Well, praise the Lord. Glory to God. Are you glad to be in the word tonight? I said, 'Are you glad to be in the word tonight?'
Now, turn to your neighbor and say, "I came expecting." Mhm. Because you can't receive what you don't expect. And I came tonight expecting the word to work like it always does.
Now, before we go any further, I want you to lift your hands and thank the Lord with me. Say it out loud. The Lord is good and his mercy, what is it? Endures forever. Haha. Glory to God.
Now, let's pray. Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, we thank you for the entrance of your word that brings light. Not confusion, not fear, not question marks, light. We thank you that healing is already ours. We're not trying to get it. We're not waiting on it. It belongs to us because Jesus paid for it. And tonight, Father, we open our eyes, our ears, and our hearts to receive the command, the instruction, and the anointing in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
Now, folks, I want to talk to you tonight about something the Lord woke me up and spoke to me about. I'm not talking about a dream. I'm not talking about a passing thought. I'm talking about when God gets in the room and starts rearranging your understanding. It was 3:16 in the morning. I looked over at the clock. Couldn't sleep. And the Lord said, "Son, you've read it. You've quoted it. You've shouted from it, but you've never seen the command."
I said, "Lord, what command?" And he said, "The healing command. It's in Deuteronomy. You've walked past it for years." And I tell you, I sat up in that bed, opened that Bible, and something began to burn on the inside of me like fire shut up in my bones. It wasn't a new verse. No, no. It was a verse I'd read, underlined, taught, and preached, but this time it was alive.
You see, folks, God doesn't hide things from you. He hides things for you. You understand what I'm saying? Say it out loud. It's hidden for me, not from me.
Now, turn with me to the book of Deuteronomy, chapter 28. Some of you already know where I'm going, but you don't know what's about to come out of it. Because this chapter, oh, this chapter isn't just a list of blessings. It's a map. It's a blueprint. It's the voice of covenant that echoes across time. Somebody say, "Covenant."
I remember years ago, I was preaching in Houston, Texas. A man walked up to me after the service, sick in body, discouraged in spirit, nearly broke. And he said, "Brother Hagen, I've tried everything, doctors, medications, even preachers." I said, "Have you tried Deuteronomy?" He looked at me and said, "Isn't that just Old Testament law?" I said, "No, sir. That's New Testament inheritance. That's your legal document signed in the blood of Jesus." Because Galatians 3:13 says, "Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law being made a curse for us."
That man went home, took that chapter and read it every morning and every night out loud, took communion, forgave some folks, spoke the blessing over his own body. And do you know what happened? Three weeks later, he came back completely healed. And he said, "I didn't know it was that simple." And I said, "That's the problem. We've complicated what Jesus made clear."
Now, listen. What I'm about to show you tonight, you may have read before, but you've never heard it like this. Because there is a command inside this chapter. Not just a promise, not just a blessing, but a healing command. And if you obey that command, healing flows. If you speak that command, the curse breaks. If you live that command, your household becomes a healing station. Hallelujah.
Are you ready to find it? Say this with me. Lord, open my eyes to what's been hidden but never lost. Because tonight, I'm going to walk you through Deuteronomy 28, not just with eyes to read, but with ears to hear. And when we're done, some of you are going to say, "Why didn't I see that before?" And I'll tell you why. Because God is speaking now. He's making it alive now. Amen.
Let's go deeper. Now, I want to tell you something strange, something supernatural that happened to me shortly after the Lord stirred me about Deuteronomy 28. I was in a little town out in West Texas holding meetings in a small church. Wasn't more than 50 folks on a Sunday morning. I'd been preaching on healing and the authority of the believer. And one night after the service, I laid my head down and drifted off to sleep. And in the middle of that sleep, I don't know if I was dreaming or if I'd been taken in the spirit, but I was suddenly standing in what looked like a vast desert. No trees, no houses, no buildings, just wind and dust. And it was hot. I mean hot, dry, and empty. I could feel the heat burning my skin, but I wasn't afraid. I looked around and said, "Lord, what am I doing here?" And I heard a voice in the wind, not loud, not thunderous, but clear. The voice said, "Speak the command and life shall spring forth."
I said, "What command?" Then just over the hill, a figure started walking toward me. Now, I didn't know who it was at first, but as he got closer, I could see he was an old man wearing a tattered robe, his beard white and his eyes sharp like fire. And in his hand, he held a scroll. He didn't say his name, but I knew who he represented. He looked like one of those ancient prophets out of the Old Testament. Maybe Elijah, maybe Moses, I don't know. But I tell you, the power of God was all over him. He handed me that scroll and in a voice as strong as 10,000 men, he said, "Deuteronomy 28, the blessing is your inheritance, but the command, it is your healing." And then poof, he vanished. And I looked down. I was holding that scroll in my hand. The letters began to glow. I could see verses I had memorized as a boy. Blessed shalt thou be in the city. Blessed shalt thou be the fruit of thy body. The Lord shall command the blessing upon thee. But suddenly one phrase began to rise off the page like steam. It lifted off and came straight into my spirit. "If thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God."
Now I'd read that verse a thousand times. But it had never hit me like that. It didn't say if thou shalt work miracles. It didn't say if thou shalt shout louder than the rest. It didn't say if thou shalt earn your way. No, no. It said if thou shalt hearken diligently, not casually, not halfway, but diligently, with attention, with seriousness, with heart. And then the voice came again, but this time from inside me, "Healing begins where hearing begins." The command is not in the noise, it's in the listening. Oh, somebody better write that down. I said, "Healing begins where hearing begins." Say that with me. Healing begins where hearing begins.
Now listen. I woke up from that dream, sweating, heart pounding, and I heard the Lord say to me again, "Go back to that chapter and this time, don't just read it, listen to it." And friend, that's what we're going to do tonight. We're not just going to read the word, we're going to hear it. And when you hear it, truly hear it, faith rises. The curse breaks. Healing comes. Let me ask you this. Are you listening? Because the command is coming. Say it with me again. Speak the command and life shall spring forth.
We're going deeper now. Deuteronomy 28 is not a dusty old passage for Jewish farmers. It's a divine legal document. And tucked inside it is a command you've probably walked right past for years like I did. But tonight that changes. Let's open the scroll now. Open your Bible with me to Deuteronomy chapter 28. Don't just look at it. Open it like you're opening a treasure chest. Because my friend, that's what it is. This is not just Old Testament literature. It is covenant talk. It is legal language from the courtroom of heaven. It is the will and testament of God to his people.
I want you to look at verse one. It says, "And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth." Now, that sounds like position, doesn't it? Not beneath, not forgotten, but set on high. And who's doing the setting? Not your effort, not your job, not your degree. The Lord your God shall set you on high.
Now watch this. "And all these blessings shall come on thee and overtake thee if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God." Now I want you to say this out loud. The blessing is chasing me down. Say it again. I am not chasing the blessing. The blessing is overtaking me.
Now wait a minute. Watch this carefully. It's not automatic. You don't get the blessing just because you got a Bible under your arm. You don't get it just because you can quote a verse or two. The blessing is triggered by what? By hearkening diligently to his voice. Let me tell you what that means. That means when God whispers, you stop and listen. That means when he nudges your heart, you move. That means when the spirit of God says, "Lay hands on your child and pray," you don't delay until tomorrow, you do it now. That's what hearken diligently means.
Now, listen closely. The first 14 verses of Deuteronomy 28 are all about the blessing. And oh my, what a blessing it is. Health, prosperity, protection, fruitfulness, increase, favor, victory, peace. But we're going to zoom in on one area, healing. Look at verse four. "Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body." That's not just children. That's every part of your physical being. Your organs, your lungs, your skin, your blood, your nervous system. The fruit of thy body means your health is under the jurisdiction of the blessing.
Now verse eight says, "The Lord shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses and in all that thou setest thine hand unto." Now I used to think storehouses just meant money. But one night the Lord said to me, "Your health is a storehouse, too. Your energy, your breath, your physical strength, that's a storehouse I command the blessing on." Say it with me. My body is a storehouse and the Lord commands the blessing upon it.
Now watch this. This is where the command comes in. Verse eight didn't say the Lord suggested a blessing. It didn't say he hoped for it. It said the Lord shall command the blessing. You know what a command is? It's an order. It's a decree. It's a divine legislative act that cannot be overturned. And I got news for you. The curse doesn't have the right to stay when God has issued a command of blessing over your body.
But here's where many miss it. They say, "Well, Brother Hagen, I know God can heal, but I'm just waiting on his timing." And I tell them, "You're waiting on a train that already left the station. Christ hath past tense redeemed us from the curse of the law." And part of that curse is every sickness, every disease, every affliction, every infirmity listed in Deuteronomy 28, and even the ones not written in the book. Don't believe me? Let's read verse 61. "Also, every sickness and every plague which is not written in the book of this law, them will the Lord bring upon thee until thou be destroyed."
Now, don't get tripped up on the language there. It's permissive, not causative. The original Hebrew implies allow, not inflict. God permits it when people reject his command. But thank God, verse 61 lists every sickness as part of the curse. And Galatians 3:13 says, "Christ hath redeemed us from the curse." So here's the revelation. If sickness is under the curse, and the curse is under the blood, then your sickness is under your feet. I want you to say that loud and bold. If it's under the curse, it's under the blood. If it's under the blood, it's under my feet.
Now, that's the covenant. That's the command. Not just a promise for some future age, but a command from the most high, a declaration of war against disease, against weakness, against every plague of the body. God's not wondering whether you'll be healed. He already gave the order. The question is, are you ready to enforce it? Hallelujah.
Now, folks, we've seen the blessing. Glory to God. But you can't fully appreciate the blessing until you understand what you've been redeemed from. You see, if I walked up to you and handed you a pardon, but you didn't even know you were sentenced, you wouldn't value the freedom I gave you. But when you know the curse, when you see what the devil tried to hang on your body, and then realize Christ ripped that curse off of you, you'll shout for the blessing like never before.
So, let's look at what the curse really says. Verse 15 says, "But it shall come to pass if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God." There it is again, the voice to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day that all these curses shall come upon thee and overtake thee. And I want you to hear this with spiritual ears. Now, because the next several verses are not just old covenant warnings, they're a catalog of every work of darkness Jesus delivered you from.
Look at verse 21. "The Lord shall make the pestilence cleave unto thee until he hath consumed thee." Pestilence today. We call it viral outbreaks, pandemic, superbugs. But you've been redeemed. Verse 22, "The Lord shall smite thee with a consumption." That's tuberculosis, lung disease, anything that consumes the body from the inside out, but you've been redeemed. Then verse 23, "The Lord will smite thee with the botch of Egypt." Now, I don't know about you, but I've never seen a doctor's chart that said botch, but that's skin disease, boils, infections, rashes, and sores that won't heal. And verse 28, "The Lord shall smite thee with madness and blindness, and astonishment of heart." You know what madness is? That's confusion of mind. That's mental illness. That's fear, anxiety, schizophrenia, depression. I'm telling you, friend, it's in the curse, and you are redeemed from it.
Now, somebody might say, "Well, Brother Hagen, that was the Old Testament. That's not for us today." Well, then let me ask you something. Is Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever? Then the curse is still the curse, but the cross is still the cross, and the blood is still enough.
Verse 35 says, "The Lord shall smite thee in the knees and in the legs with a sore botch that cannot be healed." You know what that means? Arthritis, joint pain, degeneration, conditions that modern medicine says are irreversible. But I'm here to tell you tonight what man calls irreversible. The blood of Jesus calls redeemed.
Now go down to verse 59. "Then the Lord will make thy plagues wonderful." You know what that word wonderful means in the Hebrew? It means astonishing, unexplainable, incurable diseases that leave doctors scratching their heads. Sound familiar? It's all in the curse. And then verse 60 and 61, bring the hammer down. "Moreover, he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast afraid of." Verse 61, "Also every sickness and every plague which is not written in the book of this law." Did you catch that? Every sickness named and unnamed, diagnosed or undiagnosed, old or new, chronic or sudden, genetic or environmental, listed or not listed. If it's sickness, it's curse. If it's curse, it's illegal. And if it's illegal, it's trespassing in your body. Glory to God.
Now, I want you to say this with me and say it like you mean it. Every sickness is under the curse. And every curse is under the blood, and the blood is over me.
Now, here's what I need you to do. Stop tolerating what God already terminated. Don't say, "Well, this runs in my family." No. No. When you got born again, you joined a new family, and this family doesn't have sickness in its DNA. Don't say, "I guess I have to live with it." Jesus didn't die so you could cope. He died so you could be free. The curse has been fully revealed. And when you recognize the curse, you know what to resist. That's why James 4:7 says, "Resist the devil and he will flee from you." You can't resist what you excuse. So don't excuse the sickness any longer. Don't accept what Jesus already rejected. Because the moment you rise up and say, "Enough is enough. I'm not under this curse," that's when healing starts to flow like a river.
Let's go deeper. Now, we've walked through the blessing. We've uncovered the curse. But I want to show you how to enforce the blessing. I want to show you how to activate what's already been commanded. You see, just because God commands the blessing doesn't mean it automatically shows up in your life. You've got to respond. You've got to agree. You've got to put your voice with his word. Why? Because authority isn't silent. Let me say that again. Authority is not silent.
Jesus said in Mark 11:23, "Whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea, and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass, he shall have whatsoever he saith." He didn't say you'll have what you think. He didn't say you'll have what your grandma prayed. He said you'll have what you saith. That's why, friend, you've got to put the word of God in your mouth.
Now, turn to Galatians 3:13. You need to see it with your own eyes. "Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. For it is written, cursed is everyone that hangeth on a tree." And verse 14, "That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ." Glory to God. That's not a maybe. That's not a someday. That's a done deal.
But listen now, just because the curse has been broken legally doesn't mean it won't try to show up practically. And when it shows up, you got to speak. When the devil shows up at your door with a box of sickness, don't open it and say, "Well, I guess it's flu season." No, you slam the door and say, "Not at this address. I've been redeemed." Somebody say, "I've been redeemed." Say it again. I've been redeemed from the curse of the law.
Now, I want to take you through something the Lord had me do many years ago. He said, "Kenneth, if you want to see the blessing manifest, don't just study it, speak it." So, every morning, I'd get up and declare the blessing of Deuteronomy 28 over my life. I'd walk the floor of my bedroom and say, "Blessed am I in the city. Blessed am I in the field. Blessed is the fruit of my body. Blessed is my storehouse. The Lord shall command the blessing upon everything I set my hand to do." I didn't just think it. I didn't just whisper it. I declared it like I meant it. And I tell you, things began to shift. My body lined up with the word. My finances lined up with the word. My ministry grew and flourished not because of effort, but because of agreement.
You see, heaven responds to agreement. And when your words agree with God's word, the command goes into effect. So, let's do it right now. I want you to stand to your feet, lift your hands, and say this with me. I am redeemed from the curse of the law. Every sickness is under that curse. Therefore, every sickness is under the blood, and the blood is over me. Now, say this, I walk in the blessing. The Lord has commanded it. I receive it. I speak it. And I see it. Glory to God.
You say, "Brother Hagen, what if I don't feel anything?" Well, since when do we walk by feelings? We walk by faith. Your body may not catch up right away, but if you'll keep speaking what God commanded, your symptoms will have to bow to the truth.
Now, here's your assignment. And I say this by the spirit of God. For the next 7 days, declare Deuteronomy 28:1-14 over your life out loud, morning and night, like medicine. Don't add to it. Don't water it down. Just speak it. And healing will flow like water over a dry and thirsty land. Because remember this, when the blessing is spoken, the curse is broken. Glory to God.
Now, let me tell you a story. This one's going to help somebody in here. It happened years ago during a series of healing meetings down in rural Arkansas. Now, listen. I'd been preaching on the authority of the believer, on the redemptive rights we have through Christ. The word was strong in the place. People were getting healed left and right, tumors dissolving, backs straightening, eyes opening. But there was one woman, name was Maria, pastor's wife. She sat in every meeting Saturday, right there on the front row with her Bible open and her face hard as stone. Now, I noticed something. The anointing would flow like a river over the whole room, and she'd sit there like a frozen statue. I laid hands on her twice. Nothing. Not a tear, not a tremble, not a twitch.
Finally, after the third night, her husband, the pastor, came to me and said, "Brother Hagen, I know the power of God is real. I've seen it. But my wife, she's sick, lupus. Her body is breaking down. She's tired. But no matter what we do, nothing's working." I said, "Bring her to the parsonage. Let's talk." So, they came Saturday night right across from me. And I looked her in the eye and said, "Maria, what's going on inside your heart?" Now listen, she didn't flinch. She said, "I've done everything I know to do. I've confessed the word. I've anointed myself with oil. I've fasted. I've prayed. I've stood." I nodded. "All good," I said. "But what about forgiveness?"
And right there, her whole face changed. She looked away, clenched her jaw, and then she said something I'll never forget. "I hate my sister." I said, "Pardon?" She said it again, this time with more venom. "I hate her. I haven't spoken to her in 12 years. I'll never forgive her for what she did to our family." And right there, the spirit of the Lord spoke up in me. He said, "You're trying to pour blessing into a container full of bitterness."
So I told her gently but firmly, "Maria, unforgiveness will clog the blessing. The healing command flows through love, not through knowledge, not through tradition, not even through desperation, through love." I took her to Galatians 5:6. Let's read it together now. "Faith worketh by love." You want your faith to work, then your love's got to work, too. I said, "Maria, healing isn't just a matter of believing. It's a matter of forgiving." She sat, "Kid, real kid." Then tears began to flow. She looked up and said, "Brother Hagen, I didn't know." I thought if I just prayed hard enough, I smiled and said, "You can pray till your knees go bald. But if your heart is full of poison, healing can't land." And right there on the couch, she bowed her head and said, "Lord, I forgive her. I let it go." She didn't feel anything. No angelic trumpet, no shaking. But when she opened her eyes, her face looked different. Something had lifted. I said, "Now go call her. Make it right." She did.
Now listen to me. She didn't get healed right then. But two nights later during the altar call, I walked past her. Never touched her. Never said a word. And she dropped to the floor like a sack of flour. Power of God hit her from head to toe. And when she stood up, she was healed. Doctor confirmed it. Lupus gone, blood normal, joints restored. Why? Because the command of Deuteronomy 28 flows through love. Let me say that again. The healing command rides on the rails of forgiveness. You can't claim the blessing while holding on to a grudge. It won't work.
You say, "But they hurt me." I know. You say, "But they never apologized." They might not. But listen to me. Your healing is not in their apology. It's in your obedience. Say this out loud with me. Faith works by love. Healing flows through forgiveness. I let it go so I can be made whole. Hallelujah.
Some of you right now, the Holy Ghost is bringing someone to your mind, someone you need to forgive. Maybe it's been 12 years. Maybe it's been 30. But tonight is your night of release. Don't block the blessing with bitterness. Unclog the pipeline. Let it flow because I'm telling you, when love flows, healing follows.
Let's keep going. Now, let's go back to Deuteronomy 28. Look at verse 8. "The Lord shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou setest thine hand unto." Now, that word storehouses, folks used to think that was just barns, grain, maybe a savings account if you're modern. But I want you to hear me in the spirit tonight. Your body is a storehouse. Say it with me. My body is a storehouse. That's right. Your lungs are a storehouse. Your joints, your blood, your nervous system, your hormones, they're all compartments that God created to store strength, vitality, clarity, and power. And the word says he shall command the blessing upon them.
Now, here's the problem. Most folks are waiting until they're completely broken down before they start speaking life. But I'm going to teach you something the Lord taught me. He said, "Start small. Speak life into what isn't hurting before it starts hurting." You see, faith isn't just for crisis. Faith is for maintenance, for overflow, for health before sickness knocks.
Years ago, this is back when I barely had two nickels to rub together. The Lord told me, "Start storing something." Now, all I had was $2,000. And he told me to buy a little tax-free bond. That wasn't much, but I obeyed. And as I obeyed, he blessed what I set my hand to. That bond grew, turned into several. Then investments, then houses, ministry property, until we were operating with over a million dollars debt-free. Now, I'm not telling you that to brag. I'm telling you that because God doesn't bless what you imagine, he blesses what you touch. You got to set your hand to it.
And in the same way you can store up wealth, you can store up healing. Every time you speak the word over your body, you're making a deposit. Every time you lay hands on yourself and say, "By his stripes, I am healed," you're stocking up the shelves of your divine warehouse. You may not feel anything in the moment, but you're building a reserve that hell can't touch.
You say, "Brother Hagen, I've got pain in my knees." Then start with your elbow. Start with what's not hurting. Build your faith there. You say, "My kidneys are failing." Then start with your mind. Speak peace and clarity. Because faith is a seed. And seeds start small, but they never stay small. Let me tell you what the devil fears more than anything. He fears a believer who knows how to sow the word when things are quiet. Because when the storm comes, that believer will have a storehouse full of healing, full of peace, full of power.
Say this with me. I will speak the blessing daily. I will deposit the word faithfully. And when the enemy comes, I will withdraw my miracle. Glory to God. Don't despise small beginnings. Don't wait for a diagnosis to get serious about your health. Don't wait for a breakdown to speak up. You have authority now. You have access now. You've got the healing command and you can start applying it to your storehouse tonight. Your body is not a hospital. It's a temple. And the Lord shall command the blessing upon it. Hallelujah.
Let's keep moving. Now, I want to shift gears here and I want you to really lean in with your heart because this is where many folks miss it. You say, "Brother Hagen, I've confessed the word. I've fasted. I've sowed. Believed, but I still haven't received my healing." Let me ask you something. Are you walking in love? Don't answer too quick. I didn't say, "Are you being nice?" I said, "Are you walking in the love of God according to the commandment of Christ?"
Let me read you something from Galatians 5:6. "Faith worketh by love." You can have all the faith in the world, quote all the healing scriptures you want, but if you're holding unforgiveness, bitterness, pride, resentment, you just unplug the power source. It's like trying to run a washing machine with a cord cut off.
I remember a woman came to me in a meeting once. She said, "Brother Hagen, I want you to lay hands on me. I've had this chronic stomach condition for 10 years. Doctors can't help." I said, "I'll do it, but first let me ask, are you walking in love?" She got quiet. Then she said, "Well, my sister and I haven't spoken in 12 years." She wronged me. I said, "Sister, if you want healing, you're going to have to release that." She said, "I can't." I said, "Then don't expect me to override the word of God. Faith works by love."
Now, that same woman came back the next night, tears in her eyes, said she went home, called her sister, repented, and made things right. I laid hands on her and she fell out under the power of God. Got up completely healed. You see, she didn't just release her sister. She released the power of healing. Say this with me. Healing flows where love goes.
If you're constantly bitter, always angry, easily offended, your faith is crippled. Jesus said in John 13:34, "A new commandment I give unto you, that you love one another." And in Romans 13, Paul wrote, "He that loveth another hath fulfilled the law." Do you remember Deuteronomy 28, all those blessings for obeying God's commandments? Well, under the new covenant, that one commandment is love. You want the blessing of health. You want your storehouse full. You want your enemies fleeing seven ways, then walk in love. Forgive quick. Bless those that curse you. Release those who wrong you.
Now, I'll tell you something the Lord told me years ago. He said, "If you'll stay on the love line and stay on the faith line, you'll walk in divine health." And I've been doing that ever since. I've had opportunities to get bitter, offended, defensive. But every time I felt that temptation, I'd say, "No, I'd rather walk in love and stay healed." You see, when you walk in love, you're walking in God. And when you're walking in God, healing becomes your atmosphere. Say this out loud. I choose love. I choose healing. I choose the blessing of obedience. Glory to God.
It's not hard, but it takes decision. Start with the ones closest to you. Forgive your spouse. Forgive that boss. Forgive yourself. And watch the healing power flow like a river.
We're almost done now, but I want to bring it home strong. Let me take you to the last chapter. Let's bring this home now. Let's settle this deep in your spirit. Not just in your mind, not just in your emotions, but in your inner man. Say this out loud. I'm not under the curse. I've been redeemed. Christ has redeemed me from the curse of the law. Now, if the curse included poverty, sickness, and spiritual death, then you ought to stand on that verse in Galatians 3:13 until the devil himself packs his bags and runs out the back door. But don't just say it once. Say it every day. Say it until it gets down into your bones.
One night, I was in a little meeting in East Texas, and I gave an altar call at the end of my message. A man came down the aisle slowly limping, dragging one leg, pain on his face. He looked up at me with tears and said, "Brother Hagen, the doctor says it's cancer in the bone. They say there's nothing they can do, but I've been listening to your tapes, and I heard you say something I'd never heard before." I said, "Uh, what was that, brother?" He said, "You said in Galatians 3:13, Christ has already redeemed me. You said it's past tense, not future. You said, 'Healing is not something I'm trying to get. It's something I already have by faith.' And you said, 'I don't have to stay under this curse.'" He said, "I went home and I said it out loud 200 times that night. Christ has redeemed me from the curse of the law. Christ has redeemed me from the curse of the law." He said, "The pain got worse, but I kept saying it. Next morning, still hurting, but I kept saying it. Third day, I woke up and the pain was gone. Went back to the doctor, they did scans, no trace of cancer. Glory to God."
You see, he didn't wait for the healing to shout. He shouted because the word said it's already his. And I'm here to tell you tonight, healing is yours. Forgiveness is yours. Deliverance is yours. Freedom is yours. Salvation is yours. You are not under the curse. The devil's been lying to you long enough. He's told you God's mad at you. He's told you you're unworthy. He's told you this pain is punishment. But tonight, the lie ends. Christ has redeemed you. Not because of your perfection, not because of your works, but because of his blood. That's covenant blood. Blood that speaks better things than the blood of Abel. Blood that broke the curse once and for all.
Tonight is your night. This is your moment. If you're here and you've never made Jesus Christ Lord of your life, or you've walked away from him, or you've been living under the weight of sin, sickness, shame, and sorrow, I want you to come now. Yes. Right now. Get out of your seat. Get out of your fear. Get out of your pride and come into freedom. Come to the altar and say it with your own lips. I am not under the curse anymore.
I want everyone to stand. Lift your hands. Now say this with me as loud as you can shake the devil's camp tonight. Christ has redeemed me from the curse of the law. I am blessed in the city and in the field. I walk in divine health. I walk in divine love. I am a covenant child of God. I am not under the curse. Give him praise. Give him glory. Give him honor. Healing is yours. Provision is yours. Jesus is yours. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Amen. And amen.
