[Music] Do a little bit of shopping and more. My [Music] position. I feel so much lighter. [Music] Welcome to my channel. My name is Brianna, and today is our first official day back in Korea. This is my third time here, and I'm traveling with Lonnie, and we are so incredibly jet-lagged. It's like 7:30 a.m. right now, but I've been up since 2. So we just got ready, and we're at Cafe Onion right now because we're staying in Bukchon Village this time. And yeah, this is my first time at this location, but welcome back to the Korea Diaries. [Music] They just brought these out, and they look incredible. They smell so good too. Sweet treat and a coffee. I got the cream cheese bread. It smells incredible. It smells so good. It's garlic. It's garlic cheese. And I just got a regular croissant and an oat milk. Yay. I wonder what is this? So Onion Choice. I think it has like cream inside. This is all powdered sugar. I just got a vanilla oat latte. First sip of this. [Music] Coffee doesn't. It's good. Yeah, but it's not not too sweet. So that's why the size is so big, cuz then you can eat more of it. [Music] And I came across one of these self-served like photo studios, and of course, they have all the accessories, and then also things to get ready. Most places in Korea will have like a kind of straightener or a curler for your hair, and then hair brushes, and no one steals anything, even though this place is self-served. And we always try to do a photo booth before we like blow up and stuff like that. I kind of like the sloth on you. Like how it has a little. I like this. [Music] One big cut. We picked a photo booth with like beauty filters, so we can go lighter or like skinnier. [Music] [Music] Lonnie and I are now in Namdaemun, which is a wholesale store, and first of all, it's so packed. It's so busy in here, and there's like walls and walls of accessories. We also found a lot of really cute scarves. This is our basket. It's literally full already. Like, guys, this is insane. Look how many there are. And there's another aisle with all the stuff, and another aisle, just aisles and aisles of accessories. It's kind of insane how many there are. And this is just a wall of bows and more bows and headbands and like hair accessories. Finding a cute keychain was on my bucket list, and this one was $2.50. So I actually want to get this one. They also have all of the handmade ones, and these ones are $11.50. This one is a carrot, and this one has a pumpkin. Stop. That's so cute. Look at this whole entire wall of like plush keychains. So on this purse, I already have three things on it. I have this from Sendoo, this also from Sendoo, and then this one that I got from Asley. So I don't need any more for my purse, but I need some for my Cady. Okay, we might have found a keeper. I really like that. Actually, it's [Music] adorable. This is so exciting. What's your name? S. It's so nice to meet you. S. So cute. E. Oh my [Music] gosh. I didn't really get to give you guys a full look of my new hair, but we just did the 18-step scalp detox and like premium hair treatment, and honestly, like my roots feel so much lighter. I feel like my head's just literally on a cloud. It also feels way better because before it was kind of dry, but now it feels super smooth and like moisturized. So I'm really happy. Now I'm in this anime and figurine store because my favorite one that I was in Hongdae that I visited multiple times when I was last in Korea, and also where I got my desk figurines, which you guys are always asking where I got them from. They're from a certain store that closed down, so I'm just at the next best thing. I just like searched it, and it looks like they have almost pretty much the same selection. I wonder if it's the same people, but I just can't tell. So what I'm looking for are Utah. This music is so loud. What I'm looking for are Don't Look Up characters from Jujutsu Kaisen. So they have Nezuko right here, which I didn't even know that they did that. They also have this guy down here, but these prices are almost double what I paid previously. They have Sasori. He looks so good. They have so many. Okay, that was kind of a bummer. They don't have what I'm looking for at all, but I did ask if they know of any other stores that might have what I'm looking for, which are the Don't Look Up figurines, so I might go there instead. Lonnie and I are in Hongdae, and we just got a fish cake. It was [Music] 1500 won. What do you think? What was it that you said? Texture was better yesterday. Flavor is better today. It's even a little spicy. A little like black pepper taste. Yeah, no, it's good. [Music] There are literally [Music] so, so. At our color analysis, I was told that I'm an Autumn. My color analysis is such a big thing in Korea. Like, people live by it. So the makeup companies have also like developed it and obviously like developed their shades accordingly. So you can see here, it's like Summer Cool, Winter Cool. I'm in Autumn Warm. So this is the shade that they recommended me. This is my favorite sunscreen brand, right in the center of Sunscreen Beauty of Joseon, the number one seller from Olive Young. This spot's patch section is actually so good for me because I've been breaking out because of travel. My skin is so dry, and I think I'm going to get this one, which is supposed to help with dark spots. And you guys know I struggle with a little bit of dark spots on my chin because your girl is always picking there. Hopefully this helps because I do have like an active breakout right now, and so I'm going to want to get rid of the scarring. Okay, hey guys, so we made it over to Gloy in Itaewon, and we are so lucky that we're going to have a little shopping spree and check out some of their pieces for the fall and winter season. And I have seen Gloy's pieces online for a while, and so I'm super excited to be with them today. This is my little outfit going up to the second floor. And so this is in your wardrobe. It's so cute. And then also they're showing off their shoes, which I think are really cute. Like, I love a little ballet flat. But I love the mannequins, and this is adorable. Just looks. This is like, this bag is a really unique. I think the name of this is Puff. [Music] Print. This looks so good. [Music] Good morning, guys. It is day 5, 6 of Korea. I'm not actually quite sure. I just woke up and I did very minimal everyday makeup, and honestly, my brow shape is a little questionable. I think they're definitely cousins or sisters or whatever, cuz they're not twins. But right now, I'm headed to Juno Hair again because last time I was there, I got an 18-step scalp detox, and today I am getting a digital perm or like a wave perm. They are different. I just don't know which one I'm getting yet. And then my bangs were trimmed, but I'm going to get them trimmed a little bit more, and then also permed. So this is my hair before. Honestly, looks pretty good because I got it styled yesterday. Naturally, my hair is just, there's like a slight wave. I'll put a photo up on screen so you guys can see what it looks like on a good day, but most days unstyled, it looks pretty flat. [Music] [Music] Here. Done. I love it. So maybe I did do a little bit of shopping. This is everything that I bought from the last week. But first, I want to show you guys my hair. I'm so happy with how it came out because I'm not even going to lie to you, my Japanese perm was not it. I was just looking back at it since the last time I got a perm in Korea, and I loved when I got my perm the first time, but the second time that I got, and every single time that I got a haircut, I just kind of fell out of love with those curls. And this one is so much better and more my vision of what I wanted. But yeah, this is the [Music] hair. We'll start off with Juno Hair. I got my favorite curl cream that Juno Hair sells, and it smells so good, and it actually hydrates your hair. And then I got two jumbo sizes of the shampoo and hair treatment, AKA their conditioner. And then from Olive Young, I got a new mascara, and then I just got these micro-dart pimple patches. And in Myeongdong, we went to Mini Brand, just like a big department store. And this is one thing that I really love about Korean in-stores is that there is only one of everything on the floor, and so you're not like sifting through all these different sizes. Like, you just try on the one size, and it's usually like a medium or a large, and then when you check out, they give you a brand new one like from the back. So anyways, from Mini Brand, I got two skirts that you've already seen me wear. I got this gray like bubble skirt. It has these two cute little bows in the front. This is a black corduroy mini skirt. I think Lonnie and I have matching in this one. It's a gray pleated skirt. And the last thing that I got from Mini Brand is this like heather grayish blue cardigan. And then we went to Namdaemun, which was kind of an overstimulating, like maximalist dream. It's a wholesale store, so that's why there's so much stuff, but it's also all sold at a really good price. Lonnie and I both got scarves. This one kind of reminds me of Neapolitan ice cream. And I also got two keychains. I got this one. It's a little like bear farmer, and it has a carrot, and it kind of reminds me of like my character from Stardew Valley because I love collecting carrots. And then I got this little bow and pearl keychain for 2500 won. And then I got a pair of just like pajama pants, and these were 13,000 won. Then my last thing that I got from Namdaemun was this top, and it was, I'm not telling you how much that was. Okay, bear with me, guys. You have to see the vision. Okay, I saw it on the mannequin, and it was the last one, and I was like, "Hey, like, can I like try that on?" And the girl's like looking all over. She's like looking up the stock on her phone, and she's like, "Oh, that's the last one." And I was like, "Okay." And then she like walks away, and then I'm like checking out, and it's a different girl checking me out. So I'm like, I point at the mannequin again, and I'm like, "I really like that shirt. Like, do you know if I could buy it?" And she's like, "Okay." And then she like takes it off the mannequin, and I'm like, like, "Okay, like, thank you. I really wanted that shirt." It's like an asymmetrical neckline, and it has like really long sleeves, and the vision is that I have this like asymmetrical hem skirt that I really want to wear it with. The last place that we went to was Gloy, and you guys already know that these were gifted to us because they were so sweet. I already started wearing this bomber jacket. It's like metal. I think that's such a nice detail. It's like nice and oversized, and I feel like it's actually perfect for winter. I also got one of the asymmetrical tops that they sold, so it kind of like droops down on this side, and then you can tie the ribbons to make a bow on one of the shoulders, and I think it's actually really, really pretty. And then this might be my favorite thing that I got from Gloy. It's this yarn cardigan, and it's one of the softest sweaters that I've tried on, and I think the pattern and the color is so pretty, and it's like not cropped or anything, like it's a proper oversized sweater. And then Lonnie and I got matching Gloy cases. It's like denim. It has like a little like pocket, so it looks like a pair of jeans. And I'm going to open it right now. I think it's so cute. Pretty. I love it. So that is my week one Korea haul. Slade. [Music] [Laughter] [Music]
