Now, coming back to the topic. On 7th October 2023, Hamas did such an attack on Israel that was very shocking for the entire world. Israel was also not prepared for this, and soon after that, Israel started a large-scale attack to get its revenge on Hamas.
As soon as Israel started attacking, the next day, i.e., 8th October 2023, in the north of Israel, Hezbollah of Lebanon, which has an alliance with Hamas, started attacking Israel as well. The heaviest attack done by Hezbollah was on Sheba Farms, which is a disputed land between Lebanon and Israel. Back-to-back, rockets were launched, and air strikes were conducted.
Hezbollah is an Iran-backed Shia group that has huge control over the southern part of Lebanon. Hezbollah's political and military wings have been formed. In fact, in Lebanon's parliament, they have 13 of their ministers.
So, on 8th October 2023, when Hezbollah attacked Israel back-to-back, Israel also started air strikes. What I mean to say is, after the 7th October incident, within 2 days, Israel had entered a two-front war in its north and south regions, where on one side it was fighting with Hamas, and on the other hand, it was fighting with Hezbollah.
When Hezbollah came to attack Israel, Israel realized how much preparation had been made only after 3 days, i.e., on 11th October. On this day, Hezbollah started attacking from Lebanon on the northern region of Israel using heavy artillery, anti-tank missiles, and drones. While this attack was occurring between Israel and Hezbollah, news was released that Hezbollah's 20 militants were going to enter northern Israel using paragliders, and whatever was done on 7th October in Israel by Hamas was to be repeated again, this time in the northern part of Israel.
When this news started circulating, alarms went off in the entire northern region of Israel. Israeli forces told the citizens to take shelter. Then, around 24 to 48 hours later, Israel's army announced that this was a false alarm that went off due to human error, stating that this information wasn't correct and there was nothing to be concerned about.
However, the Israeli citizens living in the northern part of Israel, i.e., near the borders of Lebanon, had witnessed how Hamas had entered Israel and caused destruction just a few days prior. At the same time, Hezbollah was launching heavy attacks, so the Israeli citizens in the northern region became scared. About 96,000 Israelis who lived near the Lebanon border, i.e., in the northern area of Israel, left their homes and went to the other side. The civilians on the Lebanon side backed off as well.
Now, when this started, Netanyahu faced a lot of pressure from the opposition. A few days before, the south of Israel was attacked, forcing people to flee, and now due to the attacks in the north, people had to flee from their homes. The Israeli citizens weren’t able to live in their own houses; they had to stay in camps.
Regarding this, Israel's opposition put a lot of pressure on Netanyahu and told him that this was Netanyahu's failure. When this was pointed out frequently, Netanyahu promised that very soon, Israelis who fled from the northern area would return to their homes. But it wasn’t easy to do this because people would only come back to the Lebanon border when Hezbollah was on the back foot. Attacks would need to stop, and in comparison to Hamas, Hezbollah was stronger, with more than 100,000 fighters, and it also had backing from Iran.
So, that’s why it was a very tough task for Israel. After this, Hezbollah and Israeli forces fought on a daily basis. Hezbollah, which was attacking from southern Lebanon, had made a four-layer security for itself. The first layer was tactical defense. In the second layer, there were rockets and missiles. In the third layer, command and control. In the fourth layer, the main leaders who headed this mission stayed there.
Israel used its Pegasus software; although they have a lot of software, Pegasus is famous. By using its Pegasus software, they hacked into the phones used by the leaders of Hezbollah, allowing them to track their locations and the strategies they made, which provided a huge advantage for Israel. Israel hacked the mobile phones of many Hezbollah leaders and tracked their locations. Using guided missiles, they attacked and killed them.
As a result, many of Hezbollah's leaders were killed by Israel, and the strategies with which Hezbollah planned to attack were known to Israel in advance. In fact, the leaders who weren't even in the war zone, who were far inside Lebanon and Syria, had missiles aimed at them as well.
The biggest problem for Hezbollah began when, in November 2023, Israel located Hussam Mohammad Ibrahim, Ali Raef, and Ali Hassan and shot them down through guided missiles. These incidents increased significantly. Then, as the year 2024 began, Hezbollah members realized that their planning was known to Israel beforehand.
The biggest reason behind this was the mobile phones. Many Hezbollah commanders were killed by missiles when they used their mobile phones immediately after communicating. They tried using fewer mobile phones. In fact, if they went on operations, they avoided taking mobile phones. But even then, tracking done by Israel became a headache for Hezbollah, as using mobile phones allowed Israel to know everything.
If they didn’t use them, how would they coordinate among themselves? How would they communicate? They faced this problem a lot. Slowly, they began abandoning phones and started putting in small efforts like handwritten letters. They also started using pagers, but not on a large scale. There were very few people who used pagers to communicate.
Now, after that, February 2024 began, and Hezbollah's leader, Hassan Nasrallah, came out on TV and gave a message to the people of Hezbollah. In the message, he said, “You ask me where the Israeli agents are. I'll tell you that the phone in your hands, in your wife's hands, in your children's hands.”

After the message given by Hezbollah's leader, the members of Hezbollah, who used pagers sometimes and used phones only when necessary, rapidly abandoned phones and shifted towards using pagers. Actually, what happened was the mobile is connected with the local tower. If someone establishes control over that tower, then the phones of the entire area can be tracked.
A mobile phone has Wi-Fi, GPS, Internet, Sim Card, and IMEI number with which everything can be tracked. But pagers work in RF technology, i.e., Radio Frequency, like normal radios which also work on the same RF technology. So, the location of this pager can't be tracked.
Pagers have one-way communication; some advanced pagers have two-way communication, but common pagers have one-way communication, i.e., a message can only be received. You can receive but you can't send the message. A person uses a computer or centralized service to send messages in bulk to 100, 200, or 1000 pagers and that message is conveyed.
This is the reason that even in today's date, where there is such advanced technology, people who have security issues still use pagers. Many restaurants and hospitals also use pagers sometimes, where the message is broadcasted to the staff altogether to coordinate.
Looking at these things, Hezbollah also decided that they would use pagers. They were discussing it for a long time. When many members started dying, and even their leader said it on TV, then in the beginning of March 2024, Hezbollah started looking for companies around the world to order pagers. They had decided to order 5000 pagers and even fixed a specific model: the AR-924 model.
Now, when Hezbollah was deciding all of this, the intel also reached Israel that Hezbollah, which wanted to shift to pagers for many years, was now looking to order in bulk and had already ordered pagers from some companies.
To deal with all this, there’s a dedicated intelligence unit in Israel named 8-2-Hundred. This isn’t called 82 hundred; they call it 8-2-Hundred. Actually, Israel's intelligence is divided into 3 parts. One is Mossad, which works on international operations, i.e., threats from countries outside Israel's borders. The second is Shin Bet, also called Shabba, which works on Israel's internal security. If there's a spy from a foreign country who enters Israel and does something, this unit finds the spy that enters the boundary and eliminates them.
The third is Agaf HaModi'in, which is Israel's military intelligence. There’s a unit in this military intelligence called Shmone Matayim, referred to as Unit 8-2-Hundred. This unit specializes in signal intelligence and cyber operations, tracking all electronic devices, setting bombs in them, and eliminating enemies—all these tasks fall under this unit.
If you remember, in 2020, Israel killed Iran's scientist with the help of an AI-assisted robot remotely via satellite. That was done by this 8-2-Hundred unit. The task regarding Hezbollah's pagers was assigned to this unit as well.
When this unit got the task, they knew that since Hezbollah was shifting to pagers in bulk, one or two pagers wouldn’t work for them; they would need thousands of pagers in bulk. So, Unit 8-2-Hundred tracked all the major companies worldwide that manufacture pagers, like Gold Apollo, Multitone Electronics, Unication, and Swiss Phone.
After some time, they got intel that Gold Apollo had previously supplied pagers to Hezbollah, routing through multiple countries to reach Lebanon. Secondly, Hezbollah is declared a terrorist organization by the US, Japan, and European countries, so Hezbollah avoids transactions in these countries. Gold Apollo is based in Taiwan, so it was perfect for ordering pagers.
That’s why it’s easier for Hezbollah to operate in Taiwan compared to other countries, where multiple intelligence agencies are trying to keep track of Hezbollah. After this, Israel decided to build connections with Gold Apollo in any way possible, but Gold Apollo is listed among the world’s biggest pager companies, so it’s not very easy to spy on and track everything.
To deal with this, Israel's Unit 8-2-Hundred chose a very different approach. Israel's intelligence units register companies in different domains across various countries so that if they ever need them in the future, they will not have to create new ones.
Beforehand, Israel's intelligence unit registered different companies. After this, Israel tried making shell companies in Budapest, the capital of Hungary. They selected Hungary because its import and export policies are followed by the European Union, but Hungary supports foreign investment and free trade to grow its economy.
In fact, Hungary has one of the lowest corporate tax rates in Europe to facilitate all this. So, Israel found a place in the 14th district of Budapest at 33 A 1142 Budapest. On the ground floor of this building, they set up a company named BAC Consulting.
This is the original photo of that building, and 13 more companies are registered there. If you visit this address now, they have put up a paper indicating that they have fled from here. But at that particular time, there was a girl in this company—Cristiana Barsony. They made her the CEO, but it hasn’t been confirmed yet whether she was made the CEO by deception or whether she was actually working with Israel.
However, Reuters caught some lies. They showed on the website of BAC Consulting that Cristiana is a board member of the Earth Child Institute, but when it was checked, it turned out to be a lie. Similarly, when Cristiana's resume was checked, inaccuracies were revealed as well.
They claimed she was the project manager for the International Atomic Energy Agency, while that wasn’t the case; she wasn’t managing any project there. For now, Cristiana is being reached out to by everyone, but nobody could ever talk to her.
A total of 2 people have been discussed most: one is Cristiana, and the other is Rinson Jose, of Indian origin, who migrated from Kerala to Norway. His name also came to light regarding this deal, as his company, Norta Global LTD, was linked to the 1.6 million Euros that went to support Israel.
The national security agency of his country declined to comment on this, stating there's nothing related. However, now the Wayanad Police in India have started an inquiry about Rinson Jose.
So, from now on, Israel's plan was to set up the BAC company and make it a front party to deal with Gold Apollo. Now you’ll see how this was done. Apart from BAC Consulting, 2 more shell companies were created, but their names and addresses remain undisclosed.
It is said these two companies were part of Israel's master plan. When Israel established these shell companies, they began acquiring genuine clients and started supplying pagers in bulk. It’s not clear whether they were manufacturing pagers there itself or bringing them from somewhere else.
All the information I’m sharing is based on a report published by Sheera Frenkel, Saad, and Ronen in the New York Times on 18th September. Now, discussions are taking place everywhere regarding this report. You’ll find all these links in the description as well.
After creating these shell companies, they claimed to be the information coordinator for the European Institute of Innovation & Technology, doing business for the European Commission, with countries like Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Hungary, Malta, and Latvia.
Now, after setting all this up, Israel had started the business, but it knew how significant its shell companies could be for a larger operation. However, Hezbollah would not touch pagers from an unknown company. To resolve this, they tried getting in touch with Gold Apollo in Taiwan because they believed that Gold Apollo had earned Hezbollah's trust, and they had ordered pagers from there before.
To facilitate this, they posed as Budapest businessmen and arranged a meeting at Gold Apollo's office in Taiwan. Multiple discussions took place, and they made Gold Apollo ready for an agreement stating that Gold Apollo would allow BAC Consulting to use its name and branding. BAC Consulting would create its own pager device, the AR-924, and manage all operations by itself, while the Gold Apollo Co. Ltd. sticker would be put on the model, meaning it would be sold forward after branding.
However, Gold Apollo had no idea it was dealing with Israel's shell company. The entire agreement between BAC Consulting and Gold Apollo was fixed so that BAC Consulting would give shares of its profit and offer a signing bonus as well. Overall, the deal seemed beneficial, so Gold Apollo couldn’t refuse, and it signed the agreement.
Gold Apollo did not know what was happening to them. They assumed that only their name was being used, and their company was founded to be registered in 2022, which had been a long time coming, so they signed the agreement without knowing the implications for the future.
As soon as Gold Apollo and BAC Consulting signed the agreement, the pagers from BAC Consulting were distinct from those of Gold Apollo, and this was exactly what Israel wanted. BAC Consulting started producing pagers and supplying them to multiple genuine clients, but in reality, they were spying and waiting for their principal client—Hezbollah—to sell these pagers with Gold Apollo's logo.
Although Hezbollah had bought pagers from Gold Apollo previously, selling these pagers produced by BAC Consulting in Budapest to Hezbollah was a challenging task. So, Israel deployed many spy agents who integrated into Lebanon and among Hezbollah members.
They were tasked with bringing in the ones who would develop pager deals from Hezbollah as clients to Budapest, knowing that Hezbollah doesn’t order from the open market. They have to use many secret channels to place orders for pagers. What agents Israel used, what tricks they applied, which companies were employed in between, how Hezbollah was convinced to place orders solely with BAC Consulting—nobody knows this.
Investigations are still underway, but somehow, Israel succeeded in this effort and turned Hezbollah into their client as intended. According to Sky News, Hezbollah ordered 5000 pagers from BAC Consulting, with 3000 pagers set to be sent in the first lot and the remaining 2000 in a second lot.
During this process, it’s reported that the two other shell companies created by Israel played major roles in placing these orders. While BAC Consulting was preparing to deliver pagers to Hezbollah, another development occurred: BAC Consulting had to make payments according to the agreement with Taiwan's Gold Apollo.
When BAC Consulting started processing payments to Gold Apollo, Taiwan's government detected unusual activities, leading to heightened alertness. Taiwan's economy ministry noted that Gold Apollo's payments often redirected from the Middle East. Local banks even placed BAC Consulting's payments on hold, and an investigation was initiated.
However, before the findings could be announced, Israel had completed its operations. The payment issues were corroborated by the founder of Gold Apollo, Hsu Ching, indicating that payments were flowing through unusual channels from the Middle East. Moreover, it came to light that the money needed for this operation, around 1.6 million Euros, was initially sent by Israel to Bulgaria and then to Hungary.
As for the orders Hezbollah placed through BAC Consulting, a theory from Sean Moorhouse, a former British Army bomb disposal officer, suggested the normal pagers contained two batteries providing power to the devices but cautioned that one of the batteries might have been replaced with an explosive.
Thus, one battery operated the pager while the other was filled with explosives. The investigation found that one of the batteries in these pagers weighed around 20 grams, lighter than the normal alkaline A battery weighing 23 grams, leading to speculations that explosives were stored in these batteries, specifically PETN.
PETN can create massive explosions from minimal quantities, which is why this particular explosive is favored by agencies for covert operations. In 1996, a similar explosive was used in a mobile device to eliminate Hamas operative Yahya by Mossad. Not long after, a bomb was implanted in a dog and sent to Hezbollah's camp.
February 2024 came, and Israeli pagers began infiltrating Lebanon day by day. All Hezbollah operatives using these pagers had no inkling they were carrying live bombs entirely controlled by Israel, capable of exploding at a moment's notice. Approximately 3000 pagers had reached Lebanon, with the remaining 2000 still expected.
Then came the date of 15th September 2024, when the pager attack was scheduled. Just two days prior to this attack, Hezbollah had planted an M18A1 Claymore mine in Yarkon Park of Tel Aviv, intending to trigger it via a remote activation system. However, Israel's internal intelligence unit, Shin Bet, received intel and prevented the explosion.
While the attack was thwarted, Israel was furious and felt it needed to do something decisive regarding Hezbollah. Two days after this prevention, on 17th September 2024, the day the pager attack was planned, the Israeli security cabinet held an extensive meeting about Hezbollah. The specifics of the discussion remain unknown, but following this meeting, Israel announced it was time for Israeli citizens who had left their homes to return.
Following this meeting, Netanyahu stated in the media that significant security changes were essential concerning Hezbollah along Israel's northern border for the people to return home.
Everyone suspected this meeting was a routine discussion, but speculation arose that it was connected to the impending pager attack. In fact, CNN reported that Israel had already informed the US about the pagers attack it was planning to execute on Lebanon, seeking US confidence before proceeding. However, this statement prompted considerable turmoil, with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken declaring that they were unaware of such a plan.
After this meeting concluded, Shin Bet indicated another development: Hezbollah had placed explosives in a device and tried to assassinate a former Israeli officer, which Israel managed to interrupt. Thus, all these events transpired shortly before the pager attack.
On the same day, 17th September 2024, at 3:30 PM, all members of Hezbollah in Lebanon received a message on their pagers. Whenever the main leadership of Hezbollah communicated about a task, a specific Arabic pattern was used in the message, making it appear as if their leader had sent it.
Even if someone was away from their pager, they rushed to check it as soon as they noticed it was vibrating. The previously silent pagers began to ring, and after a short time, the pagers started to explode in succession. Thousands of pagers went off in shops, markets, homes, and bus stands throughout Lebanon.
Common citizens around Hezbollah members became injured as well, and the situation intensified when news broke of 9-year-old Fatima who had gone to give her father a ringing pager, leading to her tragic demise. As a result, public outrage soared, particularly regarding Fatima's incident, prompting crowds to rally against the chaos.
Hospitals in Lebanon became inundated with victims, with doctors cancelling personal time. Citizens began removing batteries from TVs, laptops, and phones, fearing potential explosions. This panic extended to airports where people discarded batteries from their devices to prevent any unforeseen detonations. Thousands of injuries were reported, and more than 40 people lost their lives.
On the following day, 18th September 2024, the media reported that four deceased individuals had walkie-talkies nearby which also began exploding. In Beirut, solar panels atop buildings also detonated, further spreading panic and uncertainty among the population regarding potential explosions.
The situation escalated when Iranian Ambassador Mojtaba Amani was injured by his pager as well, raising questions about what Hezbollah's pagers might be doing in the hands of the Iranian ambassador. As the explosions from walkie-talkies activated, however, it became apparent that these belonged to the IC-F24 model made by ICOM, a Japanese firm, which had ceased production in 2014.
No one could explain why these devices were detonating. Following this incident, various theories emerged about how radio-based technology could have been remotely triggered. The most discussed theory suggested an encrypted message sent from a distance caused the memory to fill, initiating a pre-programmed heating sequence in the chip that led to explosive detonation.
Determining the actual situation proved challenging; no company or country would willingly admit to equipping Hezbollah with pagers, whether knowingly or by accident. Numerous countries recognize Hezbollah as a terrorist organization, creating significant liabilities for any entity that might acknowledge any involvement.
Hezbollah itself remained tight-lipped about where they ordered their pagers from or what secret channels were utilized for procurement. When it comes to Israel, they officially refused to comment on the pager attack, providing only a hint—Israel's Defense Minister Yoav Gallant stated that a new period of warfare was commencing, and they were adapting to this.
All these developments indicated one thing: a possible war was on the horizon between Hezbollah and Israel, with Israel signaling it might initiate a ground invasion in Lebanon to restore safety to its northern regions. What will actually materialize remains uncertain, but if anything significant occurs, I'll create another video to address it.
