Quarter rep range of motion, half rep range of motion. 50 reps per set is the goal, times 20 sets. I'll flip it once I did it. I'm going to time each set. See how much how long 50 reps takes us compared to compare it to with how much rest period we actually need. I'm going to start off with a minute duration rest period each set and then the goal will be progressively reducing that overall rest period as we go. All right, so here we go.

Okay, that's our first set. And that took 42 seconds of a rest period. Wait 42 seconds to do it. Now we're going to time our rest period. Got to get ready for my day. Officer Burpie says, "Hey, thanks for stopping in, man." Jesse, you're an inspiration to so many, including me. Not just your work, e ethic, but your energy, personality, and humility radiates. Officer Burpie, thanks for being you. I appreciate you, man. I love the channel. Love the journey. Yep. Stay strong. Check out Men of Action, guys. I mean, check out Officer Burpee. Sorry, as soon as I was saying that, a notification came up. Men of Action posted something.

All right, here we go. Hey Tao, welcome to the chat. Okay, that's our minute duration rest period, right? We'll reset the clock. See how long it takes us. All right, another 42 seconds. Hey Nathan, welcome to the chat. Greetings. Donnie says, "Hello, Jesse. Making lunch. Can't do a thousand, but I can do 500. How do you know, Donnie? Have you ever tried? Like, how do you know? Either way, 500's nothing to sneeze at. Yo, following for health, thank you so much for the channel support. says, "You are so realistic in your program. No falseeness about you. Very inspiring. Many thanks, Jesse." Heck yeah, man. Thanks. Thanks so much for the uh channel support. That's amazing. Thanks for being here. That's our rest period. That's a minute and 10. So, we did two sets, right? Now let's do a third. This will be we'll pull this after we complete the next one. Following for health flowing for health. My apologies. Hey, thanks for the channel support. Oh my god. Heck yeah. That was like a 50 50 second time. That time time our rest period. Now we'll pull the card. All right. So that's one, two. What? Dude, we got it. This has to be the fourth set. This is the fourth set, right? Where's the card go? One, two, three. Yeah, we did four. We got We just did four and we got 20 20 total to do. Slim dog just finished my set. Heck yeah. Busy ditch. Why not like the video while we're all sitting here? Hey, good question. Busy ditch. Yep. Hit that like button, guys. Appreciate you being here. Double tap that screen. Uh, that's our rest period again. A minute 8, right? And we'll time our sets. Wow. Ow. 46 seconds that time. F flowing for health says, "Buy something nice for your daughter." Hey, thanks for the channel support. You know that's going to be a given. Yep, she comes first.

Black abroat says, "Thoughts on training while being sick?" Well, I'm currently sick. I've been sick for like the last month. What am I supposed to do? Stop working out, right? Crazy talk. Boy, what a pump. My chest feels like a rock. This is so solid right now. Jeez, I barely want to move. Okay, here we go. Minute and 11. That was our rest period. Time our duration. Yes. Oo boy, that's a good pump. Feel it in your fingertips. Right. Yeah. Easy. What did I tell you? Huh? You do 1,000 push-ups, 50 reps per set, guaranteed you're going to see a change 100%. I don't think the body has a choice. It's such a mental exercise for me. You know, come to that like 30 rep mark, the next 20 I am I'm having a conversation with myself. One part of me says, "Stop. Just stop." Right? The other said other part of me says, "You're almost there, bro. Just 50 reps. You know what I mean? Every set around the 30 mark, 30 rep mark. That's the conversation. That's a conversation, I tell you. You too, y'all. do 50 slow. Listen, you guys that like to do that slow workouts, that's fine. It's not for me. You know, I try to do the slow workouts and I don't achieve this kind of pump. Nowhere near it. You know, half reps quickly as you can do it. The bigger the pump. Slow is fun, right? It just doesn't give you a pump. Yeah. That was 42 seconds. No, I I don't speak any other languages besides the English. Ah, yeah. Well, results speak for themselves, right? I ain't the first one to do this and I won't be the last. This is just how guys work out in the prison system, you know? Let's see. Yeah, here we go. That's a minute and again a minute and 11 rest period. I'm aiming for a minute, but we just keep on landing in a minute and 11. I'm trying to lessen lessen my rest period. Lessen my rest period. Oh yeah. Yeah. That's a good pump. That's a good pump. 30 seconds down, 30 seconds to go. We're getting there. We've done seven sets thus far. That's a rest period. Minute seven. Little less. Good. Good. Keep it whittling it down. What? Yeah. Yeah. How many push-ups left? 550. cuz you're doing it with me. All right, it's time to do it again. That's awesome. All right, I tell you what. It is. Yes. Yeah. It's a pump. It's a crazy pump. And that's our halfway point. 500 down, 500 to go. Mythism says, "How do you so many push-ups? My shoulders are in agony after 30." Yeah, that's the whole reason why my shoulders look so good, cuz they're they're they're really involved in everything that I do. They're involved in everything that I do.

Okay, that's a minute seven of a rest period. Reset it. Ah, Bro, See through the veils of maximum respect. Why don't I try modeling? Ah, ain't nothing to model. I ain't got time for that. I got push-ups to do. Rusty Bot, what's up? There's many different hand placements, guys. If you don't know what I'm doing, by utilizing my hands on an elevated surface, I'm getting a more fuller stretch, right? And then I'm just rocking that sweet spot. That's all I'm doing is just rocking the sweet spot. Yeah. Okay, that's our rest period. That was a minute 24 seconds. Yikes. Here we go. Wow. Oh yeah, that's a crazy pump. You know, the word's getting out there. People are starting to look at the strongest men, you know, around looking at their workouts like the most uniquely strongest men, right? They all do quarter rep, half rep, barely any kind of motion, right? Especially the arm wrestlers, right? It's amazing. That's the common factor. Everybody that utilizes it seems to be in that category of the uniquely strongest of the strong. you know, everybody who utilizes it. Trying to get you guys hip. Trying to get you guys hip. And it doesn't cost you a dime. All you got to do is get down and give me 20. And you'll know what I'm talking about. Minute 11 rest period. Yeah. Yeah. What's the benefit of not going all the way up? Do you see what I just did here? I went all the way up as a rest period, right? I took the pump off my chest by going into full range of motion. Still 010. It's a lot easier to do full range, guys. Get more of a pump on this quarter rep. Time out rest period. See, that set was a lot easier because I extended into the full range of motion rep for that momentary break. Live streams following along. Says I'm at 207 now. Heck yeah. It's good stuff. You're probably feeling an insane pump. Yep. Especially for the first time doing it. Please do 20 in full range. I don't have time. That's wasted effort. That's wasted energy in my opinion. Full range, man. You guys keep that for yourself. Yeah, easy. Bravo in the house. What's up? Why not do 40 reps per set on this first progression and then 50 on the second progression? Well, I've thus far completed 50 reps per set. I mean, if I could do it, why not, right? Why do less when I can do more? I believe I believe wholeheartedly that reaching the signals, activating the signals of fatigue, of failure, and then pushing through it. That really does something. It It forces a change to happen. You got You got to be failing, right? Cuz like it like if you're not failing, it's like you're just sitting back in a lazy chair. What's going to cause you to grow if you're comfortable, right? You got to hit those failure points to you got to be uncomfortable. Yeah. I mean, you you at least you don't have to reach 50, but you got to try and you got to hit that failure point. hitting that failure point, you know, and battling your self rhetoric in between, you know, telling yourself to keep going, keep going. You know what I mean? That's all it's all good exercise mentally, physically.

Oh my god. See, I'm just going to do this thousand reps every day. And then I'm only going to stay in this quarter rep range of motion. And I'm going to be making gains on top of gains on top of gains on top of gains. Yep, that's the plan. Yeah, I don't mess around with the full rep range of motion. It's I only do that when I'm fully exhausted. I'll release the pump that's built up from the quarter rep. When the pump gets too insane, then I'll go into a full range of motion to to pass the pump onto my triceps or somewhere else, you know, just release the pump. Full range of motion uh is not good for gains. It's just not, you know. Yeah, you're not you're never going to see full range of motion on my channel. It doesn't happen. I only stick with what works for me. I only do it when I'm fully exhausted and I can't I can't maintain my quarter rep range of motion any longer is when I you I I I I step back, right? I do the easier workout, the full range of motion, right? Yeah. Yeah. Well, they're all good questions. There's no such thing as a bad question, right? I'm trying to educate people about what I learned on how to get built with push-ups in the prison system. This is how everybody did it with the the quarter rep, the half rep range of motion, right? Everybody did it this way. Yep. Full range of motion won't cut quick. Yeah. Well, I mean, when when you're adding it up, right, it's just less time under tension per muscle group. That's what a full range of motion rep is, right? Opposed to keeping the time under tension on one muscle the entire time, right? It's just that simple. Live stream or live. Sam says he's at 227 right now. Heck yeah. No, I understand the confusion. I was taught full range of motion as well. But when I put the work in, I got results with the half rep and the quarter rep. Far greater than the full range. Trust me, I tried the full range. It just doesn't yield great results. I lost track of how many that even was. That's why I can't be talking. No, it's all good. It's all good. Welcome to the chat. I'm not even going to pull a card for that set cuz I lost track. I lost count. So, it doesn't even count. I'm not going to not going to flip a card for that one. Depends on what your goal is, right? Let's see. True priorities adds to the discussion. Says, "Depends on what your goal is, right? I feel like full range is better for when you're practicing martial arts. Yeah. Well, I mean, it's good to get that muscle memory of martial arts, I would think, you know, but anything can be broken down, right? All it is is I'm taking a full range of motion and breaking down the muscle groups and training them individually. That's all it is, right? So, instead of having a compound workout with the full range of motion, I'm isolating the muscle group to get a better pump. And honestly, I mean, what you're talking about is hypothetical and it and honestly, it goes against Bruce Lee, you know, in his training methods cuz he did a lot of isolated training, you know, and he was a pretty good martial artist if you ask me, you know, he he he utilized that isolation heavily, heavily, right? It seems that the most unique and strongest people in the world use this isolation method, right? And I don't think they're unique people. I think they're just utilizing the method.

There we go. That's far too much of a ref period. You know what Frank says? I did Mu Thai for seven years and we did 1,000 push-ups every session before drills. Yeah. You know, when I did karate, all we did is do like a hundred kicks, you know, like you stand up, leg up, kick it out, retract, put it down, leg up, kick it out, retract, put it down. Just do that like a over and over. It's like the one punch man, you know? You know, just train, train, train. Just like all them anime characters, all they do is train, train, train. Yep. There's our minute rest. And we can count that one. Let's see how much we got left to go. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven more sets to reach our thousand reps. That's all. thousand in one set, not in one shot. I do the thousand in one set, too. I mean, I do that. I think it's easier to do a thousand while in one set while remaining in the plank than to do this. I think this is tougher. Let's see. But it's fun. I mean, it's tough in its own way, you know, while remaining in a plank position. I think it's fun. I think it's fun to do. flowing for health or following for health says been doing martial arts for 56 years in short range will get you stronger jacked and more explosive much faster. faster than full range. You know, it reminds me of the 2 in or what is it the 1in punch or is it the 2-in punch? Um Bruce Le, you know, he only trained that that point that moment the moment of impact and digging in, right? That's where he trained. Amazing. He didn't he didn't do the full He didn't do none of that. did a lot of isolating workouts like pulling as hard as you can, you know, stuff like that. Yeah, exactly. Exactly. You know who can do that one in punch? My brother Justin Pollock. Yeah. Pretty freaking amazing. Pretty freaking amazing. Um, that dude surprises me every time. Hey, where is Miluno? Milano. Hey, welcome to the chat. Ashley says, "You skipped me." I don't know. Did I skip something? Did I count these? I didn't count it. Boom. Beeping Jesse's timer. Yep. Yep. Yep. Yep. Not kinfolk. Huh? I I get in the middle of these conversations and they don't make any sense. Good stuff. Yeah, I spent six and a half years locked up. That's how I learned this. This is what everybody does. Ladybird. $5. Says you are an angel and synchronicity. Synronicity Ladybird. Thanks for the channel supports. Five more to go, guys. We'll have our thousand in. We'll probably do a couple extra just to make up for the slop accumulated along the way. Said your live popped up right when I drove past a planet fitness. Heck yeah. You got to listen to all those you got to listen to all those little uh signs and signals from the universe, right? It's time. I bet you this time of year those gyms be packed. You know, everybody making New Year's resolutions and whatnot, but it's only packed for a couple months. It's a good time to keep your eyes out for workout equipment, too. come January or February because people buy themselves a lot of things to work out with and then they end up just hanging their laundry off of it, right? Like it's a big clothing rack before they get sick enough to sell it and they'll pretty much let it go pretty pretty cheap because it's a big clumsy thing. You know, Jimmy says, "I remember in the county I hit a thousand every meal and 500 in wreck and 1,000 after showers." Yeah, there's a lot of push-ups to do, right? When you're locked up. What else is there to do, right? Okay, let's get it. Good. Good. What's your supplement lineup? Um, vitamin D3, zinc, magnesium, boron, creatine, MSM, and baking soda. Yep. And sometimes vitamin C. I do all that. Deion Daily, what is up? Welcome to the chat. Make sure you guys take the time to check out Dion Sty's channel. Fine example of consistency and discipline. Minute duration. Let's do it. Let's do it. I'm feeling it. Wait. Can't pull it. Not yet. Oh no. Mhm. live. Sam says, "The voices start creeping in now." Jess saying saying to me, "Stop. I'm at 287. Let's go, Jess. Heck yeah. Yeah, I'm fighting those voices every every set. Every set I get to like 30, I say, "Take a break." Then I get to 40, I say, "Come on, just take a break." And then I'm like, "You're almost there. You're almost there. Keep going." You know, did we flip it? Here we go. We got three sets left, guys. Tell you what, that is the discipline. Fighting fighting your mentality to tell you stop, right? Just so long as you're not hurting yourself. You know what I mean? I'm talking about gaining discipline here, you know? Good. Oh. Yeah, we're getting We're getting there. Three more sets, I think. Maybe two. Got three sets left. Oh, now I'm feeling my triceps. It's like my triceps are Ah, taking over. My lats are getting engaged now. Hey, appreciate Ashes. Thanks for the channel support. Apex says, "Do you want to be a YouTuber? I guess so." Yeah. Yeah. It's got its ups and downs just like anything. But I feel like if you do what you love, then you're not working a day in your life. You know, feel like a lot of a lot of things that I've done was more like a prison sentence than a job. Like when I did my asbestous and hazardous material removal, boy, I hated that job. But I did it for years. Yeah, once I found tree climbing, the tree care industry, boy, I fell in love with that job. I love working with trees. Finding a job that you love to work with is the greatest thing you can do, honestly. Otherwise, you're like volunteering for prison. You know what? You might as well do what you like. Tree climbing is fun. It's like a strongman competition every day. You know, you're doing amazing things. I don't do tree work every day, though. Not anymore. Trees are amazing, though. I I a lot of respect. Oh my goodness. I feel like I could throw up at this point. We got two cards left. Oh man, that's tough. Boy, you know, we've been doing it, man. We've been doing it. We got one car left. We showed some good effort today. There's a lot of room room for improvements. All right, we're just going to be in the process of doing this every day and get better at it as we go. So, the way I'm thinking is we're going to continue with this thousand every day and then once we reach like a fatigue level, we'll do it every other day. But, we should be able to make some um gains pretty quickly doing it every day. Now we're on the last card of the deck. It's going to represent 50. But you want to guess what it is? This last card of the deck is a what? What is this last card? Hey, real Gooa C, what's up? Thanks for the channel support. Says you're a G, bro. Keep it up. $27.99. Thanks, man. Real G. Appreciate you. Let's see. Chris says a seven. King says a seven. Following for health says an eight. Raja an ace. Everyday media seven. Ashley. What is it? I don't know. Sandra Ford an eight. John says a joker. You guys ready? This is a jack. 10 on deck is the last card. But jack's the last card. I'm going to do 50. This is the thousand reps. And we'll probably do like another set after this just to, you know, seal the deal, make make up for whatever slop that was accumulated along the way. Where are we going? So that's our thousand reps and we'll just do one more just because now we're sucker free. Yep. If you guys like to get a deck of cards, check out my suckerfree store.com. Appreciate all the channel support. Do 10 more. I'm going to do 50 more. Right. I'm just going to do 50 more. Make up for the slop. Yeah. So, this is the exact workout. This is the exact workout that I did to build my physique in the prison system when I first started, you know, being a because everybody was doing 50 reps a set around me, you know, doing these thousand rep workouts and that was just the average like the average prison guy in their top physique can do this uh anytime, anywhere. And that's how I used to be. And I've kind of like really really got off track, right? So, I'm getting back to basics here. I'm just going to do 1,000 reps every day until I reach like a failure point and then I'll reduce it and I'll do it every other day, right? And then we'll maintain that way. How long did it take to be able to push a,000? Oh, it happens pretty quickly. Uh, I mean, you just got to work out every day, right? Just do the best that you can every day, right? I used to work out two times a day in prison. Morning wreck and evening wreck, right? Just do my push-ups. That was it. Okay. Okay. That's all. All right. Let's do it. Let's do one more set just to make up for the slot that was accumulate accumulated along the way. Please Good stuff. Good stuff.
