There's a guy out of nowhere that The New York Times has a story of a fellow who, with him and his brother and $20,000, he built a business worth $1.8 billion in somewhere around 2 years.
The New York Times went and interviewed him to see if this is real or not. So, Matthew Gallagher took just 2 months, $20,000, and more than a dozen AI tools to get a startup off the ground from his house in LA. 41 years old, he used AI to write the code for the software that powers his company, produces the website, generates the images and videos for ads, and handles customer service. He created an AI system to analyze his business's performance.
His startup, Medvie, a telehealth provider of GLP-1 weight loss drugs, got 300 customers its first month, 1,000 customers the second month. More in 2025, Medvie's first full year in business, the company generated $401 million in sales.
Wow. In sales. Wow.
