Let me tell you a secret. Most people never master a British accent, even if they practice a lot. Do you know why? Because they use boring and impractical methods that simply don't work.

But here's the good part. You're different. You've just found a video that gives you [music] simple, fun, and proven way to improve your accent, listening, and speaking skills. As a bonus, you'll learn some impressive vocabulary [music] for your conversations.

You can't learn about yourself properly. You can't learn about yourself properly. You can't learn about yourself properly. If you were that befuddled by a substance such as alcohol, you can't learn about yourself properly if you are that befuddled by a substance such as alcohol. Befuddled to be completely confused or unable to think clearly.

You can't step out of that. You can't step out of that. You can't step out of that. Those layers of an onion. Those layers of an onion. Those layers of an onion and see yourself. You can't do the work if that's going on. You can't do the work if that's going on. You can't do the work if that's going on.

Um, so now having, you know, been sober a number of years, I really know myself more. Sober. Sober, not drunk or under the influence of alcohol. I know the processes that are going on. I know the processes that are going on. I know that when I slip into a kind of depression, and that it is temporary. I know that when I slip into a kind of depression that it is temporary. To slip into depression. Kit uses slip into to describe how depression can happen quietly and gradually.

It's incredibly important to know. [music] It's incredibly important to know.

People often talk about uh [music] change. People often talk about change. You're getting to know oneself and getting to know oneself. As an incredibly positive experience. It's an incredibly positive experience which eventually it is. But it has to be hard won. Like painful first. Like good permanent. Well hopefully permanent. Solid change. Takes a pain. A painful experience. Like good permanent hopefully permanent solid change takes a painful experience. A solid change. A real strong and lasting change, not something temporary or weak.

I used to feel like this. I used to attach when I was drinking. The idea of a leopard never changes its spot. And someone once told me, "Oh, a leopard does change its spots." Twice in its life. And that meant everything to me. I was like, "I can change." It's going to take a momentous effort. But I can change. It's going to take a momentous effort. But I can change. Momentous effort. A very great and important effort that can change things significantly.

Yeah. And we can't think the same way forever. We're not programmed. Or our brains aren't programmed. In one way forever. No.
