Among the main advantages are one-click installation and removal of mods, a variety of settings, and minimal impact on system performance and functionality. Today, we will look at the most outstanding modifications, in my opinion, which will surely interest you and improve your interaction with Windows. Let's go. From my previously released videos, you are probably already familiar with modifications such as Windows 11 Start Menu Styler and Taskbar Styler. Not everyone likes the Windows 11 Start menu, especially the recommendations section. Therefore, in the Start Menu Styler settings, you can choose an option without this section. Additionally, there are other pre-installed themes that completely change the shape and style of the Start menu. Moreover, you can find even more design options on the internet. To apply them, simply copy the code, open advanced settings, and in the mod's settings, replace the existing code with the copied one. It's better to do this through the context menu rather than a keyboard shortcut to avoid accidental re-pasting of the code and subsequent JON errors. After that, save the changes and you get a Start menu like this. If the theme is displayed incorrectly, in most cases, enabling this option in the settings helps. The situation is similar with the Taskbar Styler. There is also a theme that mostly matches the Start menu's design, allowing you to style your desktop in a unified look. And as a bonus, so we don't have to return to this. From the same author, there is also the Windows 11 File Explorer Styler mod, which changes the explorer's header. There are not many variations yet, but there is a choice. For example, the version without tabs. I remember someone asked me about this. So here it is, my friend. I hope you are watching this. One of the best modifications you can make to Windows, which will improve the user experience, remove unnecessary labels, and unlock all system capabilities, is, of course, its activation. Purchase software and subscriptions only on GGCL. Let's return to the customization of the taskbar with the Taskbar Try System Icon Twixs mod. Sometimes, certain icons on the right side of the panel are absolutely unnecessary. For example, the microphone icon. In the settings of this mod, you can disable all of them. And if you are using a theme for the taskbar, this can even help fix its size by simply removing an icon. If you have ever wondered if it would be great if the Start button in Windows 11 were located on the left side of the taskbar, but without affecting pinned and open programs, then the Start Button Always on the Left mod provides exactly this possibility. [Music] In the same vein is the Taskbar Auto Hide Win Maximized mod, which hides the taskbar when you open a window in full screen. This, in theory, will give you more workspace and fewer distractions. And for this mod, I highly recommend Task Auto Hight Speed, in the settings of which you can choose the speed and smoothness of the animation, as by default Windows animations are extremely jerky with low FPS. If I didn't have a physical mixer, Taskbar Volume Control would be a mod I would definitely install. It allows you to adjust the volume without unnecessary key combinations and mouse clicks. Simply hover your cursor over the taskbar and scroll the mouse wheel. The Modresrdirect significantly simplifies changing icons in the explorer without a lot of hassle, loaders, and system restarts. The settings already include most of the icon packs that you can find on the internet, including for 70SP. Moreover, you can easily specify the path to an icon pack you downloaded from the internet. It works simply. You select an icon pack, click save, restart Explorer, and everything is ready, the icons have been changed. A personal pet peeve of mine is the "size" parameter, meaning the size in the explorer, and the fact that it only works for individual files, is displayed only in kilobytes, and folders are completely ignored. And to find out the size of each, you need to open the settings. In short, this is fixed using the Better File Size in Explorer Details mod and the Everything utility. Install the mod. Then download and install Everything, after which launch the utility. Next, you need to open the settings, go to the Indexes tab, and check the box to index folder sizes. Save all of this. Proceed to the mod's settings and select to display folder sizes through integration with Everything. And that's it, it's done. Now folders display their size, and the indicators themselves are now shown in megabytes and gigabytes. My personal life dilemma during editing, for example, is that the dark theme of Windows does not affect Win32 menus, which remain light. The Dark Mode Context Menu mod solves this problem. In the settings, at least choose the option for the mod to work only with the dark theme. And voilà, the problem is solved. And for the title bar, for example, to also look appropriate, in the personalization settings under colors, set all RGB values to 38 and enable the function to show the accent color in the window title bar. This way, the interface will look significantly better. The arrangement of windows on the desktop, in my opinion, is quite boring and not super convenient. In this case, I like the Fancy Zones function in the utility PowerToys. And from the WHK modifications, I really want to highlight Slick Window Arrangement. Firstly, the mod adds inertia to windows, a smooth sliding animation when you release a window during fast dragging. Additionally, there is a window snapping function, where they magnetically attach to each other's edges. This is especially useful when working with multiple windows.
