This year changed me. It made me believe that things will happen, and we have to accept them no matter how bad they are; that things will not happen even if we want them so badly; that happy and sad things are only temporary; that people will leave no matter how tightly we hold them; and that people will stay even when everything feels loose. This year made me believe that your own self is the only Savior, and that if you don't save yourself, no one else will. This year is a game changer.
