What to do during fasting:

Number one, you must understand there's a difference between hunger and craving. Hunger goes away after a few days, but the craving remains because it's connected to your habits. It's connected to the way you perceive food.

So, don't think that just because you're craving food, that you actually are hungry for food. Overcome that craving by bringing it under subjection to the Holy Spirit.

Fasting is feasting on God's word, so replace your eating with reading God's word and prayer. Drink plenty of water, but don't drink too much water so you don't wash off all of your electrolytes.

As well as get enough rest. Avoid physical exercise. If you're fasting completely from food, you might need to add coconut water so that it can help you to add a little bit of sugar in your body. It will help you to sleep and alleviate some of the pain and weakness in your knees.

Restrict or eliminate media consumption. Also, you can watch content on fasting to help you keep the morale and the boost to continue to fast. Don't give up.
