Markdown is dying, and the people killing it built good code.
Last week, Zach Rick from Entropic dropped a thesis that broke the dev internet. 750,000 views. The reply split. His claim, Markdown is the wrong format. For every spec, every plan, every PR write up. Almost all of it, out.
Why? Markdown can carry headings, bold, a bullet list. That is it. HTML can carry tables, CSS design. SVG charts, code, live interactions, workflows. Spatial data, real images. When you give it HTML, the agent stops faking the chart and just draws it.
Markdown is what your colleague will skim. HTML is what your colleague will open. There are five places where switching to HTML changes everything. Watch the full video to see why your codebase is about to look very different.
