing with all these other books. You'll be dealing with Jesus, and be careful what you're eating too. Eating off these other tables, you know, eating off these other camps that don't believe in Jesus. You, you're dealing with Jesus one minute, next minute you, you confused about the name of Jesus. What happened? You start eating from another table. But he said, "For God of knowing the day that she's there, then you shall be as gods, or then your eyes shall be opened, you shall be as gods, knowing good and evil." Right? What else to say? Go ahead. "And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, uh-huh, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat."
Right. So we're not, but once again, we're not talking about a physical tree. See, what, what we got to understand is, and I said several times, but right now, you, you in church eating. Well, what you eating from? You eating from the Tree of Life, sisters and brothers. Not that I'm the Tree of Life, but what are we doing? We reading out of God's word, right? That's the word of God. This word of God is what's gonna give you life, sisters and brothers. But if you eating other doctrines or other beliefs and stuff like that, now you're eating from the Tree of Knowledge and Good and Evil. Celebrating Christmas, knowledge of good and evil. Easter, that's the knowledge of good and evil, sister. That's another God. God said, "Don't have no other gods before me." Right? "I'm a jealous God." But yet still, mainly everybody in the world is observing or worshiping another God, cause you eating from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. Not physically, spiritually, eat with your mind.
So in verse six, you say, "When the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant, uh, pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise." There's no tree out here that you can go to. You can't go to a tree and pick up wisdom off of it physically. That right there should let you know it's taking us out of the realm of that tree to be designed to make one wise. She did what? "She took of the fruit thereof, and did eat." Right? Because it sounds good to her. When she's sitting talking to her, you know, what you're saying is, that sounds pretty good. Tell me more. Now she's sitting down, now she's sitting partaking, having this conversation with Satan. Going to read what else to say. "And gave also unto her husband with her, uh-huh, and he did eat."
Now she didn't take it back to Adam, and he didn't rebuke it. He done sat there and started conversating with it too. For real, girl? What does he saying? Oh, that right there? For that, this? I'm just saying, I don't know what they were talking about. I'm just saying, we do know later on today in the day, they to cover themselves up with fig leaves. Now, what didn't happen? You didn't found out something you weren't supposed to find out. What else to say? Go ahead. Go down the team. Skip where you at? "10." Yeah. All right, go ahead. "And I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked."
That's right. Because the Lord come through looking for him now. Lord coming through to God looking for him now. And they don't, I don't know, ran to hear themselves because he, he know he naked now. And the Lord said, "Matter of fact," he said, "verse 10, He said, He said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked." And I hid myself. What else to say? Go ahead. "And he said, uh-huh, Who told thee that thou wast naked?" No, this is what the Lord said to him. He said, "Who told you?" Like, in other words, who have you been talking to? Who you've been listening to? Who told you you was making? Not to say they weren't going to be replenishing anyway, but now something I've been removed off their eyes that got them feeling the same now. See, that's what sinner do. It'll pull you further from your God, sisters and brothers. And because Adam's sin, now look, mankind and got kicked out of the garden. So we got to work our way back to the Tree of Life. Since that's what Revelation 22 and 14 is about, "Keeping the, uh, commandments of God, that we may have a right to enter into the Tree of Life." So he said, "In verse 11, Who told you that I was making?" How's that? "Hast thou eaten of the tree whereof I commanded thee, that thou shouldest not eat?"
That's right. Have you eaten of that tree that I commanded you not to eat from? The Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. Have you ate from that tree? What else to say? Yeah. Skip down to "17." Because now the Lord gonna pass out the punishment to him. Like I said, we're not gonna read all that. You can go back and read it on your own, fill in the gaps. But for the sake of time, we just skipping around. But now the Lord is getting ready to pass out punishment because of man's disobedience. So verse 17, what to say? We're not gonna look at Eve. Eve, you know, for the most part, you can see what happened with her. He gonna, you know, when it comes to birth pains, he's gonna multiply her song, you know, and now her husband, he gonna rule over her. Now her desire gonna be to to her husband. "He shall rule over thee." That's a part of that's a part of, you know, the recompense that's gonna be poured out on her because of her disobedience. But let's look at the ultimate one, because the man is the one that should have stopped this. And because of man, because of what Adam did, hey, this is gonna cover everybody, women, children, and men alike. Verse 17, what to say, brother? "And unto Adam he said, uh-huh, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake." That's right. Go ahead. "In sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life."
Now look at what the Lord told me. He said, "Cursed is the ground for your sake, right? He's saying, sorrow shall I eat it, but all the days of thy life." And that's how it is in life, ain't it? You know, we get a little, we get a little breathing room, especially when you come into the world. Get a little breathing room. You know, God makes things a whole lot better. You just got to be consistent so you can see the change, you know? But for the most part, mankind alone, look, we just struggling life. That's just how life is. And then when you do get a break, they call it retirement. You ain't got that much time. You know, and then, then people retire, they be scared to retire, you know? You know the conversations, uh, you know, people have when they retire. Well, I gotta get a job somewhere because, you know, I don't want to start, uh, sitting around too long because my body gonna start locking up. Then my body started locking up. I heard a guy telling me a few weeks ago, you know, he told me he was retired. He's like, "But I gotta do something, man." He said, "Couple my friends, they stopped working, they dead now." I said, "Yeah, you might want to keep on moving, bro. Do something. Greet somebody at Walmart. How you doing?" Just stay at the door. But I'm just saying, look, what happened at retirement? Right? That's, that's the money. You ain't got much longer. He said, "Look, what verse we at?" "18." "Well, in the 17, you say, uh, cursed is the ground for thy sake, and sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life." Really ain't getting no break because Adam has sinned now. And all of us that come out of man, hey, we are all subject to this now. Going to be. What else to say, brother? "Thorns also and thistle shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field." That's right. Keep reading. "In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread." That's right. We got to work for it. Not only that, that's why I say, you don't work, you don't eat. But you got to work now. He said, "In the sweat of your face, thou shall eat bread." It's gonna be labor involved now, as opposed to how God had everything set up. And believe it or not, we trying to get back to how God had everything set up. But right now, we just in, you know, we just, we stuck between a rock and a hard place now, sisters and brothers. Like they say, we got one foot in a hole and other in a banana peel. No way to win until Jesus came to bring us out of this. "Thorns also and thistle shall it bring forth." "18." "And thou shalt eat the herb of the field." And the sweat of thy face, I eat bread, till when? "Till thou return unto the ground." That's right. Until you return unto heaven, the ground, right? So you ain't going up to heaven, right? Where you going when you die? The ground going to the ground, says. But look though, that ain't, that's not the end of it. Even in the ground, you consider sleeping because you're gonna get up from the grave. That's why you make the right decisions now, sisters and brothers. So they say, "Look, in the sweat of thy face shall I eat bread, till thou return unto the ground." Go out and read for "out of it was thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return." That's right.
So you don't see nobody, uh, you don't see nobody taking the limousines and hearses, do you? You don't see them driving, uh, you know, there is no, no road that's going up to heaven. Nowhere. It'd be a line of cars going to a graveyard, ain't it? And then when they get to the graveyard, they're gonna take that body out of that car, out of that hearse, and they're gonna put it right there over that six-foot hole, that's right there. And they're gonna crank that person down into that hole. Nowadays, they, they kind of slick now. They go ahead and dismiss and tell y'all to go ahead on so you can't see us lower that body down there. But you're not getting out of what God is putting on. We showing you the creation, but also at the same time, we showing you what happened that messed things up, sister brother, which is why we needed that light to come in. Because if the light never came, we ain't got no way out of this. We ain't got no way out of this. It's just life gonna keep on going. Life's gonna keep going. We're gonna keep having babies, producing. They're gonna keep getting old and dying. Old and die. Holding down. No, I got it. Got to be something more than this now. Okay? This just can't, this can't just be the end of mankind. And it's not, sisters and brothers. Going to keep reading. What else to say? "And the Lord God said, Behold, the man has become as one of us to know good and evil." And now let us put forth. "And now in verse 22, y'all, I'm sorry. Lord God said, Behold, the man has become as one of us, and no good even. Now, what else? He put forth his hand and take also of the tree of life, and eat and live forever."
That's right. The Lord's shutting that down, right? Like, in other words, "the man has become as one of us to know good and evil," is what the Lord is saying. So we're gonna have to get him out of here now. Because you're not gonna be able to eat from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil and from the Tree of Life. So the Lord gonna put him up, get him out the garden. Go and read what else to say. "Okay, okay. Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the Garden of Eden to till the ground from which he was taken."
All right. So he kicked him out of the garden, sisters and brothers. But look, the same thing that went on with Adam, the same thing is what's going on with us today. Like, the same choices. You can't eat from the Tree of Life and eat from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. You can't. You can't do it. You can only eat from one tree. And I suggest you eat from the Tree of Life. See, sometimes we, we think we can, you know, partake in the Eve and all the wicked deeds that are going on in the world without no, without no repercussions. There is going to be repercussions, sisters and brothers. It's just that now God has given all of us an opportunity. You know, all of us has made some mistakes and messed around and did things we shouldn't have done before we came into the word. But now you've seen the Lord's grace. Now we can actually, we, we are living in His mercy that He allowed us to come into His truth, sisters and brothers. But that invitation is on the table for everybody. You see, with Adam, Adam messed up. The Lord said he got to get up out of there. You ain't gonna be able to eat from both tables now. So now we are going throughout this whole process to get back to the Tree of Life. And it's gonna start by you being obedient to God's commandments.
Let's move a little further. First Corinthians 15. 24. Yeah. Go and read that. Go ahead. "So he drove out the man, and he placed at the east of the Garden of Eden cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life." That's right. Because that's the only way you're gonna get by. But Lord got the main just protecting. That's what the cherubim is. But the only way you're gonna get back to this Tree of Life, you're gonna have to keep God's word. It's that simple. First Corinthians 15. Verse 22. First Corinthians 15, verse 22. First Corinthians 15, verse 22. When you get that, go and read that. From what to say, brother? "For as in Adam all die." Look at that. Now say, "For as in Adam all die." Right? Because of what Adam did, death has been put on all mankind. "For as in Adam all die." What to say? "Even so in Christ shall all be made alive." Oh, it's an "even so in Christ shall all be made alive." Right? So, in other words, look, the, the after-effects of Adam's sin, we are suffering that, right? We're, we're in bondage to that. And we're in bondage to that now. Jesus came and guess what? He didn't put life back on the table. So it's coming. I know we may think, well, we still dying. We still dying. We want a life fair. It's coming. It's coming. Be patient. Because we're talking about, you know, living in this life on average 70 years compared to eternal. Be patient. This ain't nothing. This ain't nothing but a, this, you know, this is a bump in the road compared to everlasting life that's coming. He said, "For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive." What else to say? "Well, every man in his own order." But "every man in his own order." Right? So it has to be done in order. Who's first? What is it? Christ the first fruit. Uh-huh. "Christ the first fruit: afterwards they that are Christ at his coming." Oh, look at that. So we gotta highlight that too and say, "Christ the first fruits." Right? Afterwards, they that are Christ at his coming. Like, in other words, when the Lord returns, he got some more first fruits that's gonna partake in, uh, partaking it. It's partake in the very same thing that Jesus partook in. He died and got it from the grave. Now he's the first fruit.
Let's go move a little friend. Let's look at that. Let's go over to, uh, Colossians 1. Colossians 1. Colossians 1. We're gonna pick this up at verse 12. Colossians 1 and verse 12. Paul writes a letter to those that collage. You can read it on your own. What is saying? Verse 12 though. Go ahead. "Giving thanks unto the Father which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear son." That's right. Because that's what Jesus came and did, right? That's why all over the Bible, you're gonna see darkness for the most part being equated with sin, light being equated with Jesus. Notice what it said. Notice what Paul is saying: "Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, right? And hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear son." That's that light going. Aretha. "In whom we have redemption through his blood." So we got redemption, or redeem being to be set free. We have redemption through his blood. What else to say? "Even the forgiveness of sins." Go and skip down to verse 18 and read that. "And he is the head of the body." Talking about Jesus. "So he is the head of the body, what? The church." That's right. Because it all starts with him, sisters and brothers. If you ain't got Jesus at the forefront of the church, you might be in the false church. And we're not just talking about you calling on Jesus. We're talking about you actually being obedient to to that love that so many people have a problem with. So he said, "He is the head of the body the church: who is what? The beginning." Uh-huh. "The firstborn from the dead." Oh, that's what I mean by the first fruit. "Who is the beginning, the what? The firstborn from the dead." The firstborn from the dead, sisters and brothers. That's why Christ is the first fruit. Then you got some others that is coming that's gonna be a different kind of first fruit. Like Jesus, you know, was a God in the beginning, took on the form of man to die for the sins of man, went down into the grave, got up after three days. He's the first one to ever do something like that. Firstborn from the dead. Now you got some others that's gonna come from mankind, not from heaven, that came out of the dirt, that was made from dirt, that's gonna live this life, gonna serve the Lord, that's gonna die. And when the Lord returns, guess what? They gonna get up from the grave with life. That's another kind of first fruit. But that's not gonna take place until the Lord get back. But what we doing? We investing right now. We doing things now so we can be worthy to be called up from the grave when the Lord returns, sisters and brothers. Some of us may die, some of us may be alive to see the Lord return. But it said, "He is the head of the body the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead." What else to say? "That in all things he might have the preeminence."
But now let's move a little further. Let's go over to, uh, First Thessalonians 4. We're almost done. First Thessalonians 4. Remember you said afterwards, "they that are Christ at his coming, right?" So now we just kind of narrowing it down, kind of tying it all together. Jesus then I already went into the grave and got up. He's the firstborn from the dead. That's why it's important for you to understand, you can't do anything in this life and just think that you don't have to answer for it, sisters and brothers. When you go into the grave, you are just sleeping. And the Lord is so practical that every night you go to bed, you wake up in the morning, sisters and brother, just showing you, just just showing you how it's gonna be. That's why another place say, "Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning." Sisters, bro, that's when, that's when it's gonna be a whole lot different than what it is now. First Thessalonians 4, pick it up at verse 13. What it say? "But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, uh-huh, concerning them which are asleep." Go ahead. "That ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope."
But notice what it's called, right? It's called sleeping. He said, "But I would not have you be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope." In this case right here, we talk about those that have died. Look, you ain't got to carry on. You ain't got to, you know, uh, look at somebody dying or going to sleep like everybody else looks at it. Because see, we banking on the saints getting up from the grave. Why? Because we following God's word. So we banking on them getting up. That's what Paul say. You ain't got to, you ain't got to lose it like everybody else. "I would not have you be angry, brother, and concerned, and then with y'all sleep, that you sorrow not, even as others which have no hope." See, most for the most part, people in the world, when they look at somebody dying, it's like, hey, we never gonna see them again. We never gonna see him again. You know, they cry. Look, we cry as well, but like I say, we, we cry with hope, hoping to see that person again. Why? Because we believe in the resurrection. Go ahead. "And we, what else to say?" "For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again." Look at this now. He's saying, "For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again." What? "Even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him."
That's right. That's why you don't got, that's why I say, don't, uh, sorrow not, even as others have no hope. Because if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and that's what, that's the talk of the town, right? That's the talk of of of Jesus in this life. That everybody talks about Jesus. Everybody know for the most part that Jesus died, went down the grave three days and three nights, and got up. How many people believe it? I don't know. Because your belief is gonna be backed by work. It's that simple. If you believe Jesus died and rose from the grave, then you're gonna obey his word. Why? Because you're gonna be looking forward to getting the same result. So he said, "For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him." What else to say?
What else to say for this? We say unto you the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord, that's right, shall not prevent them which are asleep. That's right. Because some people gonna be here, right? Some people are not. Uh, you know, some people are not gonna die. You know, we, we're living in a time now that, you know, even if the older folks pass away, you're gonna have some children that's going to be alive to see it. Because we're not too far away from the Lord returning, based on the signs and the city and the time, you can see it, sisters and brothers. Things are starting to line up. But they say for this, we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which, uh, sleep, right?
What else to say? For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, and with the voice of the Archangel, and with the Trump of God. That's right. What Trump are we talking about? We're talking about the seven Trump. The same Trump that's going to be blown, that's gonna, that that's gonna be, uh, used to signify the Gathering of his elect that are all over the world that's scattered out to the Four Winds in heaven. A lot of stuff gonna be going on when the seven trumpet is blown. Even the dead getting up. For the Lord himself said, this shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the Archangel, and with the Trump of God, and the dead in Christ shall rise first.
What else to say? Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so shall we ever be with the Lord. But that's what it was talking about in First Corinthians. This is the same, right? To Paul, Christ the first fruits, then they died out of Christ at his coming, right? But this is when he's coming after seven Trump, and then that's when he gonna have another set of first fruits get up, sisters and brothers.
But now, let's move over to Hebrews 4. Hebrews 4. Almost done. Hebrews 4. Pick this up at verse one. Go and read that. Let us therefore fear, lest a promise being left us of entering to his rest. Uh-huh. And if you should seem to come short of it. That's right. He said, look, let us, let us therefore fulfill. Why? Because you had, you had some people, you had our forefathers that came out of Egypt, sisters and brothers. Lord delivered them, brought them out of captivity. They got right into the Wilderness, and a lot of them got killed off because they made the Lord upset. In Psalms 95, the Lord swore in his wrath, they should not enter into his rest. Not saying that they're not going to get into the Father's Kingdom. He just said they're not going into his rest, like when Jesus get back. It's going to be a thousand years of peace with those ones that got killed off in the wilderness, made the Lord upset. They're not gonna, they're not gonna be in that thousand years of peace. So the warning is to us also. Be careful. Don't you do the same thing. That's why it says, let us therefore fear, lest the promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it, right?
Going to read. What else to say? For unto us was the Gospel preached as well as unto them. But the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with with faith in them that heard it. That's right. He said, look, just like the Gospel is preached unto us, the difference is they didn't, they didn't mix it with faith, right? That's very key. But the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
Verse 9. Going to read that. There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. Look, though he said there remain therefore a rest to the people of God, right? But you saw Wade in Genesis, you know, like I say, it was a possibility we could have just went and went off into that rest and chill with the Lord. But we see that we messed up, right? So now we gotta, we don't. From the day that mankind came to the picture, it's been six thousand years. We're getting ready to end it to the seventh day. And you better hope you're doing everything that you can to make it, sisters and brothers. That's why Sarah said, there remained therefore a rest to the people of God, right? You know that rest, that the rest that we're talking about, it wasn't the rest that was given to them when they walked into the Promised Land by where Joshua. That wasn't it, right? There's another rest that's coming later on down the line that the Bible's referring to. That's why I said, there remain therefore a rest to the people of God.
What else to say? For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. That's right. We're just doing, just like he did, right? It's almost like, in other words, you are already receiving enough. You already, you already done. You know, you don't already saw it. You didn't already, you know, you're preparing yourself, in other words, by doing the things necessary for what's coming later on down the line. You know, you, I don't have to wait to to see the thousand years of peace come for me to start doing things to line up with what I believe. I'mma start doing it now. I'm gonna start keeping the Sabbath now. I'ma start being obedient to his law now. Why? Because I can already, I already received it. I already believe that it's gonna happen. So that's why it says here, for he that is entered into his rest, he hath also ceased from his own works, as God did his, right? And that's another thing. We do on a Saturday. We see some of my own works, right? We see some of my own works. But you know, it takes some work to get the church up and running. Brothers in there got it early, setting the sound up. That's some work, right? But that ain't work for that in our homework, is it? That's for the Lord. Took you some work to get up and get dressed and get to church, didn't it? Some of y'all got kids. That look, that's work. But it's not your own work.
So what do you say at verse 11? Let us labor therefore to enter into that rest. Oh, you gotta do some work, right? He said, let us labor. You gotta work. You gotta keep yourself together. To keep yourself in line. He said, let us therefore labor to enter into that rest. We're trying to enter into that rest, sisters and brothers. But it was shown to us from the very beginning. Let us labor therefore to enter into that rest.
What else to say? Lest any man fall after the same example. That's right. From belief. Hey, you, you don't want to fall now. You got this example. He said, lest any of us should fall after the same. Lets any man fall after the same example of unbelievable. Hebrews chapter 3 will go a little more in depth and tell you what happened. But the point is, you don't wanna mess around and make the same mistake. But once again, we're trying to get into that rest also. But the Lord laid it out from the very beginning.
But now, let's move a little further. Let's go over to, uh, uh, Psalms 1. Psalms 8. Just like the Lord rested. Lord got a dead rest set up for man. But we ain't got there yet, have we? But it's coming. All you're doing is by being obedient to his word, resting from your own works on the Sabbath, and doing what the Lord tells you to do, you're preparing yourself. We're just getting prepared for it. We believe him. He's showing, he's showing it to us every, every, every week. He's showing it to us every week. That's why we try, I try our best not to have no burdens, no gripes, and none of that. Let all that stuff go. You know, let it all go. You can pick it up at sundown. But not really, because that Sunday would let it go anyway, right? So just let it go. When you come in on the Sabbath, man, you look, pills and stuff that you got, it's gonna be that Sunday. But when you get here on the Sabbath day, let all your burdens go, man. It's just, it's kind of, it's kind of showing you or preparing you for how it's going to be when the Lord gets here. It's gonna be a thousand years of peace, something that we can't even imagine. But he's just giving you an example of that.
Psalms 8. Pick it up at verse one. What to say, brother? Oh Lord, our Lord. Uh-huh. How excellent is thy name in all the Earth. That's right. Kiri, who has set thy Glory above the heavens. Yes, he did. Skip down to verse, uh, three and read it. When I consider thy Heaven, the work of thy finger. That's right. Because we gotta, we read this. What's so important about man? After all that God has done from the creation all the way down to man, we don't drop the ball. Like we haven't sinned against God. Still, uh, uh, you know, uh, turning our nose up at God, even now today. What is so important about this man that God is still paying us attention? You think you're being wiped out by now, right? But he said, look, when I consider the Heaven, thy Heavens, the work of thy fingers, right? We read about that. But he said, the work of thy fingers. And then it says, what? The moon and the stars which thou has ordained. Because they're in their place. They're in their place. They are ordained. And they gonna do exactly what the Lord tells me. Sun's gonna shine in the daytime. The moon's gonna shine at night, right? He said, look, sun and the moon and the stars are ordained.
What else? What is man? Uh-huh. That thou art mindful of him. But why you keep, what, what's so important about this man? I mean, look at all the great works that the Lord has done around the world. You see it. But why do you keep paying attention to this man? If anything, he deserves to be wiped out. What is man that thou art mindful of him?
What else to say? And the son of man. Uh-huh. That thou visiteth him. Uh-huh. Okay, ready? For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with Glory and Honor. Go ahead. Thou hast made him to have dominion over the works of thy hands. Thou hast put all things under his feet. Oh, sheep and all sheep and oxen. Yeah. And the Beast of the field, the fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passes through the paths of the sea. Right? So you see that, right? Say that made him to have talking about man, that made him to have dominion over the works of thy hands. He said, that has put all things under his feet. He said, all sheep and oxen, yeah, and the beasts of the fear, right? You see that going on today. But we saw that from the very beginning, didn't we? But you still see, hey, we still, we animals not ruling over us. And I, I don't know. I don't see a lion putting a putting a leash on a man's neck and walking him around or making him do tricks. You don't see an elephant telling the man to get on that, uh, thing right there and lift your foot up, you know, right? You don't see that, right? Because we got power over the beasts, the fowl of the air, fish of the sea, and whatsoever passed through the paths of the seas, right? But we still lacking in one area.
Let's move over to Hebrews right quick. And we got one more place after this. Hebrews 2. Hebrews 2. Like I said, it's how we tied all together. Hebrews 2. Let's pick this up at verse 8. Hebrews 2 and verse 8. When you get it, going to read that for me. Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. That's right. Talk about man, right? He said, thou hast put all things in subjection down to his feet.
What else to say? For in that he put all in subjection unto him. Uh-huh. He left nothing that is not put under him. That's right. I mean, and we just saw it. All the sheep, oxen, beasts of the field, you know, we mainly run all that. That's why he says here, God has put all things in subjection under his feet. For him that he put all in subjection unto him, he left nothing that is not put under him, right?
But what else to say? But now we see not yet all things put under him. Wait a minute, though. But he said, but now we see not yet. But now we see not yet all things put under him. Like, in other words, something is missing. Yeah. We do. God, we do got, uh, you know, authority over the animals and stuff like that, dominion over that type of stuff. But there's something that we have not defeated yet, sisters and brothers. Because, and the reason why the Lord is visiting this man, cause he got to finish this. He got to finish this process and pull us up out of this darkness that we're in. Garden, read.
What else to say? But we see Jesus. But we see Jesus. What? Who was made a little lower than the angels, suffering of death. Oh, look at that. He said, but we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, right? Gordon, read. Crowned with Glory and Honor. Oh, then he got, he got, he got it from the grave. He got his, he got it's a crown with Glory and Honor. When Jesus got him, he got his glorified body, sisters. And that's why he told, when he was praying to the Father in John 17, he got done with the work, he prayed to the Father, finishing off the prayer like this. He's saying, give me back the glory that I had, what, before the world was. In other words, that immortal body that I had before I took on this former man, let me get that back, Lord. So he died, went down into the grave, and got up with that, uh, was crowned with Glory and Honor. Look, we ain't got that yet, assistant brother. That's why it says in verse 8, but we, but now we see not yet all things put under him. Yeah, we got dominion over the animals and stuff like that. But you ain't got dominion over death. You can't beat that. You can't, can't you tame that? So we ain't got that under control, which is why Jesus had to come. And we're looking forward to taking on the same thing Jesus did. But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, why? For the suffering of death. That's right. He was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death. See, Jesus was a God in the beginning. That's what we was reading about. The Word, the Word was with God, and the Word was God, right? But in order to save man, he had to come and die for the sins of man. So when he was created, he was, uh, as far as flesh and blood is concerned, he had to come in the form lower than the angels, why? For the suffering of death. Because gods don't die, sisters and brothers. Mankind does. So God had to take on that form in order to shed his blood for us. When he died and got it from the grave, he was crowned with glory and honor and went back the way it came from.
What else to say? That he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. Oh, okay. So he was made lower than the angels for the suffering of death, so he can taste death for every man, right? Like, in other words, he gonna be the atonement for all of us. Now, this is gonna open up the door for us to receive life, sisters and brothers. It's gonna put life back on the table for us. And when are we gonna get it? First Corinthians 15. And let's go to, uh, verse 54. That's the last place. First Corinthians 15.
[Music]
And pick this up at verse 54. Because we still got one more thing that got to happen. We got to get this death off of us, sisters and brothers. And it's gonna all start taking place. We're gonna start seeing this and start to reverse when the seven trumpet is blown and the Lord descend down to this earth. Now, he from the start, you know, we're gonna start walking into life. All this stuff that we're working for is getting ready to start paying off. What is Sam? Verse 54. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption. So when it's corruptible, because mankind, we're corruptible, right? And we came into the kingdom of God with flesh and blood, it's just not gonna happen. We have to shed these bodies. So I say, when the correct, when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, right? When this man right here takes on incorruption, or takes on life.
What to say? Go ahead. And this mortal shall have put on immortality. When this mortal, because we're mortal men, right? And this mortal should have put on immortality, because that's what it's all about. That's what they talk about when Jesus, when he gonna, when, uh, God sent his son, you know, God said, love the world, he gave his own. But God's son, who said, believe in him, uh, believe in him, should not perish, but have everlasting life. That's immortality, sisters and brothers. If you believe on him, you're going to take on immortality. So he said, look, so when this corruptible should have put on incorruption, and this mortal should have put on immortality, when we take on immortality, then what? Then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in Victory. And that's the ultimate goal, sisters and brothers. All the way down to the end, you're seeing it from the beginning. The Lord got to bring that light into the world to save this man. Once it's all said and done, death's gonna be taken off the table. That's what I mean by death being swallowed up in Victory. Life is back on the table. So I hope somebody got some understanding in Jesus name.

All right, so, uh, so got a few announcements. Just to, um, Israel gives back, it'll be Sunday, uh, June 25th at 10 AM. And also, uh, let's see here. Also, y'all keep Justin in your prayers. Uh, he flew out to Arkansas this morning, so keep him in your prayers. Also, we'll be having a church walk, Sunday, July the 16th at McCurry Park. Uh, it's a North Trail, McCurry Park North Trail in Fayetteville. We'll meet at the church at nine and begin walking at 10 AM. After the walk, we'll head back to church for, you know, light refreshments. And address for that for the entrance of the trail will be announced at a later date. So just keep that in mind. I know some of y'all sisters might have heard some about a a brunch or something that, uh, Cisco's been doing. Um, as far as that goes, I think I mentioned about a year ago at church brunch that we was going to do quarterly. So let's stick to that. Um, and y'all have a sisters' retreat that y'all gonna do. So y'all, y'all, y'all deal with that. But I definitely need y'all help to be able to put some input in on the, uh, the coiled church brunch because I would like to get that going and consistently, you know what I'm saying? The church as a whole, not, not a brother brunch, not a sister brunch. The whole church. The sisters' retreat is for the sisters. Brothers' retreat is for the brothers. Then later on, we'll do something as a whole. So let's, let's stick with one thing that we have already set in place first. And, um, and then later on down the line, we'll revisit those things. But other than that, I think that's it. July 17th, the church walk. Other than that, we'll go ahead, face Jerusalem and close out.
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Praise the Lord, for he is good, and his mercy endures forever. Praise the Lord God of Israel, for he is good, and his mercy endures forever. In Jesus name we pray. The Holy One of Israel, the King of Kings, and Lord of Lords, the one true God, and there is no other. Amen. The Lord bless thee and keep thee. The Lord make his face shine upon thee and be gracious unto thee. The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee and give thee peace. And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel, and I will bless them. Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! In Jesus name. Amen.
