[Music] [Music] All right, this all stand. We're going to take our songbooks over to song 314, "Hark the Herald Angels Sing," amen. Those coming in, song 314, "Hark the Herald Angels Sing," amen. All four verses of 314. All right, give everybody a second to grab a book. Come on in, amen. A Sunday morning service, song 314, here we go. "Hark the Herald Angels Sing," glory to the newborn King. Peace on Earth and mercy mild, God to sinners reconciled. Joyful all ye nations rise, join the triumph of the skies, with angelic host proclaim, Christ is born in Bethlehem. "Hark the Herald Angels Sing," glory to the newborn King. Christ by highest heaven adored, Christ the everlasting Lord. Late in time behold Him come, offspring of a virgin's womb. Veiled in flesh the Godhead see, hail the incarnate Deity, pleased with man to dwell. "Hark the Herald Angels Sing," glory to the newborn King. Hail the heaven-born Prince of Peace, hail the Son of righteousness, light to all he brings, with healing in his wings. Let his glory by born man no more be raised the sons of Earth, born to give second birth. "Hark the Herald Angels Sing," glory to the newborn King. Come, Desire of Nations, come, fix in us Thy humble home, rise, O conquering seed, bruise the serpent's bruised head, now he faces the image in his place, take from above in his love. "Hark the Herald Angels Sing," glory to the newborn King. Amen. Amen. Stay standing. We are going to switch this song here. I want to see if it's in the right spot.
[Applause] One second. Nope, go this way. Hold on a second. Oh, I was off. There we go. All right, 202, "Amazing Grace," amen. 202. We're going to add the fifth verse, we always do. Praise God at the end, amen. "Amazing Grace," song 202, all five verses of "Amazing Grace," amen. Remember that fifth verse, praise God, song 202. Here we go. "Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me. I once was lost, but now am found, was blind, but now I see. 'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear, and grace my fears relieved. How precious did that grace appear, the hour I first believed. Through many dangers, toils, and snares, I have already come. 'Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far, and grace will lead me home. When we've been there ten thousand years, bright shining as the sun, we've no less days to sing God's praise, than when we'd first begun." Praise God. Praise God. Praise God. Praise God. Praise God. Praise God. Praise God. Praise God. Praise God. Praise God. Praise God. Praise God. Praise God. Amen. Amen. Praise God. Amen. Amen. Amen.
Let's let's pray. Our heavenly Father, we want to thank you. Thank you that we can give you praise. You're worthy. We're here to worship you, Lord. We sure do want to find you in this place, and we want to ask that you meet with us. You say where two or three are gathered, you're in the midst, Lord. I believe there's at least two. Amen. God, uh, we're here to worship you. We're here to meet with you. And God, I just pray that you speak to us in a mighty and glorious way. And God, I pray our attention be beyond what's being said, but attention also be on the fact that you're in our presence and the Holy Ghost will speak to us because he dwells within us. God, I pray that you'll just get the glory out of all this. We don't want any of it. Don't let us lift ourselves up, in Jesus Christ's precious name, amen. You can be seated. Be seated, amen. Hang on a second here. Go, Faith. Come, we get these. It's a special gift for Faith. Lots of money, amen. Hey, let me see what do we got going. We they had had us, we had U, um Caroline. Yes, that went, that went really well. Had people following around Carolyn with them, amen. The Lord just moving on that. They had a great time. They said it was probably the best time they had out Christmas Caroling. Caroline, yes. So that was a blessing. And uh, we had hot apple cider and chocolate and coffee if you wanted it. And we had uh cookies and cake and whatever else they had there, it was all good. So praise the chips, I think, and soda. So there was plenty, amen. So it was a blast, scene. So yeah. And and the one thing I get, I posted the Caroline online on social media. Be amazed at how fast it, it went viral. And it did, it guess all of a sudden went boom. And the mo, the common thing that was said by people was, "This is unusual, you don't hear killer carollers anymore," and said, "We would love to had carollers come by our place." So praise the Lord. See people, people still, they thrive for the old stuff. They, they, they, they, they hunger for it. And this whole world is trying to blurt it out and blot it out, amen. They're trying to, trying to get rid of it, trying to bury it, but no, just keep Christmas caroling, amen. Praise the Lord.
No matter what anybody says, uh, these Christians that are self-righteous, I mean that are uh very educated, they uh they say Christmas is pagan for us. It's a pagan holiday. You know what I said to a guy? It just came to me. The Lord just told me to say it to him. And I said, "You," and he goes, "So," because of the origin of where it come from, he says, "I'm not going to celebrate Christmas or Christ's birth." And I said, "Well, you come from an unusual origin also, huh? You were linked up and you were in alliance with uh the devil before you got saved." I said, "So should I have that same mentality and just not talk to you at all? I said because you come from a wicked origin, that's like I did." I said, "But guess what, Christ is the difference. And if Christ is in it, then it does make a difference." And uh, so I don't look at, when I, I, I ended up putting that on social media because after I did all that, said it to them and stuff, I put it on social media. The reason I do that because I want people to have a different perspective. And so I put it out there, and I'm not, I'm telling you everybody who read it did not put like on it, did not put okay or you know, they did not put crying or sad face or whatever, they didn't put angry face. They all put, they love it. Every one of them want to know why, cuz people are looking for an answer. Why can't? And then I posted uh uh, don't basically don't judge another man for his holy day. If he, if he calls it a day holy, then let it be, leave him alone. You know, if it's for the cause of Christ. And the thing is, I don't look, I don't worship Christmas trees, Santa Claus. I'm so totally against Santa Claus. I'm just telling you, I, I went into where the my kids work over at Chipotle. I talked to a kid, what's his name? Nick. Nick. Nick St. Nick. And Nick, he's a tall skinny kid. I mean, he weighs probably, you know, 120 pounds, probably six foot tall. I mean, I'm just telling you. And uh, and I told him to use his two brain cells and get busy around here. That's what I told him. And after I left, they went, he went to the kids and said, "Man, I think Santa Claus exists," after he saw me. I'm like, "Okay, okay. I got to get him back though." So praise the Lord. But they have problems with workers, these young workers, they just don't, they just don't work anymore. They like to stand around. They, they get as much rest time as they can while they're working, get paid. Yeah, get paid for that. That's right. But they had fun Christmas caroling. And the thing is is that's a blessing. So and then men's prayer breakfast was good too, amen. Praise the Lord. We had a good crowd of men that came. Uh, we got Christmas Sunday, next Sunday. The services will, will be a combined situation. We have morning service, no Sunday school, morning service food, bring food, and then afternoon service. And then on Christmas, which is a Wednesday, we are going to have the evening service. Yes, sir. So if you're not here, I don't know what you're thinking. Uh, the Christmas, I just told you Christmas is about Christ to me. It's not about presents, trees, staying home, eating food, watching football. And no, that, that has no, that has no place for me, as in the fact that that's where I am. My heart of worship, it's in Christ, amen. And so that's the way it should be. It should be for all of us. You call yourself a Christian. And then we have the Lord's Supper on the 29th in the, in the afternoon or in the evening service. And then we'll have um January 1, that is a Wednesday, and we're going to start at 4:00, go to 9:00. Going to have food, shotgun preaching. Then I'm going to preach, and I got, I got uh some preachers online that uh we're talking to still, the ones that I told you to pray for. I don't believe he going to work out, uh one of them, one of them backed out, said he didn't want to be the, he didn't wanted to take the pastor here, uh said he wasn't going to come to Arizona. But that's not what he said in the beginning, but so uh and then uh I, I there were some discrepancies about things he said. So uh I was glad he backed out because I was going to tell him he had to. So I was the day he called me, I that was the day I was going to call him, say, "Hey, you need to back out." Well, God took care of it already. So and uh so because I found several things he said that weren't true. And so and by the way, that's why a pastor should be finding the new pastor, not the congregation. You know, that this church found their second Pastor. You know what, do you know what their excuse was why they hired the guy or brought him in to be Pastor? Because he was well known across the country and he was a doctor. Oh, that was their only reason. They didn't say because he was sound in his doctrine, but because he had a doctorate, an honorary doctorate, plus he was well known, he knew some of the biggest preachers. And then he did most the most damage to our church as a pastor. And then God put him, after he uh got uh run away from here, those guys were smart enough to run him away, and uh he ended up in a cycle ward, and then he ended up dead. I mean, just about in that, that order. It was that order. And it wasn't shortly after he left this church that he ended up in the grave. So but that's what he gets because he was trying to steal the church, basically. He's trying to take the properties. That's what, that's what motivated me to UNC, unincorporate the church, uh because it got me focused on that because see his name was on the deed. And because his name was on the deed, he could do it legally and take all the properties. Well, the property at that time was worth about a million dollars. And so he wanted, he saw wealth. You know, that's what happened to the pastor that used to pastor Shadow Mountain, which isn't there anymore. He did the same thing, and he sold the church and went to Minnesota, and his wife was killed. So I wonder if I, I don't know if that's why she died, was killed, she killed, no car wreck. I don't know why, if that's why she died, because he did, did that. But I wouldn't be surprised, you're stealing God's money because he took the money and ran, and a lot of people got damaged by it. So that ain't happening here. I walk away. I just say, "Hey, you guys keep everything, take it all. Like I don't want none of it. It belongs to God. You guys keep it." So and uh even Brother Dave says, "What are you taking with you?" I said, "Everything. No, no," I said, "Stuff that belongs to God stays, what belongs to me goes," amen. Praise the Lord. So which most of the stuff you see in here belongs to God. Hey, ain't that funny? So even the people, except I'm taking my family, my family's going with me. So but uh no, all this stuff belongs, this was bought for the church. We bought it for the church. We, we look, can you imagine me taking the sign out front? I want this sign. And you know what, when I pastored in Washington, when I pastored in Washington, I had a really nice sign made for our church, really nice. And we didn't, we couldn't post it in the ground, they wouldn't let you, but you could hang it on the building. So on the corner of our building where you can see it from like three different directions was our sign. It was about as big as this. And someone stole
[Laughter] And I'm like, "Where did our sign go?" They stole the sign. And I found out later it was Christians. Christians. Why? And Christians still our sign, right? I don't get it. So I'm like, no, they, they profess to be sa, born again. I knew what church they went to, which was an independent Baptist Church. Don't get it. Leave the sign alone, it's not yours. It don't belong to you. Keep your hands out of it. Anything in this building that don't belong to you, even if it belongs to someone else that's just a member of the church here, leave it alone. It don't belong to you. You don't go in my truck and start taking my stuff out of my truck. I, I'll shoot you. That's stealing. That's thie, thievery. Like that, like I might get a trunk monkey. You ever see a trunk monkey? You ever see that? Actually Ford and them put out a commercial called a trunk monkey. And uh this uh this guy, this guy's uh road rage, and he's got this guy blocked off, and he's beating on his window, "Open up the door, I'm gonna beat you up." And so he pushes a trunk monkey button, and the monkey gets out of the trunk, and all of a sudden you see the guy go down, the monkey's got a club in his head, he knocked him out. And then another time, the boy and girl are going out on a date, and they're in the vehicle, and the boy wants to kiss a girl, and all of a sudden you hear, and there's the monkey in the back seat with a shotgun. And they cut, they called it the, the uh with chaperone monkey. But they do a whole series of commercials like that with a monkey, and it's hilarious. It's fun. They even got one for the cops. They got, it's called The, it's called the bribery monkey. And they got the girl, the got stopped, "Go, can't we just not take this ticket?" She, he goes, "Give me your license and your registration," and all of a sudden she pushes the Trunk Monkey button, the monkey comes out with a handful of cash, handful of, looks at him, goes like this. Next thing you know, the, the cop, the monkey's in the back of the cop car.
[Laughter] But this is the commercial, I think it was Ford and uh Chevy or GMC maybe did it, and someone, another, another car company, they did it all together. It was hilarious. So can you imagine having a trunk monkey? You'd have to feed it. You know what? Is today, today's the 15th? 15th. Eight days is Elijah's birthday. He'll be 17. Over here, over there. Yep. You can't look back, brother. Sorry, can't look back. And then Brother Dave, he's going to be years old, and uh he's going to be in the 14 days, two weeks, two weeks. He's over, he'll overdale way long ago, still kicking. Hey, you know you didn't kick the bucket. So praise the Lord. Yes. Oh yeah. But, but our singing didn't pass. That's right. He wasn't, you weren't here, neither was Diego. Oh, that's too bad. I wish you happy birthday. So, so but so we got to sing. Okay, well we can sing loud, we can sing long, we can sing, let's sing really loud. Yeah, let's go ahead, sing for them. Let's do it now. She ain't getting her way on this. I told her, I said, "When you, you, we're singing." Go ahead. "Happy birthday to you," woohoo. "Happy birthday to you," woohoo. "Happy birth, God bless you," woohoo. "Happy birthday to you." How you're 16 now, Diego? 17. Whoa, man. I remember when you were 16 and 15. Man, I remember when you were shorter than me. He's tall, he's a giant. So praise the Lord. And I'm not going to say anything about Miss Rowena's age. So, so all righty, let's take up the building fund for the kids. The kids will take this up. I'm sorry, guys. I don't have any. This is in case they want to hold me up. Give me oil in my lamp, keep me burning, burning, burning me in
[Music] My, on, go find it, go find some, go find some, hurry, hurry, hurry.
[Music] Hsing, singing.
[Music] My heart, heart, faite part of the seon, 10 days till
[Music] Christmas, Sana, sing, sing to the King of Kings, sing. You going to go and ask, but if they say no, it's no.
[Music] Of
[Music] Amen. Break. Give me love in my heart, keep me serving, serving, serving. Give me love in my heart. I, in heart, keeping skin bones. Jun, they used to be so chubby. They used to be chubby, skinny as real. And they eat like horses, though. Well, get ready to get sick, everybody. Oh no, the temperature is going to go up to about 80 degrees, and then it's going to drop down middle of this week, and then it's going to drop down to where it's going to barely make 60. That's always good for breeding sickness, right? Right before Christmas, day before Christmas, Christmas Eve. It's, do they do it on purpose or God does it on
[Music] Purpose? Yeah, but the thing is, thing is they can seed clouds, they can uh they can uh try to change the weather, but God still got his hand on things, right? You listen today, you'll hear in the message, God's hand on things. Yes. A what? Oh, oh yeah. I know they said, they said the bird flu, uh chickens carry the bird flu, kill your chickens, kill your backyard chickens, they got the bird flu. Yeah, they're just trying to get rid of people having their own food. That's what it is. So you buy it, so you can be filled with steroid uh um chemical infested meat that they have. You ever see, you ever see a chicken that they, they, you know, they have those chickens that are within eight weeks are mature enough to kill and eat within each week from, from hatching to, wow. Yeah. And they can't even stand on their own feet. They get so heavy, they can't stand up. You know that's when you know they're ready to kill. And we actually had some of those at one time. And that's, they are, they're horrible. It's horrible to watch them, cuz they, they're only for food. And that's what they are. But it's like, what a horrible existence. You know, it's like Sumo wrestlers, seriously. Sumo wrestlers in Japan, they only their life expectancy is only 35 years because they're, they're raised to fight and for sport in Japan. And uh and they're just, they get them, they eat and eat and eat. That's all they do is eat. And uh they just eat until they're dead. And uh they just get, they get real huge, you know, 4, 500 lb. And then they go out in a mat and wrestle in, know, in a loin cloth or, you know, in a, in no, in a, in a a dish towel. That's what I, dish towel. That's what it looks like. And uh and all you have to do, you don't have to pin anybody, you don't have to knock anyone down, you just push them out of a circle. You just bump bellies and all. But that's what they do for, that's what they do for their life. They're just big chickens. It, that's all they do. I'm like, well, I would, I'd hate to live my life like that, you know. But they become heroes in Japan, heroes. Then that, that's uh that's really giving your life for fame and fortune because they make, they get rich. Well, they don't, they don't retire, bro. They die. Yeah, they die. They die doing that. That's, that's horrible. Well, that's like a lot of the, that's happening in our country with football, uh with, with the NFL and stuff. So cuz a lot of these guys are dying young because they get all shot up with all the steroids and everything and take all this medication so they can be stronger and bigger than the next guy. And uh yeah, and they're dying. Yeah. I mean, one that bothered me probably most was Reggie uh White from the Green Bay Packers. He was only what, 42 when he died? Or L oo, he was about 40 years old when he died because they pumped up with steroids and and you know, so they can be bigger and and and stronger than the next guy so they can make the millions of dollars in a short period of time. What's the difference between that and sumo wrestlers, really? So uh the guys who live longest are the guys who take care of themselves. Like you're going to see um uh Brady, Tom Brady, live a long because he, he's a health, he's a health fanatic. I mean, he don't drink, put soda in his body, he don't put all sugar in his body, he, he just doesn't. And you can tell, you look at him, he's healthy looking. And what is he, late 40s now? Trump. Yeah, like Donald Trump. Yeah, Donald Trump don't drink uh drink alcohol, don't drink coffee, stays away from all this junk. And uh so even though he don't always look like it, but but uh thing is he going, he GNA live longer than uh some of these guys. So yes, sir. Oh yeah. No, the the day before he was, yeah, yeah. Keep myself busy. He was dancing the day before, day before he, the day before he turned 99, he was dancing. I mean, he's kicking up his heels and everything, jumping around dancing, you know, just like he did on with Disney. He was a Disney icon back in the day, in the 60s. And so yeah. Well, My Fair Lady, he did too. Not My Fair Lady, he did a um uh what's the one where you come down the chimney and all that? Stu, Mary Poppins. That's Mary Poppins. He was a chimney sweep. Yes, Mary Poppins. So yeah. So he was, he was an icon to the Hollywood for Disney and stuff. So but the guy, I'm, I hope he got saved, you know. I hope he got saved or get saved, you know. Still not too late, he's still breathing, he's still dancing, amen. So you never know. Yeah, yeah. He looks still like Dick Van Dyke, but he just got less flesh on him because he's really skinny. I watched him dance, man. I said, "Man, that guy, I hope I can dance at 99 if I live that long." Probably won't live that long. And uh but I hopefully I can get up and move around like that. So I can't hardly move like that now. It's horrible. So well, let's take an offering, huh? Let's do that. Brother Robert, pray for the offering, then we'll have some singing, amen. Our gracious Heavenly Father, your presence, God, pray, Lord, our hearts, God would be right with you today. God, I pray, Lord, if we have anyd against you, Lord, pray, God, that right, God, so we hear, Father, your word today. I pray, God, God, that people, Lord, God, trust you, Lord. I know times, God, may get tough, God, but Lord, we still have a God that provide and will provide if we just believe and trust and have faith in him, not ourselves, in Christ's name, amen. Amen. As the deer pants for the water, so my soul longeth after thee. You alone are my heart's desire, and I long to worship thee. You alone are my strength, my shield, to you alone will my spirit yield. You alone are my heart's desire, and I long to worship thee. You're my friend and you are my brother, even though you are my King. I love you more than any, any other, so much more than anything. You alone are my strength, my shield, to you alone will my spirit yield. You alone are my heart's desire, and I long to worship thee. I want you more than gold or silver, only you can satisfy. You alone are the true joy giver and the apple of my eye. You alone are my strength, my shield, to you alone will my spirit yield. You alone are my heart's desire, and I long to worship thee. And I long to worship thee. Cusis you see this or not, she didn't have very to give. You would recall a widow without very much, give only two, that's all. But a story came down through the ages how she gave more than she could afford. She didn't have very much to give, but she gave it all to the Lord. Their abundance, some sacrificially we must give, heart of thanks for the blessings we receive. We cast our bread upon the water, watch our blessings come. We may not have very much to give, we give it all to the Lord. He didn't have very much to give, a boy with two fish and some bread. He didn't have very much to give, but with it so many were fed. Took what was offered and then he made a miracle as his reward. He didn't have very much to give, but he gave it all to the. Some give up their abundance, some sacrificially we must give, with a heart of thanks for the blessings we receive. We cast our bread upon the water, watch our blessings come. We may not have very much to give, we give it all to the Lord. We may not have very much to give, but we gave it all to the Lord. The Lord. Amen. Amen. Amen.
Open up your Bible, The Book of Proverbs. Book of Proverbs. M, it's a good song. Book of Proverbs. We're in chapter 14 in the Book of Proverbs. Have you ever noticed that sometimes you don't see the spiritual application of things in life? You ever, you know, ever notice that sometimes it goes by till someone tells you that you saw a spiritual application or you saw the blessing of the Lord, the hand of the Lord in your, in your life? Well, that's what this circumstance is going to be about. It's going to be right before your very eyes, amen. Let's turn over to verse 28 in chapter 14, one verse. "In the multitude of people is the King's honor, but in the want of people is the destruction of the prince." Read it again. "In the multitude of people is the King's honor, but in the want of people is the destruction of the prince." Our heavenly Father, help us to understand, Lord, what we're going to hear, what we read, Lord. I pray that you'll get glory out of all this, for you deserve it all. Going to need the Holy Spirit to work on this, work in the hearts of men and women in here and children. And God, I need power from on high to speak uh in our weak state with this flesh. We always need your power, no matter how much we think we don't, because we have strength in our flesh. God, help us to humble ourselves before you so we can hear with our ears and our see with our eyes. We'll understand in our hearts. And God, that we'll be able to apply these things and grow and become a better Christian, better servant for the Lord Jesus Christ, in your precious and holy name, in Jesus' name, amen. You can be seated. "In the multitude of people is the King's honor, but in the want of people is the destruction of the prince." Now, every time I've read this verse, I didn't quite understand it, uh what this proverb was talking about. But one day at 3:30 in the morning, I was reading my Bible, and the Lord revealed this to me, what it really meant. See, we're living in a, we're living this verse right now, in our very, in this very days, and our eyes should see it, and our ears should hear it. But uh we see in this verse, we have two authorities. One authority here is a king, huh? The king, listen, because you got to get this if you're going to get the verse. The king is the highest authority of the land. No one higher than him. He has all other authorities under him. He's a pinnacle of authority. He's a pinnacle of power. And all other authorities go under him. He has power no other authority can demonstrate. All their authorities under him will demonstrate according to his laws that he will set up. And that's the way a king works. In Romans chapter 13:1 on, "Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers, for there is no power but of God." Did you get that? Yes. "The powers that be are ordained of God." That means all power you see on this Earth comes from God. That's right, amen. And he has the authority over all power. By the way, if you would take this seriously and believe it, you'll be amazed at how much more at ease and peace you'll be with all that goes on around you, knowing that God can strip them of their power at any time, that God can knock their feet out from under them if they do wrong. What does the Bible say in 1 Timothy 6:15? "Which in his times he shall show who is the blessed and only potentate, the King of Kings and the Lord of lords." What does that mean? That means the K, Jesus Christ is the King of all Kings, the Lord of all Lords. In fact, Revelation it says he's going to come back, and on his thigh, his vesture is going to be written in blood, "The King of Kings and Lord of Lords," huh? What's he saying? "I got power, and you, I, you got power only because of me. I'm Capital King and capital Lord. You're small king and small Lord. I have the power," amen. That's what he's going to say to us. Look, we don't have power unless it's given to us. That's right. For me to preach, I got to get power from him. That's right. I have very power without him. And the power that's availed me in the times that I, I, I do things is only coming from him, amen. And so I need to give him all the glory. Like when they went out uh Christmas Caroling, and people wanted to follow them, and people were uh blessed, it wasn't the people who uh that did it, it was God in his power that did it. So you don't take the glory from God, you give him the glory because he's the King of the land, huh? He's the pinnacle of power. James was talking about that in Sunday school. You said, "How do you know?" You weren't even in here. I always listen, amen. Always. And the thing is, he's talking about the power. And Satan doesn't have the power like God does. That's right, huh? He gets power from the same place we get power from. He's a created being, like we're a created being. Satan is, right? God always has been. He's always had the power. That's right. He's always been the, the marvelous, the wonderful, the, hey, he's been the counselor, hey, he's always been God Almighty, amen. And we're just created beings that came into existence one day. And our in our men's prayer breakfast, I looked around and I said this to the men. I said, "I in this room am the oldest one on the face of the Earth uh in that room at that time, right, huh?" But that don't make any difference really, it don't, huh? But thing is, we came into existence one day. I said this to the guys, I said, "I was here on Earth before you were. Have you ever thought about that? I'm on Earth here before you are." Well, we, we mark people's life by age, by days, by years. As I, I'm 67, moving on to 68. Look at anybody younger than me, I was here before you were. I've seen things you haven't seen, right, huh? I still, I still remember uh not having computers. The Air Force where I lived uh they got a computer in 1968 for their base. Well, and and the computer was bigger than this room now, which you can hold in your hand, huh? Was bigger than this room. I, you say, "How do you know?" I saw it. We went on a tour there one time, and they showed it to us. And man, it was like prehistoric now, like a dinosaur. When I went to Bible College in the early 80s, they had the same kind of computer. They had to take a whole room for their computer. Now you just get a desk, you got a computer, you can put a computer on it. We've seen things that you guys haven't seen, the world, what the world was like without all this technology, right, huh? We saw the power of God, yeah, that this, that this world hasn't seen. I'm not joking. I remember when the, the outpouring of the Spirit back in the late 70s, early 80s in America, people were get, people were fallen to get saved. I was one of them. A lot of my friend, a lot of my friends that I grew up with got saved. The outpouring of the Holy Ghost. Some of them became preachers. They're preachers today, huh? Some are with
Years and that Prince of power of the air is going to be locked up. Amen. So with this in mind, we see that this Prince, it said, says, "But in want of people is the destruction of the prince." You got the king who is honored. He's honored. The king is honored. Why? How's he honored? By the multitude of the people. What happened to the prince, huh? But in the want of people is the destruction of the prince. He doesn't have the following like the King. By the way, people loved the King, King David. They didn't love Absalom. Absalom died, but he was a prince, huh? He died. Why? Rebellion. Wouldn't listen to the law, wouldn't listen to the rules, wouldn't listen to what was right. He wanted to do it his way. They had a McDonald's back then and a Burger King. Wanted it his way, and he got it his way. Guess what? He died. Destruction. That's what it says. "But in want of people is destruction of the prince."
Now listen, we have had this happen in America, huh? We've had the destruction of the prince. It's a picture of our president now, Joseph Biden, huh? He took—they took the kingship, so to say, the authority in our country, huh? But he's just a prince. He doesn't have the following. He wants to sit on the King's throne, huh? He wants to do what Satan did, but he couldn't rise above being a prince. Oh, they can give it to him. He could steal it. Hey, they can manipulate people, they can cheat, they can do whatever and put him on the throne. But guess what? That don't work. God knows what happened. Don't matter what we know; it's what he knows, and he knows what happened, and he doesn't—this President Joseph Biden, he can't wield the power as president, huh? Not like he should. He can wield a bunch of things. He can make all kinds of executive orders. He can try to change laws. He can go against the law, and he has, but he's not wielding the power like a king. He's wielding it like a servant, a slave. He doesn't have the will of the people. I'm going somewhere, just hanging there. He doesn't wield the power as a president, in concern. He's not the King of Kings. He's—uh—only the one that can put him in the position that he's in is God, the King, 'cause he's King of Kings. He doesn't have the people on his side. Why do you think Kamala Harris lost so miserably? Didn't have the people. She didn't fit the bill for God. Hey, she went contrary to God's word. She fit into this passage of scripture. See, she was a loose cannon, so to say. But her and Biden are in want of people.
Now listen carefully. This is what happens to pastors. They want people and they don't get them, and then they become tyrants over the people of God. In Proverbs 14:28, "In the multitude of people is the King's honor, but in the want of people is the destruction of the prince." That's the text verse. But listen to Proverbs 22:16: "He that oppresses the poor to increase his riches," did you hear me? How rich was Joseph Biden when he got into office, huh? He probably had as much money as you and I do, huh? "So that he oppresses the poor, increases riches, and he that giveth to the rich shall surely come to want," huh? So here he is. He takes money from China. This is our president, Prince President, takes money from China. You say, "Why you going this way?" Because this fits in for today's society. Same thing with Kamala Harris. But they take and they take from China; they give to more rich people. Hey, his son, Hunter Biden, a millionaire, gives money to the big guy, huh? Gives to his brother, James, huh? And they make these—all these folks rich off of what? Off the taxpayers, off the poor, right? Off the—off the people who are their subjects. And that's how they see them, by the way, even though we have a republic, a constitutional republic. They are supposed to be subject to us, but that's not how it's working out. That's why they can't stand Trump, because he's given the power back to America, the American people. They can't stand it, huh? But here it is. So this is what he did. So he presses the poor; increases riches; and he gives what those riches he gets—he gives to other people, makes them rich. That's what's happened. Nancy Pelosi, she's worth over $100 million. She's only been a representative in the H—the House. She only gets like just over $200,000. How does she become a 100 millionaire? H—I'm just telling you. You say, "Are those facts?" Those are facts. She's a 100 millionaire. How'd she do that? You tell me. She didn't spend her money that she saved every dime that she got. But maybe she did save every dime she got, and she spent our money. You know what happened to Joseph Biden and the Democratic party and Kamala Harris? They saw that they were failing by the results of their rallies, huh? I had more people at my Thanksgiving dinner than they had at their rallies. Amen. My—my—my family, when they have Christmas—when we lived up in Washington, they have Christmas; we had 100—about 100 people show up. We had more people at our Christmases than they had at their rallies, huh? They—he went to Detroit to speak to cars, not to people, huh? So he's lacking people, huh? Hey, they—he goes home to his home city to speak, and he couldn't draw a family of cockroaches, huh? Seriously. Want to draw a family of cockroaches? Come to our place. Uhuh. He came to—he came to this conclusion that people don't want him, so he's got to do something else. Exactly what an evil Prince will do in the primaries. He didn't even take second. He didn't take first or second in the primaries the first time when he was running against Trump. He didn't take it. He didn't have people wanting him. Even the Democratic party didn't want him, huh? It's—he had a dismal showing. Kamala Harris was worse. She only got like 1% of the vote. I'm not joking. When—when they said she was going to be vice president, I said, "Why?" She just wasn't even popular. No one wanted her. They were princes that had no following. Nobody wanted them.
Now listen, we're going somewhere. Stay in here, huh? Huh? The idea of campaigning was to avoid the public. That was his idea of campaigning during the first—his turn for run against Trump the first time. This Prince, Biden, accepted the road to destruction in return for the throne of the highest position in the land. Did you hear me? The plan may have been in progress before Biden was even chosen for Satan's agenda. Biden, somewhere along the line, had to agree with his corrupt way of getting the White House, right? Without the consent of the people, Biden moved in without approval of the American people. Biden is still in want of people; still is. He wants the following. You say, "Why?" 'Cause he's at the top of his game, huh? As in the fact of his position, he surrounds himself with spiritual wickedness in high places, and eventually his soul is going to be required of him. He will find himself burning in the Lake of Fire. That's—that's his destination. That is where he's going. You know what? Let's—let's—let's look at Trump now for a second because we're talking about—we're talking about the king and the prince. Now Trump's already been in the position of President, and he's now in the position of president again. The first time in—I don't know how many years it's been since the president won and then didn't win the next election but won the election after that. Only one other president did that, but he did it. Listen to what God says in John 12:31: "How is the judgment of this world now? Shall the prince of this world be cast out?" Job 1:12: "And the Lord said unto Satan, 'Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand.'" So Satan went forth from the presence of the Lord. Now listen, listen to what he said: "All that he has is in thy power." Now why did God say that? Because he just commissioned power on Satan. Now listen to what he says: "Only upon himself put not forth thine hand." What did he do? He withdrew part of that power. Said, "You can touch everything he owns, but you cannot touch Job." He had power just to touch what God told him he could have, and God withheld power from things that he wanted to hold—get hold of. See, that is the prince of this world; that is the—that is the Ministers of Satan. Did you hear me? The ministry of the Antichrist. They can't do anything unless God allows them to. God gives them power, and I'm—and I guarantee Satan is petitioning even now for his power so he could touch the Believers, the church, hey, others that are serving God, the ones that are most powerful in God's Ministry. Satan is going to be the accuser before God, asking for power so he could destroy. What happened when President Trump became president, huh? He represents the king of the highest office in the land. He can wield power that no one else in political office can. He listens to the first part of the verse again. Now listen to the first part of the verse again: "In the multitude of people is the King's honor." Donald Trump has had a great following, and he has—why is that?—and has been honored by the people of the USA. He got—he had great rallies with tens of thousands of tens of thousands of people showing up. Caravan 90 miles long. The majority of the people of our land believe in our president, in President Trump, and what he is doing and is going to do, by the way. Did you hear what happened? Hamas, they're already conceding to Donald Trump, and he hasn't even become president yet. They're begging him not to hurt them. "Please don't hurt us. We know you'll do it because he says he's going to." He said, "Unless you let—by January 20th," he said, "If we don't have the release of all those captives," he says, "We are coming after you." You know what they did? They believed him. Want to know why? He's got—he's got not just his allies on his side; he's got the enemy who believe him and said, "Man, this guy's got something. Yeah, and I don't understand why people don't want Donald Trump," right? But—and that's not what this—this isn't all about political because we're going somewhere still. The majority of the people—People of Our Land believe in Trump. They believe he is for the American people. They believe he doesn't just represent them, but that he fights against the evil forces that are trying to put the people into bondage and strip our Liberty and freedom from us, huh? Our president is trying to preserve our Liberty, which our founding fathers were willing to die for. The people of America saw a man get into the trenches and was willing to take a bullet for us and—and—and destroy—or tried to destroy the establishment of the swamp at any cost. We see him as a Moses, and the people weren't ashamed of it. Amen. They're not ashamed. You know what's coming out of the mouths of a lot of people? "We're not ashamed to mention Donald Trump now, but we were before." Why? Because of the opposition. Well, you're scared of the opposition. Who cares about what they think, huh? You ought to stand up for them. That's why—that's why I appreciate someone like Elon Musk, huh? He was a staunch Democrat. He voted for Biden, and he turned—he turned sides. Yeah, "I'm for Trump now. Why? 'Cause he's the best for our country," huh? The politician—another politician just came over to the Republican side just a couple days ago, well-known politician. He's switching sides. Why? Because they see something better, right? They want to be in the crowd of the people who are following the king, huh? The American people are willing to hold up the hands of our leader with prayer and word and action. The American people wanted to honor our president, and we showed it by our support, just being present when he came out to speak publicly. On the other hand, you have a prince that doesn't have his kind of honor, huh? So here you got Satan, his crowd: Biden, Pelosi, Schumer, Kamala Harris, and that's where—that's where they're standing right now, huh? They don't have the honor. What do they have? They're on the road to destruction. Did you read that verse again? Someone read that verse out loud to me. Maybe it'll—you'll catch on when you read it. Destruction, destruction, destruction. Look at—they want people, but they can't get them. A lot of the people in America's eyes have been opened, even though they're not born again. Their eyes have got open to what's happening, and hopefully they'll come to Christ so their eyes will stay open. That's the only way the eyes are going to stay open. And until they receive the true King, Jesus Christ, they can't stay open forever without him. My eyes got open in 1982. Amen. Check this out. Ronald Reagan was a president. I didn't like him. I didn't even vote for him. I didn't—I thought the guy was off his rocker, and I didn't like the fact that he was a Hollywood movie star. All these things, you know, all the things that mean nothing, you know, because that's what they teach you on the left. "Oh, he's got black hair; don't vote for him," huh? It's goofy. That's the things they do, and you vote for them for stupid re—vote—vote for people for stupid reasons or don't vote for stupid reasons. My eyes got open. I saw this was the man we needed for our country. These other guys were just pulling our chain. They were destroying our nation. So I saw that Donald—not Donald Trump, but Ronald Reagan was the man. I voted for him the second time I'd gotten saved. I was grieved when he got shot. Hey, I was saved when the Pope got shot, and I grieved that he got shot. Seriously. He got shot right after Ronald Reagan. It was like boom boom. What's going on here again? This looks like the 60s. Guy's getting shot, huh? People not liking them. People want to destroy them. The—the wickedness, the evil, the wickedness in high places wants to get rid of people. They failed then, too. God wouldn't let them die. King can't die unless God lets the King die. So where does his want get him? The left, the wicked, he will then be—be in want of relief from the torments of hell. He'll be in want of eternal life. He'll be in want of help for all those who he had led astray. You say, "How do you know?" Read it in the Bible, in Luke, when it talks about the rich man. He—he—he cried out for his brother's house. "Lord, I've led him astray. Lord, go and save them." He cried out in want of thirst. He cried out in want and torment. Hey, he wanted Lazarus to come to him and put his finger in water and put it on his tongue to give him some kind of relief. See, we're not taking this seriously. We see a man; we see a politician; we see a Democratic party. We're not taking it seriously that those folks are going to split hell wide open, and they're going to cry out in want. Yeah. Y—Biden must be appointed to the throne by the King, and the King is the Lord Jesus Christ, the Savior. In Daniel 2:21, listen to what Daniel says about this: "And he changed the times and the seasons; he removed kings and set up kings; he giveth wisdom unto the wise and knowledge to them that know understanding," huh? In Psalm 75:7, the psalmist says, "But God is the judge; he put it down one and set up another," huh? God's the one that—that puts up authorities in kingdoms and—and establishes nations. Want to know why they want us to have the New World Order? Get rid of God's establishment, right? You're right there. There'll be no borders. That's why they don't want America to have borders, huh? England already has that problem: no borders, huh? And it's a mess. Do—do you know that before—London became a huge Muslim population because of no borders? I called somebody and asked them—someone I knew that was there. I said, "Is it—London—is it predominantly Muslim now?" And they said, "No, I don't think so." Well, I just heard on the news just recently, 40% of the population in London now is Muslim. Guess what? When—when a—when a city, a state, a nation becomes 40% or more Muslim, the Muslims take over. They're like a mob, and no one's going to stop them. They're taking over our politics. You know what it is? There's princes in want of following. If you don't follow me, what do they do? Kill you. They'll kill everybody until they only have followers, right? Do you know what—you know what happened? And I don't—I don't know if I'm getting ahead of myself, behind myself. I think I got a—behind myself on this, but do you know that the Pharisees, they wanted to kill Jesus? Why? Because of his following. They said—by envy, they put him on the cross. They wanted to kill him, get rid of him. Why? Because there's too many people that follow him. He's going to set up a kingdom. Hey, he'll become a king. He already says he's King of the Jews, huh? "We don't want him King of the Jews. Let's kill him and anybody who follows him." What—you know what Paul's authority was given to him? Do you know what it was? It said that he is to kill anybody who—who proclaims Jesus Christ. H—the one that everybody was following. And that's what his paperwork said, and that's what he went to go do: take everybody who proclaimed Christ. And God stopped. And why did Christ say, "Why do thou kick against the pricks? Why do thou persecute me?" Paul—Saul—he goes, "Who are you?" He goes, "I'm Jesus Christ. It's written on your paperwork, huh? You got on your paperwork you plan on persecuting everybody who follows me. You're taking away my followers." God ended that in an awesome fashion. Amen. Saul gets off the ground, and he's like, "Where am I at?" Blind. Bartimaeus. He—he healed the blindness of some and gave others blindness, and both of them came about to do something good. Amen. Amen. Amen. But I think back about David and his son, Adonijah, who—he wanted to try to take the throne, and he did. He proclaimed himself king of Israel when David was about to die. David hadn't been dead yet. It's like what happens in families, you know. Mom and dad's not dead yet. The family—the family—the siblings come in, and they start taking all the—all the things that they want to inherit. Mom didn't give it to him; dad didn't give it to them, but they take it anyway. That's what Adonijah does. Did he—King didn't give him the throne; he just took it. And so he decides to sit on the throne. He finds some people who agree with him to put him on the throne, right? So what happens? Nathan comes to David and says, "Hey, you know what? Something's wrong here. You didn't tell me that, and I'm just going to be king." David said, "What are you talking about?" He said, "Adonijah just proclaimed to be king of Israel." The man, with David's last strength and breath, he says, "That ain't happening. Says, 'Call my son Solomon; bring him here.'" So he gets all the—all the people that weren't for Adonijah, and he brought him in and he said, "This is the king," and had him anointed king right then. He's the one I'm giving the throne to, not Adonijah, even though he's sitting on it already. I'll strip him of that title. He was only a prince. And so Solomon got put on there, and David in his last breath says, "Kill Adonijah if he does wrong. Kill your brother." What—what's he saying? Kill the prince. Want to know why? Because David knew the heart of his son. He knew that prince was wicked and evil, and he's going to fulfill scriptures in Proverbs chapter 14:28, y—huh? Now listen, I know that hadn't been written yet, but Solomon knew when God gave it to him. Now listen, what it say, huh? He—the—the king intercedes, huh? The king intercedes for—for—for Solomon. He uses the real man of God to do it. Nathan—Nathan's the one who said to David, "Thou art the man. You're the guilty one," David. He—that guy's brave. He could have been killed by David. David could—if he hadn't repented, and he got angry and prideful, he could have said, "Nathan, take him away. Put him in the dungeon. Kill—take his head tomorrow. Kill him." Could have done that. But—I guess I'm going to tell you what's going to happen if he did that. Only one step more would David have taken before God had taken his life, huh? He's—he's—he's blessed of God to have repented and let Nathan live, and God gave him his life. And Adonijah, by the way, is the last son that God took because of David's sin. And David—Adonijah did die in Second—in First Kings chapter 2. Solomon says, "Adonijah shall die tonight. He will die," and he did, y. He wasn't lying, y. And Solomon, a representation of God, and God will take people who try to take the throne that they're not—they don't belong on. Look it. Satan, who's a prince of power of there, going to sit on the throne in the Middle East, in Israel, a—in Jerusalem, in the temple of God. He's going to sit there for seven years, and God says, "Enough's enough." Amen. Thank you, Lord. Strip him of his authority on the throne where Jesus Christ is supposed to be sitting, the true King. It's going to happen. Say, "What's this all about?" Exactly that. It's about—it's all opening—it's all unfolding before our eyes. We're seeing pictures of the last days, the end times, and what's happening around us. And I'm going to tell you something. We—we should not be surprised because we're Believers in Jesus Christ. We should not be surprised. We shouldn't go, "Wow, I could have had a V8. I didn't know this, huh? What happened here? How come things are happening this way?" We get so down in the heart. We get so scared. Why you get scared? Don't be afraid of anybody who breathes the same air you do. No reason to be afraid of them. That's right. You fear God and him alone. Amen. The prince who tried to sit on—on the throne without the king's permission was destroyed. "Want of people is the destruction of the prince." I like it here. I'm going to read it to you about Adonijah, what Solomon said: "Then King Solomon sware by the Lord, saying, 'God do this to me and more also if Adonijah have not spoken this word against his own life. Now therefore, as the Lord liveth, which hath established me and set me on the throne of David my father,'" you see who he gave credit to, "and who has made me an house as he promised, Adonijah shall be put to death this day." Yeah, and he was. By the way, it was the same day Joab ended up dying. Joab ran into the temple and held onto the horns of the altar, and they told Solomon where he was at. He says, "Go in there and kill him." "I can't do it in the temple." So they drug him out and killed him. Amen. Yeah, "Don't kill him in the house of God. Don't shed the blood of Joab in the house—house of God. He's an unclean beast. Only the—only the clean ones get slaughtered in the house of God." So he brought them out, and they killed him. Why? Trying to do it their way. Christian, every time you try to do your way, you just step into the pathway of destruction, right? Why would you want to do that? Look it. Don't try to get it your way; have it God's way. Look, we—we're searching for a pastor for this church, and guess what? We're trying to find it God's way. I don't want to do it my way. Hey, I thought the first guy that we talked to was the guy, and God—God started showing me some things, and next thing you know, God says he isn't the guy. And so when I was going to call him and tell him he isn't the guy, he calls me and say, "I'm not the guy." I guess we're in agreement. Amen. No hard words, no bad feelings, no nothing. He goes on his way; we go on our way. Amen. So his next step was coming here. Amen. Here's some—here's three things I want you to hear in conclusion of this whole thing: You don't give up hope. You don't give—because Jesus Christ is the hope of glory. Amen. You don't give up hope, no matter how bad it seems to get, no matter how bad things seem to happen and fall apart in your life. Don't give up hope. He's still there. He's still there. I mean, you'll get beside yourself sometimes. You'll get all worried about things, and you get all—because you're human. You got the old flesh that likes to get in his way, huh? Sometimes—well, I tell people, when you get out of bed, you're not spiritual. Don't get out of bed saying, "Well, bless God, man. I had a good spiritual sleep, man. I was praying all night while I was sleeping." No, you weren't. You're resting the flesh, and you wake up and your flesh is rested. You get up—well, when you get my age, it's not rested so much, but—uh—you get up and your flesh is evident, and you got to say, "Lord, you know what? The—the old thing is, Lord, please help me say the right thing today, and Lord, please help me eat the right things, and please help me get along with people, and please help me not think bad things because I'm about ready to roll out of bed," you know? You got—you got to go that direction 'cause the old flesh—it takes—takes every opportunity it can to cause you to stumble. Here's the second thing I want you to know: God is still on the throne, and he makes choices we don't always understand, right? We don't understand why he said, "Kill Adonijah." We don't always understand that. We don't understand when he said to King Saul, "Kill all the Amalekite men, women, and children. K—kill the king. Kill all the animals." We don't always understand that. And you know what? People want to do—"Oh, he's a bad God." Not a bad God. He's a righteous God. We don't always understand why he does things he does, but we trust what he does is right. That's faith. Yep. And the last thing is: You can guarantee that every decision God makes is right, fitting into God's will for the people. Did you hear me? Yes, sir. You can be guaranteed. You can put a guarantee label on what God does that it's right. Amen. You got to put—put these in your mind and your heart because when it happens, you got to say, "Well, God's right." You know, when you stand before God at the judgment seat of Christ, and you're going to say, "Hey, you blew it big time," or you didn't—you messed up right here, and look, you're going to lose the rewards. You're going to have to say—I can guarantee you're right. There's a guarantee on what God says is right. This word is right. I had a lady today. I told—I said—I said—"Uh—the King James Bible is true." They quoted a verse that was—I read it, and I said, "Well, it kind of sounds close to King James," so I pulled out the King James and looked at it, and I said, "No, it's not King James. It changes doctrine. It changed doctrine." And so I said that, and you know what this lady said to me? This is on a post I posted. She—she said to me, she says, "Well, you're—you're hauling around in the weeds, huh? You're—you're not on the main subject, which is Jesus Christ and salvation." And I said, "Really?" I said, "So talking about the King James Bible being the word of God, you know, the incorruptible seed that we're saved by," amen. I said, "That is dragging around in the weeds." And I—and I said I made a statement to her. I said, "You know what? If I keep preaching the gospel to the Believers, every message—every message—and never bring up anything—any other counsel of the word of God, we're going to have a bunch of dead Christians, 'cause they're only going to be drinking milk. They need the meat. They need something a little deeper than just salvation now because they already got that. They got hold of it. It's in—Christ lives in their heart now, and what they need—they need something to grow thereby." And what you're saying is, "We just keep preaching the gospel. That's all we do. We don't—we preach anything else—nothing else in the scriptures." And I said, "You need to go find a church where you can get taught," amen, huh? Look at—I'd hate to look at—I was in churches where that's all they did was preach the gospel over and over and over and over again and didn't preach anything else, and I—and I felt like, "What—what am I doing here? I mean, I'm get—I'm getting weak, you know? I need some strength," amen. "I need something to chew on, H—I need something that's going to fulfill my soul," amen, "my spirit," huh? So I mentioned the King James Bible. I said, "What—not spelled the same—is different." You know what that verse said? The King James says, "We preach the gospel." Their—said—their version says, "We preach to the gospel." I know that is weird. I said, "What is the gospel? In the audience, you're preaching to the gospel. What are you preaching to the gospel?" Yeah, "Preach another doctrine—another gospel." I said, "This is goofy. That's what I said. This is—look, something's wrong with this. Change the doctrine." And so they didn't like it, and guess what? You know how much I cared about it? Just—just say it. You know, some want to get hold of it, y—someone get hold of it. What if it's just one person will change because of it? Yes, sir, huh? One person's eyes get open because these perverted scriptures have done a disservice to the Believers in Jesus Christ, right? Our heavenly Father, help us now we pray. Lord, you give us wisdom and knowledge, understanding. Lord, uh—we need the power of God upon us. If anything was said today that could be used to help somebody, may it do its job right now, do its course on the person that is affecting. Let us not put it off. These young people, middle-aged, older people, saved, newly saved, and if someone's lost in here, may it speak to their heart. Man, without Christ will never see the truth until he comes to Jesus. Just spinning the wheels. It's like a two-wheel drive vehicle stuck in the mud. Tell you—can't get out of it. Once you get C—Christ, now your all four wheels are spinning, and now you can see it. You can accomplish things. God help us. [Music] [Music] Cross where the martyrs were slain, so the old rugged cross to my trophies I'll lay down. I will cling to the cross and exchange it someday for a crown. Oh, the old rugged cross so despised by the world has a wondrous attraction for me. For the dear love of God, His glory above to bear to Calvary. So I'll cling to the old rugged cross, my trophies at last I lay down. I will cling to the old rugged cross and exchange it someday for a crown. Oh, the old rugged cross, so despised by the world, has a wondrous attraction for me. For the dear love of God, His glory above to bear to Calvary. So I'll cling to the old rugged cross, my trophies at last I lay down. On a hill far away stood an old rugged cross, the emblem of suffering and shame. And I love that old cross where the dear Lord of glory was slain. So I'll cling to the old rugged cross, to my trophies I'll lay down. I will cling to the cross and exchange it someday for a crown. Oh, the old rugged cross.
