This is how you flirt so good she gets addicted. I like your outfit today. Thank you. I like you. No pickup lines, no corny routines. All you need to understand are the subtle psychological triggers that make her feel something. I like your house. I like your smile. I like your lips. I like your You know what I'm saying? All of that.
The guy on screen doing the flirting is Marlin. He's one of the most viral streamers on the planet right now. He's tall, charismatic, and smooth. But the flirting tactics he's using in this video are something that literally any guy can use. How do I know? Because I've helped thousands of clients use these same exact techniques to date their dream girl. Like my client Mark, who used the techniques on his first dates to go from total strangers to kissing them within minutes and having them ask him out for second dates. So, if you want to know how to get results like Mark and thousands of my other clients, click the first link in the description.
Most guys start the date off by going into boring small talk interview mode. Totally wrong. Instead, you want to use a technique called romantic exaggeration. I don't want to be friends. You know, you don't want to be friends. What do you like? More than friends. This instantly flips the conversation from logical to emotional, and it makes the girl way more invested in what you have to say. Just look at how Marlin does it a few minutes into this bowling date.
"Don't be nervous, Marlo."
"I am. I'm super nervous."
"Why?"
"I'm with you. You know."
"Me, too. Yeah. I feel like I got to I got to perform when I'm with you, you know? Like I got to be the best. You know what I mean?"
Notice how she makes a joke and says, "Don't be nervous, Marlin." And instead of challenging her frame and saying, "No, of course I'm not nervous. Why would I be nervous?" Notice how he instead exaggerates it and says, "Of course I'm nervous. I have to be because I feel like I have to perform when I'm with you." He's jokingly putting her on a pedestal, but she feels the tease and the flirtingness underneath it. What's great about this is that it allows you to be directly romantic in your verbals like, "Oh, I get nervous around you. I feel like I have to impress you, but you're doing it in a joking way, so it doesn't come off as tryard nice guy or cringe." Also, the fact that you're kind of mocking this super nice guy behavior by doing it in a very over-the-top way. It separates you in her mind from categorizing you as just another desperate s chasing her validation. And the beauty of it is that it instead communicates confidence. Because only a guy who's actually confident and secure in himself can fake being desperate yet still come off cool.
So in this clip, the girl Marta is making fun of Marlin for consistently saying the same word, appreciate it. She had poked fun at him for repeating the same phrase over and over throughout the date. So she brings it up and mentions it here. And he uses this to exaggerate yet again.
"Exactly. Got you. I got you. I got you. Appreciate it."
"I appreciate you."
"When you're saying appreciate it, you will remember me."
"I will. I'm not going to lie. I actually will. Please."
"Yeah. You know, I remember you anyways. Like what? Like I'm going think about you like all night, all morning. All night again. All night again."
You know, um notice when you use the romantic exaggeration, if you do it correctly, it will create a moment of tension because again, you are communicating romantic intent, even if only jokingly. But the fact that she knows you're joking, but maybe some of it is true, is what creates the tension. How much is he joking? How serious is he? And it creates so much tension that you'll notice every time he uses this romantic exaggeration, there's a long pause and then she laughs or he laughs. This creates that roller coaster of emotions throughout the date where she doesn't know what's going to happen next and it makes her way more engaged in staying in the conversation and spending more time with you.
"You're having fun."
"I am having fun."
"Are you having fun?"
"Me, too. Yeah. Yeah. It's been fun today. It's like I think that it's the funniest day in my in my summer."
"Yeah. Yeah. No, it's the funniest day like of my life, you know."
"No, it has been really fun. Honestly, I've enjoyed it."
So, notice how he takes what she says and he just exaggerates it and stretches out to the most ridiculous extreme. She says it's the best day of my summer. He says, "Oh, that's crazy. This is the best day of my life." But even while delivering the line, he starts laughing at how ridiculous and preposterous it is. This gets her to start laughing. He's poking fun and making fun of her a little bit. But then afterwards, he actually brings it back down to reality and he says, "No, for real, like this is actually really, really fun. I'm having a really good time with you." So, by mixing and matching both of these things and creating this playful tease dynamic back and forth, it allows the girl to experience the whole pantheon of emotions in just a few seconds. And it makes the conversation that much more engaging.
Now, this same clip actually leads me to my next point. And you'll notice as they laugh, he looks back in between and he just makes eye contact with her. But he does it in a very subtle way and she even makes a comment about it. Just watch.
"No, it has been really fun. Honestly, I've enjoyed it. I've enjoyed it. I really enjoyed it."
"I don't understand why you're looking at me like that."
"What?"
"I can't take it anymore."
"You can't?"
"I can't. I'm just looking at you like."
"Yeah, but with I don't know. With that eyes, it's hard."
Notice how he says I'm like looking at you like what he knows what he's doing. He's looking at her directly in her eyes. He's looking her up and down. He's looking at her with romantic intent. And this is something that so many guys lack because they're just uncomfortable with their own intent and desire for a woman. They're scared about the girl knowing that they like them or knowing that they're attracted to them. But in this case, throughout the date, Marlin is continuously displaying strong eye contact, especially in these moments where he uses these exaggerations or these other playful teases to enhance the moment, to get her to slow down and to take in what's actually happening. It makes her feel a lot more present. It allows her to feel your grounded masculine energy, and it really increases her attraction for you because it's creating extra tension. And you notice how she comments on it and says, "Oh, you can't keep looking at me like that." And in the beginning, he plays it off acting like he doesn't know what she's talking about. But then he says that while literally doing it right in front of her.
"I don't understand why you looking at me like that."
"What?"
"I can't take it anymore."
"You can't?"
"I can't. I'm just looking at you like."
"Yeah, but with I don't know. With that eyes, it's hard."
"I guess like not look at you like what's the what's the what's the deal here? Do I just not look at you?"
"I prefer."
"You prefer? Okay. Okay. So, I just look straight forward. If you talk to me, I'll just talk to you like this."
"Yes, Martha. Yes, Martha. Okay, got you."
And again, notice he circles it all the way back and goes back to end off with another exaggeration. So, he magnifies what she says. Says, "Oh, would you prefer me to just not look at you then?" She says, "Yes, I would actually." And he brings it to his logical extreme and says, "I'm just going to look straight when we talk." And notice by doing this, he's not shying away from his intent. He's owning it, but then he makes a joke about her bringing it up. And the fact that she even says this and comments on it means that he's doing an excellent job with his body language and his eye contact at showing his masculine attraction and intent for her. If your body language and subcommunications are dialed in on a first date, you should have girls calling you out on it in a joking way like why are you looking at me that way or don't look at me like that or why are you giving me those eyes? Women speak the language of subtlety. And when you do these small little micro expressions, these give her crystal clear proof of what you're thinking, what's on your mind, and how you view her. And the way you view her is through the lens of a man looking at a woman who he's romantically interested in and a man who's not uncomfortable expressing that interest and desire for her.
Now, there's a lot more examples I'm going to break down here of how to compliment with intent and exactly how to leverage these body language micro expressions to make sure you're leaving a strong impression on the girl and building that magnetic chemistry that is completely unspoken. But before we do that, I actually wanted to highlight something funny that he does here that is a really easy thing to do once you've created the frame of this romantic exaggeration.
"Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. I got to open it."
"Yeah, I got you. I got you. I got you. I got you. I got you. I got you."
"Yeah."
When the first is absolutely true. So, notice how the car door was open and he was guiding her to it, but he closes it and then he opens it again. He says, "Wait, wait, wait. I have to open the door for you." Again, he's taking something that's completely normal, completely boring, like opening the door for her. But by making it this joking, grand gesture, he draws attention to it, which allows the opportunity for some humor and takes a normal, boring moment that would be forgettable and makes it that much more memorable.
Now, one of the most common things I hear from my clients is that they don't know how to spark romantic attraction on a date. They don't know how to get out of the friend zone and pull themselves out of boring, logical small talk and into a romantic manto-woman vibe. We already talked about how body language and micro expressions play a big role in this, but this is a perfect example. Look how when they sit down in the restaurant, Marlin starts by complimenting her. But a simple I like your outfit isn't enough. What he does with his body language and eye contact is what takes it to a whole other level today.
"Thank you."
"I like you."
"Yeah. You like me?"
"Yeah. Nice. Sorry, guys."
"No, no, you're good, you're good. Listen, I don't know what I'm saying."
So notice how when she matches his energy and she chokingly uses a romantic exaggeration on him, he doesn't pause. He smiles. He makes eye contact. He looks her up and down, but then he comes back and he doesn't look away. He's making eye contact with her so strong and waiting for her to be the first one to break and look away. This signals the fact that he's in control. He's dominating the frame and he's the one guiding the interaction from start to finish. And when you're able to do this as a man, it makes women much more likely to follow your lead.
"Yeah. Yeah. Sorry, guys. Nana, you're good."
You also notice a really interesting body language thing that's happening here where the tension almost becomes so much for her that she defaults to covering her face or closing her eyes or looking away when he does it. That's how you know his presence is so magnetic and strong that it's almost too much for her that she needs to dissipate the tension by putting a physical barrier between her and his eye contact. She also laughs often after he delivers these lines or even after she says something because his presence is so strong, she becomes uncomfortable with it. But uncomfortable in a good way.
Now, if you're watching this and you're realizing my dates look nothing like this and they instead look like boring job interviews, I have a solution for you. Every single month, my clients inside of my programs collectively go on over 100 plus dates and I guide them through every single one of them. So, if you struggle with creating romantic interactions or romantic attraction with women, whether it's on a cold approach, over text, with a dating app, or even on your first dates, then you should click the first link in the description and apply to work with me. I've successfully helped thousands of guys meet their 10 out of 10 dream girl and settle down into relationships that they're happy with. So, if you want to get results like my client Bened and thousands of others, click the first link in the description and apply to work with me inside my program.
"Martha, lock in. You got to lock in, you know."
"No, I don't know the meaning of lock in."
"Lock in. It's like this. Lock in like that, you know."
"Ah, okay. I like it. Lock in."
"Yeah."
This is another amazing example of how to hold strong eye contact with a woman on a date. So, notice he makes this little joke here where he crosses pinkies with her. They're kind of holding hands a little bit, but notice what he does with his eyes. Notice how he keeps looking and she looks away, but he's still looking at her. Well, afterwards, he's intentionally lingering his gaze to show that he likes what he's looking at. And she quickly looks away afterwards after holding, and she looks away to look back to see if he's still looking to see if he's still giving her that suggestive stare. Most guys don't feel comfortable enough to even make eye contact to begin with. But when you're bold enough and comfortable with yourself to give a girl that type of intentful gaze, it elevates you to a new level of confidence in her eyes because she sees that you're not afraid to own who you are and own what you want and show it to her.
"Now, when I saw you too, I was like, don't say that to me because you're lying, Mar."
"I'm being serious. You're lying."
"Why do you always think I'm lying?"
"I'm not lying."
"Because you're what? What am I? What am I? What am I?"
"I don't know how to say it. Like I think you have listen listen. You have"
Notice what just happened there. He was making eye contact with her and he was waiting for her to look back and when she started looking at him and she stared at him, it made her uncomfortable. But it made her uncomfortable in a good way. When you have a very strong and dominant masculine presence like he does, as you can see, his body language is taking up space. When he makes eye contact, he's not faltering. He's not quickly looking away. He's simply calm and grounded. It can make a girl feel shaken. It can make a girl feel uncomfortable, but it's making her uncomfortable in a good way because it's making her feel shy. His directness and his boldness is not something that women are used to encountering. So, when faced with it, they almost don't know how to react. And that's why she's constantly laughing to diffuse the tension of this situation.
Now, one other super important thing that Marlin is doing here beyond the romantic exaggeration and beyond these compliments with intent and his body language, he's also creating something called the shared fantasy frame. And this is super important on dates because it's basically where you create an us and we frame where instead of you talking about yourself or her as separate people, you start to create the idea of you two together as a couple, as a unit. And when you use this sort of language, not only is it more emotionally charged, but it also allows her imagination to open up to what you two might be like if you really were together. Now, Marlin does a good job of doing it in a very fun and playful way because it is a date, and a date is meant to have fun. So, I'll show you an example here where he does it excellently.
"But you are leaving to LA."
"What day?"
"To LA."
"I'll leave in like a week."
"I'm going to cry."
"You're going to cry. Don't cry. You know, I'll I'll put you in my suitcase and I'll put you on the plane."
[Music]
"You have a big suitcase?"
"Yeah. Huge suitcase."
"Okay, perfect. Yeah. So, I will go with you."
"Yeah. Yeah. I don't have nothing to do in August."
"Oh, you don't? You don't have another plan? Wait, are you very busy? Like, do you like."
"Yeah, a little bit. But most of the time, what does your day look like? You know, someday."
Notice how he goes back and forth. So, she asks him about when he goes back to LA. He answers the question and he says, "Oh, don't worry. You're going to come with me. I'll pack you in my suitcase." Contributing to that we frame of she comes into his world. This us and we dynamic. And again, he's taking a normal logical conversation and he uses that to create this fantasy frame that we talked about. And the beauty of introducing this frame is that you can tell how invested and interested a girl is by how much she contributes to this frame. So notice she says, "Do you have a big suitcase?" And then she also follows up by saying, "Well, I don't really have anything to do in August." Implying that she could go and meet him or go and see him afterwards. And what I love about this is that he's not lingering here too long because not only is it important to have fun and have a playful back and forth on a first date. That's definitely super important. But he also logically gets to know her a little bit. He's jumps from that frame. And then his next question is something logical, something that's going to allow him to actually get to know her on a more serious level. What does your dayto-day look like? What do you do for fun? These sorts of questions he starts to ask.
"Now, I'm chilling. Okay. But on other days I have you know like many shootings or campaigns and all the stuff or just to create my content. But you know there's some of the days that I'm I'm good. I'm chilling. Yeah. Yeah. So right now I will have to do my content and then go to the lake."
So notice how he's smiling before she even says anything. and she's saying something serious, but he's smiling to himself because he knows what he's doing. Because even if she says something serious, he's thinking about what he can say next to create this fantasy frame to exaggerate or to just make it more playful. And this back and forth, he's holding himself back from saying it because he knows it's important to have a serious conversation and not be joking 24/7. But the fact that his brain is working and creating these connections and seeing opportunities to inject more fun, more flirtatious energy into the interaction shows that this is not just a guy who's handsome and good with women. He's good with women because he understands the psychological triggers to make these conversations engaging and full of chemistry.
"Go to LA. How long can you be in LA for?"
"Forever or that as you want."
"Yeah."
And again, that's him just selling the fantasy, selling the fairy tale. He says, "Well, how long can you be in LA for?" He says, "Forever." Right? Implying that his intentions are super long-term and he wants her to be his girlfriend, his wife, etc. Those are all the implications and subcommunication happening underneath the surface. And this is why so many elements of this date are executed so well. He understands how to create this fairy tale, how to say things that have bigger implications. And even if they're said jokingly, it lets the woman's imagination run much, much further and a lot more wild. And once you have a woman's imagination running, her thoughts are going to be occupied by you. And by the way, if you're an older successful guy who's looking to master the skill of meeting women in person and learning how to build magnetic attraction with women, then click the first link in the description and book a call to work with me personally inside my private coaching program.
Now, one other subtle technique that you can use that's kind of in the same umbrella as this shared fantasy frame is something called future pacing. Notice how when he says, "So, how long can you be in LA for?" forever. He's future pacing the idea of them as a romantic relationship and progressing as something more. And if you'd like to start a longer term romantic relationship or even if you just like to date casually and see a woman casually consistently, you need to understand this concept of future pacing. And this is where you kind of sell the dream of doing more things in the future together. Even if you're only doing it jokingly or doing it in a playful way, again, it allows you to trigger her imagination and appeal to emotions. Here's another example of how he does it when they have a later conversation continuing the topic of visiting LA.
"So that that was the last time you went, right?"
"Yeah. To 3 years ago."
"Two years ago or two years ago. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Hey, you should come back to LA."
"Okay. Yeah. Okay. I will go."
"Yeah. No, you should. You should, you know, I'll I'll show you around and stuff, you know, and I'll like you show me here, I'll show you there. Okay. Yeah. There there's more to see, you know. There's way more to see like, you know, by my house and like, you know, the best part, Marlin, is that I'm going to say that."
"Oh, yeah. Yeah. But I think that."
"No, no. Oh, so you you you thought it, but I said it."
"Yeah. Okay. Gotcha. That's good. Then I'll be the one to say I'll be the one to say it."
Notice again he he does it again here. He future paces, but he also does it in a suggestive way with some sexual undertones, right? He says, "There's a lot more for you to see. I'll show you around." the way you took me around here, I'll do it this way the next time. And by implying that you should see his house, he's implying physicality. He's implying probably intimacy because up until this point, there hasn't been much intimacy aside from him putting his arm around her in the Uber. He hasn't gotten physical with her yet. But even though he hasn't gotten physical with her yet, she's already thinking about it and he's planting those seeds, which is very important for a first date. And you'll notice that when he was talking about it, she said that she was thinking the same thing, but she didn't want to say it because it would be too forward. And he says, "Don't worry. You think it, and I'll be the one to say it." Further putting himself in the driver's seat of the interaction and being the person to establish and lead the frame. This is honestly just perfect execution.
Now, later on in the date, he doubles down on this fantasy frame and he shows another really great example because sometimes when you're on these dates, it makes sense to talk about romantic topics, maybe romantic past experiences, etc. as you're getting to know each other, communication style, love languages, things of that nature. And she asks him, "What's your ideal type of date?" And you'll see when he goes to give his answer, he kind of sits up as if he's about to deliver a performance. Now, he doesn't do it in a cringe way because a date is not meant to be a performance, but the fact that he's being over the top when he's creating this shared fantasy and being a little bit facitious and sarcastic and joking, it's congruent with the fact that he is just playing around and being playful with her.
"What would you prefer date be like?"
"So if we went on a date, what would I what would I like? Okay, I would probably I'm a simple man, you know. I would like take you out to eat. I'll probably pick you up in the car, you know, have flowers for you already, you know? Because I'm imagining."
And that goes exactly to what I said, right? When you do these little subtle joking gestures, or when you create these fantasy frames, and you do it in a bit of an over-the-top way, you're appealing to her imagination, which is the most important part. And you'll notice when he says, "Oh, I'd pick you up in a car. I would bring you flowers." He's painting this picture very vividly, and it's not by mistake. And when he says this, she starts smiling. She starts laughing. The eye contact gets deeper. And then he says, "Why are you laughing?" And she says, "Because I'm imaginating it." And this is exactly my entire point. You want to have the effect on a date where you're creating a foothold in her imagination and you're giving her something to think about, not just while she's with you, but when she's goes home and she's not with you because that's how you get second and third dates.
Now, a great way to double down on creating this frame and making it even funnier and more memorable so that she can imagine it in the future is by bringing in the environment or the people around you into it. Now, the funny thing is that she actually contributes and creates this frame when they get out of their Uber. She goes up to talk to the hostess at the restaurant and instead of just checking in normally, as Marlin walks up behind her, she says, "Oh, this is my boyfriend." He just doesn't know it yet. It's my boyfriend. He didn't know. This makes the interaction a lot more funny, a lot more entertaining because now you're kind of jokingly putting her on the spot. Notice how she does it to him and he laughs and he walks away because it's a funny situation. You can integrate this if you're at a bar, a restaurant, if you're interacting with anyone else on the date by simply referring to the girl you're on a date with as your wife, your girlfriend, whatever it is to make it a lot funnier and also start sparking that imagination and that curiosity in her head.
Now, speaking of Marta and the fact that she actually did some good things on this first date that you could steal and use for yourself to great success, she also does one other thing, and it's what I call a playful push. When they're sitting across from each other on the rooftop, she says this, "You're too far from me." Now, we are too close. Notice how she says, "You're too far from me." which is intentionally meant to be a subtle implication that she's inviting him to come closer and get more physical with her. Yet, the second he comes in and he actually does get closer to her, she pushes him away and says, "Oh, well, now you're too close to me." So, she's creating this back and forth dynamic that not only makes things a lot more interesting and fun, but it also creates tension because when she pushes away like this, she's creating an environment where he doesn't know what's going to happen next. If she simply said, "Oh, get closer to me." And that was it. It would make the progression a lot more linear, and that could definitely work, and that would be great execution either way on the date. But when you jokingly interject some of these tiny little pushes, not only does it keep the dynamic fun and playful, but it can create that tension, especially if you'd like to keep building that tension up until you ultimately make a move like kissing her or getting more physical in some way, and you'd like to save it for a moment where the tension has built up much stronger.
Now, we've talked a lot about how to make the interaction a lot more emotional, playful, and most importantly, fun. Because at the end of the day, you can do anything to a woman except bore her. And most guys struggle with being too boring. However, there is a balance. You do actually want to spend time getting to know the girl, see if she's compatible with you, and see if there's alignment. And Mara does a great job on this first date of asking the right questions, but also going deep when he asks these right questions.
"Um, what was she saying though? What?"
"No, I was saying, 'So, you don't talk to anybody right now?'"
"No, no, no. Like, not at all. No. No. Not even like a little bit like, you know, like you're you're you're talking like not serious, but like."
"No, with no one really. And you got."
"No, don't do that. Look, I know what she said. She's like, 'Oh, it's a little fake. It's fake. I just talk Swedish. Why I do that? Switch. There's like a little I didn't but I'm saying like you know but you nowadays you don't talk with anyone?"
"Nah cuz like I I I talked to somebody uh and like I went through a breakup like few months ago. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Okay. Okay. Okay. You know. Yeah. A little bit. And it was a little crazy. It was a little crazy. So I'm trying to like be chill and Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, until I find the right one. You know what I mean? And don't do that. It's He's so spicy. He's so"
So, this is a really important moment on the date because it's one of the first times where he's actually had a more serious conversation trying to get to know her, trying to get to know what her romantic life is like. Because if you are on a date with someone, you do want to get a sense of what the romantic life is like. are they looking for something casual? Are they seeing other people? What's going on, etc.? So, by simply asking, oh, you know, like, are you talking to other people right now? What what's kind of like your love life like? He gets a sense of it, but he asks the question and she says no, but he doesn't just take no for an answer. He asks again, but in a slightly different way to get a more detailed response from her.
"No, no, no. No, no, not even like a little bit like, you know, like you're you you're talking like not serious, but like no."
Notice how he digs deeper here. He asks clarifying questions and even asks it in a way where that is judgment free. He says, "Well, not even serious. Just like talking a little bit, nothing serious. Not even like that." He's trying to get a more detailed answer out of her rather than just a surface level no with no one really.
"And you?"
"No."
"Don't do that. I know what she said. She's like, 'Oh, it's a little fake. It's fake.' I just thought."
And notice when she asks him the same question, he smiles and he shakes his head, but he shakes his head in kind of a guilty way. His words say one thing, but his body language say something else. This is huge because now there's a back and forth. That discrepancy and that disconnect from what his words are saying and what his body language and his face is saying is what creates tension and it's what creates that back and forth that has her saying, "No, I don't know if I believe you." And now this allows the conversation to open up and get more serious as you see he does here.
"about me cuz like this is the first time we meet. So, how do you feel?"
"You're so funny. You're so funny. I like it so much. You are like so in Spanish we say cavayo. Cavayo like I feel like I've heard that before. What is that?"
"You bring flowers. You."
"Oh, like like a gentleman. Exactly. Gentlemen. Okay. And and your face. My face. Yeah."
[Music]
"Okay. All right. Okay. Go. Yeah. Go. Okay. I'll take that. I'll take that. I appreciate that. I got you."
And interestingly enough, after calling him a gentleman and saying that she liked his vibe, she ends it off in a more playful, joking way and says, "Oh, and I also like your face." Kind of just physically complimenting him. But notice when she says it, he doesn't immediately laugh and break. He just looks at her. She complimented him. Now he's going to see how she reacts when he simply holds the frame and doesn't break the tension by laughing. He holds eye contact. He has a little bit of a smirking grin, but he's relaxed and calm and waiting for her to break the tension.
"Okay. All right. Okay. Good. Yeah. Good. Okay. I'll take that. I'll take that. I appreciate that. I got you."
And of course, like she has throughout the entire date, she laughs and ultimately breaks the tension, which again further establishes as him being the one in control of the frame and the interaction overall.
