They thought they got away with it. And maybe you wondered the same thing. How can someone lie, manipulate, break your trust, walk away, and act like nothing ever happened? It looks like they won. It looks like they escaped.
But what if you're measuring the wrong thing? Because getting away with something and becoming the kind of person who keeps repeating the same destructive patterns are two very different things. Sometimes the greatest consequences isn't something that happens to a person. It's what happens within them.
