Dirty Demons (The Spiritual Truth Behind Chaos)

Welcome to Kingdom Justice Warriors. I am Monica Rojas, your host. Thank you for tuning in today. We have a really interesting teaching for today and I want to get into it very quickly.

So today we are going to talk about dirty demons. You're like, what in the world is that, Monica? Really? Yes, we are going to talk about dirty demons. So before we get into it, I just want to give you an introduction. The purpose of this teaching is to show that dirt and demons go together. Yeah. You wouldn't think about it. You'd be like, are demons dirty? Yes, the Bible says that they are unclean spirits. So yes, they are dirty. That's another word for unclean, it's dirty.

So [snorts] I want to ask you guys a question today. If you are struggling with keeping your house clean, is it possible that you were dealing with an unclean spirit? This is something that maybe many people struggle with with keeping their homes clean and keeping things organized. So I want to encourage you today. Maybe it's you've been struggling with it for some time, but you're like, man, why am I struggling with this? Why why can't I keep this house clean or what's going on? Is it possible that it's a spirit? I honestly believe so and I'm going to show you according to scripture what the Lord revealed to me in regards to this being a spirit. And for some people they may be like, yeah, I think that's a little bit outlandish you thinking it's a spirit. Well, let's just talk about this for 1 second. Do you believe depression is a spirit? Yes. Do you believe fear is a spirit? Yes. The Bible talks about these emotions and these things being spirits. So it's no different and I'm going to show you according to scripture that it truly is a spirit.

Matthew 12:43-45 says, when an evil spirit, now that's in the New Living Translation, an evil spirit, but according to the Greek, the Greek says when an unclean spirit leaves a person, it goes into the desert seeking rest but findeth none. Then it says, I will return to the person or to the home where I came from. So it returns and it finds the former home, the former home, ready? Empty, swept, and in order. That's profound. It says that when this spirit is cast out, this unclean spirit is cast out, it goes back and it finds the home in which it left empty, swept, and in order. So what is scripture trying to teach us here? That if our homes are dirty, it's because definitely there is something spiritual going on in our homes that is not keeping our homes clean because once the spirit is casted out, the house is empty. We know it's empty because the spirit is gone, but the two things I want to really focus on is that it's swept and it's kept and it's in order.

Now the word unclean here in the Greek is akathartos and it means to be impure, it means to be unclean or not cleansed in a moral sense. And that moral sense is in thought and in life. So I want you guys to get that. When it's talking about the this spirit, it is talking about a spirit that is unclean in thought and in life. So this is very significant to the processes and the and the things in our home. Now the word there house is oikos and it literally means a house. In the spiritual sense, it means our home, our bodies, our dwelling homes. The word swept there is saroo in Greek and it literally means a sweeping, a clean or by sweeping. So it's literally talking about the process of a cleansing of a home.

So many of you may think be like, what's the what's the big deal? What's the big deal about us keeping our homes clean? One, I want to tell you, if the Lord has given you the house, it's really not your house, it's the Lord's house. And you got to keep the home clean cuz at the end of the day, God has given you that house. His spirit is supposed to abide in the house, which is his presence. Do you truly want the presence of God abiding in a place that is filthy and that is dirty? I want you to ask yourself that question. At the end of the day, if the Lord has given you that house and that the house is a blessing and a gift from God, your responsibility is to steward that house well. We're going to get into that scripture in a minute. But I just want to give you guys the understanding of it of what is the importance of us keeping our homes clean. It's not just our homes, it's the homes where the Holy Spirit abides. And God wants us to keep it clean.

If you go to a church and a church is filthy, would you continue to go to that church? Probably not. You're not going to want to go to that church. That church is disgusting and it's dirty. You're going to be like, this is the house of God and these people keep this place dirty. You're not going to want to go there. So how much more now your own house, the house that you live in, the house that your children live in, the house that your family lives in. Remember above all, it is the spirit of God who lives in your home. So we have to keep that place clean.

There's a a saying that holiness is linked to cleanliness as well as cleanliness is linked to holiness. You can't be holy and dirty. That's impossible. The Bible says that those if you're sep- if you're holy, you're separated. When things are holy and consecrated unto the Lord, they are clean, they are separated, they're holy. So holiness and cleanliness go together. So I want you guys to understand that if your home if your houses are holy homes, they need to be clean. That is imperative. God is really teaching us this that he wants these homes or our homes or the homes that he's given us to be clean.

Another thing I want to share with you guys, I'll give you the example in the book of Genesis. God gave Adam a garden. He gave him a massive garden. But who was the tiller of the garden? Adam. >> [clears throat] >> Imagine if Adam didn't take care of that garden. Imagine if he let weeds and let it be dirty and not take care of it. At the end of the day, he was responsible for that. God gave him that garden, but he was responsible for it. The same way with our homes. We are responsible for the things that God gives us.

So our homes should always be presentable for God's presence and not only for God's presence, but for when we accept company that comes over. If you are a follower of Jesus Christ and you are going to visit somebody, I'll give you an example. I'm a follower of Jesus Christ and you're a follower of Jesus Christ. If you come over to my house and Jesus lives in you, who's coming over? Jesus is coming over because Jesus lives in you. Jesus lives in me. So if I'm coming over to your house, the Lord is living in me. So your house should be presentable cuz you don't know if God is going to use me or God is going to use somebody to bring you a prophetic word. You understand? Or bring you a gift that comes from the Lord. So our home should always be presentable because it is God it is God in people that is coming over to your house. It's not just company, it is literally the Lord in people. It is God in us, the hope of glory.

Now for those of you who may think, I don't think Jesus really cares that my house is clean or my house is dirty. I want to give you a scripture. I'm going to show you something very powerful that the Holy Spirit showed me. So let me read it to you. It is in Revelations 3:20. I love what Jesus says here. You guys ready? Look, I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in and we will share a meal together as friends. Wow, that is profound. I want you to get that. Jesus says if you hear my voice and you open the door, I will come in and we will share a meal as friends.

Now some people may be like, oh Monica, that's I don't think that's literal. I think that's maybe metaphorically or figuratively in some way. I don't think that to be true. And the reason why I tell you that because when Jesus died and when he resurrected and during that that 50 days from the time he resurrected to the time of Pentecost, he revealed himself to his disciples. He ate with them. Remember he died and he resurrected. He had died and resurrected already. He came back. He ate with them. He made them fish, a fish fry. He was cooking while they were out fishing and when they came upon um when they came upon the shore, when they came upon the sand, Jesus made food for them. So he had he had divine encounters with his apostles um during those almost 50 days when he was gone before they received the power of the Holy Spirit. So I honestly believe that this could be something for us.

So I have to ask you the question. If Jesus came to your house right now, would you be able to invite him in? Would you be able to invite the Lord, the king of kings and the lord of lords to sit down and have a meal in your house? Is your house presentable for the Lord? I want you to get that. Because you don't know if you get this teaching and you and you get this revelation and you get this conviction and you start putting things in order in your house, well God will literally come and visit you. I've heard of testimonies of people having divine encounters with Christ. Many of them have visions, some of them have dreams, but there are people who literally have an encounter with Christ where Jesus literally shows up. And you do that. He'll show up. He's God. He can do whatever he wants to do. So my question to you is, is your house presentable for the Lord? And if it's not, you have to get it in order because God is commanding us to get our houses [snorts] in order, to put things in place, not just for his presence and for his spirits, but for his spirit, but because we are representatives of who he is in us here on the earth. We are representatives of Christ on the earth. So, we must live lives accordingly. We We must live lives diligently and honorably in everything that we do.

I want to give you another scripture about being a faithful servant or being a person who takes care of the things that God gives him. And this is in Matthew 24:45 to 47. It says here, "A faithful sensible servant is one whom the master, which is Jesus, can give the responsibility of managing his other household servants and feeding them." So, we see here that Jesus is giving the servant responsibilities. He's giving him the charge over his house and feeding people in his house. Over here, "The master returns and finds that the servant has done a good job, there will be a reward." So, you see the master is Jesus Christ. He's looking to see what are we going to do with what he's given us. Amen? "I tell you the truth, the master will put that servant in charge of all he owns." So, that means that there's a reward for us doing what God has called us to do with what he's given us. He holds us responsible for those things. We cannot have the mindset, "Oh, it's my house. I can do whatever I want, whatever." No, at the end of the day it's the Lord's house. You are the steward over that house. And God is going to hold you accountable for what you're doing with that home and how you're keeping it. And how are you representing Christ in your home?

So, now I want to speak to you about some psychological aspects about keeping an unclean or dirty home or a disorganized home. According to "How Clutter Affects Your Brain", this is an article from Neurology and Neurosurgery. "A disorganized environment clutters the mind and can overwhelm your brain. It impairs your focus and increases anxiety. It disturbs your sleep." That was profound to me when I read that. I was like, "Wow." Keeping a dirty home and an an unorganized home will disturb people's sleep. So, if you are struggling with a disturbed sleep and you're not sleeping well, my question to you is, is the reason why you're not sleeping well because you're not keeping your house? It also It also affects your mood and then it affects your memory. That's profound. By you not keeping your house clean, psychologically speaking, these are the things that are happening to people when they are not keeping their homes clean. Amen? So, I want you guys to understand that I don't want to just bring you scripture. I also want to bring you the scientific measures of things that happen in our lives and how it affects us on so many levels. Okay?

So, now we're going to get into how do we tackle these things? The first thing we have to do is we have to acknowledge we have a problem. We have to acknowledge we have a problem by not keeping our homes. And And let me remind you, these are the It's a spirit. It's a spirit that you're dealing with. And this this unclean spirit that you're dealing with is connected to a spirit of laziness, a spirit of apathy, a spirit of procrastination. There is so many spirits that are connected to this. Cuz I know that people have a truly Many people truly have a desire to keep their homes, but they're struggling with certain things. And I'm telling you, these are the some of the things that you're struggling with. Sometimes it could also be how you were raised. If you were raised in a home where your parents really didn't care, they didn't keep a tidy home, they didn't keep a clean home, you're going to pick up on those things because that's the environment you were raised in. So, you're really not going to have a conviction about it. But once you get saved, you understand you The Holy Spirit starts teaching you new things. And one of those new things is we have to keep our homes. Amen?

I was raised in a home where my parents were really clean, especially my mother. I'm Puerto Rican, so my mother didn't play with us. She made us She made sure that we kept our house clean. So, I at the age of 10 or 11 years old, I was cleaning a house, I was cooking and cleaning, and I was doing all kinds of things. And I've been like that ever since. Those are the things that were ingrained in me from a a child and my mother taught me. And I taught them to my children because my children are like that, especially my son. My son is really clean. And he also went to the military, so that's another level of clean because they teach you how to be extremely clean when you go to the military. But these are the things that I learned. So, I want to share these things with you guys so you guys can get your houses in order because I believe that God is commanding us to get our homes in order.

So, after we acknowledge that we have a problem and we're dealing with all kinds of spirits that are that are um inflicting these problems, we have to identify the root cause of it. And once we identify the root cause of these things, we have to repent. We have to repent and we have to renounce these things and we have to cast these spirits out. Because at the end of the day, it is a spirit that is hindering so many things in your home for keeping it clean.

I also want to um before I get we we get into that, I also want to touch on the subject, you know, if you're not keeping your home clean, it also affects, according to the psychology and um the studies that I read, it affects your relationships. And that's a fact. It affects your relationships. If you're a person that's clean and your spouse is not clean, that's a problem. Because guess what? If they're not clean and you're really clean, guess who's going to be cleaning up after another adult? Yeah, you are. And at the end of the day, that is unfair, that is unjust, it is disrespectful, and it's dishonoring. Why should somebody have to clean up after you if you're a grown adult? It's not right. It's no different than you go to your job and you got to do the job of somebody else. You're like, "Are you Are you kidding me? I got to do my job and then I got to go do somebody else's job because they're not doing their job." It's the same thing if you're in a marriage. You're in a marriage and let's say the wife is really clean and the husband is not. Guess what? She's going to have to be cleaning up after this man. And in the beginning, she's probably going to be okay with it. She's going to be like, "Oh, yeah, I love him. I'll just deal with it." It's not like that when you're 7 years in. You're going to get tired. You're going to be like, "I am tired of cleaning up after this man. I'm tired of picking up his pants. I'm tired of picking up his clothes." And you know, it's going to be like, "Dude, I am your wife. I'm not your mother. I'm not going to be cleaning up after you." And you're going to be frustrated. You're going to be angry. It's going to affect your relationships. It affects so many things.

Another thing is if you have a disorganized house, this is another thing that affects and not only affects your marriages, it affects your relationships even with your children. If your house is a mess and you have several children, you have a mess all over the place. Let's say you got to go to the doctor and you're like, "Oh my gosh, I got to go to the doctor." You can't find your keys because nothing is organized. You You threw your keys somewhere, you don't know where they're at. You threw the kids' clothes somewhere, you threw his bottle. Everything is a hot mess. And now you're getting late to appointments because you're not prepared. You're not ready. Everything is disorganized. Nothing is in order and it affects so many things in your life. It affects everything on so many levels. It takes everything out of order. Cuz now you're getting late to your appointment because guess what? You're not organized. And at the end of the day, that's your responsibility. You can't be like, "Oh, I'm so sick of this." Okay, well then you have to change it. It's your responsibility. You have to change it.

So, we've already tackled, okay, there's an issue, there's a spirit. We have to deal with with the spirit. We have to acknowledge that there's a problem. Now we repent and we renounce it and we have to cast that out. We have to ask the Holy Spirit to give you grace. Say, "Holy Spirit, give me grace and convict me when things are not right." The Holy Spirit will help you. Trust me, the Bible says that the steps of a righteous man are ordered by the Lord.

When I've went through things in my life and I'll give you an example very shortly. When my father came to live with me, it was a very difficult time. When my father came to live with me, he was sick. I had to take care of him. I had my husband's daughters living with us and my son was little. My daughter had gone off to Job Corps, so my oldest daughter wasn't living with us. And I had the responsibility of taking care of two stepchildren. I had to take care of my son and I had to take care of my 70-something-year-old father who was a diabetic. I had to give him medication. I had to take his blood pressure every single day. I had to check his lungs and I had to clean the [clears throat] house. I had to clean. I had to cook and I had to prepare all his meals because he was a diabetic. So, guess what? I was preparing all of his meals separately from preparing the meals that I had to prepare for me and for the kids. And I always kept the home. I always maintained my home. When my father's social worker came, he said, "I've never seen any person's room clean as clean as this room is." He didn't smell, you know, like a lot of old people smell. They have that old people smell because they take a lot of medication. My father never smelled like that because I always kept them extremely clean. And I know that it was honoring to the Lord. So, I want to I share that with you guys to help you understand that it's doable. I would get up in the morning and I would pray and I'd be like, "Lord, today I have to do A B C D E F G. Your word declares that the steps of a righteous man are ordered by the Lord. Lord, what do I need to do today first?" And the Holy Spirit would speak to me and let me know exactly what I needed to do every single day. Cuz I presented to the day to him and he would let me do it.

If you're struggling with these demonic spirits that are bringing all kinds of disorders and disarrays in your home, you need to cast those spirit out. You need to submit your day to the Lord. You need to submit yourself to the Lord and say, "Lord, I got to clean this house today. How do I start doing that?" The Holy Spirit will speak to you and he will show you how to do it because if he did it with me, he'll do it with you.

So, now once you understand that you have to get things in order and get your house in order. There's another thing that you can do. Put structures in place. Get an organizational plan going. Get Get yourself on a routine. It's not difficult. Remember, if you put these things into practice, it's going to save you. It's going to save you on so many levels. It's going to save you to have peace of mind in your home, not have anxiety, not be stressed out, not be doing things on the last minute and doing things that are that are don't have integrity. You're going to be able to finish what you start. You're going to have peace in your relationships with your with your husband, with your wife, and with your children. So, overall, the peace of God is going to be in your house if you put certain structures and order in place. How do you do that? You do that by asking the Holy Spirit. Lord, I need to put certain structures and order in place. Lord, show me and lead me. The Holy Spirit will lead you. He will teach you how to keep the house clean, how to keep everything in order if you submit yourself to him. Amen. The Bible tells us, "Submit yourself to the Lord and resist the devil, he flees." So, you need to submit yourself to God. Resist the procrastination. Resist the demonic spirit that is hindering you from doing what you need to do in your home, cuz at the end of the day, remember that's a home that the Lord gave you. You need to resist these demonic lazy spirits and these spirits of apathy and these spirits of disruption and these spirits of um laziness and disorder. You need to cast those things out in the name of Jesus. And laziness is a spirit. The Bible even talks about it. I'm going to get into it in in another portion of scripture. When these when Jesus is dealing with the man with the talents. So, I want to help you understand that put certain structures and orders in place. Trust me, structure is an amazing thing. If you do it, it will save your life. It will save your life. It will save your kids on so many levels, cuz they will function and operate better. They'll be more organized. They'll be more respectful. And they will probably even save your marriage. Many of you is probably having all kinds of issues because your house is a mess. And you guys are constantly fighting because one person is cleaning and the other person is not. Amen. So, you put those structures in place.

Another thing I want to tell you guys that having a dirty and an unclean home is hazardous. It is hazardous to your health and it's hazardous to the health of your children. Studies show that homes that are clean, children are less likely to get sick in homes that are clean. Also, you can have all kinds of accidents because there's a mess in the house. There's toys thrown all over the place. You could trip on a toy, break a toe You could trip on a toy, break a toe, slip and fall because everything is in a disarray and is in a mess. So, keeping a clean home is actually for the protection not of just yourself, but for your children and your spouse. And you live healthier.

Okay, Monica, so what are some of the practical ways that I can do this? First thing I'll tell you, these are the things that I do. When I get home from work, what's the first thing I do? When I get home from work, the first thing I do is I get ready to start cooking. So, I change my clothes. I put on my cooking clothes and I get in the kitchen and I start cooking. So, as I'm cooking, I'm cleaning. Don't cook dinner and then leave a pile of dishes in the sink and then you're like, "Oh my god, I got to do all these dishes." No, while you're cooking, cleaning at the same time. Clean, put stuff away, get yourself in a system. So, as you're doing these things, you you're You're not going to have a pile of dishes.

My husband and I work together. If you are married, you must work with your spouse. If both of you guys work, then both of you guys have to work together in the home. Remember, you have to cohabitate together. So, you have to work together. You guys live together. You have to be able to love and honor each other. And I'm going to say it again, it is unfair, it is unjust, and it's quite disrespectful if you're cleaning the house and somebody else comes and they are messing up everything you just cleaned. I honor my husband and I I honor my husband by keeping a clean home. He can tell you, he never has to come home from the road or working or doing anything that he's doing and have to come home and have to clean up our mess, our wreck of a house. He never has to do that. Why? Because I honor him, I love him, and I respect him. And because I do that, he comes home to a clean home. It's the same way. You guys have to work together. And these are the things that you can talk about. If one of you guys cook, the other one can clean. That's how we do it in my house. If I cook, which I do mostly all the cooking, my husband will clean up. He'll clean up the kitchen. He'll put the dishes in the sink, or I'm sorry, he'll put the dishes in the dishwasher. The only thing he doesn't clean is the stove, cuz I am very meticulous about my stove. So, I do that myself. I clean that on my own and he just leaves it alone and I do it. But he also vacuums. He vacuums the whole house. He helps me vacuum. He does the laundry. We work together. And that maintains the peace in the house. Cuz it is totally frustrating if you're working a full-time job and one of you guys, whether it's a male or whether it's a female, a husband or wife, you cuz of the person is clean, they're having to come home tired from work and now they have to clean up a house because let's say you've been home all day or you got home or you left the mess before you left to go to work and now this person has to clean up after you. That's unjust. Honor each other. Love each other. Make sure you guys work together. Trust me, your lives are going to be so much better.

So, if you dirty something, clean it. If you are going to take a bath and you're taking off your clothes and you're going to go take a bath, put the clothes in the hamper. I just Sometimes I can't understand why do people throw clothes on the floor? We have hampers. We have technology that has created hampers. Use a hamper. Why are you not putting the clothes in the hamper? It's simple. Why are you throwing them on the floor? What if you trip over that shirt or you trip over those pants and you fall and you bust your face open because you're not putting the clothes in the hamper. It's a hazard. It's dangerous. So, just do that. >> [clears throat] >> If you see If you have dishes in the sink, wash them. Don't let them sit there for 5 hours. A lot of people like, "Oh, I'm tired. I want to go and relax. I'll wash them later." And this is something that God gave me. I want to read it to you. You are relaxing at the expense of a dirty home. It's laziness. Just get up and clean it. After I finish eating, I'm telling you, husband allowed to call me the hurricane cuz I start cleaning. I'm like, "Nope." Cuz when I sit down and relax, I don't want to clean nothing. I want to sit down and I want to relax. So, I'm like, "Okay, I got to clean, so let me just start cleaning." I start putting stuff away. I start cleaning up. I start sweeping, mopping, or doing whatever I have to do. So, clean up immediately.

When you start something, finish it. Don't leave things out. So, many people start something and they don't finish it. If you know you're not going to finish something right then and there, okay, then put it aside and make a note for it. Okay, I have to finish this tomorrow. I got to get this done. I'll give you an example. If you're a person that loves to sew, you love to sew and you and you love doing things, okay, after you do your sewing and your projects, don't leave your needles and everything out. What if you have kids and those needles fall on the floor? And now one of your kids is crawling on the floor. God forbid, what if he swallows a needle? Be smart. Put things away. You take something out, put it back. You avoid so many headaches. You avoid so many catastrophes and disasters when you just put things away and you keep things organized. So, these is pretty practical things that you can do. And you know, you don't have to do everything all at once. If you're tackling a big house, do one thing at a time. Many times if we just keep things organized and clean, we don't have to be worrying about deep cleaning for a couple of months or four season. So, I'll give you an example. I do spring cleaning. I do winter cleaning and I do summer cleaning. Change my curtains. I clean my windows. I clean all the shades. And I do that every couple of months. But I sweep and I mop almost two Maybe twice or maybe three times a week depending on how much traffic I have in the house. And that's because I I need to keep the house clean. I don't like coming home to a dirty home. I don't like coming home to a house that smells. And I have a dog. Trust me, I am very, very clean. And not only that, I got to look at it like this. If Jesus came to my house, would I be able to let him in? You got to think about that. If Jesus came to your house right now, would he be okay to come in and have a meal with you? If the answer is no, you got to get your houses in order.

So, I want to pray for you. I know this video is short, but I want to pray for you and I want you to understand that God loves you. God has a purpose and a plan for you. But if you're having an issue with keeping your home clean and it's affecting your relationships and it's affecting so many things in your life, whether it's work, your relationships, or whatever's going on, this is the time where God is telling you, "Get your houses in order." And I'm not sure why Jesus is telling us that and he's telling us to put our houses in order, but I know he gave me this message and I'm just giving you what he gave me. And maybe he's going to come and visit many of you. Who knows? If Jesus comes to visit you, please send me shoot me a text. Shoot me a uh email and let me know, "Oh my god, I cleaned my house and Jesus actually came to visit me." Amen. Praise the Lord. And don't think that he won't. The scripture says that he'll come in. If he knocks at the door and you open it, he'll come in and he'll share a meal with you. And I'm believing that. I believe that for myself. I know that people who come to my house I said, "Lord, I I always want to have this house ready if you ever come in and you literally visit me. You are always welcome. The Holy Spirit is he's always welcome. But if Jesus literally came here, he'll be all he'll be proud. He'll be like, "Yep, you're keeping the house that I gave you clean." Amen? Amen.

I want us to pray. Heavenly Father, I thank you for today. I thank you for everyone who is watching on this channel. And I thank you, Father God, for bringing you greater revelation of the things that you want us to do. Father God, if there are people who are struggling to keep their homes clean, the homes that you have given them, Father, give them the grace to cast out demonic spirit, unclean spirit out in the name of Jesus. And that they will walk in holiness, and they will walk in cleanliness, because holiness and cleanliness go hand in hand. I thank you, Father God, for structuring their days, and ordering their steps, and showing them, Father God, that you have a greater purpose and a greater plan. And that maybe this them organizing the houses is the beginning of the abundant that you have for them. Because the Bible teaches us that when we are faithful with the things that God gives us, he blesses us with more. That's what the Bible teaches us with the men with the talent. He gave three three different type of servants talents. And the one who took it and buried them, he called him a wicked and lazy servant. He said, "You wicked, unfaithful, and lazy servant." God, and I declare that today that we are not wicked, we are not lazy, and we are not unfaithful servants. We are your servants, and we love you, and we want our houses to honor you in every way. So, give people the grace, men and women alike, to keep their homes clean for the your name's sake. So, if you come and visit them, or people who are followers of you come and visit them, their house will be presentable for you, and that your presence and that your glory will be in the house. I thank you, Father, for this day, and I thank you for what you're going to do in the lives of your people. In Jesus' name. Amen.
