Planets in signs of rulership, fall, detriment and exaltation

Are you recording for me? Yes, even though, um, they are in a, a sign of fall. Even the planet is on the side of fall, or in a sign of detriment, there are some balancing qualities that that planet can be operating through, or it can be expressing. So there can be some wonderful things about having planets in detriment or fall because we're all trying to bring balance. To bring, whether if we're heavy on one archetype, we want to bring the other one into our lives so we have some balance there.

And planets in detriment and fall can bring that balance. They can force it upon us because we are having to, um, develop those particular traits, um, because it's almost like a hard aspect in the sense that we just have a harder, more difficult time expressing an action or a motivation in a way that is more easily going to get our needs met. Which is aspects can also assert themselves or present themselves. So we see Mercury, um, ruling Gemini and Virgo. Its exaltation in Aquarius, there's a lot of debate about that, but I say it is. And, um, and its detriment in Sagittarius and Pisces. So, uh, the detriment is always the opposite sign to the house of rulership. So Virgo, I'm sorry, Mercury in Pisces becomes very, very broad-minded, and it's hard to make decisions. It's hard to narrow things down. It's hard to have that critical faculty or that critical thinking come into play. And we also see the same kind of deal with, um, Mercury coming into Sagittarius because it naturally rules Gemini, where we also have the smaller mind and classification and the critical thinking. And that goes into Sagittarius, where sometimes we can get carried away or not as, uh, prone to looking at the facts. But again, there's a lot of good things about having planets in detriment and fall because it does force a type of balance.

Moon, uh, rules Cancer. It's exalted in Taurus. Moon loves to be in Taurus. In its detriment in Capricorn. So very interesting. Um, the moon in Capricorn has a pretty bad reputation. We see people as, uh, unfeeling or cold or, uh, distant. And really, it's more of a protectiveness. Moon in Capricorn people are, you know, there's a penchant for loyalty and deep connections. And there's a lot of good things about having the moon in Capricorn. They tend to, um, you know, not trust as easily because they're looking for proof. It's a more grounded way to, um, view life and relationships. And then we have moon in Scorpio, where we have, um, in, in its fall in Scorpio, where we have some difficulties there with, um, uh, letting go, trust, the things that we associate with Scorpio.

So we have the Sun in rulership in Leo, exaltation in Aries, because Sun loves to be in an Aries sign. The Sun is all about me, and in Aries, that's definitely what we're all about. Uh, it's detriment in Aquarius because it's the opposite sign to the Sun, and in its fall in Libra because the Sun is more of a selfish me archetype, and then again, in Libra, we are, uh, about others. So the Sun is not as confident, it's not as cocky in the sign of Libra. So we're learning to develop some of our confident qualities or to know what we are more as an individual, a particular sign. So they all have a naturalness to them, and they all have, uh, um, a challenge in signs of fall and detriment.

So looking at our, uh, let me pull up our little worksheet here. So I put a little worksheet out that was just, uh, very simple, just talking about the nature of the planets, of what they do, and how they act in any particular sign. So let's look at, let's play the actor game. Where is mine here? I guess I didn't send it to myself. Okay, that's fine. So Aries and Mars being the natural ruler of Aries. So Aries is how we want to survive, how you want to be supreme. We want to make that touchdown and, um, assert ourselves. We are the center of attention in Aries, and the need is for survival and for, um, I'm going to say, being having the right to take up space and take up air and, uh, being unashamed about that. So Mars is the action that we take. So Mars in Aries is assertive, it's brash, um, it can even be, uh, a little bit, uh, pushy in that particular sign.

So let's start with Aries, and then let's go to the back, and then let's talk about Pisces, because I think that we were a little bit heavy on the first six signs last time. So how do you think Mars acts? And just give me three words. How does Mars act in the sign of Taurus? Any thoughts? I would say they take their time. So slow, not slow, but just kind of like step by step. No need to rush. So methodical. Is that, uh, just, just more like, you know, using, uh, sorry, following. It's doing things at its own pace. Ah, very good. So phrase instead of a word that works too. Yeah. Um, do you think we could do things artistically? Yeah, because it has, you know, the Venus part. Yeah, I might be able to do things that way. Um, do you think Mars could act politely in the sign of Taurus? Does that seem to fit? Think so. Um, for some Tauruses, yes. For others, it probably depends on aspects. Um, so Mars could act sensually in the sign of Taurus also, because that's what we found. Senses, domineering. I could say so, yes, in that particular sign. It is a, a sign that, uh, has a certain amount of weight to it. Um, what was that? Stubborn, maybe? Yes, Mars can act stubborn. I would say that that's definitely true.

So how do you think Mars would act in a sign of Gemini? Multitasking, doing multiple things at the same time, doing too much. They drive themselves crazy. I think so too. And when it comes to anger, sometimes I notice that they just argue for the sake of arguing, even though there really is no argument. They just want to like, say stuff to prove their point when there is no argument to eat, like there is no argument happening, but they just want to stir up that confrontational energy just to have something to do. Which for me, as a Gemini Sun, like I find that interesting, but I know that my friend who has a partner of 10 years, she's like, dude, just shut up. We already stopped talking about this like 10 minutes ago, and he's still like trying to prove his points, which I find hilarious. So Mars is tenacious when it comes to conversation in Taurus. I'm sorry, Gemini. For sure. Yeah, Mars can be verbally assertive, I'd say. What do you think, Stacy? Can be verbally assertive, but I was going to add on. I've known someone who had, um, Mars and Gemini, as well as Sun and Mercury. And if he got mad, sometimes it was, I will say nothing, like silence, no words. I wonder what house that was in. If that was in a water house? Do you know? That's a good question. Gosh, I could actually answer that, but it would take me a second. Wait, um, sorry, the ascendant was in, um, Leo. If that helps? Let's see. So let me back up here. That's ascendant and Leo. 11th or maybe 12th house? Oh, wait, 11th. Um, it was, yeah, it's the 11th house. Interesting. What aspects are there? Um, let's see. There is a, [Music] conjunction with the Sun, opposite, oh, opposite Neptune. Maybe that's what all three of them. Opposite Neptune. [Applause] Sun opposite Neptune and Mars opposite Neptune. Okay, so there's the mitigating factor that we see is the aspect. Yeah, because Neptune is passive, passive, passivity. The sharp tongue that I'm sure he's going crazy in his head, but there's a, there's a holding back, or there's also a, um, let's say, uh, there's like a power in not confronting or not clearing something up at the time. Yeah, yeah, that can be Neptune can add a manipulative quality to things. So, um, yeah, I would assume that that would be the the culprit. No, okay. Not having a case of verbal diarrhea, which you would expect in that particular position. Okay, well, that helps clear things up. Like that. It's okay. Yeah, Neptune squares or oppositions quiet planets down. They render them more introverted and less likely to be appropriately confrontational. So that's usually the the the issue that we're dealing with is, um, escaping rather than confronting. Oh, okay. So, um, Gemini would be verbally like would fight with words then? They typically, yeah, that Mars does fight with words. Yeah, in Gemini, uh, we fight with the artist brush, or with our wallet in Taurus, and with our fists in Aries. So how would we fight in the sign of Cancer? Feelings. So many feelings. I say this as a Mars in Cancer. We would fight with our feelings, maybe with our own feelings sometimes. Yeah. Oh, totally, totally. There are times where something will be like level one bad, and I would take it to level 28 bad, and then I'll be like, nothing even happened. But you took yourself over there. I just had that happen with my daughter today, actually. She just pulled that on me twice in one day, actually. She has a Scorpio moon square tomorrow. So yeah, a little bit of that thread in her. Yeah, that can be an issue when Mars in Scorpio, Mars in Cancer, Mars in certain signs, there can be a want to say an overreaction or a, um, a rage that can just sort of spill over, and then we can often have to backpedal sometimes a lot in certain situations. You would say that's also true for Mars and Scorpio? Mars and Scorpio can, it's a water sign, so there just tend to be a, um, an uncontrolled, it's not all the time, but there can be an uncontrollable expression of Mars in Scorpio. Sorry, like intensity. Yeah, and intensity to it. Absolutely. But because things are intense, they happen in short bursts. Mars in Scorpio doesn't go around, uh, constantly breaking things, but it's like, if there is that, um, that anger or that threat, it can be like the spike in energy, and something can be destroyed. So it's, uh, it's, it's more of a short burst or a brush fire. There. I'm gonna cut you, but I'm not gonna break this table. That's pretty good. Yeah, that's pretty good. Um, yeah, it's an interesting, uh, interesting expression in Scorpio. And Mars and square feet doesn't tend to let things go. Mars and Aries does things, you know, we confront it, we act it out, we get what we want, then we move on. Mars in Aries really doesn't hold a grudge. Mars in Scorpio does. So it's a very, very different expression, um, of the two. There. That's so something I noticed. My best friend has her Mars in Aries, and she'll like flip out, and then she'll be fine. And then I have another friend who has Mars in Scorpio in the fourth house, and like, when they're mad, they don't say anything, but I could feel like that steam burn from a distance, like that ceiling. Yeah, even like throwing like a text message. I'm like, are you mad at me? And they're like, no. Like, okay, you are. We'll talk later. Calm down. It's crazy. Yeah, it's confrontation can often be used to an end with Mars in Scorpio. With Mars in Aries, we just can't help but confront. It's like a brush fire as opposed to an arson type of thing. So it's just different actions. Um, so yeah, Mars in, in Cancer, um, a little bit harder to express that that, uh, spontaneous rage. It does tend to come out through feelings in that particular sign. And then we have Mars and Leo. So how would Mars assert itself in Leo? How would Mars fight in Leo? I have a question about the Mars in Cancer. Yes. Um, do, would it be said that they, you know, like a crab doesn't go at things directly, it goes kind of sideways? Would that Mars and Cancer go sideways? Yeah, that's a wonderful visual. Um, yeah, that makes a lot of sense. It is more indirect when it comes to how we will get what it is that, uh, that we need in that particular sign. So, um, yeah, very, very interesting observation. So Mars and Leo, how does Mars fight in Leo? What do you think? What action does Mars take in Leo? Do you think maybe, uh, we would fight with style in that particular sign? Yeah, we would. We would fight, especially if people were watching us. So it's like the kid who, you know, he'll, he'll play ball outside the backyard as long as his parents are watching him. But if there's nobody watching, you know, they don't really want to fly. So Mars and Leo, yeah. Stacy? Oh, so I was just thinking about, um, Harry Potter and J.K. Rowling. A Leo, like the Gryffindors, very Leo, where they like to fight, but as long as other people are watching. That's like, oh, yeah, yeah. I've kind of forgotten about that. I haven't, I haven't read that whole series, but yeah, excellent observation. Um, yeah, so there's an audience always involved with Leo. We're looking for that affirmation. And, uh, Mars and Leo, we do tend to do things on a stage. That's also a sign we could do things a little bit more selfishly. And, and all in all three fire signs, Mars does tend to take on a bit, all of the, the Sun, the planets will actually take on a little bit of, uh, a selfish vibe, just because that's the nature of fire signs. Um, so what about Mars and Virgo? How would Mars fight in Virgo? If Mars was, uh, you know, if that's our fighting instinct, how would that express in Virgo? They would aggressively rearrange your room until it was perfect. Absolutely. And then it might beat you with a wet noodle if something was out of place. Yes, yes. Aggressive analysis, aggressive, uh, arrangement. You could put aggressive, um, in front of any number of words and any of the signs and get a pretty good understanding there. So more aggressive criticism, aggressively, um, bettering oneself as well. Really feeling that a lot of the energy is going into, uh, improvement, self-improvement, or improving the environment or people around us. So Mars can act, uh, fastidiously, improvingly. So he might be the, the medic on the battlefield. If he had to go to war, he'd find a way to keep out of the fray. Um, so what about Mars and Libra? How would Mars act? What is the action that we would take? Sometimes passive aggressive, but also there are times that I've noticed both of my siblings are Mars in Libra. They don't really like to yell when they argue. It's more of a discussion. And when you come at them like in a, uh, angry, confrontational kind of way, they shut down. Yeah, you don't like profanity, I notice. And they're more into like discussing what's going on, like the issue at hand, versus kind of like the way, like in Mars and Aries, to just be like, a few, blah, blah, blah. Like they, they shut down like when you start yelling at them or cursing. It's a non-confrontational sign. Libra, and Mars is all about confrontation and just showing up and saying, this is me. So with Libra, we show up and say, this is we. And so it's different when it comes to how we're, we're going to get something. We tend to get that through working with others, or bringing other people together, or put our energy into getting agreement, um, from the people around us. So it is a non-confrontational way of confronting things. And it, uh, you know, often you'll, you'll hear men, especially with Mars in Libra, complain that they, uh, that they're seen as the Mr. Nice Guy, or Mr. Nice Guy never wins, or how can they become, um, I know, perfect, more proficient at, um, you know, attracting women. And it isn't that they're unattractive men. It's that oftentimes men who have Mars in a feminine sign, or in a sign where it isn't as aggressive, they can act in ways that don't naturally put them at the very top of the hierarchy. So Mars say in Capricorn, or even in Scorpio, or in Leo, or Sagittarius, or Aries, it's more natural for men to act in ways that just have them more near the top of the human hierarchy. So there's a lot of beautiful things about having Mars in Libra. I mean, not loving to fight is a beautiful quality, being able to bring people together, putting your energy into, uh, making more harmony. There's a lot of good things about that. It can make it harder to grab exactly what we want, but we can learn. Jamie, would that be maybe like a politician would assert their Mars like on how they would go about, um, you know, trying to find harmony, where a, you know, police officer goes into battle in a different way? But politicians tend to try and be more diplomatic in finding balance. Absolutely. Yes, Libra is diplomacy. So yeah, um, rather than threaten, we would try to make our enemy into our friend, or find something that was, uh, yeah, a more polite means of solving a situation or of appealing to people. So Mars in Aries as a soldier is a soldier. But Mars in Libra is a peace officer. So different. A soldier, one who, you know, can't wait to get, well, look at it as Aries himself. He, he loves the idea of getting to go and fight. But a peace officer is more like a policeman in your local neighborhood who joined because he wanted to keep the peace, and he's much more of a laid-back kind of non-confrontational dude and doesn't ever pull his gun, as opposed to Mars in Aries who cannot wait to pull that giant rifle. So it's a very different way of doing battle. So yeah, in Libra, we make our enemies into our friends. Stacy, is it codependent in Libra, or does it need, or does it need another person to do something, or is it, can it be a self-starter? Or because it's like, we're so partnership-oriented, do you need other people? No, it's harder to do things on our own with Mars in Libra because Libra is the need for relationships. So to act, to even feel energized, that generally happens within relationship, or on relationships, or for relationships. So if we have somebody who doesn't have anything going on, um, they don't have any prospects, they can feel that there's nothing, uh, they don't have any energy, they lack energy, they lack initiative, they lack the ability to act on things. So they can feel like they just can't ever get going. So it's very important for planets in Libra to have relationship in order to feel that they're fulfilling, you know, a certain purpose. They're, they're getting a certain something out of life that they want. So Mars in Libra is acting on that need for relationship. Yeah, so that's like the, the, what, what powers the battery? Because Mars is what, uh, is like our ignition switch. It's what turns us on. And the fuel is people in Libra. The fuel is like ideas in Gemini. The fuel is feelings in Cancer. The fuel is attention in Leo. So there's different types of fuel. And Scorpio, what do you think we're fueled by, Jennifer? Um, we are fueled by, uh, power and, uh, sex and, um, other people's money. Um, I don't know. No, those are all good. Those are all good answers. Yes, we are fueled by, um, the prospect of ownership or of, uh, yes, a greater power. Mars is a tactician in Scorpio and in Capricorn. So we do things more methodically in both those signs. So Mars in Scorpio, the the theme for that should probably be revenge is a meal best served cold. So they can have that, you know, surge, but typically they will act in ways or act upon their anger in ways, or especially their resentment, because we can have a lot of resentment in Scorpio, act on that resentment in ways that is going to put them more in a power position or give them leverage. Leverage is a big word when we're dealing with Scorpio. All signs or planets coming into Scorpio are after a certain amount of leverage. And we can also act in the other way. There's, there's the other possibility, but that's usually after we work through that hard sign of Scorpio, and then we get to the other side, that death and rebirth annoyance there. So, um, yeah, Mars and Scorpio, uh, we do act with great intent. Any other ideas of Mars in Scorpio? Your son? Yeah, mine too. I really, yeah. Yes, when he would get mad, he would go in his room and he would beat up his furniture, and it'd only take about two minutes, and then he'd come back out of his room. He'd be fine. He'd be in. I would, I handled things so differently. I stay mad for a lot longer than that. But if he had that opportunity to, you know, just kind of explode and do that intensity, he was fine. But if he didn't act that way, if it was something that did stay in and fester and fester and fester, then we can see the other side of things where it would, you know, how teenagers can try to use things against you to use the car, gain leverage, or his typical Scorpio kind of stuff. So I was always happy when he would just sort of ragefully express himself in the moment and then be done with it, because I knew that it wasn't going to come back to haunt me in that case. So Scorpio's an interesting sign. It's never simple. I think that's why a lot of them also work out. Like I noticed that, uh, Mars, I mean, everyone works out, but I noticed that a lot of them are very, very active. And I think it's, do they want to get that extra energy out, or the aggression, so that they're not sitting there like in their feet? It's also self-punishing. It can be something where we work out to the point where there's a type of, um, and I want to say, a, a type of self-punishment. I heard about that too from a Mars in Scorpio. They told me that back in the day, they used to work out to punish themselves because they were overweight. And now they do it because they like it. Um, they also like tattoos. The pain involved with tattoos, that actually feels good to them. So yeah, very, very interesting. Um, so Mars and Sagittarius, how do you think we do things? How do we act in Sagittarius? How do we act? How do we fight? That's a better question. How would we fight in the sign of Sagittarius? I say we were kind of silly. What do you think? I think they also do it in a direct way. Like a, like don't just tell you. Yes, tact is not a, not a, a strong point with, uh, Sagittarius. It does tend to just say things as they are. And I think it's not so much out of, you know, I don't think that there's a, uh, an evil motive behind it. It's more that they're just so in the moment, or just so, uh, yeah, maybe so. It just, it just happens. So anything, even after the fact, even, um, when they can say something that was, you know, maybe a little bit too much, or a little, little too honest, it's like they don't seem to notice even after the fact. So there's not a lot of back cuddling, even that can happen, or like, even stick around to hear the other counterpoint of view, maybe that can also occur. Yeah, a forwardness with that particular sign. So Mars, um, also runs in the sign of Sagittarius. You see a lot of runners, people that, uh, just express their their energy or their, uh, their hyperactivity. That is a more hyperactive expression of Mars, but you see a lot of people who run just for the sake of running. That particular sign, but that's also the sign of humor. So we act on our humor, we act on our silliness with that as well, and on the things that, uh, bring us a lot of pleasure in our life. So it's not the most serious expression of Mars. Um, there can be, you know, in all the fire signs, Mars in any of the fire signs, there just can be more of a, an of a bigger expression of anger because, well, Mars is just naturally a fire sign itself. But, um, there isn't a, uh, a resentment that we associate with the fire signs. It's something that tends to flare up and then go its own way. The water signs tend to to commit things to memory. We can have more resentment in the water signs there. So Mars and Capricorn, how would Mars fight in the sign of Capricorn? What do you think? A cold, methodical strategy to win the argument without it can be very direct. Mars and Capricorn, um, there is a way that they can, uh, say direct their energy to their goal. So it's a more ruthless, uh, expression of fighting, and, uh, more farsighted as well. So Mars in Capricorn does have a great capacity for delayed gratification. We do not have that capacity with Mars in Aries or Mars and other fire signs, but Mars in Capricorn can see the end point and can is like the the tortoise. So there's the tortoise and the hare, do you remember that story where the tortoise won in the end, because he just kept going, he was relentless in his pursuit of the finish line, and Mars in Capricorn is relentless. So it's a, it's a beautiful expression of Mars because it's easier to get our goals, it's easier to to make the eventualities that we would like to have happen happen. So it's a very business-like way of, uh, fighting. So if Mars were on the battlefield in Capricorn, he would be the general. He would be the one that was more sitting back and directing the other minions to do his bidding. So it's, uh, it is a much more, um, capable expression of Mars. And Mars and Aquarius, what do you think? How does Mars act? How would we defend ourselves or fight in Aquarius? Probably with logic. Not, not like in a Gemini way of like, I know facts, but more of like a higher level logic and seeing everything through a knowledge perspective and just fighting, I would say rationally. Do you think Mars in Aquarius could be the conscientious dissenter? It could be the sense, yeah, because Aquarius is the big picture, and often times it's, it's a lack of nationality, it's the whole of humanity, it's all of us together. So Mars in Aquarius, uh, fights more on human ideals, fights more for the bigger picture when it comes to how we can all live together and be together. So it's a non-personal way of, uh, of fighting. We're not fighting for ourselves, we're fighting for a cause that is larger than ourselves and larger than our own country. So yeah, Mars in Aquarius, um, [Music] we fight idealistically, I would say. And, uh, it is, um, it is a, a humanitarian sign, Aquarius. And so I think we act more broadly, and not so much just on what's going to gratify us today. It's easier for people to, you know, like Mars in Capricorn, delayed gratification, but for a good reason in Aquarius, because we don't do things unless we have a good reason in Aquarius. So don't do things just because we're told. We'll tend to go retro and become counter to that, uh, if we feel that there's too much pressure being put on us. So Mars can be rebellious in Aquarius as well. Mars can act rebelliously. Yeah, very interesting sign. Love that sign. What do you think about Pisces? How would Mars fight in the sign of Pisces? Badly. I checked out. And, you know, maybe excessive drug use, just so that they feel the same. So do you think we would avoid the fight in Pisces? Yeah, yeah, avoid it or numb ourselves for, uh, instead of fighting, maybe. Yeah, uh, we could also spite. I say fight spiritually in the sense that we'll fight, um, in, you know, for things that we feel are outside of ourselves. We'll fight for causes, we'll fight for things that are not personal. We'll fight for things that we feel are, uh, you know, benefiting the most people or being compassionate. So we will fight for, um, ideals in the sign of Pisces. But, um, generally, there's there's a lot of, you know, motivated by compassion or or something better, bigger than ourselves. So, um, people can also fight emotionally in that particular sign, or not at all. Sometimes there just isn't, um, there isn't an aggressive response. It can be a passive response. So there's a lot of passive, uh, types of fighting that we can see there. So fighting by giving the silent treatment, that's a big one. Fighting by pulling our attention away, stonewalling, fighting in indirect ways, but that are designed to have a consequence. So, fighting through neglect, that's a good one. That's a call. My husband was Mars, um, my ex-husband was a Mars Pisces, and sometimes he would feel things so strongly and and have a bubble of emotion and just immediately check out. And he was just a severe alcoholic. Oh, yeah. I wonder if there are a few other layers going on there as well in the chart. And to see an extreme behavior, we're usually going to have a layering effect. Like we'll have Mars and Pisces, then we may have some 12th house things. We may even have an aspect to Neptune. So it's like the more layers we have of something that leads to a certain type of archetypal sum, the more prone, uh, somebody is to having that type of extreme behavior surface, like alcoholism, or, you know, something like the way you explained, even how, you know, maybe on the negative, uh, side, you know, if they're not connected to spirituality. You hit the nail on the head, like on all the ways he would fight, stonewalling, and, you know, checking. Nail on it. Smoke and mirrors as well. Oh, that's a favorite technique. Yes, yeah. Anything that's not direct. And, um, oftentimes, you know, people with planets in Pisces, they're not at the moment, they don't see their behavior as aggressive or as, you know, even, um, something ineffective. It just could seem right at the time. So it can be harder to understand our own motivations and our own feelings in the sign of Pisces. Just that's the nature of it. Things are murky in that particular area of life. That took us an hour. That's crazy. That took an hour. We went through one sign. So we'll have to revisit these, uh, from time to time. Next time, let's talk about, um, elements. And if we can get to it, we'll talk about modalities as well. And or we'll talk about one of those and then take Venus all the way through the signs and talk about that, because we're going to have to work away in detail all the way through the 12, which is terribly redundant, but it is what it is. So we'll do, um, uh, triplicities, elements, modalities, and then we'll see if we can get through a sign. We'll probably have a little, I'll have more time next week. My mother-in-law is about to get here, so I have to get upstairs and mop the floor because it's mother-in-law. She's actually really sweet. She's 95 years old, and she is so much fun. And she is so sharp that I'll bet you if I ask her when she was born, she will know. I will bet you her mind is amazing. She remembers all dates. If you ask her about something that happened in like the 70s, she'll say, oh, that happened on a Thursday. It was 12:24 p.m. Thursday, the 24th of October. She remembers everything. So she's a lot of fun. Um, she's loosened up a lot since she's met me in the past 20 years. So I wonder if she has her moon in Cancer and her Mercury in Taurus. I'm going to find out because she'll, she'll know her birth time. Um, I'll let you guys know because she did used to be my program, but I think I had to make more room, and that's one of the names I think I probably erased. So let's meet again next week. Um, if you guys do want to spend some time just filling in the form, just thinking, uh, throughout the week, what especially Venus, focus on that one, um, Taurus Venus, because that's the one we'll be getting through sooner than later. But also when you're in your daily life, look for archetypal actions. See if you can pick them up. So for instance, um, if you're in the store, you see someone rushing through, rushing through, that's an Aries action. That's a Mars action. If you are, um, you know, in the produce section, somebody's squeezing and smelling the produce, and they only want the best produce, that's a Taurus action that we're seeing there. Um, we see a politician on the screen, and they're talking out on both sides of their mouths, and they won't answer the question. That's Gemini that we're saying there. Um, if we see somebody on the side of the road who is down and out and, uh, curled up into a fetal position and struggling with alcoholism, that's Pisces that we're seeing there. So look around in your daily life and see if you can see these constant, constant, constant threads, because you'll see combinations of archetypes in everything that you do, but there will be a main one that that action or that situation really represents. Occasionally, it'll be like a 50/50 mix. So like, you'll see a, a Saturn Uranus thing or something, but usually most situations will have a main character. Stacy, I have a question about a question about the homework. Yes. Um, so with the character of Venus, um, I think a Venus is a passive planet that like receives, but how should I take the action of what Venus is doing for giving? It's how we give. How we give. Yes. Mars is how we fight. Venus is how we give, and it's also how we, how we give and how we receive. Scorpio, I would say more of how we receive because it's the other end of the axis. How we, how we get and how we receive. But Venus is more how we earn and how we give. There is a certain amount of reception and that we do want our desires to to be met. We, we want our sensual senses to be filled. But mainly, it's something that is a self, it's more of a selfless giving, even though we do associate it with, uh, sort of superficial selfishness. It's, yeah, what we have to give, what we have to offer. That's a good way. Venus is how we offer what we have to offer. It's how we give what we have to give. So yeah, that should make it a lot easier. But I have a question on the group. So, do we meet, you know, uh, once we peek on the Sunday, and there's separate groups that meet different days of the week? There's the Sunday group, which is today's group, and then there's a really big group of Europeans on Fridays because that's a good time for them. But anybody is welcome to join any group because I'm teaching two slightly different tracks in both groups, and that's so I can pose, there's twice as many lessons. So I can post that lesson, which is on the same level, it's not, you know, above what we're learning now, it's all in the same realm of topics. So I'll post that lesson from that group, and then they'll listen to this lesson from this group. So there's, I'm not being redundant. I'm not having to teach the same lesson. Everybody's getting, you know, 50 more information, but you can join whichever one. So I was having, uh, trouble joining, um, because I was copying the link and putting it into my Zoom, and this tonight I copied the link and opened it with Safari, and I was fine. Okay. And another thing is, it is okay to disagree. It is okay to disagree with me, with each other. We can have different opinions. So, you know, if something comes up and, you know, you want to take issue with that or explore a little bit more, that's fine. Disagreement is fine. So just wanted to make sure that everybody was aware. Can I have a quick question? Mm-hmm. So, um, we're talking about Mars, um, um, so if a person has Mars in, um, uh, Aquarius, but it has a chorus quality or character, if it's in this 12th house, does that also have a Pisces quality? Also, the house is another layer that we're going to talk about in the future, uh, because that is where that is the conditions, that's a territory of meaning that the action of Mars and Aquarius is occurring in. So think of, um, the soul. Mars is the soldier. So Mars is an Aquarius is like the conscientious dissenter, the one that says, I'm not going to fight for some man, and I am, you know, going to Canada. So he says, no, I'm, I'm not going to do that, or I need better reasons for that. And if it's in the 12th house, that is occurring like, um, in the context of it of spirituality. So, um, it would be see conditions, places, the stage would be places of solitude, the hospital, enclosed institutions. So the say, the action for being broad-minded and taking care of our fellow beings, that's likely to happen in centers of worship or care. We could even see, you know, somebody acting in a way that was counter to the status quo and being in a prison of some kind with that combination, or being sequestered from society in in some way. So, yeah, it's not good to be out of step if you have things in the 12th house because we can see that combination of, oh, you're a little bit odd, let's lock you up. And of course, not everybody's going to have that, but that's that sort of archetypal layer that you see there. So, yeah, good question. Anybody else have a question yet? Uh, I have a question. So, um, we were doing this, I was thinking about myself. I have, um, Mars in Virgo, and I think, oh, I kind of tend to fight with with facts. And so, when people fight with feelings, that I don't always quite understand it. So, so I guess, are there psy, I don't know, I'm not even sure what my question is with that, but, so is that, does that make, is that like a Mars thing, though? Like Mars in Virgo thing, fighting with facts specifically? Or yes, because it's the critical thinking. It's okay. It's, but in in Gemini or in Virgo, they're very much about what happened. They're non-embellished, especially in Virgo. We don't embellish things. They're just sort of plain, you plainness. Um, so yeah, we would act on our, uh, ability to analyze, our ability to debate those, or or things that we're well armed with in the sign of Virgo. Like I can only imagine some people probably come with like really difficult charts, and it's like a therapy session. If you're doing like two or three of those per day, five days a week, like it's depleting. Yeah, like like any, any, and I don't think that's different for being an astrologer, any therapist or psychotherapist in that position is gonna feel that same effect. So, yeah, I think it's important to fill my energy bank, and I find the teaching does that. So if I can have that wonderful infinity circle where if I teach, then full enough to meet with a few clients, and I'll teach, and goes around, comes around.
