Hey, everyone.
This is just a quick video to help you with some best practices for customizing your emails.
The first step would be to land on our settings. Then, under emails and SMS templates, click on system. From this page, you can customize all of your email templates.
The first one we'll look at will be our invoice. You can go ahead and view it by clicking the preview button at the upper right. That way, when you edit your template on the right, you can actually see how that will look in your emails in real time.
What we're actually going to look at are called email variables. These are designed to pull from specific areas in your account. For example, if we want to make this a little more personal when we're sending invoices, we could say, hi, and then we can insert our client first name.
By putting that in, it will automatically include the customer's first name when you're sending it to that customer. In this case, if it were an invoice for John, it would read, hi, John. Please review your attached PDF invoice.
So you don't have to do this for each customer. It will just automatically pull from that area of your account. You can use this for a number of different things.
Another one would be maybe for the company name, which we've already have listed right here. But just for the sake of an example, we can say something like, oh, let's insert email variable for company name, Bradley Shades, your business.
So now on the left, you can see that our email template will actually say to yourganix, which in this case means that our company greatly appreciates your business.
So that's pretty much it. You can see that there are quite a few email variables available in here, so definitely take a look and see if any of the others will work for you.
You can apply these variables to any of your email templates here as well, so it's not just limited to the invoice.
And that's it. If you have any questions, you can give us a call at eight five five five three six seven four seven zero, and we'll be more than happy to help and answer those questions for you.
Thanks, guys, for watching, and I hope you have a great rest of your day.
