[music] Sir, I want to spread your story to the people. There were many who knew at surface level. Many people may not know that Manish Bhatnagar ji was court-martialed in Kargil. If you want to live in war, I would like you to be the first. Tell your story: what happened and how it happened. If you complete everything I want from my NDA Day, I want to know a little background brief.

So I started. I joined the NDA process at the age of 16 years. I was the youngest in my course, as I believe mine captain, who was commissioned in 11 GR, Maj Manoj Pandey's unit, and in which PVC Captain Manoj Pandey, you would know, was the bravest of the brave, Ashok Chakra. So I stayed there for three years; service is done. After that, when my commission came, there was no vacancy for Para. I came, so that's how, after three years, I opted for five Para, which is now Special Forces. Then I parachuted, my probation was done, and then I cleared the probation and was selected in 5 Para for the unit officer.

The thing is, I joined in 1995, and my commissioning was in 1992. Since 1997, I would like to get you started. At that time, I was shortlisted for ADC to the President of India. My unit was slated to move, so during the MA interview, I requested them that I wanted to go to CHN with my unit rather than serving as ADC to His Excellency the President of India. Then I went to CHN three times. I have climbed the glacier once for a recce, and twice I've done tenures. The third tenure was during the Kargil intrusion, which is 5770 in Off Vis.

Now you have observed the original from me. The question was asked about the court martial. So actually, when this Kargil intrusion was officially declared, like Batalik, it is said that it was detected for the first time in May '99. If it actually happened, it would have been detected earlier. The junior officer present over there and my own January '99, February '99, had a report of enemy activity in which, on January 26, five of our soldiers were there. There were accidents, one of which was fatal. The JCO was dead, and that 577 was because of directed fire from 5770. No one was there at the location where he was aware.

Visibility of the enemy could not be 5770; it's NJ 9842. There is what is called AGPL, and this is a very dominating feature. It dominates an area of about 100 square kilometers. If you sit here, you can almost control 100 square kilometers of the enemy in the area. If you could dominate, this was your feature. The situational report that you filed on January 26, right? Yes, this is actually its observation. We were there continuously. In that word, which is below 5770, both its shoulders, we had said it below. This was the location from where they were fed. All the locations are there in the tell us. We were able to do day movement; enemy fire used to come.

So many times I tried to find out how this was happening because when I moved, when I took over, it was 5770. I was told to be a vacant area, then go there. When I slowly started observing, it was done again because it is like this: if it is the peak of winter, then there would be a lot of snow, and the presence of the enemy inside it is hard to detect because that too, during the day, there is nothing that won't move. And who snows on top of the rock face? You will see that it has a black background, kind of white and black, and this type of camouflage happens naturally. You won't see if someone is there; you don't see the steps or their link. Snowfall is not visible, and that too very early. It happens, and everything gets covered.

Whatever peaks you have, anyway, you will naturally observe that the high peaks, which are very dominating heights, always have a cloud beyond them. Once you'll see, the ring or cloud cover is a natural and atmospheric variation. So normally you will find that there are some places, and there will be some hedge in them. If you do not get absolutely clear visibility, you will not spot anyone there before me. Spot casually; this has happened many times. But that's such a bunker. I finally found a spot on February 9, and Colonel Srivastava was reported. Later in his statement during my trial, which was conducted for my GCM, the thing was admitted that Major Bhatnagar, my contention was that the enemy had a permanent post while I gave them a bunker. It was reported clearly that, sir, there is a bunker, and I've seen the person clearing the snow, maybe in front of a foxhole or from where he might be watching.

Then I would like to understand from you how far you were when you noticed that point. We should have had that right. 5770, actually, we have one on AGPL, so it should have happened, and that dominating feature was also there. If by chance we had... The question is whether at that time, as things came to light later, the enemy... That's the Nern Most Tip of a Major Offensive. It turned out finally, and that was the best part of the whole operation. He had a tall height, which he probably first must have caught in January, in the sense that he first done in December or January.

But I could detect it within a reasonable time for me because normally you will see that just before winters, these people occupied, stocked up, and sat down so that there is no such activity on it. Now, if there was this information, where would the problem arise? This is the information that comes from my trial. During this, Colonel Srivastava said that Brigadier PC Katoch, then the Seach N 102 Brigade Area Command of the Brigade, he was the brigade commander and gave this information to him. Gave, and his Colonel K Srivastava, according to the statement, General on Wednesday also told that this is what this officer is reporting to you.

The situational report was of February 9. You say that what has been said in the trial is that at least it was taken to the highest level, not even up to the Corps Commander level, you see. I don't have any way to do this. No, I am saying the same thing which happened in the trial. The state he told in the trial, given in the summary of evidence therein, he said that I told Major General V.S. This information was given till Bhadwar, which was divisional. She was the commander of the Infantry Division in Leh at that time. There were divisions which ranged from Matan Dras to a large area up to Eastern Ladakh. This was his complete responsibility.

The sector which, yes, I have to see them, now it would be better to see them. It gets crushed here because from our side, there are two different brigades. If you see that Adra sector of Batalik, if you want to come to Shok Valley, you have to come after crossing Khardung La. But that is the same thing from Pakistan side; FCN is the Force Commander of the Northern Area. From his side, he is the same as us. It was divided into two brigade headquarters. It is because of these two brigades. The mountains which are like this ground are this. The road in between is Shyok Valley. If it lands in Nubra's Shayok, it connects. If you walk along Nubra, if you go, you will find CHN Base Camp. If you go along the Shyok, then about after 70-80 km, you come to zero point where LOC, which is in the Shimla Agreement, there is a sign between the two nations.

Agreement that this thing we line off, we believe in control, and we take it as true border. We will respect it. It's okay, Joe. Its northern areas are from where southern areas where glacier starts. It is called AGPL. AGPL means Actual Ground Position Line. In AGPL, like this, you will see that which was his prison post, which was converted into Bana Top. We know Subedar Bana Singh by name PVC; they captured him. Now this 5770 was another true area, so whatever the question is, whether the status has been otherwise. You can imagine that this report was of 5770. If the height like 5770, which is around 19,000-20,000, if he gets sick, then he comes and sits here.

So, these were the areas of Batalik and Dras. They were much below 4000 meters, i.e., 14,000 feet, 15,000 feet above. It was 16,203; it was around 16,000 feet. So we can say that for one thing, you have on 9th February, you confirmed that after seeing the bunker, he told me to come positively. Stead the bunker, and this is the bunker, and this there is fortification. And that CO, on 26 January, so that means this casualty has become our... Yes, 26, we had five casualties on January, out of which one JCO was dead, and four of us, if it was severe, then it can be said that this was the first casualty of the Kargil War.

You see technically how I put it. I want to do that, watch casualty. There is casualness even if it is not the same as you now. Whichever way you want to put it, so be the first shorts. You can say that's the first detection of the enemy's game plan because right now, any permanent post till 5770 till date? Didn't report, so that means that he... If we assume that cargo intrusion, other places also where he can stock up and sit, sat as long as they could. 5770 was the first true post, which is Pakistan's own. Those who are retired army officers, this thing also comes out from the account in March. I have a commissioned officer; he talks about this. He was commissioned in the Pakistani Army in March '99, so about three, three-four of these talks.

These heights were occupied a month ago. Mains Failure. We talk about every time, 25 years, and any other meaning of this type. When an incident occurs, the first thing that comes to mind is that there was no intelligence. But this is the first when detection is in January-February. You can say that there was intelligence; you ignored it. Let it be. I assumed that was the first sign; you were mistaken. Will it happen or show you better or whatever? Is there any February, March, April after that? Was there any meaning in these that anyone noticed?

And at that place or there that yes, someone, Captain Saurabh, is in the Kaksar area. You must have heard the name of Kalia; call him a brave heart, Captain Saurabh Kalia. Very, he was a brave officer, and his four Jat, which is a diary of his later when subsequently in May when he posted Bajrang, when they were going towards, their petrol was only five men were sent. Now why were they sent? We have to find these questions also, and this petrol of five men was captured. Their bodies are finally in a very tortured state. The handover was done on June 9, and Captain Saurabh Kalia's diary of February 5 and 27 had a very heavy exchange in the middle of March. Fire has been reported, which this diary of his is unprecedented in which he is reporting all.

Because there are many different situations, once you get cut off, you get that. If formats are not available, then his diary, written by his own hand and written by his father, Dr. NK Kalia, gave me that. See if this can be useful in your case. Prove that he was actually in that area, and that's how all this happens because we have to prove everything when you go to court. Right now, whatever I talk about during the interview, I am telling you that if any army wants him, any officer of the... Whatever I say to you, challenge him. I am telling you it's documentary evidence or direct testimony or constructed evidence is available to me.

Even later, when someone from your video, no one can comment anything in the comment section. Questions about what I am speaking to you right now, so I have the evidence with me. I will tell you in the comment section also; give me reasonable time, and I would supply it. So now the problem comes here that Ajit Dol Sahab also has an interview present NSA, which he did in 2005 or 6. Gave it to Harendra Baweja ji. In that too, they say that the information about Kargil about seven-eight months ago or a year ago that the IB director himself, in the official letter signed by DG according to MI, Army Headquarters, it is surprising that it was sent in.

This happens when we go to Kargil Batalik, and if we discuss the drawer area, then Vidan, that Brigade, how did that post become vacant? By March 27th, you have information that heavy exchange of fire is taking place. Tob koi Pakistani will not tell in your ear that, brother, we are going to come here or we are firing because we want to. We are sending intruders, even if we ourselves are stocking up, so you're on us. Can't keep an eye for whatever purpose, but that was unprecedented firing that was reported from a forward line officer.

On both these information, which is desired, action was required but was not taken against this information not exchanged. If this exchange had been done, then Brigadier Surendra Singh, who was the then One to One Brigade Commander, so now I know it's here. Told to me by his advocate that they have FIDE THE SITUATION REPORTS IN THE AT AAP. Consider that it has been almost 25 years, and his case is still going on. So now he... This situation report was presented that this information, if this information was not given to them, had it been there, none of its posts would have been wickets.

And intensify your patrolling. Let's say any news is going on. Isn't it, for example, that a bomb arrived in Chandigarh? If you go, then you will see that all the police stations are on alert. We will become people from Chandigarh and not people from Mohali. All surrounding areas will also be alerted. So this alerting was prevented because this information was just not shared. Similar to that of Captain Kalia, there was a report of unexpected fire because the firing from the Pakistan side is doing or whatever activity they are doing. They are all doing it under one commander. For him, it is a company, and another, even if the company is a separate brigade for us, this information should also reach 102 Brigade.

102 Brigade came on 102 Ki Tuve Brigade, i.e., Dras Kargil Batalik's brigade is its information. CN information about brigade brigade should have gone closer because Sichan Brigade, the sub-sector which is the north-western part of it was called West, first that, then all that. Sector Hanif became this after the Kargil War. Totally a thief, area on the side of Batla, a thief Batla is practically the boundary between 102 Brigade, i.e., Kargil Brigade, and the thief Batla in the middle of Sichan Brigade. If the ridge line falls, then this information should have been shared.

Now let's move on. You started questioning my court martial. It was because all these things are connected that whatever was said in the court martial, now we have discussed that before somewhere. Whatever was said in this court martial, it is linked. So after that, my tenor, that cut short was done by CO on no. For according to what he said in the court statement given in Marshal, that Major Bhatnagar used to overrule many of my people. It's about Siachen. Yes, it's about Siachen. So he said this during the court martial. I asked him, "Sir, why did you send me from there?" It was removed because perhaps you were talking about Siachen.

The information was there. Now when you felt at such a level that the war happened on such a big level and such a big... It has been said that whatever region you... Whether ignored or given less attention, if it is not given that much weightage, then I have to believe in general that you created a complete system which... Irrigation, I will come soon to know about the return of irrigation. By providing troops, you solved any emergency in June. There was no air force at that time. By the end of May, a Bareilly Division, which was a complete division, i.e., approximately nine units plus its supporting units, many, about 14-15 units became additionally available there.

So what did you need for the operations? Sichan's troops, you take them down on purpose. And without sending you to another place with me, tell the troops we were just told this. It was for that time. Then I will come beyond that. In March, they de-inducted me; after that, they sent me on leave. So I had two months leave on 20th June. It was supposed to end, but this thing was in the bye and off. It became clear that it means so much in the media. When I started coming, I finished my leave. Means I told you how to do my duties. I used to be a bachelor, some cool guy; there was no such problem. We knew the whole area.

And so I joined N Area. Took, and on June 3 or 4, maybe June 4 or 5. This is how flights used to run from here, which the Army... That I took it away from him, and by doing this, I had reached the unit. And at that time, after that, send a leave recall message were going or were sent, but there was no way. That's what I'd have to say about that too. He put forth the full details in his testimony that he wanted to hide the fact that I had joined from Lee Walter, and even I became suspicious as to why they kept these things.

What is the purpose of hiding these things? It is a simple fact because see that as many next officers sent recall notices to people. Some have come on 12th June, some on 15th June, and some have come. Leave extension for those who were our IC. It was done for whatever reasons while there was a war going on, so these things were very common. Meaning related to my trial, that is how I'm just going by chronology. First, when I came back to the unit around June 8th, according to a CO, according to his statement, according to him, he was told that you are almost... Actually, a company has to be sent to send 80 men.

So what did they do in Siachen? The second tenor of people's soldiers was almost... It had been six or seven months since they de-inducted and called, and it was around 21,000 from a height of 10 feet to 9-10 feet. The order was given to him in a single day, and the distance, which was approximately de-induction distance, was approximately those people cover 20 to 50 to 55 kilometers in a day. Come on, let's go with the battle, obviously, yes. Any helicopter is special to them. Only by inducing D, which is there, first D, the battalion commanders had come after being inducted. It was not that there were people there. If they weren't there, then don't send them to these people.

Sent, and their weapons, which were now... We had a shelf of 1970 vintage at that time. There were loading rifles whose life was over. It was already official, and on paper too, it was different. Wise, which was to be back-loaded, then this... It has automatic fire, which fires a single shot. This is not defensive for the mountains. It is okay that you are sitting, and because you have automatic support fire. But if in any attack or assault, if you want to go, then you have to bust fire for that. You need a weapon because you have covered yourself. You are in me; you come out sad; you are fire. Let's do it now; there will be only one fire, so ha ha, that there will be a single shot, and there will be a lot of restrictions in that too.

I was interested in this. Then what was there after that? It was certain that the mood would change if she came from above. To zero it, first, you need to find the range. If you want, you will do zero if there is a change. HIS TRAGEDY WEAPON CHANGES. So due to all these things, I informed CO sahab. I had told Shat sahab with a grain of salt that, sir, you give us, please give us INSAS rifles; they had not arrived. If the units are brand new, then they will give us issue. If you do it, then only it will be declined.

Okay, yes, this... I mean, whatever I repeat, whatever the whole thing I am saying is on record. From his statement, and I can show it too. Anybody who wants to see it and challenge, and I also say that if does anyone think I said something wrong? I am free to file a defamation case, and whatever end I will address and bring out the facts that these are actual facts. So whatever we are doing, each one of them today on your channel. Thing that's burnt out by records, documentary or oral testimony. They told the denier soldiers that you are going to the rear area, you lame. Our rear was that rear area; you go. If people are happy, then someone has said it.

Didn't report that we will go there. We will get some leisure time for a day or two. But we had to stand in open trucks. After crossing Dungla, you brought us forward. Staged, staged even further. Finally, within three or four days on 10th June, we chale hain. And within three days, we landed up. Meaning at the base of this, Brigadier Devendra Singh sahab had 70 brigades. Reached the area. Now what happened was that in the meantime, there's a little of this bit of Golmaal comes out here that Chief Malik sahab met Commander sahab on 10th June. Come to the area, and then they start speaking bad.

Devendra Singh, who on the night of 9th and 10th June, an attack was launched on 5203, which the briefing off was a partial success. Brigadier Devendra Singh and our one officer and 14 soldiers were martyred. Bodies still lying in area 5203, wherever they reached below, we were. The situation was such that on 10 June, when Chief Malik Sahib went there, Devendra Singh sahab said that I want fresh and motivated troops because till now, two units, 12 Jakla and 11 GR, which was de-inducted by glacier, he had seen that it meant that someone who was young and the troops that are here now, I have one thing I would also like to clarify that I gave an interview five days ago.

The cover is on Sandhu sahab's channel, and mine is in it. Something came out of my mouth, or I said it. It probably remained incomplete because 12 Jakal and 111 also to GR because she came from Glacier units, and the way the operation was initially being done, they had no success. When I got it, I immediately had an infarct. Today, Captain Manoj Pandey sahab's operator was because 111 GR is my parrot. His communication came that, sir, we have... This is the thing that you have missed.

I said in the interview that she brought 12 and 111 GR had no success till then, so I want to clarify that actually what I thought was success in the sense from the way the commanders were while the proceedings are pending, everyone is working on the ground. If they were staying, then this was what they were saying that we will come. We had set up an ambush through which we cut the enemy supply line. If the enemy and supplies cannot reach him, then this... You see, people fight so hard for their respect. Soldier's ground is touching. They are soldiers for their honor. Whatever happens to your life, your organs are at risk.

But let's put it in otherwise; they will go. Otherwise, this is a very touching thing, in fact, which I also gave notice, a lot, a lot. It is a painful experience that I... Malik sahab, if I want to refer to the book, then this page, this is theirs, this is their book. I am on camera; I would like to show its Kargil from Surprise to Victory. Page number is 87. In this, it is said that in this, generally, their... This is the second paragraph from the top. So General Malik sahab says this, that the surveillance, the ground troops, he was not doing surveillance as per... If they should go in this weather, then if he was not going, then I would like to talk to General sahab.

It is asked in my notice that, sir, this... Your surveillance statement is this. You withdraw because the ground troops, they were doing their duty and doing whatever they were instructed to do. He did everything he was given. Now it is a different matter if some of your generals, by removing people from patrolling duty or if someone becomes a zoo by driving troops. Who are the generals whom you basically support? You made them go scutt free till the end. Gave him another operational place. After the Kargil War in the area, when everything... Major General came out despite that Badvaap. I read in the newspaper, etc., because we were on posts forward that they were making zoo, etc. in le.

Well, it's obvious to him that resources are diverted like this. So this is my request or my saying that these surveillance ground troops to blame because they did your work, whatever task you did. If you... Tomorrow I will tell someone to leave this post. Give it and organize a party later. He won't have to because if he doesn't... If you go, you will see that my CO's statement is that I just CO them. I told, "Sir, according to his statement." It was said that this particular equipment was staged. Now we have a little... Let's wait and do because there are still a lot of routes slippery.

Then he said that this is my refusing to follow operational instructions. That's why I removed them from Siachen. Sir, I had sent leave under lock and key. If I had not obeyed you earlier, you could have court-martialed me later. You had imposed these charges, which finally came. Was acquitted because whose orders were obeyed. He had alleged that if I go beyond that, then right now we follow the sequence that on 10th June this... Finally, on 14th June, Brigadier Devendra, when my troops reached Singh's area condition because they came as it is to boot. Flak is used in CN; what is it?

Has a very hard soul because in this, kram pon are worn on which you... Those are thorns; he would have slipped. Yes, that's basically his grip, even if it's just that little. If it happens, then you will be on ice or whatever is deep ice, which is very hard ice. Beyond that, it is double-layered and used for climbing. It happens now when it comes down, and then after that, when it was used in rocky terrain, a... So 55 kilometers descended plus this induction. It was through enemy fire that we walked. Where was the location of 11 GR during that time?

So about one to two days march from there, if you felt like it with Battle Lots, then the condition of the soldiers has deteriorated significantly. My platoon is below me, then Brigadier Devendra Singh sahab, he is waiting because he talked to the Chief. He was General Release Badwap. Now General Badwap Devendra Singh sahab was not told that the troops that are coming have disembarked from CN. That too last evening, neither did the CO. He told whomever he told, then finally the main issue is that Brigade Devendra Singh sahab did not know this at all.

So it seemed that now these batley batley troops have come. What else I have is my task right now? I will give a good beating to Evi Joe 5203. Till now he is sitting on hold. Brigadier Devendra Singh told me when the briefing started, I told them, "If desired, we exchange greetings generally." And he said as soon as he finished the briefing, I started by saying, "Sir, I just want to bring out your notice the parade state of my boys who reached here." He said, "No, no, wait first you listen to the briefing, and then I will listen."

So he gave me a briefing. This MFA is made to take us on 5203. It has become very cruel; we want to be clear our eastern fan. And our last mission, which failed, the reason was that they had become daylighted because they got delayed. So now the next task we are planning it like this. We divided into groups and approached three or four. We will do it so that the enemy doesn't find out. It will seem that the enemy is coming from all sides, and it is not able. Two or whichever party arrived first will achieve success, and others in follow-up when people come, you just do your basic weapon emission and water in the bottle and a little something to eat, a little bit to eat.

Also, the situation was such that you understand that puris used to come in sacks, two or three days because our cookhouse is two days behind. We didn't have this kind of ration. There was no special ration, nothing, and which my company was gone. Now we have it in sacks. Now the ration is full, 100 kg bag of flour. It is 50-60 kilos of rice or whatever. The tin is a complete 5-liter cookhouse. Ours is attached below, and ours is attached above. So there is some way of cooking; otherwise, eat. Will you ever get the same sacks for... If pickles come along, we used to consider it a party. We are very fond of him. The snow is melting; the stream is flowing. Dip in it because puris become papad. I used to go and eat a little dip of my own.

So we never face this kind of situation, but soldiers... He does not complain about the Indian Army. You have power; that's why you are no army in the world can defend the Indian Army. We people, whatever is there, is our situation; that is our situation. Brigadier Devendra Singh also meant it is not that he is Brigadier and that is... Heads off to that man that he is at that age. Sitting, he is suffering the same judge means riggers off war; he is sitting with us. But one benefit of this is that the commander comes to know that the actual ground, what are the positions of the people in headquarters? AC, they are sitting outside the offices saying this can't guess.

So when you Brigadier Kushal Thakur will tell now, who was the CO of 18 Grenadiers at that very time, his retired age Brigadier, I was watching the interview 15 days ago when it was coming on NDTV. They were telling that we were crawling in these purses of the attack to Tolo Ling and Tiger Hill. Bole hum, I'm crawling from the big armpit. When I asked why he stopped, I found out that it's dead. I ask the person in front why. Otherwise, it turns out that that too is over. Then comes the news that so and so I am also dead. And the same headquarters we got at that time.

Now I don't know what information they are giving. It's 23 minutes to remove it, he said. It happened that in the headquarters, they used to say that, "Friend, you and four-five militants are sitting there, and we have received news that his emission is over. You stand up and do something. And clear it up." So this kind of misinformation used to come from certain headquarters. This general who was sitting above, yes, this GOC 15 is Lieutenant General Kishanpal. What was this mindset, and how was this mindset? It is very important to know that this... The information that Captain Kalia is giving, which IB has already given, it told you a guess, but that thing formula is on ground now.

First of all, it happens that there is a ghost here in this mansion. The ghost remains; the day the ghost is seen, it remains. If someone slaps you, then I found out that he tells everyone that I... The ghost slapped me; everybody used to say that commanders, whether it turned out to be right or wrong. New up to General Badwap has added in this. According to this book, there were as many generals as they were fairies; they were angels; they didn't have any. There is no blame left, and the responsibility lies with the Chief Statement because it touches you.

See, in this interview of yours, I, who was the radio set operator, because he... If he does it honestly, it hurts. I'm just convinced to him through your channel. No, I never had anyone who was ground. They were troops; they were doing their job well. The it is if at all there was no success, it is because of certain method of certain generals and the way they were being done. Even will come above them in details as to which ones, the generals who did all this. But Brigadier Devendra goes there, pass you went, yes, I went. He briefed me, and then I told him that, "Sir, this is a state."

And he, Brigadier Devendra Singh, I was sized for the second time, and the time plan is like this. Last Light Cooperation Latch must be because during the day, you see those three. He has interlocking fire from place to place. He has to hit the AD gun from three places till there. But what D gun was on the anime? Air defense gun would have a very thick round. Its long-range fire is also... There is a lot of pressure, so you can consider like the accuracy of a sniper's fire. You need to get into bigger weapons and automatic weapons. The thing I am getting is because of it.

Is designed to engage the aircraft and helicopters. Atas, when they told, I have a meaning that is the situation that my someone in the troops has blood clots. His nails are very nice when you... So many people come down in one day, so many of them. Your weight doesn't get better for days. If they don't take it, then I took them for induction. During this time, I saw through fire that their condition... So I have someone in my court martial. I did not give the statement because I... There was no need to give any statement. The witnesses who came were eyewitnesses. He confirmed all this condition of the troops in the statement of some.

Sir, the condition of the soldiers of the witnesses' house. She was delicate; don't even... That was not right. Or something delicate is the word dev uses it to. You also described the state of troops. This is what I told Brigadier Devendra told Singh sahab that, "Sir, if this is the condition, then I don't think so." S A Company Commander, someone must have told you that you should be fresh, and those troops are coming, but this one is fresh. No, we came down from the sink last evening. And this is the problem with... This is the problem with them, and I also told me, "Sir, this is my index finger; can still see this is mine."

Brave of complexion. This injury is from 1998; this is from August or September. This is my finger; this is Solan; see today also its size. I told them at that time it was quite swollen, so I showed it to him that, "Sir, this is my index finger. I had an injury there, and it's been six months since then. Its swelling has passed just like that. If it is not even an inch less, then you soldiers, considering the situation, he came last evening. I just gave him this example. Thought for a while, and then he says that, "Friend, look at the troops."

I made with this thing. The demands that were made were something else, and what you guys... If it is something else, then it will be reported to me by the GOC. I will have to talk to my brother to complete the task. For fresh, energetic, and motivated, I need troops, or I need fresh blood. I am already in the first attack. Have been exhausted, and they were also similar place they come from glacier. The only difference is that two-three months ago, he was four years old.

Although the Indians must have landed months ago, there is protocol inside the army. Now see this; there is talk of 15th June, and it will end by 15th June. Move orders for that division have arrived. By the first week of June, Chief Sahib came and took complete control and went to Poland. There were a lot of casualties by the time we came back. There was no result because these people just climb up there; there are militants here. Climb up; nothing will happen if you climb here too. Our maximum casualties due to this happened then, and there Brigadier Devendra.

What did they do in Singh's area? Wally's Choking. They occupied. The enemy had started that on top of it; we end. Slowly and gradually, the proceedings got engaged. This is their strategy for this. She was a little smart and very smart. Smart means brilliant is the word for the very... He didn't like it in such a hurry. I did not show this to anyone. I also paid for it; there was little appreciation for it. That's what's happening above you in this.

I connected to this thing; we go back to trial. Don't forget that Captain Manoj will come. Pandey, who received Paramvir Chakra later. So in the beginning, them and Brigadier... Now Brigadier Amol Asthan. That time, Left Amol Asthana used to be CO of 11 GR. So he was given a task, so he said that this is an impossible task, and this we can't. How we will? There is a... It is not a percentage of success or something is impossible. He had said that the chances of success were zero.

If yes, if I assume a fighter, tell the pilot that you have oil in the plane. No, there is nothing, but please come on, please. Just do it; it's only for a minute until you take the... You will turn off the fuel, and your story will end. But you go and bomb Islamabad. Griya Aao. So hi, I'm going to say that, "Sir, my equipment is not ready." No, there is nothing; Captain Manoj Pandey alone G will take the gun, and all of them have to take will definitely kill Pakistanis. A body then has the command to analyze how about end control and daring the attack?

The thing has to be topped, but these people are the same. They were doing feedie mindset in mindset. Now how much did they know whether it was someone or not? The secret has not come out till date in the investigation. Why was all this information not given? The reason why the update was not given, he also became so casual when told Brigadier Devendra Singh that if it is so, then Brigadier Devendra Singh informed GOC Br Division Headquarters. Division Headquarters doing nothing.

They will go another way; they will be sucked. Then Brigadier Devendra Singh had taken the oath on his shoulders. He took responsibility for that attack and called it off. That's what he was taking off, so much of pressure from the enemy. Most difficult area and from headquarters also. And for how many years did he have to fight my own battle? Yes, that's for a later time. The thing is, we will come to that also because we will divide it into three.

We also carry that cover on stages. The interview I did with him, it was a very long interview. What difficulties did he face along the way? The ground they were dealing with, he explained himself and later through the legal punishment that he received. Coming to your legal punishment, yes, now when I talked to Brig Devindra Singh Sahab, he said, "Look, who is the GOC? He will come tomorrow. You talk to him, and I give him a day or two."

I said, "I can, sir, in a day or two, I don't think so because my ammunition is... Half of my ammunition is still in boxes. Weapons have not arrived; I have not tested them. Not even once did we fire that he... If you have come down from the glacier, then the glacier, you only fire when you don't have to. So the enemy will know your position. If it goes, the fire that occurs is from the same weapon, which is absolutely effective and pressurizing.

If it is made for the same purpose, then SLR, she hasn't been fired. Now we need her. Ammunition has to be filled in it; only after that, we had a party. Now that look at the one that these people think that the army is number one. There is no number; there is no army force. Like if you drive a JCB or disintegrate the bulldozer into pieces and say, "Sir, this is JCB; this cutting is... Why is the mountain not being cut? Why is it not being cut?"

Now it becomes a JCB when it becomes a cohesive unit is formed. Similarly, when 80 of men or of 150 men or of 20, the strength of men is concentrated in one place, then it becomes a force. If I just want to lift the glass with my finger, I can't stand. We need the use of all five fingers as a cohesive force. Now that's my... I was given Adok Tropes. Had to say that the number is complete because 80, there are four JCOs, 80 men, I am a CO. The officer had also requested that, "Sir, take me along with him."

He said, "No, no, ji, that is a task. It is not clear; you can take it, please take it." Please note that the briefing will be sent on June 89. Has been on 10th June while elder Devendra Singh, even those who are speaking later, don't know this. I am telling you that we are glaciers. Returning troops, and those troops, Chief Saheb is not giving what he promised. Gone is the role of General Badwap. One chief said that I will give you fresh troops. Brigadier Devendra Singh, he demanded this in his statement.

It is said in the trial that the next day will be General. If Bhadwar Saheb comes, then we two of mine Jesse also stood there to collect the map. They salute him and sell him a captain. Captain of Five Para who had come earlier, Bist Sameer Bist. Well, he came in May itself when initially that happened suddenly, right? What happened suddenly? SOS kind of situation to be immediate, a company of Phi Para when I came in May, Captain Beast was also there.

Then General Bhadwar said, "Yes, what is the problem?" I said, "Sir, there is no problem; the condition of troops is not good, and they are not fit for an assault being planned." So he said a little like this, said and said, "But strange that elem troops talking like this, they meant it. It doesn't matter if you are acclaimed. It doesn't matter where you've been sitting since. How much work are you sitting in? You are sitting late while the one from the army.

The army has its own protocol, and that is once the unit comes down from CN, the guy never gets wet again. Entire service can be excused only is x because its medical implications are so. There are more of that particular tenor because to reach many posts many times, if it takes six-seven days, then after doing this, he... It is said that a person stays there, and after his tenor, the unit is not sent to sea for 'til the time that generation of soldiers.

Chances are that when the sound is dispersed from them, I told him, "Sir, it is 12 and 11." The example of GR that you are giving is... Had given him some respect a little earlier. Got my troops previous evening are descended, so there is a difference. However, if you order, we will go for any task. I told them this clearly, and this court proved even in testimony trial. Every person in the summary of evidence in the inquiry, this statement becomes clear on the stage that I told him this, and then the GOC, he said, "Okay, we will let you know."

After saying this, whosoever went with Devendra Singh sahab, he had a meeting with Brigadier sahab. After that, we got worse after his departure. Devendra Singh sahab said that now we are giving you an alternative task. If you do not participate in the assault phase, if possible, we should set up an ambush ahead to cut off the enemy lines. So the task given to us, she was the one I told you about earlier. He came from Captain Manoj Pandey's operator.

So what he was saying was that the first one of 5203, the enemy lines were cut off for the one who had the attack. We had gone to ambush what had to be done. Lagaye along with Captain Pandey, and to that is what was referring to is the same. The task currently assigned to the troops of my company was that was given, so we were on the point that one... If there is a cohesive force, then what happens during this time? What we did to make our company... Someone from some company shared this.

Well, we made sections, and we made them platoons. Organized in, and their weapons that this MMG will lift, this LMG will lift, this AGL will raise these emissions, it will raise this along with which other party will run like this? Whose most difficult approach is their? According to the briefing, how all that we were organizing our work, we were constantly doing this. It is not that there... We, the soldiers, were sitting and eating free ration. That was not on.

So all this was going on. Company I and there, all this happened, and we go and set up an ambush and complete that. On June 18, CO sahab arrives by helicopter. Colonel AK Srivastava doesn't know? Briefing was given, which he later confirmed that I was given all wrong information. Brigadier PC Katoch and General Bhadwar had gone. By that, he is not mute in the company. She has gone, and this has happened, yes, so big.

Things are such that the officer has tried to instigate his subordinates. Means if you... After saluting a general, I also asked him that, "Sir, what is the matter? If there is a problem, then say yes, sir, there is a problem. The condition of the soldiers is not good, and that means physically we are not in a good state generally." He told the GOC, "You see this thing, that how high-handedness the generals show to him."

I felt bad about how to say this. I gave it, and when I verified it, the answer was maybe you were expecting or wanting. Should they be told or no, no, sir? It's okay, whatever is sacrificed after going to bat. Happened because their accountability is not there. It doesn't exist; it doesn't exist; it doesn't exist till date. Even today, see some general's Kargil. Nothing related to this happened. So many brigadiers' careers are over. Junior officers lost their lives, 527. Those who are sacrificed were 1000. There are more people than the cost of achieving it is obvious to you.

We have to pay for someone's mistake that he was so high-ended. Something else was fed to the CO, which was used in the CO trial. Come and say on evidence that this color information about investigation atas was rang. And this was told to me by Brigadier Devendra Singh, not Brigadier Devendra Singh, Brigadier PC Katoch, and Major General V S Padwar. And then they come when they come on the other side, they gave me nothing by helicopter. Didn't even give me a chance to ask a question that you don't move forward.

I said, "Sir, what happened? Sir, can you please tell me what happened? Actually happened?" No, no, you move down. He ordered to move down. There was a location of 11 jeers, and I came there. He stayed there with his companions and everyone else. And what day is this? 18th June? The point is to remove me from the command of the company that I was preparing for. The company to which we went and did the task, they were ambushing and setting up the entire company.

We were somehow able to become a force that prepared like a fighting force so that it works like a mean punch, act like a cohesive force. Then he came and did something like this. He talked to me from behind. After sending down, I immediately informed Brigadier Devendra Singh sahab again as soon as he became available. I said, "Sir, this is a miss. I have been convinced, so before leave, I rejoined for this very thing. What has happened is that which is unfit. I have troops; I am fit, and I want to voluntarily do the task which is ongoing."

So he said, "Okay, let me come. I will revert to you later." It was told in the trial that CO Colonel A Srivastava did not believe me again to give me a chance to use this. It seems from all these things that somewhere they... This entire stay was managed by this thing. By that time, he had been released. That this guy reported me to this officer, 5770 is done, and it is outspoken.

Person, he doesn't mellow down. Means I'm very fourth right in speaking is like this, which this also remained in his mind. And he... So they hatched this whole thing. That means I was never given a second chance. While I have repeatedly called Brigadier Devendra, he requested Singh, but the CO would always come and stop because the CO was in the middle. I came actually after his arrival. Brig Devendra Singh ceased to be my CO, and Colonel Srivastava became the CO.

If everything is fine, then you have told this whole story. As long as you have been sucked, now let's talk. What happened in the trial comes that the court martial says some things there. So we have discussed it; now the things that we discussed, it hasn't happened. Let's take it a little. What and what, explain it all once. Find out what charges were against you and what were the reasons on which you quit?

[music] Convictity. His title is Disby of Lawful Command. Refuse to do so by stating his troops are in unfit state to launch an attack. End work toot fact and alternative charge tha Army Act Sec 63 presumed to good order and military discipline. One Dard by Brigadier Devendra Singh to attack 5203 improperly stated that his troops and himself are unfit for an attack operation. When we are Birdy Devendra Singh in the trial, prosecution witness number one though till date, now you see that the entire army, how does the legal system work?

Brigadier Devendra Singh came on the first day, and in his testimony, he completed. Told that this is how it happened; I gave the briefing. And then in cross-examination to Brigadier Devendra Singh sahab, my those who were in council asked, "Sir, this what did you order? What did you say or no?" I did not order him to attack 5203. Attack. So after five days, four days after five days, another company also had to come for that. And all that had to happen, so on June 15, I never ordered the attack.

And even then, if I did not give it, then when it came to this, then my trial from my side, so it's all over. Meaning when the attack was not ordered at all, there is no mention of Diso Bay because in both charges that the reading line is Y because of the charge. You have to prove every part. Every buddy is innocent unless proved guilty. But in the army, especially in my case, it was that mostly in the army, if your trial is different, if you have started as a junior officer, then it means you are guilty.

This is my age. Advocate also said that although the procedure says something else, but that book and ground, there is a lot of gap in the situation. Practice, scapegoating, scapegoating, or there is always some motive. Someone who trial order is either by Jack Branch. There are certain numbers that every year this much quota has to be fulfilled; only then their vacancies will be released. And what are you talking about? It is true. See that one you and this mostly junior officers you will meet Colonel Colonels and Bilo, whoever is a general, never has five sevens.

He will also face loss at some point in the year. Seniority or for the purpose of pension two years. And what will a junior officer get? Cashiering and RE dismissal from service. There is no talk below this. If Captain Major has the rank of Colonel, then it could be possible for him to retire compulsorily with pension like this. Someone do that, yes, this is also a system, yes, that's it. Harky is in dealing of law; otherwise, every buddy is supposed to be equal to you.

Yes, now he comes. If he said so from my side, then some members of the trial and even the court, the body language was that man, this is a trial. It's over, but then they turned around. Aise Baise Jo Hai, somehow they continued with the trial, and the benefit in that trial also was this. It was my benefit that all the evidence came. We, because otherwise, in which the most important was the cross of CO. Examination also like Colonel Srivastava, a lot more than that.

Yes, a lot more than that. Evidence that there is on functioning, what in a unit during Kargil War may be functioning and a brigade, and I mean, what's going on? He gave the whole statement. I have done this with you, which means the book is complete. If the record is an official record, then it has all things available. That's why I said that, "Sir, I have also written in the notice that my within the trial you will complete any one. You will get a sample unit to see how it is functioning."

It was happening that new weapons were kept, are there but are not being given, and you are sending maybe go and do that, and about that, I can't even tell anyone. You can even say it. Are you no longer there? And finally, the same troops which I mean they came along with those who had it. The two or four that were taken from them were called INSAS. By arranging on the spot because CO takes the one that has more power.

He completed Ji Borong Back Boro Steel cleared in whatever trial recorded again when the witnesses' testimony came. Another one of them was Major Syed Nimtullah. He also said that, "Brother, he never refused for any attack." His testimony also while that Brigade Commander's Brigadier Devendra Singh's officer was a signal officer. That, that, they also testified, that is, then he was a signal officer. Then convictity, this is Army Section 63, which is the legal basis of the army. It's a system; he actually misuses it.

How did the provision get good? It's because she is good for them. Good in the sense it yan se it tire one. I am saying sarcastically that you can do anything. What will happen if the button of your shirt opens? If left, then take the biggest one from there. This is the actual charge by putting it in 63. There is a provision made by the British that when they call a man Kalu Indian, had to sort it out or not? When Gora Saheb became insolent, he... When he couldn't prove anything, ultimately he brought it to 63, and that's it.

Provision Indian Army in its colonial past is continued as it. And those who talk about legal reforms at atus at see 2 functional around 10. Now Brigadier Surendra Singh was... The case is still in AT for 13-14 years, and nothing happened; there is no decision on that. Beyond that, which comes with the trial, if other things come out simultaneously, then one of them is that finally, when prosecution witness closed, we plead off. No case has been filed against us, sir. You don't have any proof, so they plea rejected.

Reject meats, that is its legal implication, which we also wrote in our submission that when you saying that after prosecution witnesses, if the case is not from our side, then we are not presenting any defense. From our side, the case is closed, so you now no further proof should be needed. Not that you have the material you think, but then he testified in court called Major General VS Baswar, who they are disallowed only questions on half the topics. Whatever we did in cross-examination used to ask, and Major General Badwap said trial, I am on oath for which I took them there.

Where was Slime and Liar inside the courtroom? Which was also published in Asian Age Magazine. Major calls his headline was Major Calls Major General Slime and Liar, and in that court, lots of your reporters in GCM, including New York, used to attend it. Reporter John of Bans also came from Times. So what happened daily was that the people in the court, the proceedings, you... There will be no effort after reading the proceedings. Is this a court vote going on there? These things are being talked about openly, loudly.

The senses came from my side only because I used to point it out that you have no conscious. You have no moral. This thing that witness you are saying something, you are doing something, this note is... All kinds of things happened, but leave that aside. No, we will leave it, okay. Tried to give them a try, and the moment they used to try you to get agitated and point it out, so finally that thing to some extent happened, and to some extent, it could not happen.

And this, after doing all this in the trial, he finally... This Wednesday is not Army Act but General Wednesday. Said what was that thing that you lied? Yes, he did see we told him when cross-examined. We asked him, "Did you tell Major Bhatnagar on 16th June? If any order was given, then he said no, didn't order." Then asked them if you... What happened at that time, the GOC said that JCO told that there are such problems.

Only then confirm all that version, then finally, which the matter was already certified, i.e., the court who was the convening authority of the inquiry? Those who ordered the Court of Inquiry, Major General Badwap is also a witness in his case. And that judge also because the convening authority basically the superintendent BIST's statement has come that it is clear that Major Bhatnagar told GOC that if did we will go for any task. He never came during this time, meaning never this thing.

They were not asked; it did not come out. And what did the court do in the final trial? He, as a court witness, called and called as a court witness. Then when we started examining them, court witness is if you thought that if there is evidence against me, then it should matter. Ended there; you need a court witness. It was not supposed to happen; you had proof; it was prime off. Si, you him Kanna not at all in his defense. Single word because your witnesses have scanned all in my favor, and there is no offense made out.

Then he called them, and then this... He lied that Major Bhatnagar did not tell me if we would go for any task. Though this statement, even if you don't say anything, when you... No order was given, no order from anywhere. If not, then on what basis can you say this? That means that one fear has become negative. What is positive in this? Negative, no negative. They see the charge. It seems to me to be June 15th, isn't it? This is not even charging; yes, it is not charging at all.

There is no charge; they are saying so. If he didn't say it, then he didn't say it. What if he didn't say it? So the beginning that is not even an issue, so this... What is a lemon? Now you understand what does the judicial system do with this? Ji Ips twists it around so much and buts that never straight talk or straight evidence. If that was the case, then shame on you. General of Badvaap was to be done in whatever charge; it was done finally.

The court said that the acquitted of the first charge, disb off lawful command. There is no evidence found guilty, and which the second one is that Army Act section. You spoke inappropriately; you didn't even lie. Now you see the evidence of the charge. See that one dared by Brigadier Devender Singh to attack p 203. This is the goal they ever ordered. Not only improperly stated, now you look at the charge, what do you do improperly? Meaning if you are in the battlefield, the commander who has come from outside the area and who one is being told that now let me tell you.

Now take the car; assume it is under me, and you can reach Delhi in two hours. You say, "Sir, I am a very good driver. I have a very good car, but I have one tire." No, I am not going on three wheels right now. I can't; the car won't move; I can't reach. If I can get it in two hours, then it will be gone in four hours too. If I can't reach, then this thing, how can this statement be inappropriate? The high-handedness of our generals is that he tells them the ground realities that a...

How can the Major speak in front of us? Because if it was like that, if I did something, Brigadier had said wrong on 15th June, Devendra Singh removed me at that time. Should have done it and sent it; neither is it a brigadier, you see, and he is my commander in war; he is my CO in war. So how can you know anybody take offense to it? When Brigadier Devendra Leo says himself, and maybe I am someone, I was noticing that he was praising me in the interview.

He also addresses me here and there as an intelligent officer. He addresses me; he was a good officer or something like that. Whatever happened in later interviews also, if he has said it, then somehow Brigadier Devendra Singh said this because aware of the situation, and he knows that I am speaking the truth. He himself, that means these people did that to them later. If you get stuck in this, then one over VELMINIK PEOPLE ACTUALLY WORKED WE Jin Jin people see in three stages.

This is before the war, during the war, and after the war. Who gave before war warning? Captain Saurabh Kalia was martyred. Mera Aapke Do you know what happened to us so long? Talking and during the war, Gin people tried to make sense of him. Pressure was put on many people who were saved from being sacked. From or removal from command or from court from Marshall, and there will be many of these that by forcefully pressurizing them in a way.

Like I will take the rest now, a CO rank man, he is saying that there was pressure on me. It is Brigadier Kushal Thakur who is telling that he should compress it, and when I told him to IC, I told you to hand over to IC. Retain the command; IC refused. He talked about this pressure many times. She has said many times that what was this pressure? Why are you posting it? Now I will compare it. I am from the Battle of Long Wall in which India, a company strength of approximately 120-130, the men killed more than 200 people from Pakistan.

Men were killed, and they were told that if you want to withdraw, then withdraw because we are not able to support you, so we don't want to have the men killed 71 years ago. This is the thing on which the Border movie is made. If the Border movie is made, then it will withdraw them. Meaning you look at a field commander in that 1971. How much trust did the army generals have in me? Of and command that he is a company commander gave authority. That is your decision because it is in touch with the troops, and he never lost respect for the unit or he will not back down from this thing; he will give up his life.

But the provided will not achieve anything. Either we achieve our objective, you gave up your life when this is the best that you hit the enemy, and your casualty is not affected. Do as Captain Cheema did in 5770, and what army medal did they give him? It is a PVC. Level Attack I'm theirs, yes, that's what I'm seeing was the way General VP Malik wrote the book. That's what's written in 'Brewery'; that's what's written in. Yes, that's that.

So just like we did with Paramveer Chakra, Subedar Bana Singh has been given his captaincy. Cheema deserves a PVC alley; you think it requires guts according to which the operation was done. So he reached here and there, he 12, one officer and 11 Pakistanis who were killed. It was no small matter that he was a captain, a rank officer, and that too is not one who has any nerve. Did it, and what was that climb? That one kilometer you should see that climbing feature.

That's the climate around Kmdi. And there I am there by myself at that temperature. The rope is fixed as we were climbing. Even after that, you wear gloves and walk. Sewing clothing inside gloves. Despite what happens, we are in rope. Keep notes so that you have a grip. Despite that, the fingers become such that your finger will bend for half an hour. No, it's that cold with gloves. Despite this, because the rope is cold and you have continuous contact, you extended one hand, and you extended the other.

If he increased it, he achieved that thing. Is it a near impossible task? They have done that; they went there and sat down. Recon silenced everything, and finally, they could reach in time; they could achieve the... It is said that surprise; everything works. God favors the brave, so he did and achieved, and you... I see an ad; I am so sorry. I see it sometimes that he showed that a boss is sitting, and he... Junior comes from marketing and says that you have achieved so many great goals. Profit worth hundreds of crores has been made, and is your appraisal that would be a box?

There are two peanuts inside it. Peanuts, I immediately remembered that ad. Come see this; this is what these guys are doing and own, meaning war army medal and address. No, why is he in headquarters? People sitting here should change this thing. No, look, we are sitting on this. You can laugh initially, but it is very deep. The thing is, people's lives are at risk over this. The country's security is in place. Now you can use this thing.

Watch the real reality of Kargil War. Those people from the rank of captain, people who fought Kargil War till Breed Rank, take a number of those who fought at the front. You don't even need to remember your name. Ask the army machinery which of these... How many people have you made Major General? Because a soldier's ultimate... This is the test for an officer, isn't it? That he has seen a war, that too like Kargil, the war which is such an example in the entire world. The war was fought at high altitude and faced so many adversities.

The war was fought in... So you think, and who Brigadier Devendra Singh was commanding at one time because that's why I say Brigadier Devendra. My eyes have seen that thing about Leo. Commander's job would have been one had I been in leather. Isn't it true that you say from your heart that, "Friend, this... What if it says to go in front of the bullet? Stand up; I will stand up." This happens. Leader, that's what the leadership of Brigadier Devendra Singh was.

I have seen them with my own eyes on the ground, so the troops respect it very much. No matter how much officers have worked under them, anytime you talk, anytime you talk, someone about Brigadier Devendra Singh will not listen to any negative talk from any junior. Whoever has worked under him since then, Brigadier Devendra Singh at one time, he was commanding 11 battalions, and the more difficult task was theirs. Because if you ever go there in Batalik, if you go, you will see that near that heliport, you can't see anything beyond that.

Ladar Nala comes roaming around, meaning you... If you go here, then you will know further. Then it looks so... It's something like you are facing a wall and an enemy which is sitting on top. Well, Ant Stock about the brigade that comes in and out of the... He is not the brigade commander, but his headquarters. Sitting in front means in the middle of the fire. He is sitting there, and you will see that he... That brigade commander under a boulder. Other people are sitting under another boulder, sitting with cover because of enemy noise.

He is staining you with what he has. Neither he nor Joe even will let me live. The strategy he took is now 11 are commanding battalions, and you will be shocked to know that he was never given a promotion to Major General, and he was never given a war medal. He has been punished. He has been punished the most successful and the first one to clear it. Gaya that Batalik sect and with least casualty, our which one some one my legal... There was talk in circles that actually at a time they always try to adjust Brigadier A K Duggal, who was deputy GOC 3rd INF Div to tell this.

We were trying to appoint two commanders. It was good there when there was only one commander. Can belong to any brigade or any... No matter what the unit's name or company's hats are true, so you never have to do as they say. Devendra also told that father is not a father. Who knew these kinds of things later? Karke means they are this after the war stage. That's how they're manipulating some of the records which are selected people, which his personal blue-eyed people are not operationally.

It was a complete success. It was tall according to the anime. Just give us the way to Kolappalur. Here, those who are dying of hunger and thirst have been der state, and whatever he has said, the accounts you get from Pakistan that their anime had become very bad. And that's what he achieved this day. Frontal attacks or even that was the attack of 5203. It's because he planned it so brilliantly. It's just that my company, which at that time, the troops I had were not fit at that time.

Were, and he took no offense to it. He said it means no word about the reality. What it just happened that I never thought about it. I did not even complain that Major Bhatnagar, no one in appropriate, nor did you tell him till date that he is your brother. What was your fault that you were not promoted? And look at the two who used to be PROs. Personally, I'm not saying anything against all these people because they are... They are I on legally; they are rising in the system.

Telling you an over velmal that the war people are fighting with captain rank. The actual rank of Brigadier is in fighting a war. It means even reaching the rank of Brigadier. A little bit of that happens, but as you Brigadier Devendra Singh, who was sitting, there is a platoon command commander there. The section commander is sitting there, and the commander is sitting, and you don't promote him. Gives you complete success. What could be? What does reason mean on this thing? You think that somewhere this...

Because what example are you presenting about Kargil Var? Brigade Devendra Singh's name in the entire Indian Army knows the heart of hearts. Every buddy knows what a man actually is, and you set an example that na na na. This is not the path to promotion. What is the way networking peace time? Soldier parties' obligation also in any way, I don't know. So all these things, because I have a meaning, I went straight to the field. I have seven years in my 9-10 years. I have spent six-seven years in the field to do one's work.

Peace time, I had very few jobs, and even in that, I used to fight in competitions like 11 GR. Captain Manoj Pandey of the deadly platoon, he achieved so much success with my platoon raised. We are young officer inlays. Now these are the lessons of this war. Even after 25 years, we still have that which is my legal. The notice was triggered, and I mentioned everything in it. It is the list that you see, sir, not the generals. Personally, I never say this, Avery.

General Sun Auras Qin, he is our brother in arms. Even if ever above a general, if a bullet is fired, we will stand in front of it. How can our general agree or not? That's the feeling we have for our generals, and that's where you'll see that some people are in the enemy's fire zone. Only medals remain outside during the fight. They are sitting in that area to take, and later he would get promoted and move ahead. I'm just waiting for another you now.

See that Amol Asthana, Lieutenant Colonel Amol Asthana, didn't make it to Bund Brigadier. Brigadier rank career, the COs of 11 GR should end, so you are here. All the examples are that these units and CO are giving you performance. Brigadier Kushal Thakur, he did make it because Brigadier Tiger L and Tolo Ling, their unit 18 was captured by both the Grenadiers. Was instrumental but did only make it to a Major General. So you say this are those who actually the officers who performed were given that much.

Did not get promotion as much as he deserved. I am not saying this; this is a record. You are showing what you are saying. Please let me know if it is in the public domain. You will have these thoughts in your mind with this view. Brigadier Devendra Singh does not understand that why not promoted or Brigadier. Why did Kushal Thakur not become Major General, or why not Lieutenant Colonel Amol Asthana? Became because look, Lieutenant Colonel, that too, even in that condition, his age would be 38-40 years.

They are sitting with the troops and doing all that. If so, are these people much older? Or the PRO sitting in the army headquarters, Colonel Saheb, has become the chief who is the head. The people of the quarters were given war service. Got a medal for the same name as 102 Brigade. Won't listen, but they got a young SM Uttam Yudh Seva Medal was awarded, whereas 5770 he did not share the report further. Did not go to neighboring Brigade, or did he... There is no accountability for that thing anywhere.

I mean, that's why I say this, right? For this, you may be one against the other. Don't

So for me, the Indian Army is everything. You can't say anything against it. Yes, there are officers whose faults may further refine the army, but it is for the army itself that they have to improve, not for me or anybody else. The army is a whole. If we are wrong, let's say in an incident like this, except in my case, please give me the name of Brigadier Devendra Singh as an example.

Don't you think, in your eyes, that Lieutenant Colonel Amol Asthana shouldn't have made it to the Major General rank? Right now, I am waiting for who will be the captain. Appappa is the officer with me. I am waiting; he is a brigadier now. If his board is about to happen, then I'm just waiting to see if he will make it. If they don't promote him, then what precedence are you setting for the army? If you don't like such people, it will only increase the issues because whatever the ultimate test of an army officer is, war is it. He has to face the enemy in action, and if he doesn't make it to general, then who else should?

Actually, the bottom line is that you supported him first, and you got support at the end of the day. The court martial was found. Yes, the perils of life are tough, but for me, I can swear by the Indian Army, and I will always be Indian till my last breath. There is no better organization than the army.

On that note, we can only thank you for your service, and I should thank those who are sacrificers—who lost their organs, mothers who lost their children, and families who suffered. The children laughed and said what was above. He did it in all situations, but we must ensure that we never land them again under such circumstances. This is also the purpose of this dialogue: it was a mistake, and it should not happen again.

But anyway, sir, you have explained all this in detail. You told me things; you told me your case. I think those who are watching will also see all the things now. It must have been cleared. Thank you, sir, for coming, and thank you very much for talking.
