I Want To Be Filled | Evangelist Chris Green

I want to read a portion of scripture that most of you would be familiar with, but I just feel it relevant for this service today. Acts chapter 2. Amen. What a mighty God we serve. Somebody say, "Man!" What a mighty God we serve. If I start singing, church will start splitting in two, but they used to sing that old song, "What a mighty God we serve." Angels bow before Him, heaven and earth adore Him. What a mighty God we serve. How many of you know we serve a mighty God?

Thank you, CLC, for the invitation to be here. We love you guys. It's great to be back. Hard to believe it's been about a year since we were here last time. Just goes by so quickly. And I was just telling Pastor Enzi a few moments ago that yesterday or the day before, my son, who's three now, of course, last year he was two, but he was telling my family once he realized where we were going. My wife told him, "We're going to the Enzi's church." And he said, "Is Lincoln going to be there?" He said, "Yeah, Lincoln." He said, "Is Avery and Grant going to be there?" He said, "Yeah." He started telling my mom, my dad, and my grandma. He said, "I'm going to see Lincoln and Avery and Grant." And then he told them, he said, "I'm going to the church that gives me all the toys." So we were blessed when we got to the hotel, and they had a gift basket just for him with his name on it. Man, it was like Christmas all over again. Christmas. And are we in September now? That's weird. Christmas in September. Amen.

But it feels like a Pentecost Sunday here this morning at church. The Holy Ghost is here. That's why I feel so impressed to the Lord to read this verse of scripture to you in Acts 2, verse 1. "And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house. And it filled all the house." That's my burden today. "And it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it set upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance."

I, Pastor, had asked me about a title and all this. And and I, I, I guess my title is, "I want to be filled." But as we were worshiping, I just kept feeling the Holy Ghost say, "I want to refresh somebody today. There's a refreshing here today." And so if you want to be filled with His Spirit one more time, would you lift a hand to the Lord and just let Him know, "God, I'm here to be filled. Not with entertainment, not with just a song, or not even just a sermon, but I'm here to be filled today with Your Spirit." There's a lot of things I need. I need direction. I need deliverance. I need healing. I need financial direction. And I need help in my family. But I've got to be filled. I'm tired of being dry. I'm tired of being weary. I want to be filled. Oh, yes. There's a praise in the house. Would you go ahead and clap your hands? And would you lift up your voice with praise one more time? Everybody say, "In Jesus' name." You may be seated for just a few moments.

There is a refreshing of the Lord here this morning. And I really don't have a sermon, but just to bring you what I just feel in the Holy Ghost. It was John the Baptist in Matthew 3 and 11, when he said, "I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He that comes after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear. He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire." Been a common theme in my spirit throughout the year that we're living today, 2020. The theme of the Lord in my spirit has been this concept and doctrine and principle and promise of being filled with the fire of the Holy Ghost. Being filled with the fire of the Holy Ghost.

On January the 2nd, 2020, seems like 10 years ago now, my plane was coming down into Australia. First stop was Sydney. Had to lay over there before heading to my final stop in the nation's capital of Canberra, where they would be holding the General Conference there of Australia. My wife and I have been so thankful to be able to visit Australia on several occasions, minister there. And I was so thankful because we've, we've traveled throughout Australia to many different churches there. But this would be an event to remember, because now we would be at the General Conference, where every church we had been to throughout that nation would be in one place, where we could see everybody. And ministers and friends that we've made over the years would be in one place, worshiping the Lord together. And I was so excited, looking forward to this event.

And as I began my descent into that nation, looking out my window, you couldn't see anything. There was zero visibility because of the smoke and the fires that were ravaging the nation, even still going today. I forget the number now, how many millions of, uh, square miles have been covered by these devastating fires. Billions of animals have been killed. Thousands of lives have been killed. And here I am, coming for such a momentous occasion as this national conference, and yet it coincided with the nation's greatest devastation, these wildfires raging out of control. And and I thought, "God, what in the world is going on? Why, why am I here?" You ever asked that question? "Why am I here? Why now?"

And I remember getting settled in my hotel room. And had, we had church that first night. There were no fires in the city of Canberra, but the smoke was starting to come in. And and, um, Brother Alan Shawn, a missionary in Asia, preached the first night. And I remember going to the altar myself, praying. And and the Lord began to put this burden in my spirit, being filled with the fire of His Spirit. Not just having a one-time experience that I can remember as an eight-year-old boy being filled with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues, which cannot be belittled. But yet, the Lord was putting on my heart a burden to go deeper than just a one-time experience, or even an everyday occurrence that had become tradition and ritual in my routine of relationship with God. But something that went beyond the tradition, something that went beyond what I could plan, because you can't plan a fire. You can't contain a fire out of control. The Lord put that in my spirit that I, I want you to be filled with this fire of My Spirit. A fire that cannot be quenched. A fire that cannot be controlled. A fire that cannot be planned. A fire of My Spirit that can burn whenever it wants to burn.

And I began to pray that night at the altar. And the Lord just gave me this simple word that said, "Prepare your spirit, because everything's about to change." He didn't tell me of a COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, but none of that stuff. He didn't tell me about riots and chaos and anything of that sort. He just said, "Prepare your spirit. Everything's about to change." I wrote it down. I called my wife, who was back home in Texas, and I, I said, "The Lord spoke to me so strongly tonight to begin to prepare. Something is about to change." In fact, the Lord said, "Everything is about to change."

And it was the next morning, at about 3:00 in the morning, I was, uh, awakened out of my sleep by the sound of a fire alarm going off in my hotel room. And then the lady comes over the PA system and says, "Everything's okay. Don't be alarmed. The alarm is going off." She says, "Don't be alarmed. There's a national, I mean, a nationwide fire, and the fire alarm is going off." And she says, "Don't be alarmed." Okay. She says, "There is no fire in the hotel. We'll turn the fire alarm off quickly." And an hour goes by. And I know this church is more spiritual than me, but at 3:00 in the morning, when the fire alarm's going off for an hour, I didn't speak in tongues. And in fact, I might have even lost a little bit of my Holy Ghost because I called the front desk, said a few Christian curse words, and I'm kidding. And I just said, "What is the deal here? It's been an hour. Can you guys not get this thing turned off?" She said, "Well, the problem is, is we have to wait for the fire department to come and turn it off." I said, "Well, where are they at? It's been an hour. What are they doing?" You know. She said, "Well, every building in the city has smoke, and the fire alarms are going off all over the city." And she said, "There's only so many firefighters, and there's only a couple of fire departments, and they're having to go to every city to turn off and shut down every fire alarm in the city." She said, "We're just waiting our turn." I said, "All right."

They finally got it shut off. And I'm dozed off to sleep. And woke up, and maybe another hour later, a phone call from the General Superintendent of Australia, informing me. He said, "I'm sorry to tell you, but General Conference, as of now, is canceled. Hopefully, it's just postponed." But he said, "We just went to the convention center, and the convention center is full of smoke, and we can't even go into the convention center because it is so full of smoke. We could not even go in the door." He said, "So right now, General Conference is canceled."

What amazed me about being there is, is that we had assumed that the attendance of that conference would, would have gone down because of the fires that were all over the nation. And and they were concerned about who would even show up to church. But what convicted me was to see the passion and the desire of that nation and the apostolic people of Australia, when, uh, minister after minister came to me, telling me their story of, of how their, their house had already caught fire. Or ministers that had told me that they knew that they would return from General Conference, uh, uh, having their house burned down that week. And in fact, one minister showed me the video that was sent to him by one of his neighbors that said, "If you want to save your belongings in your house, or the things in your house, you better come now, because the fires are in our neighborhood." And he said, "My wife and I looked at each other and said, 'We ain't going home. We've come here to see our children filled with the gift of the Holy Ghost, and we're not leaving until they are filled with the Holy Ghost.'" Hallelujah, Jesus.

And so, conference was canceled. They said, "Stay in your room." And I, I struggle with the rules. So I went outside. And I had to see it for myself. And it is in the middle of downtown Canberra, with skyscrapers and large buildings. And I'm standing on the sidewalk of my hotel, and you couldn't see the buildings on the other side of the street because of how much smoke had filled that city overnight. I went back to my room. And I remember just laying on the floor and beginning to pray. And I said, "All right, God. Well, they said stay in your room. So here I am. And what's going on, God?" And I began to pray. And I began to read the word. Can you get Second Chronicles chapter 7, verse 1 through 3 for me?

And I began to read the word of the Lord. And and I had no intention of even going to this scripture. And because I, I remember, as most of you might know, Second Chronicles 7:14, that tells us, you know, "If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face, turning from their wicked ways, He said, I hear from heaven." But preceding that verse of scripture, I began to read in Second Chronicles 7 and verse 1, in the middle of the fires that were keeping us out of this convention center. I began to read. And forgive me, I've got it here in the New King James. And it says, "When Solomon had finished praying, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices." Fire came down. Somebody say that with me: "Fire came down." Okay, you'll get that in a second. "Fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices." And the sacrifices. And the sacrifices.

Can I just go on a little rabbit trail for just a second and let you know? They, they made me do a little promotional video. And that morning, when I woke up, I just felt the Lord speak to me or impress in my heart and say, "Because of the sacrifices of this church, He said, the wind of My Spirit is going to blow, and there shall be a harvest in that church. There shall be a harvest in that city because of their sacrifice." I really want you to hear that right now, because it's not by your faith. It's not. Some of you have said, "But I haven't had a lot of faith." In fact, there's been times I've had more fear than I've had faith. There's been more times that I've had more unbelief than I've had belief. I've had more doubt than I have believed. I haven't had a whole lot of faith. But the Lord said, "It's not by your faith. It's not even by your anointing. It's not even by your ability. But because of the price that you have paid, because of your sacrifice in the midst of the storm, God says, 'I'm about to speak a word that says, Peace, be still.' And when the wind shuts up, and the waves go blasted, there shall be a harvest of souls."

I feel like I gotta just continue this, this little rabbit trail for a second, because the Lord showed me that when God gave the instructions to Noah, God showed this to me this morning. When God gave the instructions to Noah of what He was going to do in the midst of the storm, you find it in Genesis chapter 7. He says, "I, I want you to do it like this and do it like that." And in verse 2, he says, "To take with you seven pairs, a male and female, of each animal I have approved for eating and for sacrifice." Watch what He says. That's in the New Living Translation. He says, "It, I'm, I'm wanting you to go get the animals not just to spare the animals right now, and not just spare your flesh, not just for eating, nutrition, and sustenance, but for sacrifice." Because when you're, oh God, when you're on that boat, and the rain begins to stop, the poor, and the storm begins to blow, and all of a sudden you feel that loneliness in your spirit, that nobody is there to help. There's no more doctors. There's no more rehab facilities. There's no more prayer groups. It's just you on that boat in the middle of the storm. He said, "You've got to have something to sacrifice, because it's your sacrifice that's going to give direction to the boat." It is your sacrifice. Oh, listen to me, somebody. It might have been your faith that got you on the boat. It might have been your faith that got you to church. But it is your sacrifice in the midst of the storm that's going to let you see. Ah, it's going to let you see the anointing on the other side of the storm.

And this morning, man, I had a good breakfast this morning, because the Lord was speaking to me in Leviticus. God is giving Moses the instructions. And He's telling him, He says, "It was in the wilderness." I'm paraphrasing, but it was in the wilderness where I taught you how to sacrifice. It was in the wilderness that I taught you how to sacrifice. Moses speaks, Leviticus 7:38, "He said, 'The Lord gave us these, what? These instructions at Sinai when He commanded the Israelites.'" Watch this now. "To present their offerings to the Lord." Where? "In the wilderness." The wilderness did not exempt them from sacrifice. The wilderness is where they learned how to sacrifice. Come on, somebody. It was your faith that got you through the Red Sea, but it's your sacrifice that's gonna reveal the direction for the Promised Land. Okay, rabbit trail over.

Go back to Second Chronicle 7. He says, "The fire fell on the burnt offerings and the sacrifices, and the glory of the Lord filled the temple." Verse 2. "And the priests could not enter the house of the Lord because the glory of the Lord had filled the Lord's house." Are you hearing it? Verse 3. "Watch this now. This is the response of the church." "When all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down." Somebody say, "The fire came down." Now everybody say, "Came down." What's so significant about that? Let's keep reading. "And the glory of the Lord on the temple, they bowed their faces on the ground on the pavement." Have you ever put your face on pavement? I have. In fact, it was a police officer that put my face on the pavement. Don't hear that from the pulpit many times. I don't think I've ever shared this story publicly, but it's just on me to confess. I was in college. I had backslidden, and I was forward sliding now, heading back to God. I had a book in my hand, one of these Christian books. I think it's, is it "The Seven People You Meet in Heaven"? Does that sound familiar? I hadn't read it since, but it's a good, it was a good book. I'm literally in the back seat of my friend's car. "The Seven People You Meet in Heaven." I stayed at his house for a week, and every night he'd go out partying, smoking, and drinking. And I'd read that book. "Seven People You Meet in Heaven." He said, "Man, why aren't you partying anymore?" Come on. I said, "Man, I got to read this book. This book's got a hold of me." We get in his car to drive back, uh, to college for baseball season. And, uh, we're going through this border patrol, this border spot, whatever, in El Paso, Texas. And, uh, we're like four or five cars back. And they got the dogs out today, the drug dogs. And no joke, we're like four or five cars back. And he says, "Oh, shoot. They got the dogs." I said, "What's wrong with that?" He said, "Well," he said, "uh, I've been smoking marijuana in the car." He said, "I don't have any in the car, but they can usually smell it if it's been in the car." Sure enough, the dog looks up like this, four or five cars back, and he just starts running to our car. I start pleading the blood of Jesus. Jesus, Jesus, Jesus. That dog jumps up on the hood. And just, this friend of mine, he had a pipe in the car that had a little bit of marijuana residue, and the dog could smell that from four cars away. Those cops pulled us out of the car and threw us to the pavement. He put his foot on my back, and my face was on the pavement. I said, "All of that to say this: when you put your face on the pavement, it's not comfortable." Was that deep? Or was that deep? Parents just heard that story about six months ago when it happened. About 12 years ago. You know, I waited just long enough. Got a wife and a son now. They can't do nothing. My wife can do something, but they can't do nothing. I see some young people laughing. They're thinking, "Yeah, I got a few more years before my mom hears about that story."

When your face is on the pavement, it's not an average prayer. When your face is on the pavement, it's not an ordinary Sunday morning service. Forgive me for preaching hard on the first service of Revival 2020. But when you just clap your hands, or lift a hand, or just pace back and forth, that might be an ordinary service. But when the power of the Holy Ghost shows up, I said, when the Lord speaks, when the voice of Shekinah shows up, you begin to tremble and shake. I can't even clap anymore. I can't even shout anymore. All I can do is put my face on the pavement. All I can do is sacrifice. They put their face. Do we have it? Second Chronicles 7 and 3. "They bowed their faces on the pavement and worshiped and praised the Lord, saying, 'For He is good, for His mercy endureth forever.'"

I don't know if you're hearing me right now, but listen to what happened. Huh. The pastors of the synagogue showed up to church on that day. I just like to see it like it was supposed to be an average Sunday morning. But they had been praying and fasting. They had been sacrificing. They had been offering sacrifices unto the Lord. And when the pastor showed up and tried to go in, he saw the glory and the fire of God that had filled the building. And he said, "Well, I can't go in the building today." Can't go into the building today. So he and his pastoral team, they just stood on the sidewalk, thinking, "What are we going to tell the saints when they can't sit in that normal seat of theirs? And they can't sit in that padded pew where they sit in that same section they've been sitting for the last eight years? Man, they're gonna lose the Holy Ghost when they don't get to sit in the same seat."

Man, that hit right there, didn't it? Can hit some Pentecostals right between the eyes when you start talking about your assigned seating. I can become your least favorite evangelist by having everybody stand up and move over here. Y'all move over here. Y'all hate me for that. I can say, "Y'all need to give $10,000 per person." You say, "Okay, we'll do it." If I say, "Move seats," you're thinking, "Oh, Jesus." Pastoral staff standing outside. And now here comes the people to church. And they start, you know, riding their donkeys and walking barefoot to church. And I don't know how far they were when they started seeing the fire. But somewhere down the road, they started looking up and they said, "Hey, is our building on fire?" And then one of the spiritual ladies who really noticed it, she said, "No, I don't think the building's on fire, because the fire's not going up. The fire's coming down." Have you ever seen fire come down? I've only ever seen fire go up. That's a physical fire. But when it's a fire from another world, when it is a heavenly fire of the Holy Ghost, it's not a fire going up. It is a fire that is coming down.

I began to pray in my hotel room in the midst of that fire in Australia. And something came over me, CLC. Something came over me that I think is starting to happen. And some of you this morning. I began to pray, Brother Enzi, and I said, "God, You've got to do this again. I refuse to let it only happen once in the Old Testament. You've got to do it again today in 2020. You've got to let the fire come down. You've got to let the fire go down and fill the church. Fill the church. Fill the church." And then it had been a while of praying when I was, I was almost begging, begging God. I said, "God, I'm sick and tired of preaching the same stuff and seeing the same stuff. I said, God, at some point in 2020, You've got to do something different. You've got to pour out Your Spirit like we have never seen." You said, in the same words that You spoke through Joel the prophet, saying that You would pour out Your Spirit upon all flesh. You also said to rejoice, because I'm about to give you the former and the latter rain together.

And all of a sudden, it was like God began to convict me with a, not a condemnation, but a conviction that began to open my eyes of faith. It was like God said to me, "Why are you so hungry and desperate for Me to fill My Spirit in a building when your body is My temple?" Paul said, "Know ye not that your body is the temple of God, which is in you, which you have of God? And you are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore, glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's." God said, "I want you to take that same prayer that you've been praying for Me to fill your buildings, and start praying, 'God, fill our bodies. Fill our temples. Fill my heart. Fill my mind. I've got to be refreshed. I've got to be filled.' Fill it. Hashtag fill every child, fill every son, fill every daughter, fill every mother and father, fill every elder, fill every pastor, fill everybody up with Your Spirit."

So I was headed to a church service a few months ago, and I felt the same thing that day that I felt this morning. The Lord said, "Preach about the fire of My Spirit. Preach about the fire of My Spirit. Preach about." That's all I had. A three-hour drive to Brother Turnbow's church outside of Houston. He said, "Preach to them about My fire filling them up." That's all I could think. I didn't listen to any music, any preaching on the way. I just, that's all I could hear in my spirit. "Preach on the fire. Preach on My. Preach on My Spirit."

I got to that service, and it was almost like I had this righteous indignation, this madness on me, that we have got to be filled with the fire of His Spirit. We had people come, and several people received the Holy Ghost for the first time. But what I loved about it is, all the elders and all the saints and all the Pentecostals, they came like they were visitors that day. I mean, everybody spoke in tongues like it was their first time. There was an Indian girl standing in the middle who received the Holy Ghost for the first time. And after the service, I was headed out. I had a picture. I didn't give him the picture, but I didn't even know I was going to share this. But I'm leaving, and I hear someone say my name, "Yell my name, Brother Green, can we talk to you?" And I said, "Yeah, what's up?" And I looked, and there was that Indian girl and her family. Her brother was the one shouting my name. He said, "I've got to speak to you." I said, "What's up, buddy?" He said, "We are from India. We just moved here. My father is Greek Orthodox. My mom is Roman Catholic." And they were standing there. He said, "But a few weeks ago, I started having dreams." He said, "I, I thought to share it with my dad, but I wouldn't do it because he's Greek Orthodox, and I thought he would be upset or something." He said, "But I had these dreams every night." And so finally, I said, "I got to share this with my dad." And he said, "Sitting at breakfast with him, I said, 'Dad, these are the dreams I'm having.'" He said, "To my surprise, my dad's eyes widened and said, 'Son, I'm having the same exact dreams.'" I said, "What's the dream?" He said, "Well, I don't really know how to explain it very well." And let me just preface this story by saying, he didn't have the Acts chapter 2 vocabulary like we have. But I could hear it in what he was telling me. When he said, "We, we were sitting in a church, and all of a sudden this fire would show up. He said, but it didn't just stay still. He said, it would move like a wind out of control in a circular motion like this. It's like, like a rushing mighty wind." He said, "And then he said, what was so interesting is, I looked around, and nobody was scared or afraid. They weren't running away from this fire. They were running to it, as if it would save them. They would reach for this fire until this fire would fill them up on the inside. They would begin to speak in different languages." He said, "Me and my dad decided we're gonna go church hunting until we find this fire." He said, "We've been to seven or eight different churches." He said, "But we could not find that fire." He said, "As we sat here in the sanctuary this morning, and y'all started singing, he said, 'I got goosebumps.'" And he said, "I started thinking, this might be the place." He said, "And then you got up in the pulpit and you said, 'Today, I'm going to preach about the fire of the Holy Ghost.'" He said, "I started thinking, this really might be the place." He said, "And then I was standing there when you laid hands on my sister, and she started speaking in other tongues." He said, "I elbowed my dad and I said, 'Dad, this is the place. We found the fire. We found the fire. We found the fire.'"

Oh, somebody lift up your hands and shout, "We found the fire! We found the fire!" I could stop right there, but this is the next step right here. Just three weeks ago, I was at Brother Tim Gaddy's church in Arkansas. They have right now, 9:00 and 11:00 AM services for social distancing purposes. I told that story in the 9:00 AM service. Spirit of prophecy comes upon me and says, "That family that I gave those dreams to are not the only ones I've been giving dreams to. He said, 'There's people right here in this neighborhood that have had the same dream.'" In the 11:00 AM service, place blew up. I didn't preach very long. I didn't even tell that story. I didn't tell any of that. People came to the altar. And this visitor, who had only been to this church one time before, but she sat in the back, arms folded, wouldn't move. This time, she had been crying the whole service. And she literally marched right down the center aisle and stood about right here, about one or two feet to my left. Sister Gaddy, the pastor's wife, walked right up to her and said, "In the name of Jesus, receive the Holy Ghost." She received it instantaneously, speaking in other tongues. We had several people that day receive the Holy Ghost for the first time. But again, the whole church had come up as if they were visitors to receive that feeling of His Spirit. And when we finished praying, that visiting lady, who received the Holy Ghost, who was not in the 9:00 AM service to hear that story of the Indian family and the prophecy from God, she told Sister Gaddy, she said, "You know, Sister Gaddy, what's so amazing about this? Just last night, I had a dream that I was standing right here, being filled with the Holy Ghost as you were praying for me, and I was speaking with other tongues." Oh, come on.

He that's here right now, that is in this place right now, you want to lift up your voice with faith for just a moment. I prophesy in the Holy Ghost, there is a wind of the Spirit that's about to blow. In my spirit, I can hear the sound of an abundance of rain beginning to pour out in this church, in this city, in this region. Would you lift up your hands and pray for the fire? Pray for the fire to come down. Somebody go after it. Somebody go after it right now. Somebody go after the fire of the Holy Ghost. If you're coming to this altar, I want you standing today. I want you standing. I want you standing. Everybody that comes to this altar, I want you to come standing. The fire of His Spirit is about to come down and not touch, and not just speak, but it's about to fill vessels and fill temples and fill hearts and souls. As you're coming, as you're coming, I want to just give instruction. If you have never received this fire, you may not even know what the fire is all about. The fire that we're talking about is the Spirit of God. The Spirit of God. The King James Bible calls it the Holy Ghost. But more importantly, the word of the Lord calls it the gift of His Spirit. A gift that you don't have to earn or work for. You just have to show up and say, "I want my gift today." And I speak that to visitors, guests, first-timers. And I speak that to every elder and below that you need a fresh reminder right now that it is your gift. It doesn't matter if you haven't prayed once in the last six months. It doesn't matter how far you have, my, you backslidden or walked away. It doesn't matter how dry or barren. It doesn't matter how weary or fatigued. It doesn't matter how addicted or confused you might be. It is your gift today. I just want everybody right now to say this with me: Say, "It is my gift." Say it again. "It is my gift." "It is my gift." "I'm going to be filled with my gift today." "I'm going to be filled with the gift of Your Spirit today." "God, I need so many other things. Lord, I need direction. I need financial blessing. I need deliverance. But God, where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. For in Your presence, there is fullness of joy." So more than a touch of healing, more than a word of direction, I need to be filled with Yours.

So this is what we're going to do. This, this is how we're going to pray for just a moment. We're going to send up a sacrifice of praise. A sacrifice of praise. I can't determine what is a sacrifice to you. For some of you, it's a sacrifice that you're even here today. For others, it's a sacrifice that you're standing at this altar, standing on your feet. For others, it's a sacrifice for you to shout a word of faith, saying, "God, thank You, even though I don't even know what, what to thank You about in this season right now, in this storm. I can't see, God. But I know that in the midst of the fog, in the midst of the darkness, there is a blessing somewhere." I thank You, God. Prophetically, I praise You. For some of you, it's going to be a sacrifice even to lift up your hands. For some of you, there's going to be an abundance of praise that comes out and a fresh and new expression. But I speak a word of prophecy, a word of faith, that there's about to be a refreshing of His Spirit poured out into this service. The only way I can see it in my spirit is like on a hot summer day, you've been outside sweating and working. Someone hands you a tall ice glass of water, and you just take that sip of water, and you can feel that first sip just trickle down your soul. That's why Jesus said, "Out of your belly will flow rivers, will flow out of your bellies, going to flow rivers of living water. Rivers of living water. Rivers of living water. Rivers of living water." About to flow. Something is about to spring up in the Spirit in this service right here.

What I want us to do is, I want us to obey the words of Jesus. I think it might be in Luke 21, when Jesus prophesies all the chaos. He prophesies all the bad news. He prophesies all the opposition and all the resistance, all the problems. He prophesies it. And in the midst of that, He says, "When how all these things happen, look up. Look up. Look up and lift up your head, for your redemption draweth nigh." I want everybody just to begin to look up. You can close your eyes, but I want you to begin to look up right now. It's coming down in this place. Now, as you're looking up with your eyes of faith, I want you to open your vessel by lifting up your hands. Everybody in this room now, listen, listen. Nobody in here is going to intercede or travail, but we're going to give a praise, a sacrifice of praise. Whatever that means to you. When I shout, "Hallelujah," there's going to be a praise that goes up. And when the praise goes up, there's going to be a fire that comes down. Here it comes by the authority of the word of the Lord and by the power that's in the name of Jesus Christ. Lord, pour out Your Spirit here today in the name of Jesus Christ. Hallelujah. Lift up your voice. Lift up a praise. Lift up a shout. Here comes the fire. Here comes the fire. Here comes the Holy Ghost. Here comes your refreshing. Receive it now.

Everybody lift up that praise and be filled, filled, filled with the Holy Ghost, speaking with other tongues now in the name of Jesus. Come on, come on, CLC. Come on, saint of God. Come on, husband. Come on, wife. Give Him a sacrifice of praise. A sacrifice of praise. Come on, there's a refreshing happening even now. There is a refreshing happening even now. Come on, come on. Be refreshed. Be refreshed. Be refreshed in the Spirit of the Lord. Be refreshed in the Spirit of the Lord. Out of your belly shall flow rivers of living water.

Yes, yes. I want to tell you something right now. Just for a second, if you need to go, you're dismissed. But I want to tell you something right now. I quoted that scripture a moment ago. It's Luke 21. He says, "When all of these bad things," he's talking about all the bad things. You go read it in Luke 21. He prophesies all this chaos in the last days. He said, "When all these things are happening, look up." Get your eyes off of the world. Get your eyes off the news, the media. Get your eyes off of where you're going. He said, "Okay." Could it be so easy, Lord? Good. Maybe not easy. Maybe easy is not the word. But could it be so simple? Sometimes the simplest things are the hardest things to do. It's not easy to look up when there's a weight holding you down. But watch this. He says, "Look up." Somebody say, "Look up." He said, "Lift up your head." He said, "I'm speaking to my church of 2020." He was prophesying what would happen in the last days. He said, "I want to tell my church, lift up your head." Isn't that so? Almost comical. Is it not so interesting that the King of Kings and Lord of Lords would prophesy all this stuff in the last days? I mean, he went so deep into prophecy, they couldn't even understand what he was teaching. But the solution to the problems that he would prophesy about, he said, "Just lift up your head." He said, "Because your redemption, your redemption draweth nigh." That word redemption, it literally translates to this: a releasing affected by a payment of ransom. A releasing. A releasing affected by payment of ransom. He said, "I'm going to be held captive so that they can be let go. I'm going to pay the ransom so that they can be released."

I don't have the details to what I feel in the Holy Ghost right now, but I feel to tell you, by the unction of His Spirit, there's a releasing in this room right now. I want everybody to close your eyes. There's a releasing in your spirit. He says, "I'm letting you go. You are released. You are released from that anxiety. You are released from that bondage. You are released. I paid the price. You are released. I let you go. I release you in My Spirit." Who is this word for? If it's for you, I want you to lift up your hands one more time right now. There's a releasing in the Holy Ghost. There's a releasing in the Holy Ghost. What's the chain He's releasing you from? What's the bondage He's releasing you from? What is the fear He's releasing you from? What is it? Is it a barren prayer life? Is it a barren spirit? What is it? There's a releasing. Lift up your voice and be released now in the Holy Ghost. I release you in the Holy Ghost. In the name of Jesus. Come on, lift up your voice and be released. There is a breakthrough happening now. There is a breaking forth of the Holy Ghost. Be released now. That's it. You're released. You're released. You're released. You're released. Now somebody praise Him for it. Go ahead and act like you're liberated. Go ahead and shout about it. Go ahead.
