Yeah, we're here in my restaurant, Penny Lane Bali. The government issued a statement claiming I own nothing, banned me permanently, blacklisted me.

So I'm [Music] back, and I'm so what, and I'm so, and I'm rich, so what? This past month has been a crazy, crazy experience, but one that I'm extremely grateful to have gone through.
Whilst I wouldn't wish it on most people, I think that when you're a person with strong morals and integrity, in the end, the truth and justice always prevail. I want to say thank you to the Indonesian government for looking over the facts and making the right judgment.
The people that coordinated this all tried very, very hard to take me down, but in the end, truth prevailed. I have too much integrity and too much respect for myself and my name. So when somebody comes at me or my reputation, I will never back down, and I advise the same for anybody watching.
Your reputation is the most important thing that you can leave behind. So throughout this all, I tried to stay patient but always believed that in the end, everything would be resolved, and less than a month later, it has been.
So I just want to say thank you to all the people that did support me and that stuck by me through this entire process. I know a lot of people speculated, maybe said a few things. There were a lot of media headlines, and I can understand you want to speculate because sometimes you're going to believe the headlines.
Despite everything, Indonesia is still one of my favorite countries, and so I will continue to promote Indonesia because I love Indonesia and I love the Indonesian people.

Yeah, that was lovely. That was heartwarming. It's very, very rare that I actually cry, and I cried. It felt like a community in there, you know?
It makes me sad to see that parents abandon their children. I've not had a very easy life myself, but of course, like that, to me, made me so happy because that was a community, and everybody felt like they were very strong and bonded together, and they seemed like very, very good people.
And yeah, I don't know, it made me happy to see it, and I was SM smiling a lot. Indonesian, some of the loveliest people.

Insan land, when I first came here, I felt something very, very special, and so that's why I decided to acquire this plot.
Still, it feels crazy coming here, and I know that this is where everything stemmed from. I know that without me acquiring this land, probably everything that happened wouldn't have happened.
Now, a lot of people probably speculated and thought that I got scammed out of this land, but this land still belongs to me. This land is not going anywhere.
The people that tried to manipulate and take me down are probably very, very annoyed that I'm back in Indonesia right now, and so I don't think it's looking too good for them.
They thought that they could create some noise, create some distractions, create some speculation, and turn people against me, turn the government against me.
Now, I'm not sure what I want to do with the land because in the other video, I made some jokes, and I said, you know, let's do this here, let's do that there, but of course, I was being sarcastic.
I never knew what I was going to do, and that's why I have not built anything here in over a year. Eddie was one of the only people that when this all happened called me up and said, "Don't worry, we're going to fix this, we're going to solve this," whereas most other people went silent.
You think you get a lot of money? Got no, I know you say you got fin, got no, you got this.
All right, it's that time of the day. It's time to go put some miles in the bank, so we're going to go for a run down at the rice fields.

It's crazy, like everything that happened, especially reading all the headlines, seeing all the videos. Like, it's crazy seeing the TikToks and reels and all that stuff being made on me.
You kind of don't feel like it's pointed towards you at that level. Like, when things go that viral, you almost look at yourself as an external character.
I didn't feel like it was targeted towards me; I felt like it was targeted towards Julian Patrus, the character. And that's how you have to detach yourself from getting caught up in the emotional side of it.
Even though you guys are watching me on YouTube, I think that when somebody grows notoriety, the person and the character are two different things.
I think that I tried to look at it as if it was a character, and it wasn't targeted towards me, and that's how I was able to stay strong and stoic and really not let it get to me that much.
I remember when Louis watched him spread $10,000 on the glass. I never ever thought I'd see that in my life.
Now I'm in the cuz boys are getting right, man. I was on TV making year after helping Mama, the [ __ ] would disappear.
All right, so we're back here in my restaurant, Penny Lane. It's been pretty crazy navigating the experience of what just happened.
There were many articles that came out based on what was said by the government. Now, I believe the government had good intentions, but they were misinformed.
So they actually made statements saying that I didn't own this restaurant, and then that got published by many other publications. For example, one was Daily Mail.
Daily Mail, the headline is "Australian entrepreneur Julian Patrus gets banned from Indonesia for claiming to own villas and restaurants." And in the article, the government says that Julian doesn't own this restaurant.
We came in and we checked. Now, I don't want to go into the specifics because I would say that they didn't really check too closely.
Then Daily Mail reached out to Penny Lane. Penny Lane confirmed that I do own the restaurant. It's actually in the article, but the funny thing is that the headline of the article does not change.
It still remains "Australian entrepreneur Julian Patrus banned." I reached out to Daily Mail again and I said, "I'm now back in Indonesia. Can you please get these articles removed?"
Because imagine that you Google somebody's name, the very first thing that comes up is "banned." This guy is banned from a specific country.
Imagine you're trying to do some business, you're trying to do some deals, they Google your name, and that's the very first thing that comes up.
It's not a good thing to have out there, especially when it was completely false, and that's what's [ __ ] up.
Me going through this experience has been quite a big, big learning lesson because I now know how to navigate for the future.
If my name keeps growing and I keep growing, there's going to be more media, more press, hopefully for positive reasons and not for this negativity.
But now to have this stuff on my name that's absolutely untrue and that I was sort of framed for, it's not good, and I hope that it gets rectified.
I hope that anybody at Daily Mail watching this rectifies this. You know, I was unbanned after three weeks. I got a lifetime permanent ban, blacklisted forever.
That was completely reversed in three weeks. Why would a government permanently blacklist you and ban you forever and let you in three weeks later?
So I hope that anybody watching this can empathize with me and understand sort of the stuff I've just gone through.
Use that as an experience and as a lesson for anything that you may go through in your life because sometimes doing the right thing can go wrong, and sometimes people that do the wrong thing can go right.
Anyway, if you're ever in Bali, make sure you come check out Penny Lane. I'd say it's top five most successful restaurants on the island, and yeah, our intentions have always been very, very pure.
So ain't it different? I'll L my T on the but I can't fly to the states. I got too much convictions. Apparently, all I talk is prison, but I don't know no different.
I was in jail up north, the Coalition. So I was actually invited to come and meet with the director of immigration.
So one of the top politicians of this country, after this whole ordeal occurred, has invited me to come to Jakarta, come have a meeting with him to sort of touch on everything that just happened.
Because I think that everything that happened was a little bit crazy, and I'm glad that it's now, after this, going to be finally over.
It's pretty crazy that just a few weeks ago I had a lifetime ban, and now I've been invited by the director of immigration to come and have a coffee and a chat.
If I didn't have a platform, maybe this would have never occurred the way it has. I actually heard that there has been nobody that's had a ban reversed this quickly.
And that's why there are benefits to having a platform. There are benefits to growing an audience, and I think this is a great example of that.
So yeah, I'm extremely honored now to be going to meet some of these politicians and for this to finally come to an end.

I just finished a one-hour meeting with the director of immigration, and yeah, crazy experience. From being lifetime banned to now being here, invited to the official offices and sitting down.
